It is so relaxing being inside with the calm music and nice staff. Food was on another level, just fantastic. Definitely recommend queso birria tacos, chicken chipotle platter, and the steak fajita tacos. Even the tortilla chips were delicious at the start of the meal.
Super nice little diner with fantastic tacos. Great service and atmosphere! I had the Barbacoa tacos and Papas Locos. Both are amazing. The crazy potatoes are crispy potatoes filled with steak or chicken and cheese.
Fantastic mexican! Fajitas (meat only as requested) were very flavorful, margarita was perfect.
My husband and I just popped in for a quick lunch here. Great atmosphere, it smelled amazing in there as soon as we asked in the door, and a very friendly staff. I ordered the stuffed avocado plate and he ordered the lunch enchiladas plate, they were both delicious! We will definitely be coming back when we're in town again.
Good food & service BUT they over charged my topo chico. I ordered topo chico with a splash of cranberry. I didnt get the whole of bottle of topo. They charged for a Virgin Margarita $6.95!!!! How does that make sense?
My daughter insisted we try this place, and I’m glad she did because I was not disappointed. We started with the chips and salsa — both were fresh and absolutely phenomenal. My daughter ordered the cheese quesadillas, and I had the Carne Guisada: tender stewed beef in a rich, thick gravy with warm tortillas that truly hit the spot. The lunch specials were generous and satisfying. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive. The restaurant itself was exceptionally clean and had a welcoming, family‑friendly atmosphere. Overall, a great experience for anyone looking for good food and good service.
Glad I found this restaurant. Traveling in from Houston always looking for a good mexican restaurant. This was awesome food, service, and atmosphere. Fajita enchiladas and charro beans were delicious.
We ate there for the first time last week. But it won’t be the last time we eat there. Reasonable prices. GREAT food and very friendly attentive people work there. As far as my wife and I are concerned. It’s the best Mexican food in the Georgetown, TX
What a wonderful surprise! The chile verde was great but I would ask for the tacos tortillas instead of the corn tortillas! The fancy martini was DELICIOUS! They have a daily lunch menu and street tacos were very tasty! Small place but has a lot of flavor! No pictures this time everything was devoured!
I love the crispy tacos and chili Relleno. . They updated the menu and I was disappointed they removed the taco from the relleno dinner and replaced it with flour or corn tortillas. The restaurant is clean and the food is always hot and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We asked for a modification for allergies, the server and cooks took care of it no problem, not a bit of contamination. When the server wasn't sure about an a la carte request, she asked, and the management was able to accommodate- absolutely perfect imo. The food was delicious, would definitely go here again. I can see why my friends come here!
Our New Favorite Spot! Fast, Friendly, and Delicious. Marisol's Mexican Grill is wonderful! We love the delicious food, but the service is what really stands out as amazing. Our server, Lorena, is consistently super nice and incredibly fast with everything. We genuinely enjoy every visit. Highly recommend this spot!
My go-to for great Mexican food in Georgetown. There's no tampering with tried and true tastes. The atmosphere is pleasant, clean and casual. Highly recommend!
Hidden gem! The charro beans were amazing and the beef fajitas were on point. Service was outstanding, and the food felt truly authentic. The guava margarita was delicious, but the strawberry one definitely stole the show! So glad I found my new go-to Mexican restaurant here in Georgetown.
First time here and I definitely will return! Starting with the salsa they give you mild and warm, tried both and stayed with the mild.. ordered the chicken mole enchiladas and they were delicious! The mole sauce was delicious, and of course rice and beans. You have the option of 2 enchiladas or 3, I chose 2. We were the first customers of the day @ 11:30, and it filled up quickly. Definitely a must try!
Great Mexican place in Georgetown. Chips and table salsa are both good. Good thickness on the chips to hold up to dipping. Salsa flavorful and the texture I like. Started with the Classic Chile con Queso and the Bean and Cheese nachos. They used the same chips which worked great holding all the toppings. Having guac, sour cream and jalapeños was a nice addition. Entrees were Street Tacos from the appetizer menu and Enchiladas Deluxe. Street tacos were flavorful with a good mix of cilantro and a wonderful creamy green sauce. Enchiladas were very good with a great base sauce. Beans and rice were well done as well. Overall a great meal. Good service from both our server and the rest of the crew. Will definitely be adding this our list for dining in Georgetown.
Little Mexican place with great ambiance in Georgetown . Went here on a Friday evening and it was pretty full, plenty of parking though which is convenient . Chips came out first and they were fresh and they provided both mold and spicy salsas and loved the spicy one ! Ordered Cadillac margarita which was decent , Jamaica drink was a bit too sweet and watered down to our liking . Our main dish came out pretty quick afterwards - chicken (pollo) chipotle and street mini tacos . The tacos were great and the green sauce that goes with it was delish ! The chicken chipotle was good in terms of spice level . Chicken itself was a bit overcooked and was chewy towards the end as they were breast pieces . Overall, was a good experience although not great, and would go here again
The food was very tasty. Service was very good. The 2 salsas were excellent. The margarita was bad. It was sugar water with a hint of flavor. And way overpriced. I will come again cuz a place deserves a second chance.
We went to Marisol's for lunch on a Thursday. We were seated right away, although they were fairly busy. The chips were disappointing. They were similar to the mass-produced tortilla chips you get in a bag at a grocery store. But the salsa was very good! Great flavor and just the right amount of spice. The same goes for the main courses we tried. Fresh and flavorful. Although we did not get the chili con queso on the chimichanga, the enchiladas on the other plates had just the right amount of sauce over the top. Not so much as to drown the plate, but enough to compliment and not overpower the enchilada filing. Just FYI.... if you ask for more lettuce or tomatoes, there's an extra charge for each. We really enjoyed our meal! This place is unassuming on the outside. Looks like just another strip mall restaurant. But don't be fooled.... this is a great place to get fresh and authentic Mexican food. Give it a try!
Food was good enough for a Mexican style restaurant. Nothing outstanding. A bit pricey when compared to other similar spots. The restaurant does have a lot of rules they present to you on your menu. It does come off pretty rude when reading all the rules and demands of the restaurant at the bottom of the menu. Atmosphere was above average. The decorating and theme was very pleasant to socialize in.
BEAUTIFUL Atmosphere. Our visit started out well, we were greeted and seated quickly. Our server was really sweet. We got the chori queso (the Monterrey melted in the skillet with chorizo) and it was FANTASTIC. The only problem was, there was a piece of mushroom in it which should not have been there, and my wife is allergic to them. She was able to get to her medicine in time though, and was fine. The server offered to get the manager to do something about it, but we told her it was okay, and we weren't looking for a discount or anything, we just want the manager to tell the chefs to be more careful. Then all the trouble started. The shrimp "fajitas for two" which costs nearly $45, were half the size and half the shrimp of a normal Mexican restaurants fajitas for one. Photo below for reference is what you get for $45. I complained to her about that, and she apologized, but after that, we didn't see her again until our food was almost gone. She did eventually come back and refill my drink and asked my wife if she wanted another bottled coke, but we were almost finished. I never received my tortillas, but by that time, I didn't bother saying anything. The fajitas were the blandest, least flavorful fajitas I've ever had, but my wife liked her shrimp cocktail. This restaurant has promise, but it's definitely not someplace I will ever return to to if you're going to rip off your customers and charge $45 for fajitas that barely felt like an appetizer. The queso was more filling. Also my wife got twice the amount of shrimp in her cocktail that I got in my fajitas which costed twice as much. Get it together y'all.
I had take out, a burrito carne asada. The burrito barely had any meat in it or any of the ingredients listed in the description. It was only filled with beans and then topped with red sauce and cheese. I already had beans and rice on the side so im not sure why so many beans were inside the burrito. Out of the 10 pieces of meat i had about half of them were chewy and poor quality. The rice and beans were decent flavor wise. We also had the verde chicken enchiladas which was very dry. Definitely needed more sauce however they were generous with the chicken and flavor wise it was decent. I dont think the quality was worth the money.
Hi so me and my wife go eat there at least 2 or 3 times a week. Today we went to eat there and the service was very bad the lady that served us was very rude and apparently she was the manigger. My wife's food tasted very bad so she sent it back. The lady took the food, never said a word. Never came back to our table. I needed napkins and my wife had to get-up-and-go get me some from the front. So we got ready to leave. I talked to the lady. And she started making excuses and said that I would always come in there and was very picky about my order and change my order up, and that's why they was the way they was to me.\n She was a very, very bad waitress. /, manager, whatever she was and very rude. We will never go back there again. And it's unfortunate because the other times we've been there. It was a pretty good meal.
Ordered through UBER eats and it took almost an hour to get my food. I ordered the mini street tacos and the avocado on top was mostly black and one of the slices still had part of the skin on it. The salsa tasted like watered down tomato paste. Chose this place based upon the reviews but it definitely didn’t live up to them.
