I pass by RC numerous times going to Decatur. I never gave it a second thought surly no chain rib place would be good. WRONG it was best ribs I ever ate, fast service, clean, okra superb sweet tea southern style terrific. I’ll never pass it up again. Great job Rib Crib team.

I was going to rate this place 5 stars for portions alone- but it tasted great, too! I wanted to sample a bit of everything since we’d never come before. I ordered take out and got the Mother Load plate with an extra sausage link, fries and beans as sides, then an extra large mac & cheese and large mashed potatoes… AND dessert, and it was less than $35. I fed 2 adults and 3 kids, and there’s still leftovers in my fridge. We didn’t finish everything! I loved the pulled pork and brisket, the barbecue sauce was more tangy than sweet which I prefer. My kids loved the sausage and chicken and the peach cobbler.

Stopped in on Father’s Day expecting it to be busy. It wasn’t too bad with several empty tables and no wait at all to be seated. We then waited almost 15 minutes before our waitress showed up after asking the hostess who our waitress was. (Zai’Sha) We ordered our drinks and food. The drinks, salads and food arrived promptly; however when she brought our salads out, we asked for silverware, then waited several minutes before my wife went up to the hostess counter and got some. We were halfway through with our salads before the waitress showed up with another set of silverware. After our food arrived we couldn’t find our waitress to get refills on our drinks. We ended up asking the hostess if she could ask our waitress for refills, the hostess just filled them herself. Finally the waitress shows up so we asked for two to-go boxes and our check. I felt sorry for her thinking that maybe she was either new or having a bad day and still left a 12.5% tip. I’ll be back but was disappointed by the lack of service.

First time trying Rib Crib and I definitely enjoyed it. They were so packed and in a hurry that they dropped my food order twice but gave our whole meal to us for free. They actually got it out super fast for having to remake it twice. They did an excellent job for such a busy night! The food was so fresh and all seasoned very well. 👍

We've been to several BBQ spots. None can compare to RibCrib. The meats are consistently tender and juicy. The sauce selection lets the patron code their level of heat. The Sweet & Smoky Beans are the best I've ever had. Awesome place!

The food was great. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly. We got there just a bit after the lunch hour and the restaurant was pretty busy. But the staff kept up with the demand keeping guests served and keeping the tables and floor clean. We ere greeted by at least 3 or 4 different staff. We got our food in a timely manner and it was great. We added another plate to go which also got there quickly. We enjoyed the visit very much and we will be back.

Absolutely loved the food at this location today. Everything came out hot and was made perfectly. I even got extra BBQ sauce without having to ask for it and plenty of ketchup for the fries...but let me tell you, dipping the fries in the BBQ sauce takes it to a whole 'nother level!

The food and service we experienced here had no reason to be SO DARN GOOD. Places like this are usually mid at best, but this was one of the most exceptional meals I’ve had in a long time. The okra was by far the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff was kind, patient, and attentive. I live in Denison, but will be bypassing Sherman to go to this location every time. Absolutely worth the drive.

James was very knowledgeable about the menu and made our visit perfect by knowing the history and answering all my questions...he got a little pop and definitely had his running shoes on. Stopped here on a road trip because Chili’s was too busy. I’m so glad we did! Service was prompt and friendly. I got a salad which was huge and green with the most tender smoked chicken breast on it. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their food and we were back on the road quickly.

If you like meat, this place is for you! The main question at a place called the RibCrib is, "How are the ribs?". So, the ribs looked quite dark when served, so I thought for sure they were going to be dry. Pleasant surprise, they were fall-off-the-bone tender and moist. And tasty. I'm from Wisconsin so I'm used to drenching my ribs in BBQ sauce in order to add back some flavor after the ribs are toasted dry and crisp. But I really didn't need sauce for these. I had the sausage as well which was also very good. But, why can't they remove the skins? Staff was friendly, place was clean, atmosphere was pleasant.

I got a cribwich, which is brisket with sliced hot links in a sandwich bun. I got chopped brisket. The sandwich has loads of meat and was a reasonable price. It came with home made potato chips and a pickle. Loved it! Beware the road construction nearby. It can get confusing and snarled. Recommended.

Went to the Rib crib...food was Excellent! Ribs fall off the bone😋. The Fries were delicious they had a special crisp coating on them. The green beans were seasoned really well and the baked beans were really good too. The staff was very welcoming and polite. Overall I would definitely recommend!

We pass this place up everytime we go to Winstar Casino. Man, it did not disappoint, very clean establishment. We sat at the bar, very good selection of spirits, beer, and some wine. We really like Rib Crib.❤️ But I ordered potato skins, thinking I was getting potato skins...😳😱 I was very disappointed because I got potato WEDGES smothered with cheese and meat, not even bacon, sour cream or chives which is on potato skins! It would've been fine if I had ordered potato Wedges loaded with cheese and meat🙄😒 Called false advertising 😑 🙃 We will be back just won't be getting their "Potato Skins". Soooo....I have passed by this place a billion times and have never stopped. Today was the day I finally stopped. I ordered the half rack of ribs with two sides. I had the potato salad which was very good. No onions. I had the sweet baked beans..... Amazing! The ribs were good and tender. I ate them without sauce. They didn't need it. They were seasoned perfectly.. My plate came with a pickle and toast. Even they were delicious. From start to finish, I had A+ service. I highly recommend this place

1st I'm not a BBQ fan, but I went w my mil, and it was good. I ordered chicken nachos, yes at a BBQ joint! And they were good, mine are definitely better but what did I expect. This place can be easily summarized: perpetually short-staffed since they opened their doors and serves good (not great) BBQ. I’m not a betting man, but if I were in Vegas, I’d wager $1,000 if you ever go to this establishment, there’s going to be a “NOW HIRING” sign on their front door; it’s been there every time I’ve gone since they opened the doors a few years ago, and their lack of staff is quickly recognized the moment you enter. Of the dozen or so times I’ve dined here, there was a host at the front desk maybe three times. When you’re finally seated, you’ll eventually be greeted by your waitress/waiter after some time because they’re likely having to cover half the restaurant. They’ll be justifiably frazzled, so their demeanor won’t be too pleasant, but I can empathize with them. The food is pretty good, but not great. The portions are very generous and the pricing is good. It’s probably the best “chain BBQ” place I can think of. Everyone’s taste palates are different, but I personally put this above the likes of other popular chain BBQ joints such as Dickey’s, Rudy’s, Colters, Spring Creek, etc. but well below pretty much any independent BBQ place (i.e. Cackle & Oink, Hutchins, Heim, etc.). All-in-all, this is a pretty middling BBQ joint, but it’ll definitely suffice if you’ve got a hankering for BBQ in the Gainesville area but don’t want to travel too far for something better. Just don’t expect terrific service — they simply don’t have enough people.

Service was nice and prompt and the atmosphere was roomy and not crowded. It was a little bit cold, but I am mostly cold everywhere. I shared a large barbecue plate with my aunt. She likes the soft food so we got her the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes that she enjoyed and the ribs and brisket were delicious. We got a peach cobbler with no ice cream, but was still charged à la mode.

The Rib Crib restaurant chain as a whole has always exceeded my expectations. Every BBQ restaurant chain always has a different view as to what makes quality BBQ. I like my BBQ lean with little to no fat and the meat that Rib Crib uses is outstanding. Their ribs & pork are always cooked perfectly and they are tender & taste great. Highly recommended.

First time here and would like to start by saying that I had a craving for brisket and was more than disappointed when I was told there was none. Been to places where they tell you brisket is gone, but I had already been there a while before our order was taken so we just stayed. Would I go back? Yes, probably not mid-afternoon if I want some brisket. Nothing spectacular about the food. Straight forward BBQ, sauce was good. Had the pulled pork. It was tender, had a good smoke to it. Side salad was a good size portion with all the fixings. Service was slow considering there were not many customers at the time. Price was what you would expect for BBQ.

We met up with friends here. It took a while for us to get served and something happened to the chicken strips that they had to remake them holding up us all eating. The food was good.

Delicious Textures and Taste for the value of the meal - "Rib N Bird" Outside parking lot is loads of trash and Men's bathroom door slams so loud, caught one of employee eating fries. Needs improvements and change BUT value of food still give me good rating. 5 stars if the property were cleaned and fixed the solutions with maintenance and the employees. Thank you.

It took several minutes for the hostess to acknowledged us and to be seated and we were the only ones in there to be seated. Once seated it took several minutes for our waitress to come to the table. They were not busy at all it was close to 9pm. There was food and trash all over the floor and under the table next to us. The booth we were seated at had ripped seat that needed to be fixed. We ordered our food and she brought out my salad which looked great, it tasted good but wasn't as cold as a salad should be. The main course was delivered and looked great. It was hot and well presented on the plate. I did ask for lean brisket and it was dry but over all it was good. The onion rings were fantastic best I've ever had. The waitress checked back several times to make sure we were good or needed anything and she was very pleasant and asked if we wanted to go drinks which we had water and so she made sure she fixed it for us. I would have given 5 stars except for not being greeted for several minutes and the condition of the restaurant caused the 4 rating.

When ordering brisket, order the chopped, instead of sliced, if you prefer a more moisture in the meat. Chopped brisket comes from the brisket point while the slices brisket comes from the flat.

Wasn't the worst bbq I've had, however I had a simple lunch so my review is really only based on a hot link sandwich and some beans. The service was great, very friendly waitress and fast service. Will try it again next time I'm in the area.

I have ordered in person to eat there & to go. I have ordered thru doordash. The six pieces of sausage that received this evening is way below par versus what I have received in the past. The six pcs were the same size as what I have received with other orders but there were a whole lot of them. I am wondering if they were running out of sausage or if there was a new person back in the kitchen. Tonight's order was for a two piece meat.

The fried pickles were good, a little thick on the batter. The brisket was sliced thinly, like 1/8", and was VERY dry. The ribs were good, but again, a little too dry. The green beans were flavorful. Our server was Matt and he did a great job helping us pick the best deal for what we wanted. The strawberry limeade was delicious, not too syrupy. Lastly, the machine declined my card at first, so I ran it again and it approved, but both charges were marked as pending and put a hold in my bank account. UPDATE: RibCrib sent me $10 to come back and try again after saying they took some steps to fix the dry brisket. I went again a week later and nope, still dry. Our server this time must have been new because he never offered us refills, we had to flag him down and he ended up bringing the wrong drinks. Our table was never cleared after our appetizer or first set of drinks.

I haven't had rib cribs in years as it was my fav when I lived in sapulpa ok. I decoded to stop in since I was alone today driving by and have been wanting it for so long. Was very disappointed that I was not able to have cheese added to my fries without ordering a whole appetizer. I understand am uncharge but something I use to always get. I decided to just order smoke sausage plate with fries and beans. The fries were great the best would have been 5 stars with cheese. The beans were ok. The sausage was cold and my bread was very hard. Just hoped what I have craved for so long would have been a better experience. The store was clean my server helped the best she could.

Ordered a plate with different meats. Meats were very dry and fatty tasting. Beans and potato salad are very good. Had a hot link on it, asked to exchange it, but we can't do that. Husband had ribs, very tender. Flavor was just alright. Dessert lacking.

Possibly new ownership, manager, or cook. The BBQ was good but there are several good BBQ venues in the area where one can have an overall great experience while dining out.

We met my sister-in-law here for a bite to eat before sending my nephew back home. We were excited to try this, because it's a new place to most of us. The server we had was unsure of anything, any time we asked a question(she didn't seem new either), and the food was cold. The mac n chz was mushy, the brisket was dry and the fries were full of grease. Definitely will not be returning👎

This was my first time eating here. 4 of 7s had dfferent orders and everyone of them were lukewarm at best. Had to send back my BBQ to be heated up and it still came back lukewarm. It wasn't even the same plate that I gave them to heat up. Mine had sauce on it and the plate came out without sauce on it. Even my wife's chicken fried steak came out lukewarm. Was not impressed and will probably never come back.

Clean restaurant, service was ok I guess. The server we had was forgetful and not great, wasn't even busy. I had to ask for my daughters desert that was suppose to be included with her meal. Food was luke warm. This location was great when it first opened but I won't be back.

The food was very underwhelming. You know how you can just tell that your food was prepared by someone who does the bare minimum? Meat was dried out, potato skins looked like they sat out all day and brisket was similar to beef jerky. We wanted to like it so bad. This just didn't hit the spot. I don't like to be negative concerning someone's establishment. We wish you well and hope this is received constructively.

We tried to go for lunch today with three adults and four kids. The hostess told us the servers needed to get caught up and there would be a 10 or 15 min wait. When we were finally seated, And got the babies settled in their high chairs, In the middle of the greet, our server stopped us to ask if " they Told us about everything they were out of?".... 1- Out of chips, potatoes, lemonade, chicken tenders,. That's Everything my toddler eats! 2- And nobody told us until after we were seated at the table. We did wind up getting up and going somewhere else. In the future, I would suggest front of house is trained how to better let people know- Especially when they see families with small children- That they are out of certain things. Especially since we waited up front for close to 15 minutes. Really put a damper on things because we drove from over an hour away.

Great barbecue but this location can’t seem to stock the kitchen. Three times we have been in the last six months and they were out of potatoes three times. This last time they were out of sliced brisket on a Friday at 4:45 in the afternoon. How is that possible?

The good: the potato salad was excellent, and the salsa was too. The pulled pork was tasteless and very dry. The bun it was on was crunchy and crumbly dry. The service sucked. We seriously contemplated going somewhere else. It was a solid fifteen minutes before they came and got our drink order. We ordered our appetizer/meal at the same time as they brought our drinks. I confirmed we were getting our appetzer before our meal when told our meal "would be right out". As far as seating goes, they had a whole restaurant, and they crammed us all in one area. Based on this visit, I will not be back.

Usually love other Rib Crib establishments. Decided to stop at this one enroute to Winstar. HUGE mistake. Dirtiest one we have been to. Service was subpar if you can call it service and we are being generous with the subpar comment. Will be happy if we don’t get ill and will update this if we do. The meat was dry and seems have been possibly cooked some time back. Skip it until they get better management to watch the kids.

This cost me 40 bucks . I can go 5 miles and get twice the food at almost half the price. I will never make this mistake again.

Me and my mom waited 47 minutes for a cobb salad and brisket queso and chips. We got the food, no brisket in the queso and the queso was cold. Got the brisket. Cold, dry, and nasty. I wouldn't even let the dogs at home have the leftovers. Never even got a damn refill.

If Rib crib were a girl I dated, after the first date I would have had a buddy call her on a burner and tell her I died. The service was great, but the only part of the meal that didn’t taste like it was microwaved tv dinner was the tea. The plate portions were skimpy, and the brisket was more like a dry pot roast you left on high in the crock pot too long. Calling this place BBQ is like calling your friend that’s never seen a horse but still wears a hat a cowboy. It makes me wish I had saved the money and got crispitos from QT instead. They would have been a gourmet dining experience compared to this.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I grew up in restaurants as my grandmother and mother owned one. Having said that, my boyfriend and myself drive from Denton to Gainsville to eat at Rib at least once a month. Up until today(May 7th) we have been very pleased with the service and food. However today we walked out very upset. We sat down at 4pm and there was only 4 tables in the entire business and 3 of them were finishing. The one and only waitress we saw walked past our table 2-3 times and never acknowledged us. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, we walked out. I asked to speak to the manager and she seemed like she couldn’t be bother nor that she cared. If they were busy like previous visits that would be understandable and unfortunately they were not. Unfortunately due to one experience we will not be back.

Have been to the location in Gatesville many times the first few times it was great in the last 2 years the brisket was so dry and looked old the chicken was also very dry I don't think I will be returning. The service everyone in kitchen not attending to customers this has happened everything we have been can't say they were short handed because they weren't. I really use yo enjoy this place.

Most of my food was cold even though I asked for my food to be hot when I ordered. Seasoned fries tasted like they had been sitting out for awhile. The Catfish was the only food that was hot because they had just fried it. Server was unattentive...too busy with co-worker on their cell phones.

DISGUSTING chopped brisket and pulled pork! Tasted like minced fat. They were out of turkey and sliced brisket at 6:30. OVERPRICED dog food! There are MANY better places to eat in Gainesville.

This place has gone to hell in a handbasket.... Waited 15 minutes for a table while everybody else got seated before us and then still couldn't see us had to leave last time we ate here it took them forever to get our drink order our food order came out cold obviously it have been sitting waiting for a while because one item in our group was warm and everything else was cold They could really care less whether you eat here or not I would suggest you go to one of the many other great choices nearby

WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had. We showed up with 6 people, were told it would be 15 minutes. After 35 minutes the host said table was almost ready. Then after a total of 1 hr & 20 min we got seated. Ordered appetizers & didn’t receive them until after our entrees were served & the waiter said”the kitchen is backed up, what am I supposed to do” entrees came without silverware & server said he would be right back. After 12 minutes of him disappearing, I had to go wait by the bar until someone came out of the back to get forks. Food was cooled down after all 6 of us had to wait for silverware. I’m never one to leave a bad review, from start finish this was the worst possible experience. Host kept lying Disrespectful server Food would have been better if we didn’t have to wait 20 min for silverware to eat it.

We came to have lunch with our extended family and waited for about 45 minutes. We called ahead to let them know we were coming with 12 and they said they would have a table ready. They didn’t. The host kept giving different reasons, even saying they were clearing the table. We went and looked and they had just received their food. We left.

0 is not an option. we ordered $130 worth of bbq to go and waited an hour while 4 other tables got up and left without getting their food so I decided to ask for a refund the manger said no they wouldn't give me a refund. Even after arguing with them I still ended up leaving without my food or money. Go anywhere else and thank me later.

I ordered a barbecue chop sandwich. They put it in a plate didn’t put the sandwich together. I got I had to put it together myself. I had to put it together myself. The barbecue wasn’t that good I don’t recommend it. Cost me $15 for a sandwich and some tea And I had to make it myself.

Waited almost 30 minutes for food.The brisket was absolutely horribly dry,like it was left over from yesterday... It's pretty sad when a barbecue restaurant rated 4 stars serves a meal where the best item was the green beans. Never go to Gaineville, Tx location!

I really enjoy the food at this place,but yesterday was the worst experience. Came in at 7:30,was put at a table,no one acknowledged us for 30 minutes.I had to stop a waitress just to ask,who was or waitress,just to be ignored again for another 5 minutes.Finally a waitress came up with no apology or nothing for or wait.Then went to order ,just for them to tell us they or out of hamburgers the main thing we came for.Do better Rib Crib

The restaurant including the bathroom were extremely dirty. The ribs were okay, the greens beans and sweet and smoky beans were disgusting. The only positive thing was our nice waitress. Overall extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning.

My Husband and i stopped there for diner, Emmanuel was our server, he was really polite but he did not brought us what we order, the whole order was wrong and it was kind of cold then he tried to fix it by taking things back and bringing my husband his order, I just kept part of what he brought me but was not what I ordered, and still he charged me the order he brought me first then he asked if we wanted lemonade refills and my husband said yes, he then brought us some lemonade in a cup and poured it into the cups that we were using, my husband asked for hot sauce for his cat fish and it took him for ever to bring it, my husband was almost done with his dinner when he finally brought it, we didn’t notice till we got in the car that he overcharged us since he never brought our ticket to the table, that was really disappointing I would of understood if the place was full of people but there was no one there at that time. A family showed up way after we had our food
