London made our trip to Applebees all the much better! My wife and I had the best time there in the liveliness of the city and had a great time thanks to our server! Ask for London next time you go if you want a good laugh 🥳

Applebee's' delicious as always! I was there for lunch Monday just before noon and they just presented me a brand-new summer menu, with a lunch special (mon-fri) for great value, also there's another special on watermelon margaritas (see pic). My waiter Dane did a great job of serving me. It was a very quiet Monday noon. The location is a stone's throw from Times Square and if you dine in on the 2nd or 3rd floor you've got a great view down to the busy streets of Manhattan.

Julio was our server and he was so personable and very friendly!!! Our drinks were delivered quickly, and our food hot and delicious!! I highly recommend Julio and Applebees!!

I came here with my wife to celebrate her birthday and I gotta say, I haven’t been served the way we were served in a LONG time. Our server’s name was London. This guy was SUPER funny, incredibly efficient, checked on us at least 4-5 times, and was very attentive to detail. If every server was like London, the world would be a better place! We willl definitely be asking for him when we return to dine at this location!

Great experience at this location - my server, Lipu, made sure I had what I needed, and insured I could have my meal with toppings on the side, so I could try it before deciding whether to add all the toppings (which I ended up doing.) I will be back!

Delightful diner . Three floors lots of tvs and plenty of seating. The menu is comprehensive and the service and food is first class. Particularly the waiter was cheerful and very helpful . Had the cheese and bacon burger which was Devine and the margaritas were delishious however.

I’m usually stressed every time I go into the city with the family. But man am I grateful that we stumbled into this particular Applebees. We were all starving and in a bad mood. The food was great. I’ve heard Applebees was popular in USA so I wanted to try it out. I was surprised by the options they had! ❤️❤️ The chocolate martini totally blew me away🥰🍫 The steak was also really good, cooked just right. We also enjoyed the views which offer a fun vibe of Times Square. 🗽😄

I’ve been to Applebees many times. This experience was different and I honestly feel it was because our waiter London made it that way. My kids kept talking about him in the car. He was very attentive. Food was better prepped than other locations.

We visited here on a Monday just after lunchtime, wasn't too busy, only a few people in. Friendly greeting on arrival by Dane, which was lovely and he got us our food in good time. We had pasta and a side dish of fries and I had a chocolate milkshake and a lovely cuppa. Great surroundings, bright, clean, nicely decorated. Loved the little apple carvings out of the backs of the chairs. Food was tasty and milkshake yummy.

Came here for the $1 drinks but here in NYC it’s $4 which is still okay because drinks around this can be anywhere from $13 to $26. Nahid was our server and he was such a delight and very attentive. Brought us more drinks before we asked for another round and was very patient as we took our time to order. The food was pretty good and everything came out quickly. Haven’t been to Applebees in a couple years and this was a great time!

A friend and I were looking for some options to eat, rainy day, wanted something familiar. We happen to come across an Applebee’s that is on Times Square. The place was very busy considering it’s a Saturday night. We came in and we were greeted promptly and assisted to our table, our server Edwar Was extremely generous, kind and attentive. He probably took our Food order. I had An amazing strawberry chicken salad, my friend had a combo platter and all in all the food was delivered hot, the salad was cold the way it should be. And where checked on our table to ensure that we were having a great experience, all in all this was a great first visit to a familiar location. Kudos to the team here, will definitely return.

We were initially sat upstairs, however after waiting 15 minutes, I had to ask for water then did not get served for our meal order after letting 3 different people know we were ready to order, so we left. The people that were sat after us had their orders taken already! Kassidy recognised us as we were leaving and I let her know why we were leaving. She apologised and asked if we would like to sit downstairs and she would sit us right away. So we did. Eric was our server, he recommended my drink which was an amazing mocktail. He took our order right away. He was pleasant and checked on us throughout our meal. Our dinner came out promptly and was delicious. The manager then came over to us to apologise. He was great too. Highly recommend this Applebee's if your server is Eric and Kassidy the hostess. I hope they get to keep their own tips.

Located in one of the most tourist area so don’t expect this place to be quiet. We had a good breakfast here, the pancakes were very light and the whipped cream tasted fresh. However they don’t serve real maple syrup, this was the only downside. The breakfast burrito was spicy but tasty. The staff is super friendly and efficient.

While walking around midtown Manhattan today, dining companion and I chose to dine at Applebee’s because the menu offers a decent variety of items and a good drink selection. For my entree I ordered the shrimp bowl and my companion ordered the chicken texmex bowl. I was surprised by the level of spice/heat, as I must’ve missed it in the menu’s description. The heat was welcome because it provided a balance to the incessant cold wind coming from the ceiling fans on the second floor. I asked if the fan above our table could be adjusted. I could tell by the server’s response that this is a common request. According to the server, the building is old and all of the fans are controlled by a single switch. I asked if there was a warmer spot in the room and there didn’t appear to be, as the fans basically covered the entire upstairs dining area. Anyway, enough about ceiling fans. The food and drinks were good and our server was nice. There was an issue when I attempted to pay by scanning the QR code on the receipt. The site kept loading an error message avoid the check still being in use. I was finally able to pay the old fashioned way by handing our server my credit card.

I was there for the breakfast with my wife and the kids. We had a good meal, we loved Applebee's and very surprise to see the served in the morning. The menu have a lot of choice for everybody. The kids menu have large option. I took the breakfast sandwich and it was very good. The coffee is good. The server qas very nice, he offered to have the coffe to go. Nice service!

Great value and flavor — definitely one of the better American fast food places I’ve had. Generous portions and everything tasted great. However, service during happy hour was unusually slow. It took a long time for our food to arrive, and they held our card at the bar, which was unexpected and a bit uncomfortable. That was the only downside to an otherwise good experience.

Before watching The Great Gatsby Broadway show at 8 PM, I stopped by Applebee’s near Times Square for dinner 🍽️ Ordered BBQ ribs and chicken wings with Sweet Asian Chili Sauce both were flavorful and tender, way better than expected I asked to sit on the 2nd floor nice street view, less crowded than the 1st floor. Clean restroom, wide variety of menu options, and they even offered a complimentary photo print! 📸 A perfect pre-show dinner delicious food and great vibes 💛

We had lunch here and found this place to be great for food and drinks. Ambiance is pleasant but needs to be deep cleaned, though. Steak here is good. Drinks are great. The overall menu is rich, and the service is quick during non rush hours. What deserves a special mention? Nothing, I might have to visit again to find something that is above and beyond. What could be better? The seating area needs to be cleaned better.

We had brunch here and they have all day breakfast. The food serving is huge. My omelette was nice but too oily for my liking. My partner's breakfast sandwich was good as per him. This is close to our hotel. It was pleasant in there and the waiter is 10/10. Very polite and has attended to us from start to finish. Not bad for a restaurant.

I came here with my Fiance for lunch. We had really high hopes for this place seeing how decked out and pretty it is. When we sat down and got situated, it took unnecessarily long for us to order and get our food. We got pretzel bites with beer cheese as an appetizer and it was covered in salt. You could barley see your pretzels. But the beer cheese was excellent so it made up for it (since the salt thank god fell right off of the pretzel). When we got our meals (Chicken Broccoli Alfredo w garlic bread) they had no broccoli. On top of that, my chicken was undercooked. Here's wasn't, but she found a hair in her meal. She called the manager over and no questions asked he took that one off the bill and offered to make another one.

We just wanted a quick bite to eat after a long day travelling and Applebee’s did do the job. The food was okay, but the service was great. The chips were actually really good. The steak was tough, the boneless bites didn’t really have any flavour and the burger was undercooked, it was very pink. Cocktail was cheap and very nice though.

The food had been amazing and the atmosphere was really great with the Halloween decorations. However, our waiter was very unpleasant, suggests the same 16 dollars tip and when I said that it doesn't suit us and is too much, he gives us the strange terminal in our hands and goes away without us knowing that it works. When we left, he didn't even look at us or say goodbye. Too bad, we would have liked to come again.

Horrible experience. I went yesterday with a friend. The server (Jhonatan) his name in on the receipt. Was super rude, my friend who is an a older lady try to ask him about the food, she wanted to know if that is spicy and he was not polite, he didn’t answer. And it was spicy. Finally I pay cash, with a 100 bill. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted to tip him, he just gave me 10 dollars in returns taking the 18 percent tip after that horrible service. Also we wanted some dessert so we ask for the menu and he only points another table saying the only dessert we have it’s that one. I usually come to this restaurant but after this experience I don’t recommend this place.

Awful experience. Yesterday we visited this location and the service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The waiter initially seated us at a table in the middle. I politely asked if we could move to a window table since one was available, and he said yes. However, when we sat down, another waiter came over and started complaining with us for more than 5 minutes about us sitting there, saying the table wasn’t ready or clean. The table was clearly clean—no plates or food on it, so me and my sister stayed standing just listening he complained for more than 5 minutes. Regardless, if there was an issue between staff members, it should have been addressed internally, not taken out on the customers. After sitting down, we waited over 40 minutes for someone to take our order. When the waiter finally came, we clearly ordered Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo, saying it out loud and pointing directly at the item on the menu. After another 40-minute wait, the food arrived—and it was completely wrong. When we explained this, the waiter responded rudely, insisting that we had ordered Penne, which is absolutely not true. The only reason we came to Applebee’s was to try the Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo that my sister loves. He took the plate back, and after another 30 minutes, the food arrived again—this time cold and missing ingredients, without the broccoli. To make things worse, the temperature inside the restaurant was extremely uncomfortable. Everyone was still wearing their jackets because it felt just as cold as outside, and there was clearly no air conditioning or proper heating on. Overall, the service was slow, unprofessional, and rude. Very frustrating experience, and unfortunately not one I would recommend.

Was here before Christmas, the food was probably one of the worse meals I had in New York! My chicken was burnt And the French onion soup was awful. We were here back in February. The service was not great, had to ask other waiters to locate our waiter. Waited about 10 minutes plus for the bill. Also there recommended tip was after tax not before it. Very poor options for gluten free. Would not recommend in any way.

I went into this store today, 11/24/2025, at 4:15pm and was met with the worst hospitality and rudest bar staff in world. The lower level bar on 52nd side was filthy. I asked a brown skin male multiple times to clean it before he heard me and asked for a beer. He rudely told me he was leaving and pointed to another bartender named Willmarire M. That is a NOT hospitality. She seemed like the didn’t know what she was doing. He left and I had to repeat myself to her to ask for a beer and she had to ask a 3rd bartender with white skin and long blonde grey and black braids that I saw outside before entering. She came in with an attitude and a mean mug and offered no hospitality whatsoever to me and ignored me. I had to wait 10 min to pay my check and did so without leaving a tip. I went to the door greeter and asked for the MOD named “Paige” and she never showed up. This place is the absolute worst. I have 8 years in hospitality and I know what service is, this was and is, not it.

Today, I visited Applebee’s with my husband and our two sons, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from the start. Upon arrival, the staff on the main level were not welcoming and quickly directed us to the second floor. When we got upstairs, the area was uncomfortably humid, and we stood waiting at the entrance for exactly four minutes before anyone acknowledged us. The floors were extremely slippery something the staff did admit which forced me to carry my toddler for safety. It took about 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order, so we ended up ordering everything at once just to avoid further delays. There were no toddler cups available, and the food didn’t appear or taste fresh. At one point, I genuinely felt like I was being pranked. To be fair, the young woman who served us was kind, but she seemed overwhelmed by the chaos around her. Overall, it was a very poor dining experience. This location clearly needs better management and oversight it felt disorganized and unprofessional from beginning to end.
