Wooga Sullungtang is such a comforting, authentic Korean spot. I ordered the bulgogi, which came with perfectly cooked rice, and everything tasted delicious. They also serve complimentary tea that adds a gentle, homey touch. The whole place has a cozy vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. Highly recommend if you’re craving solid Korean comfort food!
Lunch in Gardena today. Parking: This gem is located inside Pacific Square plaza. There's a large parking lot. Finding a spot is easier on weekdays than weekends. Ambiance/Environment: They have a medium sized space with a decent amount of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. It's a very casual spot. Good for medium and small groups. Service: I didn't catch anyone's name but the male worker was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. The female workers were quick & efficient. They do have a heavy accent, but they speak and understand enough English to get by. Foods: 1) Yangi Sullungtung - ox bone soup made with beef brisket w/ less fat. This is their specialty. The broth itself was very clean. I forgot the exact name of the oil (lol oops) that I added to give it more flavor. The noodles and beef brisket were cooked well. 2) Spicy Jjimdak - braised spicy chicken drumsticks. This was HUGE! Get your cameras ready because they torch the cheese in front of you! There was a generous amount of drumsticks! The drumsticks were coated with their special spicy sauce. Definitely flavorful. It also came with lots of chopped potatoes and carrots. 3) Korean corn cheese - Again, get your cameras ready because they also torch the cheese in front of you! The portion size was big. Can't mess up a simple dish. Pricing: Definitely worth its price. The flavors, portion sizes, and experience made it worth it.
Amazing restaurant for Korean comfort food. Their kimchi are made in the house and super yummy! I had: 1. Ox bone soup with mixed meats (yangji, chadol, ox knee) 2. Spocy galbi-jjim - thinly sliced braised spicy beef short ribs
Very good service and delicious food. Price for portion is fair, and I highly recommend their Galbijim! It feeds 4-5 people for about $80. The banchan was also very good! The server was very friendly and offered to refill our banchan and pack our leftovers. Would definitely return!
As a korean from Korea, I could tell the meat is good quality, and the broth was well made. Above my expectations!
First off, I would like to say the service was on point as soon as we walked in the door, we were seated and greeted by the owners who are very sweet! They had a sample a lot of different dishes, I really enjoyed that seafood pancake, and the oxtail soup. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very comforting, and I felt like I was home, when you looked around and you saw other groups of people eating together, like families that made me happy. The prices were really good and the portions were huge I was with a party of three, and we were able to share all the dishes Due to the amount of food. I definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for some authentic Korean food with great hospitality.
It’s a really nice place to get some delicious food. We were seated very quickly and served tea and sides shorty after before ordering! The food we order was great and the side dishes were also fantastic. (。ˇ ⊖ˇ)♡
This is such a hidden gem. We had a large pot of Korean bone broth soup. Their bones are very tender and I could tell it’s been stewed for a long time. The soup is great with perilla leaves soft and cooked. The side dishes are just ok to me but the bone hotpot soup is very very good. I had this kind of pot at other places but it’s not this good.
I have been going here for a while. Food is consistently good. The owners are very kind. Food is not salty but flavorful but just in case you want it salty they do have salt and pepper on the table. My girlfriend and I love to choose number two and number three in the menu.
One of my favorite Korean restaurants. Awesome food!
Their Spicy galbi-jjim is really a must-try for anyone who loves Korean cuisine Its combination of tender meat, fall-off-the-bone short ribs, and its perfect balance of savory, sweet, and spicy, makes it a dish you won’t forget.
Had a nice bowl of sullungtang for breakfast…like a real Korean 😂. The broth was rich and flavourful with good portion of meat and noodles. The side dishes were simple but very tasty. Finished the bowl clean! Their menu had lots of other items which I would like to try next time.
Had an excellent bulgogi soup here. Tasty banchan as well! Very nice servers and the servings are generous ( definitely meant to be eaten with a friend or two).
I am often in the Torrance area for work and adore trying out all the local food spots my friend takes me to. Though on the outside, it may seem like a simple hole-in-the-wall restaurant, Wooga Sullungtang is genuinely an authentic Korean experience. The menu is in Korean and English, though if you are unfamiliar with this style of cuisine, you may want to research it before ordering. We went there on a weekday during lunch, and the only other patrons were older Korean women and a group of university-aged friends while K-Pop music videos played in the background. The staff was very friendly and kind, and though my friend spoke Korean and I did not, they still made me feel included (including one of the older servers sliding me a fork without even having to ask!). I had the beef short rib soup, and my friend had the ox bone soup. I still think about how good it was, possibly being the best soup I have ever tasted. I have yet to find a better place or anything remotely close to hitting the spot here in Seattle. I strongly encourage you to drop in if you’re in the area!

So authentic, I was craving some Korean comfort food and Wooga Sullungtang has some of the best sullungtang around the area! I also love how they have purple rice available. We ordered: - ox bone soup with mixed meat ( comes with noodle and rice! ) - Korean chicken soup ( so comforting! And the portion is generous) - Korean pancake with squid, mung bean, shrimp - spicy galbi jim ( spicy beef short ribs with rice cake) SO GOOD & flavorful, I added cheese as well Service is friendly, restaurant is clean, will come back :)
Amazing food 😊 we had Yangji Sullungtang. Ox bone made with beef brisket. The lady who attended was super nice and friendly.
My friend and I chose two of the five of the early specials. We each shared so that we can have two samples. It was very delicious. And the Ban Chan was really delicious.
Wooga is my Go-To place for sullungtang (Korean bone broth soup) now! Their broth is very good (traditionally it's not seasoned so you add sea salt, black pepper & sliced scallions), plentiful of sliced beef and authentic potato starch noodles in the soup, exactly the way I used to eat in Korea! It's a perfect comfort food for a cold, rainy day! The funny and entertaining staff who is there all the time ("Richard" is his American name!) always works hard to serve each customer with proper courtesy and pays attention to details on each table. This place caters to younger Koreans and non-Koreans so their menu has English and photos of each item. Very casual place to eat, with friends or solo (I often go there to eat dinner in between choir rehearsals)! I had cold noodles during summer, both spicy and in broth, and they were quite good too! My fav is definitely #3 but also like Stir-fried rice cake (#41)!!!
I had dwaeji-gukbap, and I highly recommend it. There was no unpleasant pork smell, and the thickly sliced meat was very tender. The pickled perilla leaves served as a side dish were especially delicious—I recommend placing them on the meat and eating them together.

Ordered the Galbi-jjim and it was so tender and flavorful! The ribs were fall off the bone. Add cheese for extra flavor and a fire show. The side dishes were tasty. Service was good. Will be back to try the soup and other dishes!

Ordered the yukjaejang (early bird special). I've had better ones else where. They gave me 2 sides while other tables had more sides, maybe because I ordered the early bird special. I usually get like 4 side dishes when I didn't ordered off the early bird special.
