We split a dish of ravioli in a meat sauce to start and mopped up every bit of the ragu with bread. My wife opted for a steak in a green peppercorn cream sauce as her main. Excellent piece of meat; perfectly cooked; tasty sauce that nicely complemented the meat. I went for the daily Ligurian-style fish fillet - also very tasty - and the side order of French fries we had worked well with both mains. The best, however, was dessert. We got a slice of chocolate cake with a hazelnut crust on the bottom and an order of gelato. I am fantasizing about that dessert days later. Service was friendly and professional. The dining room is pleasant. All in all, Raibetta is place to consider if you're in Genoa.

This is a very good and authentic Italian restaurant. We suggest eating the local and famous dishes such as the Pesto Genovese. Note: there is an extra sitting fee for each one who eats, as custom in Italy

Excellent food Awesome authentic Italian food. It is a little hard to find but using Google Maps we found it. Food is excellent and rich in ingredients. Nice calm environment and friendly staff. Very warm and cozy environment. We didn't try the wine. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth the visit

Great little find in one of the small alleyways in Genoa. We had the Troffiete con Pesto, which was delicious. The tiramisu was also really nice. English is limited here so just be careful. The menu is only in Italian. We muddled through though. Where would you be without Google?

Wonderful food and great service. The ravioloni with hazelnut and pear sauce are so dreamy, and the tartare is perfectly prepared with just the right amount of salt, oil, and beautifully caramelised pickled onions. Complimenti allo chef!

I read a review about this restaurant before going on a short trip to Genoa and thought it was worth a visit. It was a lovely walk down the Via San Lorenzo to this restaurant, and we found it at the seafront end located down a narrow alleyway. The food was excellent. My sister had steak and I had Fritto Misto which tasted fresh and light, not oily at all. BUT the dessert is the thing which I will rave over. The mint Pannacotta with dark chocolate sauce, IT WAS THE BEST DESSERT I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! So we had two each. The service was friendly and good, not overly attentive and there was a casual cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for the Pannacotta alone.

I titolari sono simpatici, gentili e disponibili. L'offerta è basica, anche a causa delle dimensioni ridotte del chiosco, ma va più che bene così. La vista è su palazzo San Giorgio e il suo angolo caratteristico della piazza. Frequentato da gente di tutti i tipi.

Very nice place, gentle personel. Very delicious regional dishes, like trenette and testaroli. Excellent pesto. Also delicious dessert, panna cotta with mint and dark chocolate and “bianco mangiare”. A bit costly respect to others restaurants.

Good local trattoria (not fine dining obviously): the decor is fairly charming in this small restaurant close to the old port of Genoa. The trenette and the trofiette, both hand made, deliver on what they promise and the pesto is creamy, tasty, with just a hint of garlic, definitely one of the best I've tasted. The fritto was ok: very well cooked (no gummy calamari) but the batter was too thick and somewhat lumpy. Most likely it suffered a bit of heat in the kitchen which caused the batter to thicken. Good quality-price ratio.

Ligurian cuisine, but average quality of the food - the ravioli I had were not the genovese ones I am used to for more than 50 years, also the ragu that came with them. The quiches (torte) we had for antipasto were good, but the rest was somehow in the medium quality level. Not something to repeat looking at the vast choice of restaurants in Genova. It took very long for the orders to arrive, maybe because they had some tables withany guests, but that should not be an excuse.It simply means that they have too many posts to serve and too few people in the kitchen and to serve the food.

The pesto pasta were good. But the price is not okay. They charge for the coperto 2,50 each so in the end your pasta don’t cost 13€, they cost 15,50€. Don’t recommend, not happy about my experience. Staff is not friendly either
