Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena

First time been here & for sure we will come back. I’m Vietnamese. Once I found any new Viet restaurant, I’ll try & note the signature dish of that restaurant. So here’s Pho Satay from Pho Hoan Restaurant. As a Vietnamese, I found it delicious. Plus is the broth & beef ribs. The broth is naturally sweet, herb flavorful (lemon grass), fresh veggie & meat. Minus point is oily. In my personal view, the broth was visibly oily & a lil bit salty but when I put bean spouts in, it tasted well enough. The ribs were so tender & juicy. I like the freshness of the meat. It’s not overnight & left over meat from the day before. Egg rolls are good, crunchy outside, naturally sweet from vegetable inside. The rolls were not dry because they have mung bean noodles inside to keep the moisture. Broken rice (cơm tấm) is good although it’s not the authentic style. The area is big. It’s suitable for parties too. People who use wheelchairs can enter. Service is fine. They ignored us when we asked them to give us a bill. We did not know that we had to go to the cashier to pay.

Best Pho place around. You know a place is going to hit when they have large sauce bottles On the table . As soon as we stepped in we were greeted , which I appreciate considering many places leave u standing there awkwardly. The music level was on point , low enough to talk loud enough to appreciate. The staff is very kind , they give off family vibes . Food came out quickly and hot . We’ve been here several times so this review is long overdue . The pics I took before we left . Next time I’ll do a before and after not just an after ….. Two enthusiastic thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍

THE BEST VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT EVER IN A PRIMARILY HISPANIC AREA‼️‼️ As a Vietnamese-Chinese person myself, that was beautiful. I ordered the satay pho, and I’ve never had a dish like this before. I love the noodle texture and meat. The soup is a little spicy and sweet, not as spicy as it appears. Ask for chili paste and add it 😊 My father ordered the Pho Brisket and that was really good too. Soft, delicious meat, noodles, and soup. Service was normal pretty good they always make sure to say thank you loudly as you leave. Pretty nice building. Not enough ice in water though. Anyways love this place had low expectations pretty good this was my first time. Com tam isn’t bad either.

Edit: I brought my boyfriend here and he agreed! 10/10 pho place! Delicious savory broth! Egg rolls were also fresh and crispy! Parking was easy and service was very fast.

I’m just going to keep it short & simple. This place is amazing and one of my favorite places to eat at. I’ve been going here since they first opened and they never disappoint. The flavor of their broth is super tasty, the Oxtail and Beef Rib Pho is a 10 out of 10 and my son really loves their chicken Pho so much. Our absolute favorite! The staff there are very friendly and welcoming and their restaurant is very clean and spacious. If I could, I would eat there everyday. 😋☺️

I came here three months after they opened, made my research of this place and saw this is their second location which gave me the impression of the great love they give to their dishes and the owner always giving his all to remember all his customers. The love and care that the owner and his wife give to all their food gives comfort and a sense of warmth. Also in house made chili oil

Feels like a modern trendy hip pho spot that totally passes the vibe check. We were greeted as we came in even during the busy dinner time. Sat at one of the booths with space to have a stroller next to us without being in the way for others. The staff are super friendly with awesome ink tats and just super chill. I ordered the #4 pho with streak and brisket which was yummy, next time I will for sure get a large. We got 2 orders of the #30 the minced pork and veggies egg rolls which were delicious and gone as quickly as they came. Huge dinning area with a modern rustic open kitchen décor. Needed to stay up so I got me a Vietnamese coffee which was on point. Can’t wait to come back to try other things off the menu.

What a delightful find this was! They don’t have too many reviews yet but DON’T SLEEP ON Pho Hoan Pasteur Gardena. The place is so clean and their menu is varied. We each got a bowl of specialty pho and also shared a rice plate. The depth of soup was there, noodles were fresh and firm, meat was abundant, and veggies additions were crisp. The flavors of each item in the rice plate were on point for me. I want to try the satay pho next time! As a bonus, the family that runs it is super adorable. You can tell they’re going to be a regular for the local community.

Chose this pho location because it was close to my Airbnb and LAX, but would stop by again! Pho broth was amazing and service was great! They were lovely and food was delicious! Would recommend getting a pork bánh mì as well! Ate it on the plane and wish I could go back for more!

I absolutely love the food, i always leave with a smile on my face, from both the customer service and the food. The pure broth was amazing! I also get the veggie egg rolls and they are piping hot and crunchy, just the way i like it. I would be coming here often, especially is cooler weather like this. I also had their chicken pho, the sauce that goes with it is also so good!!

Since we stepped in, the staff was super nice. We usually stick to our favorite Pho spot in Whittier, but we wanted to stay on this side of town and took a risk in trying this new spot. At first glance, seeing the chicken was a bit thicker than I like, I was scared to try. I tried the broth, AMAZING, the noodles, AMAZING then I went for the chicken, AMAZING! This is hands down the best Pho restaurant in the South Bay and we can't wait to come back!

This was my first time having pho, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was flavorful. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the meat was cooked very well and it was very tender. I ordered the house pho with spring rolls and the house pho was delicious with PENTY of meat! I had so much meat left over and broth that I ordered extra noodles to go and had a second bowl of pho at home. Excellent proportions for a great price. The place was very clean, and the customer service was excellent. The staff was very nice and gave me a great recommendation once I told them it was my first time trying it they were so friendly. I would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Best pho I’ve ever had. I come here at least twice a week sometimes more. The flavor is always perfect, the service is great, and the whole experience keeps me coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real, quality pho.

Never disappointed with their pho. Sometimes other places are crazy salty or fatty (fine if you like that, but it's pho, not ramen or seullungtang), their beef and chicken broths are always solid. Got a kids meal and grilled chicken spring rolls as well, kids loved it all.

Great family owned restaurant. Have tried almost every item on the menu. Their dishes are delicious , paired with the great service and calmed atmosphere. Usually busy. Very popular in the area.

Best Pho in SoCal! HANDS DOWN Most days is packed with so many families all brought together by delicious food and a great atmosphere. Once you’ve tried it you won’t stop coming back. Our favorite is the Satay, If you want to order ahead take it you can call ahead and just pick up your food and enjoy at home.

Great authentic Pho place. Delicious soup! Very friendly owner and staff. Once you try this place, you will not go to any other place in the area for pho. Bun bowls are also soooo good! My favorite is the grilled pork.

I went with the Pho Tai large, and after I broth, I knew I made the right choice. It was so good that I had to empty the bowl. Good broth makes or breaks a Pho restaurant. He found one piece of tendon in the entire bowl, so he was disappointed. The taste of the pho broth was just OK... not the best, nor the worst he's ever had. I had the grilled shrimp bun and it came with two egg rolls. I was disappointed as rice noodles were all broken. It felt as though the bowl was filled with the rice noodle scraps at the bottom of the bag. The fish sauce wasn't remarkable either. I added lime juice and samba. We tried it. We probably won't return.

I haven't tried their pho yet. Their bun thit nuong is delicious and their banh mi is a large portion.

This place used to be HICCUPS then Soup Shop. Soup Shop permanently closed few months ago. Pho Hoan Pasteur took over Soup Shop with new name and new owner. The owner is super nice and very friendly. He made very good recommendation on dishes and provided excellent customer service. I have very high standard of Vietnamese Pho places and my all-time favorite are Golden Deli in San Gabriel area and Phoholic and Pho 79 in Westminster. The broth here tase very good but it can be more flavorful. The meat is fresh and tender. I love the big piece of big beef bone! This is one of the best new Pho places around the area now beside Pho Ever. -1 for improvement of the broth (I have very high standard). Quick tips: Parking is horrible during business hour. Pho Hoan Pasteur shares the same parking lot as 99 Cents Only Store/ Starbucks/Habit Burger/Blink Fitness. The restaurant is located between 99 Cents Only Store and Habit burger. **Tips is automatically added on party of 6 or more.
