I always enjoy going to Sonic. There's just something about the drive-in experience that makes it fun. This one is a little challenging to get into from the northbound side of Austin Avenue for the first-timer (have to make an unprotected left turn at a traffic light and turn into a driveway behind Georgetown Liquors), but once you figure it out, no problem.

Five stars is not about the food.. Food is ok,, but I mean, if you go over sonic you know how the food will test, even if is your first time at this place. Anyway, Five stars is for the service provided by Eli, she took care on my order, but she did it great, if you say "she is a waitress only" ok, but she went beyond, she is doing what she does with passion...

Fast friendly cheap but yummy food. My favorite location in Georgetown have never had a problem. Definitely recommend for a quick bite or pick up for the family.

Hands down best hamburger in Georgetown. The management is fantastic. The staff is amazing. Burgers are fresh off the grill and too hot to eat. Tots are scalding hot in the bag. I can't say enough good things about this Sonic.

The facility is clean, the staff is friendly and fast. The chicken fried steak sandwich is so worth it. I really enjoyed the vanilla drpepper with lime too. So going back. Smiles

I always love going to this place. Not only is it close ans convenient to my house but the beverages and (some) of the food is great! I especially love the vanilla cokes they make. Excellent service by the way!

I love this Sonic. They are quick, always get my order right, never forget any asked for sauces and don't blink when I ask if they can my son his meal instead of me. They were even patient with me when my debit card went screwy and didn't want to work.

Sonic food and drinks are always good, but I want to give special props to one of their supervisors who went out to try and help a lady who's car had broken down across from the location. When you put a good guy like that and combine it with good food and drinks and good service, you get a place that you will always want to stop by!

I go here about every other day and this place doesn't mess around. You pull up put in your order and some pretty little girl has your cheeseburger in 5 mins. I have never had a bad experience here and I get what I order every single time. Not once have I had to send something back or they get my order wrong.

Their customer service is on point!!!! Their food is great and it looks like they actually care about their customers. Ive gone to other sonics (in love with their onion rings) and THIS particular location is the BEST!! Onion rings are alwys perfectly made. The timing from when u put in the order is perfect! Unless of course every lot is full but either way, they sometimes jog their way to you! Love it! I live in Manor now and I miss the Sonic on Austin ave in gtown! 😩😩 Keep it up guys!

Service is always great and the food is fresh. I can't recall ever having any mistakes made on my orders, aside from an occasional forgotten condiment. Even then, the carhops are quick to run out whatever I need.

Staff is super friendly and fast. The food is consistent with other Sonic restaurants but I don't go for the food. I go for the Blizzard! The Blizzard is way better than anything DQ has. Don't forget you have to ask for whipped topping now.

Stopped in during my lunch break. First time visiting this location. Probably the best sonic I have ever been to. Service was great from beginning to end. Very polite taking my order and carhop was polite and respectful as well. Very hard to come by at the Sonic's near my house in Austin.

Good Sonic experience today. Had the supersonic jalapeno cheeseburger which was delicious with great onion rings perfectly cooked. Very friendly sweet waitress it took good care of me. Large facility for multiple cars. Bigger than most Sonics.

All the carhops are awesome and quick. Tracy & Katie are the best ever and always so polite. I go in the mornings and service is always quick and friendly. Now I just need to be able to tip via debit/credit cards and it would be perfect. ❤️

Been out all day and was ready for something cold to drink. Got a route 44 ocean water, so good! Tastes like coconut flavored soda, blue and lots of ice, perfect!

The Georgetown sonic staff are the best! We work out of town and stop there every morning for coffee and food. Our food is always perfect and our coffees are amazing. The staff gets us on the road fast, they are always hustling, I swear they never walk. Wether you've been there a hundred times or it's your first trip, they treat you like a VIP.

Me and my family love going to Sonic (usually for happy hour), but of all of the Sonics we've ever been to even when traveling, This Sonic is the best there is. I don't know what it is they do differently, but starting from the really kind service staff who are almost always giving it 100% and still wearing a smile during the rush, to the quality of the the food and drinks. I can't remember ever having a bad experience here and I will even drive from Round Rock or other cities that have Sonics just to come to this one because I know I'll get my money's worth. Keep it up.

The servers were great! Especially Kennedy! Did you know their management makes them run back after delivering food. I'm not sure how I feel about that but I guess they are young. I had to tip cause they did such a great job!!

I have used Sonic since they were built in Germany. To Me they and their employees are the best in Texas. Plus they have the best food of any Sonic in Texas. Keep up the good work.

This place may be the most consistently good fast food I’ve ever had in my life. 5 or 6 visits without a single issue. The employees are always friendly. The food is always quickly and perfectly made (even with special orders every time). This is now my go-to fast food joint in Georgetown and I used to say I don’t even like Sonic. Keep up the good work!!

I just wanted to say, I visit this location a lot and just went on sept 27 between 3-3:30pm. I was met by the most friendly worker! Ms. Oblivious was doing an errand when hunger hit. I know it’s an unusual time so thought nothing of me being the only car in the stalls. I pulled into the mobile order bay as I was going to jump on the app and peruse my options when this man politely approached asking if I had been helped. I thought strange since I was in the mobile app bay, but just let him know I was about to order on the app. He explained the systems crashed and I asked if I should move to a bay with a screen. He said those aren’t working either but if I have cash, he can help me as their card machines are also down. His service was exceptional, especially these days when normally people are grouchy. In fact, most times I visit, I get the same car hop who doesn’t smile, doesn’t say hello, doesn’t review my order, just shoves me my food and walks off before I can say thank you. I get it, they’re usually young and customer service sucks but you should still give common courtesy and meet a level of expectations. So, thanks to the guy working today. You were so pleasant and made my day!

Georgetown sonic is ALWAYS packed but every time I have gone there the food is super fresh and the staff is always so nice. They always bring a treat for my Great Dane Riley and are not pushy like at other Sonics I’ve been to. It can be a wait some times but it’s totally worth it. AND if you get the sonic app you can pre order your food and/or drinks plus all drinks order through the app are happy hour price all the time and they give you promos for free items it’s a win win. Get the app it’s a must even if your not going to my sonic 😄

This is by far the best Sonic that I've been to in awhile. The staff is fast and friendly. Condiments are always offered and I don't have to wait for them to go back inside to get them. Food is always fresh and tastes great. They don't cinch on the amount of tater tots they give. Restrooms are always clean. This Sonic is on top of their game!!

Went by and got a breakfast sandwich, with sausage, and tater tots for my side. Service was good and food was piping hot, especially the coffee. Sandwich was good and the tater tots didn't taste like they were cooked in the oil from the night before.

The service was friendly and they were quick in getting our food out to us. However I got a milkshake that was horrible! It tasted like the milk had soured or it was made from buttermilk!! I ended up throwing it away. The rest of the order was very good.

Good food services usually grate. I got yelled at while ordering because I can't read or speak fast enough. Felt discrimination just for being physically slow talking speach problems. But still grate place for food.

I really love this sonic, it does so good compared to every other sonic I’ve been to. (They suuuuck) I grew up with this one and I have never had an issue. I just really wish they would ask if we want mints or need anything else when they serve their order like they used to, but yeah, overall the service is super fast and the food is pretty damn good.

Needed to know which drink was which and Carhop: Destiny told me “i don’t make the drinks I just bring them out” Think yall should label them to let them be aware since they aren’t … because for allergies that is important!!! I am not someone who does conflict personally. Had to throw away drinks.

I find the food to be too greasy. The coney's are good. Their drinks are wonderful. Anything you could think of can be made.

Food is predictably Sonic. They make it as well as one would expect. Here's where they lose stars, though... They employ mostly high school kids (I hope for their sake that's what's happening). So their order accuracy leaves a lot to be desired. I've been going here for six years and never gone home with the right order. Without fail they screw something up. Every. Time.

The music was a bit loud for the means of communication required, and the order was not repeated so there were minor flaws in what we received. The drinks we did receive were still good and timely.

Last three times I have ordered thru the app, at this location, I've offered extra stuff in drinks, nerds candy, strawberries and so forth, paid for it, yet I don't get it,

Actually, this is an average Sonic. Usually menu and offering. This is a good place for lunch.

Food is good. Staff is friendly. They do need to work on "dressing" burgers, burritos, etc for "evening. Most of the time, I have to spread my toppings out so I don't get all the pickles in one bit or rewrap my burrito so all the topping are actually inside tortilla. Not huge issue, but an easy fix.

Over the past few years this locations food quality has gone down. Since they fry fish in the same grease as french fries and other food we are no longer able to go there because of allergies. Better than the last time we came here which has been over a year.

Be careful of their signs if you park there. They swing with the wind. We pulled into a spot and as we ate the sign was blown into a different position destroying my Sideview mirror. Spots are too tight and not properly maintained. A quick lunch turned into 300 bucks for me!!

The Sonic is in need of renovation it's also in a really bad location because they're doing construction on the bridge and it's hard to get in and get out of it but it's Sonic just need some love and hopefully when they fix the bridge to access the easier

I give them a 3 due to I requested my hamburger bun to be toasted on both sides. They replaced it with toasted bread, which I did not ask for. Why would I want toasted bread on my hamburger? I didn't send it back because I was in a hurry for my appointment and didn't check it before I left. Also, the server took off so fast that I was not able to get ketchup from her, and she didn't offer it to me. Usually their are very efficient but this is the 2nd time they mess up my hamburger.

Overpriced , short tempered employees. Everything is cooked in oil on a grill or deep fried.

Have to update my review, went there today and the person working the speaker must have been new. They had no idea what a cream slush was and when I told them to ask for help figuring it out they still did not make it correctly. Also their real strawberry limeade tasted terrible. It was either bad strawberry or not enough lime or both.

This Sonic in Georgetown use to be the best place around to get a good burger. Present day not so much! Now they don't care about quality it's all about quantity! My burger was soggy with mayo and had no taste! They lasted a long time! So sad!

Ordered the grilled cheeseburger. Bread tasted stale, meat was flat and tasteless. I use to love Sonic. Now will just get drinks.

Ordered one med.one lg milkshake and a small cup of ice cream. Tried to pay with my debit card didn't take it, the girl came out with two med. Shakes and a small cup of ice cream stating that's what I ordered. I corrected her. Paid for the two med. Shakes and ice cream and left. The parking spots do not allow for trucks with tow mirrors. And doesn't have a drive thru..

While they corrected the drink order they messed up, they came off condescending the entire time. To make things worse they messed my food up even though I repeated it back 3 times. The one on Williams will give you a much better experience.

Service was good but I can't justify giving anymore stars because product was disappointing. $5 for a small Reese's Blast and it was all ice cream, barely a sprinkle of pb cups dust. $5 for a small vanila ice cream seems a bit much. People come for the Blasts because of the mix-ins and when there isn't much there it really isn't worth it.

Well I've had relatively good experience with this location. But today ranks right up there with typical McDonald's service. Cold hot dogs. Cold tots. Considering it's always been one of the more expensive fast food places and it's only gone up in price. Do yourself a favor and go down the road to hat creek.

The service was good but The burger is just not the same anymore. The new pickles they use are gross, It throws off the whole Burger. The burger patties are not even cooked the same .. it’s kinda like eating a soggy burger Or a Burger King burger. They changed their fries to crinkle fries , i also think that was a very bad decision.

This location isn’t giving the best quality food it used to. The time before I went this time, the burger was extremely greasy and way over salted, I got through 1/4 of it and gave up. The fries weren’t cooked all the way through. This time I ordered a couple bacon, egg and cheese burritos. I’m not sure if they are u see new management but their burritos have changed for the worse. The eggs have a grey tinge to them, the bacon isn’t crispy like it used to be, and the portion size has gotten much smaller. The prices remain the same though. I come here maybe once a month, I usually order burritos, at any time of the day morning or afternoon, this is a consistent change or the course of the last 6 month. Service is great, I gave it a low rating because every menu speaker cuts out and has static, making it difficult to order, I’m sure it’s probably frustrating for your employees as well.

I have not been to Sonic in several years but went today because they were nearby. I placed my order: A hamburger with no ketchup, mustard, or onions but please add mayonaise. The person on the speaker asked me to repeat this. I did and she still messed it up. I received my burger with . . . onions! Alerted them on the speaker and it took me shouting very loudly for them to hear me. The replacement burger was OK but not as good as they used to be so this will be my last visit to Sonic.

When did it become customary for employees to ask if you wanted your change? I find this not only rude, but unprofessional as well. This has happened twice now, by the same employee.

WARNING: DO NOT USE SONIC APP!!!!!! Sonic advertises Sonic app then Sonic is still represented regardless if not associated!! I've had nothing but trouble since the beginning with it. First, minimum dollar amount is $20 into the application. Second, if you have any issues with the app, the store denies any responsibility for the application and you have to contact app support. Third, the application is linked to your bank or credit card. Meaning, if you have an available balance in the app and use the app to place an order, the application WILL DEBIT/CHARGE THE CARD YOU HAVE ON FILE and not take payment from the balance in the app?????!!!!!!! This whole app thing is a HASSLE!!!!!!! 😡🤬😡🤬

4 stars for the food, -3 for service. Food was fine even though we didn't get what we ordered. Had to repeat and clarify order numerous times and we still didn't get what we wanted even after correcting what we could on delivery. Go to P Terry's instead.

A hole star is a bit much. As for this location it was fine, just as you would expect for Sonic. I tried to use the app like I have done a few times before this time the app wanted me to use a virtual gift card even though my debit was attached to the app. It was such a difficult use of the app I didn't think I will go to Sonic again they had a good thing going and just like all big corporations they took it a few steps to far. What they thought was an important is actually a downgrade.

Went there today as we do every Tuesday for the half price burgers and we where told they do not honor discounts now except through their app. I don’t like filling my phone up with food apps. So we went somewhere else.

First I ordered and paid online and a lady brought my order out. Then she got it weong. We waited 10 min then another lady brings out the correct food and asks for money because we did not pay and we show her the receipt. As we are leaving she asks for our reciept for her manager. We want until she comes back for another 10 minutes. Then We go find the manager and she has no clue what is going on. Their team does not communicate but manager was ok 🧐🙄😤

The staff here couldn’t make slushes accurately if their life depended on it. I order via the app, so they have it printed in front of them! Still, they always omit the add-ons. Today was the fourth time that they disappointed my kids who spent their hard-earned allowance. Never again.

I’m not sure if they even want black customers. I have been to this location twice. Both experiences were horrible! The first time I went and purchased food here , I was eating and they guy came to see if I was still there ,as if I didn’t belong there or something. After he seen that I was he turned back around and went in the building. When I ordered my food, the guy taking orders “acted” as if he couldn’t understand what I was saying. My second trip here , I ordered and as soon as I was about to eat , it was a little black bug in my food. They brought out management she replaced my food and she said that she was giving me two coupons for half priced meals for the inconvenience. I look at the coupons as I was leaving and it was 2 coupons for .99 cent drinks 🤷‍♂️ . Not to mention both times I went , I don’t think I’ve seen any black customers there or black employees. I don’t know if they treat blacks like this to scare them away, so that they can keep a lot of “white customers “ to make them feel comfortable and keep coming back to spend money or what. If so , it definitely worked with me because I WILL NOT be returning! They don’t even deserve the one star that I HAD to give to rate them. I’m not from Georgetown, but is this how y’all operate down here?

Well we got to this exact sonic at 10:53 and they said they would not serve us even though they close at 11:00 we also had a 3 year old and 7 year old who where devastated that they couldn’t get a ice cream

Sonic used to be so organized but they completely don’t take the time to have your order right.... basically what you would expect ordering from a bunch of careless kids. Didn’t even give me a recite or ask if everything was good.... basically just thwre for your money not the service. Hope this gets to the managers and they fix their problem. I feel bad righting such a review when it used to be so good.

Food wasn’t good at all the foot long that was ordered tasted horrible as if it was not cooked tasted like the bread was taking out the bag and a wiener was added to the bun and an open can of chili was placed on top wasn’t fresh at all. The tots too. The cheeseburger ordered tasted not fresh. The sprite was nasty. Spent over 40 and wasn’t good like it used to be.

For starters, I know this is a Sonic, im not expecting much to start with but this was GOD AWFUL. The burgers literally drip grease to the point that the buns are disintegrated and the chicken tender box which is the only meal that doesn't drip, apparently isn't an option anymore. Waste of money and waste of time. The only good thing about this place is how sweet and amazing the servers are.

Ordered food (wasn’t good) then broke my foot walking to the bathroom. The guy didn’t even ask if I was okay (I’m pregnant and fell!) and I had to buy ice for my foot. I’ll never go to another sonic.

Simply couldn’t place my order with them they didn’t let me finish placing my order and when ahnaya or wtv her name was called I asked for two small water said she was going to be back with them and then came back with nothing to then proceeded to tell me to place another order. If you knew I’d have to place an order why didn’t you just upcharge me with whatever change I had left or told me before going back inside to place another order. I was simply trying to get my dog water while it’s 100 degrees outside… left really upset because it’s hot outside and couldn’t do a simple thing as getting me a small water since I was already upset for them cutting me off while placing my order.

I ordered a hamburger with no cheese, onion rings and a large vanilla milkshake. When I got home they had given me a burger with nothing but meat and cheese. The onion rings were bury and tasted terrible. So I was just going to have my milk share and it was so thin it was like milk. Her excuse was they just changed product. I’m sure their cost was half

I have been to numerous Sonic locations and never had issues like this location. The Sonic App has its flaws and the locations have always been there to honor the app prices. However, this location fused. Mgr. Gabby says that they’re told they cannot honor app prices because they’re still receiving orders. I had the app out and showed the error to a Sonic employee and instead of being like every other Sonic location in honoring the price they refuse to do so. I will not be back to this location.
