My first time coming here after reading some of the reviews, I cannot argue that this place is great! The food was amazing! A huge menu! The service was very good and the atmosphere was borderline but only because it's a smaller restaurant. They definitely need to expand the dining area but that would be my only dislike. They do have outside seating as well, so that helps. This place is a must try and i will be coming back in the future!
Great food and atmosphere. I always enjoy my time at The Pan
Samantha was great and attentive, we enjoyed her service and time here. The food was great.
We had such a great experience at The Pan Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Our waiter/ managers Sam truly made the experience exceptional. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. He checked in at the perfect times, gave great menu recommendations, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and Daniel’s professionalism and warm personality really stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back — and we’ll be asking for Sam again
Wait was about 20min. Service was excellent. Food was really good. The corn cakes with peaches are underrated- they should be the star of the menu- absolutely delicious. We asked for the whipped cream and cream cheese on the side- would have been to much going on.
I love The Pan, & the servers! SUPER SWEET service & attentive! Today we were served by someone new Sam! Loved her! Amazing service! My sister & I always order the loaded hash brown with the upgrade of the specialty pancake & we also share it because it’s more than enough for us two! & total is around $21!
Des (Desiree) is amazing! Throughout our dining experience, she was attentive, polite, professional, and genuinely friendly. She treated us — and all customers — with respect and care. The restaurant was busy, yet she multitasked seamlessly and never missed a beat. This was our first time here, and she made it a wonderful first impression. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.
Love the food and atmosphere! Our server Daniel was phenomenal and did an amazing job! I am a server myself, so I am a harsh judge, and he was 11 out of 10 came to the table right away, knowledgeable of the menu, great attitude, went the extra mile, checked back on us regularly I could not have asked for better service, we will be asking for him whenever we come back!! Wonderful service
We had a great experience at The Pan in Gardena, and want to recognize Sam for the outstanding service. From the moment we sat down, Sam was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure our drinks were always refilled, checked in at the perfect times without being intrusive, and had a great attitude the entire visit.
The host was friendly. The server we started with was nice. We ended up moving tables because I had just had back surgery and wanted to sit in the cushion booth. Daniel was our server. He was great, attentive, friendly and informative. The food was top notch. We had a lot of food on the table and didn’t miss. Shrimp and grits. 10/10. The shrimp was big (looked like u15’s). The gravy was perfect. A great amount of andouille and the eggs and grits were cooked perfectly. Their version of the Philly steak sandwich 10/10 meat was juicy and flavorful. Guava pancakes were so good. Seriously. Fluffy. Flavorful. Filling no additional syrup needed 10/10. Mango smoothie rich and creamy 10/10. The latte I had was hot and filling 10/10. Atmosphere was fun and vibrant. Each wall had something that tells a story. Love love love this place!!!! Took some chowder and posole to go!!! We will definitely be back. Ask for Daniel and tip 22% for goodness sake!
The Pan in Gardena is a popular spot for comfort food in a nice atmosphere. The Pitas Chilaquiles are a must-try, highly praised for their crunchy tortillas and great sauce. However, be prepared for potentially long wait times on weekends and note that some patrons report minor inconsistencies in service and food execution.
I've been coming here for years now and somehow have never left a review. Amy, the team leader is always so sweet and helpful and Ryder, took the time to get to know ya today. All of the staff are always so reliable and never gave anything negative to bring to the experience. The food is also really good, which may be the most important factor. Everything I've ordered has been delicious and needing no substitutions. This is as textbook as a good eating experience gets.
The food was delicious, the presentation and the flavors. Ordered the matcha with non-dairy (oat milk). The portions are HUGE, most definitely could not finish the whole plate. The server was energetic, happy. He had really good vibes, saying mijo/mija, talking in Spanish to the Spanish speakers at our table. The tables outside were a bit wobbly but other than that it was great.
I absolutely love their shrimp and grits, and pastrami breakfast sandwich. I tried the breakfast burrito. To me it was average. My mission is to try every dish on their menu. I just wished they opened at 8 or early during the week. This place is a little culinary gem. Parking is limited. But worth it!!!!
I went to LA for the weekend, shopping and Spa stopped at The Pan on Saturday and let's just say it was absolutely amazing. Everything I had was delicious. The lemon pancakes were a 10/10 the shrimp n grits was also 10/10. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection. The loaded hashbrownd great too.
This is the pan restaurant but there is also the pan nearby don’t get confused. There are a few parking spots. Busy here weekend brunch time. Come early. The food is great 👍 guava pancakes so good. And the portions are big. Indoor and outdoor seating. Refillable coffee So many options on the menu. Movktails available

Leveled up big time. food is absolutely Amazing. 'shrimp and Grits' Off the Chain!!

First time here with my husband and everything was good! Their pancakes are fluffy and not that sweet. Definitely come back to try other dishes.
The omelets were delicious. We got a waffle to share and it was perfect \nSmaller but a quiet time we went. service was fast and our server was really sweet!

The loaded hash browns are a must! You can substitute turkey bacon and sausage instead of the pork. The pancakes were light and fluffy also!

The parking lot is really needed to extend. The food is excellent 👌 😋 my cousin brought me here. Love it.
Loaded hashbrowns were delicious, pancakes were mid, I think it was small frozen blueberries and maple flavored syrup that was putting me off. Service was busy but welcoming, Sam was cool 😎 There was some weird speaker in the corner spouting instructions of some sort that I thought was abrasive, but my +1 didn't even notice it
Sometimes a person isn’t sure what they want for brunch. The Pan is the solution. The menu is eclectic - spanning standard breakfast fare with elevated pancakes, Tex-Mex options, and even pizza. There’s something for everybody. Food quality and service punch above board. Absolutely solid. Hashbrowns are the weak link here along with ambiance. Pretty cozy quarters and the space is optimized. So when dirty plates are put away you’ll just be hearing clattering which can be annoying.
The Pan in Gardena is an absolute culinary delight! This cozy spot offers a fantastic array of dishes that truly showcase the best of comfort food. I was blown away by the flavors! The breakfast options are especially delicious—try the pancakes; they’re fluffy and served with a variety of toppings. The sandwiches are also a standout, packed with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring you have everything you need. If you’re in the area, The Pan is a must-visit for anyone looking for tasty food and a welcoming vibe. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!
They have another location about 2 miles away from this one, although this location is definitely their most popular. It’s somewhere in between a traditional diner and standard breakfast restaurant. Our server was very polite, although it took quite a bit of time for all of our food items to come out. They have a very small free parking lot attached, and we were lucky enough to find a space for our Sunday brunch, but most other people I noticed had to do free street parking which is fairly plentiful in this part of town. I’m giving it a 4/5 because the flavors were good but not great, I have had better recently, but I am still happy that we tried it. For my meal I chose the Short Rib Benedict and thought it had some nice flavors although I was surprised it did not come with a side. It was just the Benedict. I have to give it a 3/5 though because the eggs were completely hard-boiled and any true good Benedict has to have poached eggs or at least a soft boil. That really took away from the flavors. I also ordered a Cinnamon Roll Pancake on the side and was sad to see it was full of nuts. It really took away from the cinnamon flavor and I felt like I was eating a nut pancake. The caramel latte was nice and I would recommend ordering that. Overall a decent breakfast spot, but considering I drove down from West LA specifically for it I don’t plan to be back. The flavors were good, but not great.
It was average, I got the Lumberjack my gf got Biscuits and gravy breakfast. The house potatoes were bland, pancakes were delicious. The Biscuits tasted like frozen Biscuits, we had high expectations but it wasn't what we expected. Next time I will get a regular coffee, I got an iced mocha and it was way too sweet.
I haven’t been here in years. We came on a weekday right when they opened so we sat right down. We were greeted very quickly and the food came out fast. We got strawberry nutella French toast, meat lovers omelet, original loaded hash browns and a lil fella. I wish the cheese was melted on the loaded hash browns. I also didn’t love I had to pay extra for turkey. So that made hash browns, eggs, bacon and sausage $17. Needless to say, the food was good and the portions were large. I would recommend you give them a try.
The Pan is a great local breakfast joint, on the weekend though, it is very busy, highly recommend putting your name down, and doing the local shop, then coming back to eat, it was over an hour wait. Ford was very decently priced, and the staff were very friendly, funny and up for a chat. The food was really good too, they have some wonderfully fluffy pancakes and mouth watering French toast, they have a few signature dishes to try as well. Parking is limited, but there is plenty of street parking.

I have ordered shrimp and grits twice. The first time excellent. Today not so good. The veggies were raw. There was like maybe a half a cup of grits. Somebody was not paying attention because the grits shrimp and egg ratio was off.
The quality of the food has diminished in the past few months. An example - They changed the ingredients in the Tiramisu pancakes and they don't have the same texture and taste. Hope they consider …

Their breakfast was very disappointing. Their menu says " homestyle potatos" when in reality they serve frozen potatoes cubes with no flavor. They were dry i counted 3 specs of bellpepper and 2 spec of onions. Dry as all get out i couldn't eat it. Their bacon 🥓 is thin like tissue paper you could see through it. Wait. Only one piece of toast?? You always get 2. They have a terrible breakfast for $16? I'd get more satisfied at McDonald's or Jack n the box. Never again.
Just left on this Wednesday morning they were not too busy. We ordered our food and drinks. We got our food before our drinks we had to ask multiple times for our drinks. My Wife got the Chilaq…
