Bellissimo ristorante in un ambiente tra più belli del lago maggiore. Location rilassante immersa nel verde. Piatti tipici e non eseguiti in maniera perfetta, infatti la cucina produce tutto a partire dalla pasta fresca ai dolci. Gli ingredienti sono di provenienza locale e selezionati con cura, come il miele che accompagna i taglieri di formaggi e saluti. È sicuramente un 10 su 10

The wine and food recommendation was very detailed and personalized, it was one of the best services I ever had at a restaurant! The atmosphere is very romantic, you will sit under 500 years old trees that are married. Gentlemanly waiters, it feels like a very soulful place. Very good desserts as well as accompanying liquors that were well designed by the waiters!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true highlight! Ristorante La Trinità is an absolute hidden gem! The location is wonderful – you immediately feel at ease. I especially want to commend the incredibly friendly and attentive waiter. With his warmth, attentiveness, and a smile, he truly made our evening special. You don't often experience service like that! The food was divine: fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and simply delicious. The gnocchi ossolani were perfect, the main course was outstanding, and the tiramisu was a delight. We will definitely be back – a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to enjoy good Italian food in a fantastic atmosphere!

Was unsure at first about visiting La trinita but I'm so glad we did. We were searching for local food with local service and we got it. Our waiter was very hospitable and welcoming even though we knew no Italian. I'm not a meat eater and I found plenty on the menu to eat, each one delicious. Definitely recommend.

Massimo and everyone at La Trinita were fantastic. They had a large party or two in this evening but were accommodating and friendly even though we had no reservation. The food was excellent, genuinely, portion sizes were epic, pasta cooked perfectly, and the seafood fantastic. We almost had to fight Mass to pay for the digestifs and the walk home through the UNESCO heritage setting overlooking the lake was breathtaking. Wholeheartedly recommended, we will be back.

It was a great night mostly because of the location, magical place with a very nice view of the lake. Food was not really good for an Italian restaurant but not bad either, portions were small but the service was warm, familiar and fun! I would come back for an appetizer since the ham and cheese board and the wine was great!

Beautiful terrace in the shade of the plane trees, very cool in the heat. We ate a polenta casserole with meat and cheese, which was okay, but nothing special; it would have been worth adding a salad. The staff is up to the task.

Location: Nestled in the Sacro Monte di Ghiffa Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003. The location is simple and informal, perfect for just stopping for a coffee after a beautiful walk in the surrounding area. We've been eating here several times; today, to celebrate our dear aunt's birthday. Lunch on the first Saturday in August, immersed in the tranquility of the Sacro Monte di Ghiffa Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, we enjoyed the warm and friendly welcome from the staff. We had a great time: Ossola cured meats and cheeses, fried lake fish with side dishes, and iced coffee. The cellar offers good wines to accompany the dishes. Panoramic view of Lake Maggiore from the chapels... just a few meters from the chaotic lakeside... breathtaking.

After an intense hike, we had lunch at Ristorante La Trinità. Although it's not listed on the menu, it's possible to order a gluten-free pasta dish. If you follow a gluten-free diet, you can rest assured that the chef will prepare your meal with care. The service was very friendly and happy to chat. The dishes are accompanied by a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We were there at the end of September. Excellent location right on the Sacro Monte di Ghiffa. Simple and tasteful interior. Very friendly service! Eat good home cooking. "Polenta al formaggio" is just that: polenta with cheese. Unfortunately, the "chestnut and pumpkin gnocchi in cheese sauce" had no pumpkin and was in a sour cream sauce. All in all, good. Certainly not excellent. As I said, good home cooking. The value for money is unfortunately very touristy, but certainly also depends on the location (or location). ------------------------------------------ Waren Ende September dort. Excellent location right on the Sacro Monte di Ghiffa. Simple and tasteful interior. Very friendly service! Eat good home cooking. "Polenta mit Käse" is really that—that's polenta with cheese. The "Kastanien-Kürbis-Gnocchi in Käsesauce" sind leider ohne Kürbis ausgekommen und waren in einer Schmand-Sauce. Alles in allem gut. Sicher nicht hervorragend. Wie gesagt, gute Hausmannskost. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist leider sehr touristisch, aber sicher auch der Lage entsprechend (bzw. der Lage geschuldet).

Situato in una incantevole posizione, si può ammirare il lago maggiore nel suo splendore da un terrazzamento vicinissimo all location, questo ristorante offre piatti di buona qualità, bene i primi un pò meno i secondi (ho chiesto una tagliata con cottura media ed è arrivata molto cotta, seppur buona). Gli gnocchi alla farina di castagne sono eccellenti. Nelle belle giornate consiglio di mangiare all'aperto, sotto maestose piante che donano una frescura gradevole. Alla sera dovrebbe essere magnifico una volta accese le luci tra gli alberi.

Bel ristorante una location stupenda, pulito Ed comodo parcheggio. Abbigliamento mangiato varie polenta ed una torta salata, vino sfuso neanche un dolce ad testa. Pagato 32 € ad testa un po' caro

Devo dire che avevo delle alte aspettative, smorzate dal rapporto qualita' prezzo non molto equilibrato su certi piatti e dalla lunga attesa. Ho' preso i gnocchi di castagne e onestamente con 13 euro mi aspettavo fossero fatti in casa, invece erano quelli gommosi di una nota marca della zona, io stessa li preparo e di sicuro non sono come quelli che ho' mangiato lunedi'! In oltre di solito in un ristorante si offrono prodotti di stagione e le castagne come pure la polenta non lo sono proprio...sono ma invernali... Il personale e' cordiale, qualcuno un po' troppo...diciamo..espansivo... Il luogo e' il punto di forza del ristorante, bellissimo e tranquillo.

Great location, disappointing service The setting is stunning – right next to a UNESCO World Heritage site – and the food was good. Unfortunately, we didn’t feel welcome. We arrived at 6:30 pm with a child and were told dinner was by reservation only and wouldn’t start until 7:30. Instead of offering a drink or small snack while we waited (another table was having Aperol), we were made to feel like we were disturbing and should leave (chef was sitting with friends at one of the tables giving us unfriendly looks contributed to that). This was especially disappointing and confusing given the sign outside says dinner from 7:00 and Google shows continuous hours – one of the reasons we chose to drive there. When ordering, there was a misunderstanding about a dish; I tried to clarify, but was cut off – and the wrong meal arrived, just as I had feared. I don’t think the waiter meant it badly, but his manner came across as arrogant and impolite. A small gesture of hospitality could have made all the difference.

Nonostante il posto sia suggestivo e accogliente, l'esperienza culinaria è stata pessima. In particolare per il pranzo pasquale. Nonostante la prenotazione, i tempi di attesa tra un piatto e l'altro sono stati biblici, per non parlare della qualità scadente del cibo, il quale era per la maggior parte mal scongelato, poco saporito e diverso da quanto proposto nel menu (l'agnello era invece capretto o pecora). Anche il prezzo rispetto a quanto mangiato è stato piuttosto sproporzionato. Da dimenticare.

Passata per una merenda con gli amici: la cameriera ha origliato tutta la nostra conversazione e inoltre al momento del conto, i tempi sono stati lunghissimi e la proprietaria ha contestato alla mia amica il pagamento di un caffè con la carta, asserendo che “tanto vale regalarlo” e borbottando altre lamentele alle nostre spalle ridacchiando con i suoi colleghi. Non vi è da stupirsi che il posto sia sempre vuoto, se è questo il trattamento riservato ai clienti paganti. Inoltre scarsa la porzione del tiramisù, che per sei euro era decisamente piccola. Insomma, un peccato che questo splendido posto in un sito unesco così suggestivo sia in mano di persone che fanno fuggire i turisti e i giovani.

Eravamo già stati qua, qualche anno fa. Famiglie con bambini... e mi ricordo che avevamo pagato caro, secondo me, ma tutto sommato avevamo mangiato benino.... Stavolta l'esperienza è stata passima. Il cameriere non riusciva s stare dietro agli ordini, non sparecchiava, ed anche per il caffè, abbiamo aspettato tantissimo, con risposte del tipo, prima servo gli altri, poi vengo da voi... menu per bambini ridicolo, plezioni di pasta al pomodoro minuscola, milanesi micro, e patatine contate, la frittura di pesce di lago.. indecente... 3 pezzettini di pesce, il resto verdure... vitello tonnato grassi e a parer mio neanche vitello... la tagliata con le patate.... non si fa così.. era una bistecca tagliata, con 4 patate. In conclusione, noi 2 adulti con 1 bimbo di 5 anni e l'altro di 3.... prendendo un piatto a testa,acqua, 4 dolci, e 2 caffè. Abbiamo pagato 120 euro, che secondo me per quello che abbiamo mangiato e per la qualità sono troppi...

We had a reservation at this restaurant yesterday at 9 pm. We had confirmation by mail. When we arrived by car at 9pm15, the restaurant wa CLOSED. It was dark, nobody was there. Nobody at Phone. On Google the restaurant was still indicated "open until 10.30 pm". They did not call us to advise us, of course. We had NEVER seen that with a restaurant. Please never go there. When you treat clients tlike that, you just deserve to be CLOSED for ever.
