Wow this is a beautiful hidden gem! I I don't know why I have never heard of this place before. Well I'm going to tell more about it. I'll even get some pics next time I go. Really nice place with great coffee!
I had the Early Bird. Delicious. Service was good for our large group. Pre-ordered food was ready and served quickly. Butter pecan coffee hit the spot, too.
We got a mocha and a matcha green tea latte and both were excellent. Mocha was well done and not bitter with a unique finishing design. The matcha was exactly what I was looking for and they were kind enough to add extra matcha for me (needed the pick-up) and sub cream for the milk. Service was great and friendly. Might make this a regular pit-stop on my frequent travels through town.
Intimate setting with delicious coffees and helpful, courteous staff. Definitely worth a stop if you're traveling through Geneseo or if you need a comfortable place to read or get work done. Apparently very popular with college students!
The coffee, lattes, machiatos, chai lattes and food are awesome, some of the best service I have found at any coffee shop.
Definitely check it out if you're visiting Geneseo. I've been going here like 5 times a week every day during school for about 2 years now. I love it. I get the Evening Star coffee with a little half and half and its does the trick. You get free refills on the same day as you buy a cup. If you put $2 in the box to the right of the register you can skip the line and just grab a cup. Bagels are lit. Three cheese is great I recommend getting chipotle mayo on the side. It has a really nice atmosphere and they play interesting music that varies day to day. They also hold some events on Fridays nights like live music or movies and serve several kinds of alcoholic bevs, for those of age. During the week its usually not too full. You'd be luck to get a table on Saturday morning/afternoon. Great place to do studying if you don't mind the noise.
Attended the valentines dinner at Crickets today and the chef (Alexis) makes the best chicken parm in Livingston County!
Incredible coffee, great staff and we loved this stop. If you're going through Geneseo, please stop here for coffee. You won't be disappointed. Very well decorated (quaint and comfortable), and we will definitely stop here again.
Visiting from Canada and found this on cute cafe mid drive. Beautiful town and really cute atmosphere, recommend sitting by the window on a rainy day and enjoying their soup.
We used this space for a bridal slower. What a great place! I highly recommend for events or just to stop by for a coffee or drink!
The food was amazing! The 53 with extra chicken was so flavorful. My husband loved his chipotle turkey and there were no problems at all. The staff was so friendly and did an amazing job. We will gladly come back!
Stopped in for a quick lunch. We ordered a melt and a wrap and both were delicious. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. The service was great and prompt. It was also very clean inside. The menu had many options for food and drink. I highly recommend.
This place keeps getting better. I used to not like their coffee but now it’s great, and their specialty drinks, both hot and cold are—well, I don’t like using the word “ amazing” because it’s a tad overused. A couple weeks ago I had their Lazy Lavender Latte, with white chocolate, raspberry and lavender. I took a sip, sat back on the couch with my eyes closed, and held it in my mouth for a few seconds just to enjoy each individual flavor separately. I may never again go to the chain coffee place that’s 200 feet from my apartment. Who needs their free coffee when such deliciousness is only a few bucks?
I really love this place! The atmosphere is very nice as well. The drinks and food are top-notch! The staff is friendly and will help you with what you need. They are also gluten conscious, which is very much appreciated, seeing as I am gluten intolerant. Stop by if you're in the area!
Very good coffee and pastries here, especially the pumpkin espresso bundt cake. The place was full of college students but we found a seat without difficulty. Lively atmosphere and friendly service.
Lovely place with great staff. Made 3 visits in the past month. Dirty Blanket one night and two nights of Sam Grisman Project. All three nights were sold out shows. Night 2 of SGP I had two drinks and was charged for four. I corrected the bartenders and they corrected it. Bar service could have been faster - may need to anticipate for more staff. Rachel did great on the SGP nights - I could tell she was a little overwhelmed. These opinions are not only my own but I heard multiple people say some harsher things.... But YALL DID GREAT! Large crowd and fun night! If I could make one recommendation... Convert popcorn stand to a beer cart, offer some drinks in a second location to ease bar traffic. Also, I would recommend putting large water in an accessible place - with the crowd it got warm in the theater and would help with a few things; bar traffic, customer intoxication, stayling cool and hydrated, etc. Overall - very impressed with Crickets services in association with The Riviera and Jam Kitchen.
Crickets Coffee Company is a must go when in the area! The coffee is great, atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and there are tons of great food and coffee options with great pricing. Staff has always been friendly and there are always people in the store! Parking is on the street which is the only downfall especially Monday-Friday.
The latest version of this coffee shop maintains the charm of previous ones. Lots of comfy seating. Food is good. We enjoy going and playing board games. A good college study/hang out spot. The staff is very helpful.
Niche local shop, good stuff - plus amazing service from great workers like Laney! I had the B.E.S.T on sourdough and Tiramisu Iced Latte. The sandwich was very good, bread toasted perfect, bacon good, eggs, spinach and really good flavorful herbs. The Tiramisu coffee tasted just like Tiramisu and on a humid 85 deg day the iced option was boom
Love their iced coffee & vegan options (avocado toast, bagel with vegan cream cheese, tofu scramble, etc). I’m also impressed with their new rewards system, plus the staff is super friendly. I’m going to miss Crickets when I graduate!
Nice place. Good atmosphere and for the space a good amount of seating. Hours are great and its one of the only coffee shops in ghe area. The decor inside is nice as well. Know its a college town and this is a popular place for college students.
Super friendly staff...quick service...had a great egg and cheese sandwich on everything bagel with sausage...would recommend others to try
We had breakfast there this morning before hiking in Letchworth with the family. Food was great! Coffee was excellent. And they were kid friendly! We loved it and recommend! Thanks!
Fun place, well spaced seating, very good food and friendly staff.
Stopped by because I was in need of coffee. Ordered Carmel Honey Cold Brewed coffee. The Barista took my mug to make the drink. She nicely said she had never made it in a travel mug and was wondering if she made it right. I tasted it . Wow!!! She did a fantastic job. Very friendly, pleasant atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and enjoy something else.
This is a cool place to hang out and eat. The Food is great, the staff are friendly. All in all I enjoy myself the couple of times that I have been in there.
Amazing what you've done to the space. It's spectacular. My husband, who generally doesn't like anything local, really enjoyed our dinner out tonight. The chairs are so comfy, the music and atmosphere were spot on and I'm excited to return to try all of the breakfast items too! We have been seriously lacking in the breakfast"diner" department in this town. We finally have a place that serves a lot of different items and has a great space to provide for eating at a leisurely pace and enjoying time with friends and family.
The wallpaper at the new Center St. location might be my favorite part of the decor! It's great to have another spot for a casual bite for supper in addition to the breakfast and lunch offerings. It's also cool that the new space now connects to the Riviera and the former Intermissions, so you can have one long night of entertainment, food, and drink all under one roof (of sorts). It's usually not too loud in the evenings, pleasant for a chill night out. Presentation of the supper food could be a little upgraded, but for a sandwich or wrap, it gets the job done fine. Overall, a perfect place to warm up with coffee or catch up with a friend.
The inside of this place screams coffee shop and it's adorable!!! Staff is pleasant, the decor is so cute! The shirts and hoodies for sale are very reasonably priced and they are that super comfy material! My husband and I ordered 2 coffees, mine iced his hot and they were both delicious! The hangover sandwich was delicious and the hashbrown side as well. We will definitely be back with family!!!
I love Crickets! The food here is so good and always tastes so good. Their coffee is good too!! I like to get caramel iced coffee and it always tastes a little bit different each time but it's still good. I love their pumpkin chai so much! The service here is always friendly and I feel really welcomed.
Amazing local coffee spot! Comfortable, clean, socially distanced seating and an excellent menu with many creative yet familiar items. I enjoyed the Dijon chicken panini on sourdough (amazing!) and a unique herbal tea blend. Great value and friendly service. 10/10 would recommend and return to!
I love Crickets. First of all, the owner is so nice and is always here. The staff is responsive and warm. The menu is a good combo of niche seasonal and the usual stuff. They’re gracious about substitutions. Everything comes out hot and delicious. They support the town-college community building. Patron them as often as possible instead of going to DD or the campus Starbucks.
My wife and I stopped into Cricket’s Coffee Company while visiting Geneseo. The staff was extremely friendly and my Americano was made to perfection. The entire atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We sat and worked for hours. And we enjoyed every minute. Every coffee shop should strive to be like Cricket’s Coffee Company!!!
We had breakfast here while visiting the area for Letchworth State Park. My B.E.S.T. sandwich and my wife's eggs and potatoes were amazing! Highly recommend their London Fogs, too. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and welcoming!
I only got coffee so no food but my friend got a burger that looked good. First time here, will definitely plan again. I liked it. The servers were helpful and engaging.
Order was not put in correctly because of computer glitch. However, Joanne made the missing item quickly and offered us a gift certificate which we refused as it wasn't necessary. Her apology and sincerity were very much appreciated. And, the food was EXCELLENT!
I request a fall lox bagel 🥯 the salmon 🍣 run starts in the fall🍂. No one near us serves a lox. And salmon run right in the Genesee river near the college. It would be a hit!!! And this is the shop to pull it off. Smoked salmon is not raw and wouldn’t be hard to make at all. Wegmans carries the best smoked salmon around. Unless you buy from a local who smokes it.
Super kind staff, great coffee options tons of flavor chioces. They have tons of breakfast options and they serve lunch all day as well. Very nice calm and cozy vibes, lovely place to grab some coffee and a bite to eat.
Everything was exceptional! Food, service, atmosphere. They were extremely busy and we were surprised by how quickly we got our food and how delicious everything was. In town for college visits. Highly recommend
This place was awesome and very unexpected. I've gone for coffee a few times on Sunday mornings which was good. Went for beers the other night and will be coming back for sure. Someone had a plate of wings that looked decent, so decided to order some. Wow - they were fantastic. Up there will the best in Rochester. Crispy, saucy, perfectly cooked and huge. The place feels too clean and was very bright for after 9PM, but that is because I'm too used to Kelly's...
We found this gem a month ago, and we really like it. And the wings with the fries and pitcher of Busch Light beer is a great deal. Yes, I said a pitcher of Busch Light. It's cold and pretty tasty to wash down the wings, which are very good also. I like my wings extra crispy, and they deliver them just the way I like them!
Plenty of street parking. Plenty of seating whether you're by yourself up at the bar or with your computer at a high top table. Or maybe you're meeting your party of 6 for brunch. Plenty of options to pick from no matter what you're craving. The staff is friendly and helpful. Clean, cozy open space. Large portion of food and all for a reasonable price.
I used to be obsessed with their smash burgers but they changed their burger patties from fresh ground beef to the packaged burger patties and I can taste the difference. I asked them about it and they said that’s how it’s always been but it wasn’t like that last year. Their food is decent though.
Service was amazing. Totally enjoy the environment. I wish they would offer more than just feta cheese. Possibly American. Geez. I also don't like ketchup packets. Bad for the environment. I had a great scrambler
Feels exactly like what you'd want a small town coffee shop in the heart of a college town to feel like. I'm not thrilled with their portion sizes sometimes; I paid seven~ dollars for a salad that was given to me in a container that literally fit in my palm, but I think that may only be a problem for the food you ask to take out, since portions haven't been a problem when I dine in. I do really like their food in general, though.
I would give it five stars because service was great but they don’t have their bubble tea anymore which was a big win in my book because there aren’t many places that have that around here. I also wish they still had the peanut butter chocolate banana overnight oats because those were good. But service was great😁
Trying out their smash burger here. It's pretty good. I might stop back again to try something else. The atmosphere is a little off. There was no interacting from the staff after the initial ordering of food. No checking up about the meal. The pay before you eat concept, considering it's not a fast food type of place was weird. Their was no indication or explanation for that anywhere. It took a quite a few minutes for them to notice I was there an explain the process.
The place is really nice and the coffee is fantastic. My only qualm is that the staff is severely understaffed. I honestly feel bad for them. I have been here for the last 3hours (since 7am) and for almost an hour one girl had to do everything. She was so stressed out. At 830 there was a line of over 12 people. That's crazy Edit: Cricket responded to my review and I'm changing it from 3 to 4. This is just a busy time of the season and that's understandable. 👍
I usually love this place, but was very disappointed today. They have a special "winter pancake" that I tried last week. It is fabulous. Today I decided to come back since it was so good. Drove almost an hour here. It was completely different this time, nothing like the description. No sprinkles or icing, just dry and plain. I told the lady who bought it out what it was supposed to have on it and she actually argued with me about it! Didn't offer to correct it. I agree with other reviews, customer service is lacking.
I don't believe there is any heat in the place. I'm glad I was drinking semi hot coffee. Mocha latte wasn't bad but almost half of my large cup was foam. Very expensive foam. I may have gotten frost bite while visiting with a friend.
Decent coffee that is served warm. Large is mostly foam. I got the campfire latte which really doesn't have a flavor (aside from the milk taste.) Staff in the back seemed more worried about completing "lists" over helping the girl at the register make coffee and ring people up.
The restaurant is confusing with two separate dining experiences. I wanted to order a acia bowl as seen on there pictures on the site but they said they don't serve it so it was a major let down.
Was in town for my college reunion and checked this establishment out for breakfast. Coffee is self-service. I ordered the breakfast special of eggs, toast, hash browns, and bacon. The food was served lukewarm. I had to search for the bacon that seemed to be a single slice cut up into very small pieces and blended into the potatoes. It's a nice atmosphere, and they had a pretty good crowd for a Sunday morning. I'll be back, but I just think if they tried a little harder on the food service, it would help.
The drinks are lovely, if not a bit over-sweet. I gave 3-4 stars because they offer gluten free bread, but not in a separate prep area, so we're taking our chance for cross contamination. It's early, and summer so not crowded. Order at register, and they will bring to your table. Service was nice.
Would give 3.5 stars if I could. Stopped in for lunch while passing through town. The pesto chicken melt was fantastic and fries and coffee were good. The crispy chicken sandwich was mediocre, tasted like cafeteria food. Service was quick and pretty good. When she asked what sides we want, she listed a side salad as an option and the price wasn’t shown on the menu so we didn’t realize this would be extra. We were upcharged for the other side compared to menu prices, but maybe she just put the order in the system weird.
Smashburger was good, a bit messy as you’d expect. The fries we both received were undercooked, limp, and oily. Could not eat them (that’s a first). Seemed like quality fries if they would have been cooked correctly. Fried chicken sandwich was a processed patty, very disappointing for the price. They should check on you shortly after you receive food. Restaurant was not busy. Coffee drinks were good!
My wife and I had a late breakfast at Crickets Monday at 1PM. Everything about Crickets is Ok. Dining room is clean and no frills. Orders are done at the counter and then you seat yourself. Counter person was nice, but all business. Food came out in less than 15 minutes. My wife had Bagel and Eggs. I had what Crickets called the “BIG Breakfast.” which was listed as: Two-Eggs, Hash Browns, Toast with a choice of Bacon, Sausage or Ham And Two Pancakes. Food tasted fine but this was not a “BIG” Breakfast by any standards. Two over-easy Eggs, Cubed Hash browns, one sausage, were fine, but only ONE slice of Toast AND ONLY ONE Pancake when TWO Pancakes were clearly listed. Now, the “pancake” tasted fine but it looked more like Waffle without squares. My wife said it was “weird looking..It was so puffy like a waffle, we wondered if it was two pancakes smushed together? I did bother to ask register person who taken my order why my order only had one pancake instead of two. Register person said she “did not know” and that was it, leaving me hanging. Not really a big deal, but they was no effort to follow up or apologize. I didn’t bother to bring up the one slice of Toast and Sausage. Overall, I’d say 3 stars as it’s in the middle. Not the worst or the Best. A simple follow up of my missing pancake, and making and me feel more welcome would have gone a long way to make this rating higher. Partly why I am writing a review is the hope that Crickets can read this and help make their food place better! I would come back then.
While the food at was undeniably delicious, my overall experience was unfortunately tainted by several interactions with the staff. Despite enjoying our meal, I was a bit put off that I was carded twice- just seemed unnecessary to have to show ID each time you order a drink. Additionally, while the policy of cleaning up after oneself is understandable, the manner in which we were reminded of the closing time and chased down at the door for leaving behind 2 champagne glasses left a sour taste (we honestly forgot and had picked up our plates and other glasses already). Ultimately, while the food was great, the treatment received makes me hesitant to return.
Ordered two items and only received one, with no utensils. Out of the 4 people at our table, three of us on separate occasions asked for utensils to be told they were “coming right out” we ended waiting over ten minutes for a fork; and that was because one in our party got it from another table. After Waiting for an additional 15 minutes, I asked for the other half of my order. They apologized and brought it out, but they gave me an item I asked to be removed due to dietary restrictions.
The food was really good and the price reasonable. We probably would not visit again. The service was rather lacking through the ordering process and when we asked for ketchup for our burger we were shown where the bottles of ketchup were and told we could get it ourselves. Like it was too much for the server to take the time to do it. Not that I'm not capable of getting a bottle of ketchup, it was the disregard for quality service that caused the two stars.
Waited over 2 hours for our food, when we were told it was a 45 minute wait. Overall the food isn’t worth that long of a wait and every time I’ve been here the girls working aren’t friendly.
I've had good experiences (decent food and drink) before but today I went in and the owner was berating a clearly new, inexperienced worker, very loudly in front of many customers. It felt unwarranted and overboard, especially when she left the counter to continue yelling at the employee in the back. Nobody in line cared that the girl was making a mistake and there was no reason to be that rude in front of so many people.
Last time I was here they had really good breakfast sandwiches. This time I got an egg patty that seemed to be hard boiled? It was a third of the size of the croissant it was on. Ate the croissant but not the weird egg. Get the coffee, avoid the food.
Ordered the Classic Breakfast, eggs felt like they came from a carton and tasted like nothing. Bacon felt like it came from one of those boxes at the grocery store where you don’t have to refrigerate it (not a good thing). The potatoes were incredible, but I only had 18 pieces on my plate (I was very sad). I wish it came with more food, and higher quality food. :(
Please re-train your noon time barista on Tuesdays to pull an espresso shot. The raspberry strawberry cold foam barely has any flavor. Needs another pump of syrup for both. And more mocha. I swear I BARELY had a fingernails worth of "mocha" at the bottom of the cup. It wasn't mixed in either. What a missed opportunity to swirl it on the side, customers love that! Or what about a strawberry syrup swirl on the side, or both? Not happy paying 7 and change for the meh 😑 drink I got. So many missed opportunities. Barista looked like I was bothering her and didn't smile once. Didn't even want to stay.
When we walked in we were greeted by a long, awkward stare from the staff, not the best first impression. Staff was overall unenthusiastic, unhelpful, and inhospitable. Food wasn’t bad but just flat out mediocre. My friend’s soup came out cold, and when we politely asked the waitress to warm it up she mumbled something and disappeared for a mysteriously long time. When she returned the soup probably temped at least 200 degrees. My friend never was able to eat it due to it never cooling down enough, but also what can I say we did ask her to heat it up and you can’t fault someone for following directions. The atmosphere was overall weirdly uncomfortable and we definitely won’t be back but maybe others have a better experience here.
The ultimate millennial experience. Order at the counter, seat yourself, get your own coffee and mug, bus your own table and and leave us alone boomer/ Gen Xer. Oh, but leave a tip!
So much potential for good food with quality ingredients, but very disappointing. Others had a great experience with coffee orders and entrees, but my brunch burger was very disappointing. The burger meat, toppings and egg were cooked perfectly. The bun was excellent quality wheat bun, but the bottom was stale and brittle like a rice cake (perhaps it was old or left on top of a hot surface). The bacon was good quality, but it was burnt and brittle. The fries were stale minutes after being served. It really seemed to me that 2/3 of them were reheated. I did not eat them. I am sure someone could have come in immediately after me and ordered the exact same thing and had an excellent meal.
Crickets has the kind of location and layout that makes you think, “This could be my spot!” And then the staff reminds you, it is not. The staff has a signature energy that can best be described as mildly annoyed and backed by the GenZ stare - the look of apathy - while you decide what to order. Today we were told that we could only order takeout because they close at 2pm and it was…1:20pm. *gasp* As for the food and coffee: they’re both aggressively mediocre. Not offensively bad, just flat, forgettable, and oddly expensive for how little quality it delivers. You leave thinking, “I could’ve made something better at home,” which is not the emotional arc I’m looking for when I’m paying someone else to make my food. Here’s the thing: none of this feels impossible to fix. Location and layout is great, Step up the beverages, tighten up the food (quality of ingredients and care put into making dishes), and please—someone give the front-of-house a morale boost, a reset, a manager chat, a group hug, a prozac, something. Because this spot should be an EASY 10/10.. Right now it’s just a great address attached to an underwhelming experience. Crickets’ facelift should deliver: ~ Excellent coffee drinks (consistently!) ~ High quality, organic-leaning menu with food that is actually good food ~ Barista grade, CREAMY, non-dairy milks ~ WARM and well-trained staff. Friendly, efficient, and professional There is hope! But they have their work cut out for them.
Ordered a bagel and was given a number to wait. I had to wait 20 minutes... for a bagel. There was nothing on it but was charged for having a spread on it. They need to add an option for just a bagel because $4.10 is stupid expensive for a bagel by itself.
Been there a few times. Food is good. They told us they were behind and it will take about 45 minutes. Not that busy inside. We told them no problem, had some coffee. It took them two hours before we got the food and than they forgot one of our dishes and had to ask for it. Plus we gave them a nice tip when we paid and than we have to clean up the table.
We went here for the first time on a Sat morning around 11 and it was pretty busy so they said it would be about 25 minutes to get our food. No problem. We got a piece of crumb cake to share in the meantime and waited. And waited. After almost an hour and we saw people who came in after us getting their food, we asked a worker to check on our order. She apologized and said they had lost our order and it was never made. We got a refund and left. Not sure if we will try again. There is at least plenty of seating and relatively clean. The garbage was starting to overflow but we didn’t stay any longer to see how that worked out.
Lady w/ dark hair and glasses was super rude to me and customer just after me. It goes a long way to greet a customer w/ a hello instead of what do you want..
Got the, “Classic Breakfast” and I severly disappointed. Food not warm, especially from a Diner??! Eggs (ordered scrambled ), were rigid and structured?? Overcooked and scraped off pan indefinitely. Hash browns tasted like an idea of what potatoes could taste like, actually nasty. Bacon was a solid 2/10 - not too sure how that came around. The only good things were the OJ and handle on the door
Didn’t get my toast. Asked for eggs over easy, got eggs hard, tried to tell me I asked for over medium! She asked if I wanted to send it back, like I was putting her out… why so they could spit in it? If the cook doesn’t know the difference, it wouldn’t have mattered! The scrambled eggs are fake! Terrible!!
I was really upset with my experience at cricket. I was expecting to have a server and I didn’t. I payed 3 dollars for a coke that tasted unsweetened. I had to wait 15 minutes longer for my food than the people who ordered directly before me. The food tasted like cafeteria food to me. Really upset with it
Waited an hour and a half for a simple breakfast sandwich and when it came out it was missing the avocado. NEVER coming here again. The waiter didn’t even say “sorry for the LONG wait.” Also side note, no napkins or silverware at the table.
When tonight with my heart set on potato soup they didn't have it today. So I got the loaded fries hard cold and just not good at all. I'm gonna give it a second chance on a say they have the soup. But my boyfriend were very disappointed.
Came in today for lunch with my family and ordered a couple things for dine-in. I ordered the classic breakfast special and a short stack for my kid. My eggs were fine, however the other three items on my plate were inedible. Toast was served with no butter and was dry and partially burnt. Hash browns were so salty and were cooked in what tasted like rancid oil. the bacon tasted really off like it could have been bad. My kids pancakes were served with no syrup and was told they didn’t have syrup after we ordered, paid and sat down for 10 minutes. I would have ordered something else if I was told otherwise… After food was handed to us the waiter found some syrup 15-20 minutes later and my kid lost interest in eating after being served bland pancakes that turned cold. I wouldn’t recommend this cafe.
Google says they're open until late so we went in for coffee, We were unaware that the coffee side closed at 5, when we got there a few minutes after 5. So The blonde barista told us we only had cold brew or iced coffee as an option, she was very rude in general. I asked for an iced coffee and she rang in a cold brew and i asked why it said that instead of an iced coffee. She scoffed at me and told me they were the same thing … she was very disrespectful. It Would be helpful if you made the cafe hours more clear for guests driving through looking for coffee
Stopped on our way thru - it’ said Caffe, kitchen and cocktails so we thought to give it a try with our little ones - it looked awesome from the outside - our fries were burnt and greasy, the chicken sandwich tasted as if it was thrown in the microwave and well - the barista part was closed and to top it in, our water we were given had bugs in it…. Left quite the after taste in the mouth as well….not what was expected and quite expensive for the quality. Oh, and to top it off, I have 2 littles with crummy tummies and mine isn’t feeling well either…….
Extremely unfriendly staff! My shaken espresso was filled up almost to the top with ice and cost me 8 Dollars!
Came here for the first time yesterday with a small group and was very disappointed. When we approached the front to order we were told food would be a 25 minute wait. That was fine, since we were planning to chat and catch up anyways. An hour later, and people who came in after us are getting their food so we approach the front and ask about ours. They go to the back and check and then tell us that the food is coming right out. They couldn't find the boneless wings to cook them. Apparently what that meant was that instead of telling us or anything, they cooked the food for the people with me, let it sit for a half hour and get cold, and then offered an insincere apology about how they just couldn't find the boneless wings..? They managed to find the wings, all six of them, and started cooking them. My companions ate their cold food, I got some old, cold fries to munch on, and then I got my boneless wings 20 minutes later. Will not return.
Was there the Thanksgiving season before last and a guy came in and told the person behind the counter he was glad they were open. The person behind the counter went on about how they "don't believe in that" and espousing some pretty closed minded hateful views about liberals. I just want food but I really don't want to hear your political hate while I eat. Separate time we went there the food was fine, but I ordered tea. Plain regular black tea. I didn't realize a refill would be a full price drink lol. Yes I'm from the south, but how on earth is 2 teabags and some water worth $8??? Both times the service was inattentive, ignoring customers even though they were not busy, and it's just a very unwelcoming place. It's disappointing because it looks like somewhere you'd want to hang out more often, but trying it once a year three years in a row, every visit it below lackluster.
So this was our 1st time walking into this place. We were there about 2. There was 2 other couples inside. Staff were standing around doing nothing. We were not greeted when entering. Seen the manu and started looking at it and sat ourselves. Still heard nothing from anyone. Once we figured out our food we walked up and asked about getting food. We ordered a cheese wrap and a chicken sandwich with mayo and lettuce. I repeated just lettuce and mayo. We asked for the garlic wings to come out 1st. The girl said ok. We had to pay and tip before getting our food. 1st drink was a lemonade (it was just sugar water with a hint of lemon) i returned it and asked for a vanilla Chi. She did not ask me hot or cold. I didn't even think about it because she took off. Since it is winter you would think hot would come. Nope a watered down ice chi came. I took it up to the counter and asked if I could have it hot. They made me a hot one with no vanilla. At this time I did not have high expatations for the meal. People came after us in were getting their order as we waited. As we waited we heard the all staff in the kitchen swearing. Which was a big turn off. The wings came out with all our food after a long wait. They had a good taste but they were over cooked. The French Fries were string fries and soggy. The Chicken sandwich was lacking on mayo and the sandwich had spinach not lettuce. Not what I asked for. I asked the girl that took the order about the lettuce. She was snotty to me and said we don't have lettuce. I asked her why she didn't tell me that when i placed the order with her. I asked for more mayo and she went back to the kitchen yell and bitching to the other staff about me. The whole dining room heard everything. My date did not like the FF and her wrap came out as a grilled cheese sandwich. I wasn't going to touch that mayo that she came out with after that. We will never go back. $40 for 2 sandwiches and a drink. Added note we both had loose stools after.
