Just wanted to give my 5 star review of this Golden Corral being actually “Golden”. Excellent customer service from all the staff members keeping this establishment running like a well oiled machine! Clean food areas, well stocked food stations. This restaurant was at full capacity on a Sunday afternoon!! The restaurant was accommodating to my husband and myself with my elderly mother in a wheelchair! Keep up the good work!! Good management is key. We will definitely be back!

We love this location they have posole on the weekends n its really good the selection is pretty much the same as other golden corrals but it just seems bigger to me the staff is very friendly and helpful. This location is a little more busy but that means the fresh food they keep a coming

This one is way better than the Mesquite Golden Corral. It's clean has better staff and better selection 👌🏽.

We had my grandfather his. 91st birthday here, and he loved it! Great staff, very attentive and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I'm giving this location and experience 5-star for several reasons. Is it the most fancy? No. Is the location lux? No. But they make basic breakfast foods very very well - and with tons of options. For the price point you can't beat it: take advantage of the made-to-order egg/omelet station, the Belgian waffle station, fresh-made pancakes, cinnamon rolls, juice (try the guava...and included in price). Also includes a complete salad station with fresh lettuce and spinach, and surprisingly an expansive dessert selection with good food quality all around. Everything was neat, clean and organized. Now lets talk about the price. Everyone in our party was 60+, so it was $13.49 plus tax each - which is already way less expensive than going out for a full sit down breakfast at a typical restaurant. The breakfast buffet at this location is only on Sat/Sun from 8-11am, so make note of that. Great job to the hard-working staff. They all did a nice job. It was a great way to kick off our weekend, and we all left there satisfied and content. :)

Our server Beth Barnes did a fantastic job on our lunch visit today, she was very attentive. There was a wide range of very good food, I always love the spaghetti as well as the meatloaf.

Susana was an excellent server that paid attention to every detail like refilling drinks and getting plates out of the way. Not to mention the food itself is always delicious and plentiful. Definitely my go to place!!

Very nice and clean atmosphere. Upon arrival the place was well opened and spacious, the server was very nice, efficient and pleasant to talk to, she made us feel right at home. I love how you have so many different types of food to choose from. I would say there was atleast 30 different options and serving fresh steak constantly is a plus. All of the food was fresh and hot. They have food for everyone. There's also a full fruit and salad bar and a full blown dessert bar in which the kids absolutely love. This is the first golden coral that I been to that has a slushy machine, the kids were going nuts behind it. Everyone looked like they were having a good time. Every time I come, I eat atleast 4 plates when I come. Thank you guys for the great service, we all left stuffed. Oh incase you are wondering about the price, it's $15.99 per adult and if you add a drink I believe it's $2 more, so I say it's about $20 per adult, so for my crew of 6, I paid $102.99, we definitely ate our money worth.

As a traveller who have been away from US for 2 yrs, I missed a lot of American food. To get a glimpse & satiate your palate, this place is a one-stop oasis. This restaurant have updated its place to keep up with ever-changing arts, decor & versatility in service & cooking for a buffet restaurant. Family-oriented atmosphere brings wholesomeness in food. Table service is crucial for this place that you cannot find in any buffet restaurant. The waiter is there for you to get coffee or a refill, or just to take away plates. An awesome service that makes dining appealing for buffet restaurant. Please tip for hardworking waiters.

I live in mesquite tx but id rather come to the one on garland as Susana has been the one taking care of us and she's always good, attentive and friendly we love her.

Golden Corral never disappoints! The food is always amazing and there’s such a great variety that everyone can find something they love. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and well stocked. Always a great experience.

This buffet always hits hard. Best place to go if you don't know what you want. The vegetables are pretty bland but there's plenty of choices. Set yourself up for success and bring your own cajun spice. The salad bar has sauces and toppins that can make any of their other dishes better. My faves are the pot roast and salad bar.

The food is fresh and service is great! We enjoy this particular location so much that we drive 35 minutes to dine here. The owner is humble and his staff is amazing!

Golden Corral is the best American food buffet hands down. Its been a while I came here, so I decided to come here for thanksgiving. As usual, there was a wide variety of options and I gotta say, the steak was darn good. I really enjoyed the marsh potatoes and gravy and the chicken and turkey were really good. They have quite the array of desserts. This location was packed but still managed to find seating with almost 1 hour to close. One small issue I had here is that the waiters were not always actively checking with guests in the section I was sitting in. Sometimes, I had to get up and go ask for something. This location is clean and the tables were quickly being cleaned after each guest left. Definitely will be back to Golden corral again.

This place is fantastic ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Always looking for unique food places and got a recommendation on this one. Drove 30 min and it was above and beyond worth it! Service is great. We eat at a lot of restaurants, and this is by far the best one we at in a long time. Prices are reasonable 13$ for the quality and amount of food, the flavor is outstanding, and the desserts are awesome. (You have a lot of choices.. ) It is hard to find buffet restaurant that everything you try, and all courses are great, but This place definitely nailed it. I recommend this buffet for all.

Friendly staff and our waitress was great and very attentive. We haven't been to a Golden Corral in many years and it did not disappoint! The food was hot and fresh and tasted great, I really enjoyed the meatloaf and pot roast. I will be back in the future to do a buffet to go meal.

My family and I decided to eat dinner 08/18 and our waiter was simply the best. I believe her name was Laura (she had curly hair) She was absolutely awesome and the fact that she spoke Spanish just name my family connect. She always made sure we weren’t missing anything and she even offered a coffee at the end to go with the desert. So who ever has her as a waiter with no doubt she will make dinner a great experience. It was a fantastic experience. We dined there on a Saturday afternoon. The options are widespread along with healthy options. We loved the breads and croissants extremely much more than anything else. The meatloaf is delicious, and so is the fried fish. The service was swift and efficient. The fried chicken was good too, much better than some fast food alternatives. The price is reasonable. It's even cheaper on weekdays. We had 2 coupons so ultimately ended up paying just $12.65 for the lunch of 4 people on a Saturday afternoon. Without the coupons it would have cost us $77.85 which is reasonable as well given the choices in the buffet.

This place is a very good place to waste time and eat a lot. The food was good but not great. The service was helpful, but one staff member got mad at us. The atmosphere was loud, obviously. There are speakers, and the restaurant feels calm.

Always wanted to try a Golden Corral and got curious when I was passing by. The food was okay… all the sides I had tried were all very bland and mushy but the fried chicken was super good and flavorful. All the servers were very nice! Very very nice.

I haven't went to a golden corral in years cause the food just wasn't good. However, I went to this one last night and surprisingly the food was good! It's $16.99 a person for dinner which is a little pricey but they do have a ton of food and variety to choose from.

Haven't been here since I was a kid, and was feeling nostalgic. Food was meh. Hit or miss for lunch. The staff were extremely friendly, and refills were fast. Will have to come back to try breakfast.

I typically do not like coming here, but I came with family the past two Sundays. Man was the food hot and the steaks were to die for! Our waitress was kind and friendly!! The wait time was a little heavy but I mean it’s expected on a Sunday! Over all the food was great and it definitely changed my perspective on this place! All the Golden Corrals near me had closed years ago, so I was thrilled to hear about this one. It was a wonderful experience to visit and dine with my family, and it brought back many cherished memories of my childhood.

The servers and wait staff were very helpful and attentive. The food was mostly awesome The seak not so much. It was tough and poorly cooked. However their tilapia was delicious enough that one of my 15y/o goons went back for 2nds along with their seasoned fries The fried chicken was the best I ever had the crust was crisp no dripping grease the meat was well cooked and tender. On the whole I would recommend this resturant to. All. Price was agreeable as well. Big Pappa says.

It was mixed. Where you pay had people lined up past the open time. No one was communicating with the customers. They finally opened late with no apologies? The food was good and my waist staff was very attentive to customers needs.

Hard to know how to rate a buffet. Some food is yummy and some is not. When the servers are run off their feet it's hard to get good, friendly service and other times they're helpful. I didn't go here expecting fine dining. I was excited cuz I hadn't been to one in 20ish years. So the 💰price💵was the first shock 💸💸💸💸. I didn't expect it to be 7 bucks anymore but 18? Wow. Don't want to G give here if you don't have a giant appetite. Just not worth it. Between the 6 in my family, I'd imagine only my husband ate anywhere near $18 worth and I doubt even he did. Obvs they need to make money, but they're making a LOT on your average appetite. But there was a fantastic variety and it was laid out so spacious. Some buffets get far too crowded in the buffet area with everyone crowding. This was so spacious with a huge area between each side so no crowding. It was easy to find food my kids liked since there was so much variety. I appreciated the salad bar for some lighter fare. The choice was so vast we only scratched the surface. The food wasn't amazing by any means, and not near as good as home-cooked even, but it is convenient. I typically expect a restaurant to be a step above home cooked which is why I go. This is purely convenience and everything at once. Dessert was pretty second rate. We took a tiny sampling of cakes, cookies and more to share. Great variety but not one thing stood out as "oh, I want my own piece of that!" We had a very hard time getting spoons for the kids. Why are there no spoons set out? Not even in the dessert section or ice cream section. This is baffling. A very cafeteria style vibe. Again, you aren't going here for class or style. You're going here for a giant, convenient meal!

It has a great variety of foods. BE PREPARED for up to a 5-10 minute wait for a refill! Or better yet, just get water since it's free and you don't have to pay $5 a drink to wait 10 minutes for a refill

I came in alone and got a variety of food from enchiladas to meatloaf. The food was alright overall. The staff however ignored me for the most part. It was very hard to get a drink refill and they kept putting ice in it when I asked for no ice. They also never cleared my table the entire time I was there even when I set plates and cups aside or they were coming back with my refill.

The experience was mixed. Some of the food options were okay, but the steak was rubbery and the carving station only gave very small slices about an inch per person, which was disappointing. Drink service was lacking, with refills hard to get, and we were incorrectly charged for an extra person at checkout. Overall, it didn't meet expectations and could use improvements in both food quality and service.

It's definitely not like the commercials. The food was alright. Some things good, some I pushed away after one bite. Some things were a bit salty. My biggest takeaway- and turnoff- was how chaotic it all was from the moment I walked in. Long lines to pay THEN wait to be seated. But they weren't really lines; just a gobbled mess. Waiting for someone to come around to get you a drink. Crowded. I told my friend that I'd been to some Las Vegas buffets but they weren't like this.

I drove 38 minutes to eat at a buffet I used to love before covid shut down the one in my home town in another state. The food is just like I remembered. I'm sad to say so is the atmosphere. I added some photos to share what you can expect as a patron at prime dinner hours on a weekend night. Imagine making an ice cream cone for your toddler or an old fashioned icee at this dessert bar. I understand it is self service, but the staff should oversee sanitary conditions and the parking lot could use attention.

Overall, the food experience was disappointing. Several items appeared undercooked, and the taco station could be more appealing—the meat looked like it had been sitting for hours without being stirred, and the taco sides were unappetizing. The dessert area had some good cakes, but it was messy and not consistently stocked or fresh. The fish could be fried to a crispier texture, and the dirty rice was unappealing. Even the wings looked artificial. My recommendation is to hire skilled cooks who can consistently prepare quality dishes. Despite these issues, I’m going to return to see if improvements have been made.

There is no information on the website about the 22$ thanksgiving buffet. We travelled 20 miles thinking about the 13$ buffet as we felt it was cheap compared to the 20+$ buffets near my home and also seeing the good reviews here. We went there directly and were surprised to see the huge line. We were charged 22$ for a meal and around 4$ for drink , 26$ per person, which we feel is a rip off for the quality of food we ate. It was all fried food. Green bean caserole had pork in it by default which was disappointing. The labelling on the food was not clear at all , items were misplaced. The price was not mentioned on their website and they didnt pick up the phone. Food was Not worth travelling 20 miles for. It was Okayish and definitely not worth 26$. Will never go here for a special occassion.

My daughters and I went to this location this evening and were incredibly disappointed, especially with the manager on duty. We had an employee barrel over my daughter, almost knocking her over. She’s already had a spinal fusion, she’s in a lot of pain from the incident. There was watermelon in a fruit salad that had been bitten and returned to the salad, it had teeth marked and a chunk missing - the employee I told took it out of the fruit salad and threw it away- leaving the rest of the fruit salad in place. The slushy and ice cream machines had been a pile of mess the entire time we were there, the steak was bad enough to be spit out & smelled like it was left on a counter too long. When stopped to talk to the manager on duty and I was blow away by how many excuses he provided, he didn’t ONCE ask if my daughter was ok, “I’m sorry” was the very last thing he said, after about 10 minutes- just before letting us know we had to come back and see him. He tried to tell me his employees aren’t from America and do things different- the food handlers course is the same no matter what language it’s in. Grown adults shouldn’t be pushing through anyone, certainly not carrying hot food. No incident report was filed, but she limped the whole way out to my car and will be feeling this for days. The manager told me his hands were tied multiple times and he couldn’t do anything, he couldn’t control other people, but he wanted to make a “deal” so we would be happy. He offered us 5 $5 gift cards, trying to excuse it all away. Not once did he take responsibility, just made excuses about things out of his control. I don’t want to return at any point, those gift cards are a waste- he said we could go to a different location. After this experience I wanted to throw up at the thought. Refund half of it and we’ll call it good. He kept with excuses about how things are out of his control. We told him to keep his gift cards, I’ll write a review. VERY QUICKLY he refunded the full bill, then told us we needed to return to see him and he was sorry it wasn’t the best this time. I’d recommend skipping this one.

This golden corral is terrible(visited 11/22/2025). The food was cold, bland, and virtually inedible. I tried several items that were either unseasoned. Lukewarm. Or just downright disgusting. The staff huddled at the wait stations talking to each other. While drinks were unfilled . Dirty plates remained on tables. The place was teaming with kids running around, making messes that weren't being cleaned. And I don't know what kind of steak that was but i will never eat there again.

Super gross. People coughing everywhere. It’s a free-for-all where you sit, and dang near every table is dirty. The sprite was watery, which wouldn’t be a big deal if we could actually get ahold of our server to replace it. The buffet lines were a mess; food was sprawled all over. I felt like I was watching that scene where people turn into pigs in Spirited Away. Golden Corral used to be cute country vibes with southern staples. Overall just so disappointing. Steak was also nowhere to be found. Waste of $43. Truly. I’m not sure if it’s because this is in Garland or what, but yikes!

Smelled like a septic tank throughout the building as you were getting your food and as you are eating, all you can smell is very bad poop. My dad and I could not eat, but we had already payed.

Me and my sister went in around 8.30pm on 02/19/2026 for my 2 year olds birthday. There was no line but it still took the host 5 minutes to even acknowledge we were there. I had my 2 year old who was already pointing at the food ready to eat and my 4 year old wanting to sit down. The host then said that the food that was out is all thats left and we were ok to dine with them up until 9pm and the food would stay out. We paid $42 at 8.36pm and went to get food. There is still about 20 minutes until closing and they were picking up the food as we are making our plates. Our waitress stood over us with her phone out reminding us about the time constantly, then proceeds to sit at the table next to us and watch us eat the little bit of food that we were able to get. Absolutely horrible. They should've just told us no to begin with if they didnt want us there.

Went there 10 minutes after opening for an advertisement for a breakfast buffet. Paid lunch menu prices. When it shouldve been breakfast price for one. Then the "buffet" was a waffle maker. That's it. I've had better breakfast at hotels. Wasn't helped by any staff. Didn't have my drink filled. No fountain drinks in the restaurant. Tried to ask questions and was stared at blankly. Terrible experience
