Kanpachi is HANDS DOWN the Best Sushi I have ever had. Chef Brian is a genius. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Try the Sazea and ask for the special oysters. I make sure I go EVERY TIME I am in town.

It so good and you can’t beat the price. 14pieces of nigiri with miso soup and the delicious chawanmushi for $60!! And it’s really good sushi!!! I’ve had quite a few omakase in the South Bay and this place is a repeat hands down.

We were driving around trying to find a place for dinner. Drove by here and decided to try it out. There’s a small parking lot for the shopping center. The restaurant sushi bar was busy but a table was available immediately. It was good service and server courteous. There’s push button service there but the server was attentive and we didn’t use it.

The restaurant is very clean. The Sushi Omakas is a good value $49.00 with 14 variety of piece of sushi, including chawanmushi and ice cream desert.

When I go there, they only offer take-out. I brought my own lunch box so I asked them to put food in my box. The quality was overall good, given this price. However, the lotus root and tree fungus are too sweet for me. The chief is a nice Japanese person. Good service and I felt peaceful from him.

This is an authentic sushi place. Sushi is all they do, no ramen, no teriyaki chicken, no other American Japanese crossbreed stuff. Menu is simple, uncomplicated, and focused. The place is small, clean, gentle, it speaks 'quality'.

Had a great time at Kanpachi, i wouldnt recommend their squid though.. a bit too rough
