Pizza Haven is a cozy local gem that delivers classic American pizza with heart. The dough has that ideal chew and light crispness, and the toppings are always fresh — you can tell they care about quality. My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken pizza; the sauce is rich but not overpowering. Service is warm and fast, though the seating area can get busy during weekends. Overall, it’s a must-visit for anyone craving authentic, flavorful pizza.
I recently visited Pizza Haven – NY Style in Sun City Center and was absolutely impressed. The pizza is authentic New York style — thin, crispy, light, and absolutely delicious.
I can't believe I found authentic potato knishes just a few miles away. Im ecstatic. The price is right and the food is delicious. Can't wait to be hungry again so I can order. Thanks Pizza Haven't. Can't comment on atmosphere because I had delivery.
I stumbled across this place on google maps and boy am I glad I did. Excellent pizza! Light, perfectly cooked, not greasy and the crust was so good we buttered them up like dinner rolls. We’ll be back.
Alex the manager was very helpful , very kind, he made my pizza extra fresh, I work at the kekes next door and I came from a long overworked shift, he had a nice conversation with me while I waited for my pizza. Gave me napkins. This place is great!! Come check it out. Thanks again Alex!!
Hands down best pizza and knots ever! Can’t get enough! My kids are picky and they told me can only order pizza from here from now on! We also get knots almost daily my daughter loves them so when I get off I pick them up for her!

Fresh Ingredients, Great Service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You can really taste the difference here — everything feels freshly made. The dough is hand-tossed, and you can smell the pizzas baking in their stone oven. Staff were attentive and even customized my order exactly how I wanted it. Five stars without a doubt!
Ordered takeout pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint! The pizza was hot, fresh, and full of flavor when I got home. The pepperoni was perfectly cooked and the crust was just right. Quick service and easy pickup. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Pizza Haven (NY Style) in Sun City Center. Dash delivery. Ordered their "Damanator" pIZZA WITH Tomatoes, Onions, & Bacon. First, thanks for calling it "NY Style". Way too many NY'ers down here keep whining about not getting good NY pizza here in Florida. Hello? This is Florida, not NY! I digress... Overall a decent pie. Cooked perfectly. Abundant toppings. Minimal center flop. Minimal grease spots in the box. The thing for me was it lacked the undertone tang of a good sauce. There was a slight schmeer of sauce on the base. Made it a hint bland. Added a little oregano and red pepper flakes to help the zing a bit. Will probably ask for extra sauce next time to compare. They offer an Indian Paneer Veg pizza that I bet doesn't lack in flavor. Might be the next choice. This one? SCORE: 6.5/10.
We had the Bull Special. It was really cheesy and good. Price was good too. The only things that bothered us was walking in and the person who helped us was stuffing some pepperoni and cheese into his mouth as he was checking the oven. The lobby areas tike is a bit run down too. But food was good.
First time at Pizza Haven and the pizza did not disappoint! Good NY crust and the sauce has a really good flavor. Unfortunately our wings were over cooked and the garlic knots, while they had good flavor were lacking in that garlicy butter sauce that makes the knots that much better. Did not date atmosphere since we did take out.

Great lunch special! Only $8 for two slices and a drink. Slices are Huge! Customer service was excellent! Very friendly. Way better than the local “Chain” pizza joints.
My husband and I were craving wings and saw this place on the way home. The owner, Alex, was very nice and accommodating. We genuinely liked him. We ordered 24 baked wings with Buffalo, BBQ, and Parmesan cheese flavors. I honestly want to help this place improve, so here’s our honest review. The flavors of the wings tasted really good. However, we noticed that the texture of the wings was not very tender or crispy. I hope this review helps the business take a closer look at that. We’re not criticizing—we honestly just want to help the business grow. They are nice people who are simply doing their best to get sales. Next time we visit, we would love to try their pizza. God bless your business, Alex. Thank you.
EDIT - the owner called and offered us a free white pizza. We decided to try again and the pizza was alright. The customer service was great and we appreciate that he went above and beyond to make it right. Even after we tried the pizza again, the owner called to ask how it was. Really wanted to like this place. Just moved to town and looking for a pizza spot! The pictures on the website are very decieving and inaccurate. We ordered the white pie - which shows a white pizza with ricotta on it in the actual picture that you click to order it. Got the pizza, no ricotta. Called to let them know we received the wrong pizza and was told that the white pizza doesn’t have ricotta…?!! Okay??? So then why is it advertised that way WITH A PICTURE!? The next pizza we ordered was a margarita pizza… the toppings were literally on half the pizza. The other half was cheese. The meats pizza was so greasy it left a grease mark on our dining room table when we picked up the box after eating. Very disappointed and never received a call back to even discuss with management as promised. Please don’t comment back with “accept 20% off on your next order”. If you want to fix it, you can remake my entire order correctly for what I already paid for and didn’t receive accurately. Sad, bc we really looked forward to this based on the pictures they advertise.
Both pizzas were undercooked, limp and greasy, garlic knots were good. Got a meatball and ricotta, you can see very limited toppings, didn’t take pic of other pizza it was very sparse on the pepperonis and undercooked as well. Flavor was decent just wish it was cooked more and more toppings for the price we paid. Just moved here and first pizza place we tried and have to say we most likely will never be back.
Meatball Sandwich and Pepperoni Pizza. Too thin for my liking because I like thicker dough. I hear they have a thicker slice, I may try that next time. The taste of the pizza itself however was very good. The meatballs in the sandwich were either cut into half pieces or just very small meatballs. It got lost in the cheese and sauce. I’m not sure if they were just having an off day, so looking forward to trying them out again at a later date.
The website Menu along with photos show that they make this Stromboli. However when you order it they give you something completely different and you get a calzone. When you ask why the website for this location shows this no one can answer or be helpful. The pizza honestly isn’t bad here but when I ordered this twice already and got something completely different it’s concerning. The garlic knots also 99% of the time come out completely burnt. Again it sucks because the pizza really isn’t that bad it’s pretty good. They have to work on everything else though

This review is brought to you by: The Honest Food Guy (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram) You can find the full video review there! Follow my page for more real and honest reviews. It's also a way to find places you've maybe never heard of! Well, this definitely had its fair share of issues. Had I not liked the cheese this would have been an even lower score. There was no love or passion on this pizza. The crust was not raw but was severely under. The cheese barely melted. The crust was really bad because of it. The sauce wasn't good and the huge amounts of Italian or oregano seasonings was totally overkilled. I will come back to the cheese. It was actually really good in the spots that were melted down enough.
A little love in appearance will go a long way. The interior needs some cleaning and some attention to details. The service was... odd. Not unfriendly but not enthusiastic either. Seemed unsure of the menu items when we asked questions. The food- pizza has a soft dough, it isn't crispy. Lots of cheese, which is great but makes it super greasy. The sauce has good flavor in my opinion. Overall probably a 5/10 as it stands. The garlic knots are super small and the sauce served cold, which takes away from the fluffy, warm garlic experience that I look for in a knot. Not sure if we'll try again- there are other local places that more closely hit the mark.

I thought the sausage and mushroom pizza I ordered was good. I did feel a little more protein on it would have gotten another star. I also added garlic powder and salt. Considering the atmosphere, it could use some TLC - some effort would go a long way with cleaning and paint.
Review for Pizza Haven “NY Style” – Sun City, FL Being originally from New York, I’ve been on the hunt for a true local spot that lives up to the authentic NY-style pizza standard. After reading the positive reviews and studying the online photos, I had high hopes that Pizza Haven would be that hidden gem. To really test the menu, I placed a large order—three XL pizzas, wings, and what was supposed to be a pizza roll (about $115 in total). Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. The pizza roll I ordered turned out to be a calzone, the pizzas were extremely oily, and the toppings on the supreme were diced instead of sliced. The wings were breaded, which was surprising given the “fried/baked” description. The biggest disappointment was the crust. Authentic NY-style pizza should have a thin, crisp undercarriage that supports the slice when folded. What I received was chewy, saggy, and undercooked dough that didn’t resemble what was advertised. Honestly, it gave the impression of pre-made dough rather than fresh, in-house preparation as the restaurant claims. I really wanted this place to be great, but the quality just wasn’t there. Between the misleading photos online and the underwhelming execution, I walked away feeling disappointed. At this price point, the food should be far better—it was more on par with gas station pizza than authentic New York style.
I wanted to like this place but after my first order only feel ripped off and upset about the poor food. Don't ever use the name of this business and NY in the same statement! This was a thinner, soft and floppy crust topped with preservative laden cheap tomatoes, low end mozzarella and about a pound of powdered garlic. I would have thought that was as bad as it gets but next up are the sandwiches. We also picked up and now threw out an eggplant parm covered in ricotta and a chicken parm sandwich. The sauce may be worse than any frozen pizza I've ever had and coupled with some sort of imitation butter and tons of powdered garlic. My gums sting from the preservatives and the entire $56 order is garbage! What a waste! Worst pizza I've encountered locally.

I just picked up an X Large ground beef WELL DONE pizza. There was so much GREASE on the bottom of the box !!!. I had to switch the top side. It wasn't WELL DONE at all. It was EXTRA RAW !! It's was floppy, greasy, messy. The wings were good.
Disappointed with the order. Food came to 70+$ for a pizza, boneless wings, and a Stromboli…. Pizza was so thin and had barely any toppings. Tasted like dough. Wings literally had 9 wings that were basically Tyson nuggets tossed in sauce. Stromboli was a “calzone” and was so greasy you could squeeze the grease from the dough…. Would not recommend this place for “authentic” New York pizza. Unless you want a stomach ache, avoid this place!
I was surprised there were so many good ratings here. Unfortunately, my experience was not good and won't be back. Pizza had black burnt bits on the bottom, they likely don't clean ovens and cooking surfaces often making we wonder if I was going to get sick. Pizza box was soaked in grease. I don't recommend dining in, it was very smokey with a grease vapor hanging in the air - had to go home and shower afterwards.
