Really good customer service from Danny - he took the time to confirm that I wanted cheese on my Beyond Burger. While I feel like it's my responsibility to know what I'm eating and check the ingredients, it was just a nice added touch that Danny thought to check with me.

Good food, order as asked for, noticed tape across lid of drink when delivered, excellent! Made it easier to carry and I have no doubt easier for Doordasher. Thank you for the little step beyond!

We were heading north and looking forward to breakfast at Carl's Jr. Decided to use our coupon for BOGO Monster biscuit. Great choice! The biscuit is so filling in a delicious way. Melted cheese with egg, bacon and sausage! On our way again quickly, totally satisfied!

Had a Beyond Burger meal with extra crispy fries and a coke. If you need to lower your cholesterol the Beyond Burger is the next best thing after a famous star. Try it out all you guys and girls having high cholesterol. It works. The fries were super. I love crispy.

Juiciest giant burger. So good, and it hits the spot when craving delicious burger. My favorite is the Super Star w/o pickles. I recommend ordering small. Their small drinks and fries are really big.

I wish we had a Carl's Jr in Hollister. I absolutely love their burgers and when I drive into Gilroy I make it a point to stop there for a quick meal. Try their food it's a special treat and service is friendly and quick.

Famous star is my go to burger. Fries are better than average. The fact they bring your food to your table is still appreciated.

Stopped for quick bite,nice to have a restaurant that takes a little longer preparing food. They have a variety of foods to choose from. Only drawback was bathrooms needed cleaning, but at least it was stocked with toilet paper.

Fast service, despite it being busy with a rush. The cashier was friendly, prompt, and delivered great customer service. Overall, good spot to stop on a road trip.

I really like their Breakfast cheese sandwich with ham and french toast sticks👌🏼! Also the taco salad 😋 Drive thru gets busy in the mornings and at lunch time. Be patient :)

Thanks for my tasty California burger, after getting off a long shift at the hospital! Working graveyard and having one of those with a vanilla shake (at 8am) is one of my guilty pleasure. Thanks Gilroy, Monterey Road for everything.

I don't have to tell you the food was good because how can you go wrong with Carl's jr. But I will tell you this location has TVs. I watched tv while I stuffed my face.

The service was amazing, both the dining area and bathroom were very clean, the food was hot and tasty, and the AC was the perfect temperature. The employee who took our order and brought us our food was very nice to us and all the other customers that came in while we were there.

Great hamburger, better than homemade ones at least at my home. Great service. Wanted double meat hamburger for dog. They didn't understand my requesting. Got a single burger no condiments not double but Paxton loved it.

I like this place, The staff is always very friendly and happy to help. I like this food over other brands. Charbroil chicken burger is my favorite. Also there are double and triple burgers, all very good.

Its fast food, its Carl's Jr. If you've eaten here before, the chain has a good reputation and they continue to deliver at this location. I stopped here BC highway 101 at this spot was very slow. Plus, the day was HOT. So, i stopped to cool off, use the restroom, eat something and sit the traffic out. It worked out great. The AC was super cool. The dining area and restroom was clean. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded. Groups came through and left. It seemed perfectly. I took a break in here for about an hour. Had my meal. Peacefully. Moved on.

I don't remember the gentleman that is at the cashier but everytime we go he is very friendly and helpful. The little details are what matter I ordered a burrito but like I can not eat beans I said no beans and he made sure to tell the girl not to put beans on it. Which I really appreciate it thank you once again for your excellent service.

My husband & I actually ordered from the Green Burrito menu, which we'd never had before. DELICIOUS, we both were really pleasantly surprised. Staff here is super friendly, food came out pretty quickly at lunch, it's a very clean location. We're remodeling an RV nearby on the weekends, so we'll be visiting more frequently, since it's the perfect quick break.

I love this Carl's jr. Just because it's the only 1 that is closest to Hollister, the staff I know, it's definitely not that nice, but what can you say, it's Gilroy.

On a road trip and stopped for a burger, fries, and a cold drink...service was friendly, fast, and a really clean place.

Sadly we were almost the only ones in there. $20 for 1 meal and 1 burger. I predict because of cost during this recession, Carl's/Hardee's will close it's doors by 2025. They are hanging on a thread. Burger King was crowded so was Mc Donald's, because value and prices are better.

Breakfast only in the morning. Used coupons for friend zuchini and buy one get one free Western bacon cheese. It's a little bit away from everything else, but the service is fast and no errors with our order. They're a bit on the pricier side, but it's a better quality burger than McDonalds.

Have been a customer for many years. One of the better fast food burgers available. Convenient drive through and no long lines. Was as expected which is between good and very good.

Hit or Miss with the Guacamole Bacon Cheese Burguer, but the Strawberry Milkshakes are really good. Their french fries are good as well as the kids Star Chicken Nuggets. Overall, we rarely eat here as it is a bit expensive, each combo is about $14 - $16 dollars average.

Number 3, on menu that's my go to meal. Barbecue, onion rings, cheddar plus I add hot sauce, the best. Coke easy on the ice, warm fries and ketchup makes me a happy camper. Than you Carl's.

Carl's Jr always has great food, but they always tend to remove items that I love from the menu. Service is always a bit slow at every Carl's, but it's worth it in the end because the product that you get is hot, delicious and good. It's also a bit pricey, but you do get what you pay for, so it's a fair price in the end.

Stopped by Carl’s Jr. last night because I was starving for a burger. I ordered a Famous Star with cheese, no onion, single patty—but they gave me a double instead. It was fine, just too much meat for me, so I didn’t end up finishing half of it. The fries tasted like they had been cold and then re-dipped in oil, so they were a little greasy. I didn’t complain since I was exhausted and just wanted to eat. This location is right off the freeway with tons of parking, even for big rigs and larger vehicles. There’s a truck plaza with diesel fueling stations nearby, so it’s definitely a spot geared for truck drivers and heavy equipment. Overall, it was an okay stop convenient and plenty of space, but nothing special.

Employees were efficient and helpful. Food was fresh. Taco salad not very good. Chicken Taquitos were good. Spicy chicken sandwiches, not very good at all. French Fries mediocre at best. Hand breaded chicken sandwich was very tasty even though the chicken was pretty small. If you like Carl's Jr this is a good restaurant.

If you are looking for a quick bite then Carl's Jr. Is the place to go. On the other hand if you are looking for great tasting and clean food this is not the place to go.

Same menu as all Carl's restaurants, kind attendants but facilities need more attention because tables were dirty. Food was good.

I expected guacamole burger to have more guacamole. The burger didn't have any taste to it. It was also very greasy. The price was a little pricey.

Good burger and fries but $12.03 seems a bit expensive for a Carl's original, medium size meal. Also had to wait in the parking lot for roughly ten minutes to receive the food... So only three starts this time.

Clean restaurant and bathrooms. Great location. I was able to see it from the freeway! I am updating this review to reflect that they messed up on which BLT ranch sandwich I wanted. I don't do chicken and I was specific I wanted the Angus beef.

Can't go wrong with the dbl western bacon cheese burger! Crisscut fries seem always a hit or miss sometimes they're nice and crispy cooked sometimes they almost taste raw add a beverage to the order and it's one of the more expensive fast food restaurants

A lot better this last time, wait time was ok, and order was correct. However they gave us burned chicken strips that were pretty gross. The employees also seem to think that house dressing is the same as ranch dressing, it's not. Similar but different flavor.

The burgers are some of my favorite fast food burgers, but their prices have gotten completely out of control. I bought a double western bacon cheese burger meal that came out to be $13.72 after tax. Almost $14 for a fast food meal is over the top. The burger was really good though!

They can barely understand English in the drive thru and it makes ordering if you're not fluent in Spanish almost impossible. I'm all in favor of working through language barriers but when I have to settle for less then what I expected or can't get what I'm wanting because the staff that management/ownership hires have no desire to work with the customer you've created a problem that I won't waste my hard earned money on. I can't recommend this place unless your fluent in Spanish or can go inside and use a translating app.

The spicy chicken sandwiches are always really good! The cashier was friendly, he apologized for the delay. Unfortunately when I got home and I checked the bag I realized that a few of the purchased items were missing. Would definitely go again but I would double check my order before heading out.

I love Carls Jr.! Would give higher score if they would actually add a chili to the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich! Adding pic showing the tiny slice they have added for the 3rd time. The meal is NOT worth $13.00. Ridiculous. Won't go to the Gilroy location again.

Your restroom was gross. It smelled and the sink was disgusting. No towels and the hand dryer blows nothing but ice cold air.

Seems like the quality of their meat, and other food products are not as tasty as before. And their customer service lacks as well. Especially at the drive- thru window. Will not go there ever.

Has followed suit with McDonald's and change their burgers and let me tell you they're smaller and they suck I've already called the manager to ask if he was the only one there restaurant was the only one that changed he said no the whole Corporation sad that used to be one of the best

The Primal hambuger steak sandwich for $16 sucked. Didnt look like the one they advertise ? Looks like a hamburger. With road kill? The steak looked grey and pale . definently not worth the $16 I spent.

Drove through drive thru. No coffee at 8:11pm. Said they only had cold coffee. 3 cars in front of me 15 minutes to window. Food was good, but would of been better with a cup of coffee. I drink hot coffee whether the weather is hot or cold. Only reason why I gave it 2 stars.

4:30 pm on Sunday, heavy travel day on the 101 corridor. Only one person at cash registers and assembling purchased meals. One girl doing both. And she was confused and very slow. I finally flagged down the drive through window employee and he assembled my (one item) take out purchase. If you're planning on eating here, use the drive-thru.

We waited at the drive thru counter for 12 minutes before receiving our meals. The order was correct, but it wasn't fast food at all. We would have been fine with a simple explanation or just anything really, but there was no communication, just waiting.

The food was middle of the road quality dor Carls on this visit. We arrived to 2 cars on the drive thru and noone inside. We walked in and ordered, yet it still took 22 minutes to get our food. The wife used the restroom and said she definitely had to hover.

I get this is not a very populated area, but what's the point in having just two employees during lunch? I guess the limited crew would explain why there are no napkins on the tables or outside garbage cans. Less stuff to keep up I guess. The chicken sandwich was almost $11! Just the sandwich! I ended up getting a burger and my bun was dry and hard on the edges. Yuck. Glad we're just driving through.

Ordered the buy one get one for $1 famous star and was charged full price. When I asked why they said I should have mentioned the offer 😡 Well I guess I won't be stopping here again.

Place was a dump, the manager stunk like body odor. Order was wrong, ended up getting my money back before I got sick eating here.

My biscuit was over cooked. This is forgivable, especially when they did not burn my husband's beyond burger. However when their TV shows a half naked woman with a broken neck and her face in the toilet, I have a big problem with that.

Hopefully it was just a bad day, but I spent at least 15 minutes in the drive through, with only 2 cars in front of me. Very frustrating on a 95+ degree day with no AC in the car.

Horrible service. I know it's just fast food but they tried to charge me $19.50 for a famous star and super star! And they're just kids working there so they don't give a bleep.

My coke was hot. My fries were cold n my burger was made wrong after waiting 15 minutes.. I asked for extra ketchup and the gave me two packages

I know that I gave it 1star but now I'm going to give them a negative -100 stars. The customer service is horrible at this location. You repeat and repeat and repeat you're order to them, they repeat it back to you correctly and still get it wrong. Had to have them fix it. And they charge you for substituting one cheese for another. They're also charging $2.99 for large drinks. Wow 😳. This is definitely the worse location I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. #CarlsJr

Didn't actually stop here to eat. We just used the bathroom. I know I shouldn't be terribly surprised but the bathroom was disgusting. In the men's bathroom someone had actually crapped on the toilet seat and it hadn't been cleaned yet. I know that's not entirely the restaurant's fault because people should be better than that and know how to take a dump actually into the toilet. But it is gross just walking into a bathroom that's that dirty. Other than that it was just generally dirty as well.

RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! One star is too much. Waited in line for at least a half hour and when she finally handed me the food she didnt make sure I had it and the bag ripped and it all fell onto the ground. She said she would remake the order. Then another woman came to the window and asked me to pull around to the front to wait for my order and implied that I had purposely dropped the bag. Then while waiting out front another customer verbally assaulted me almost the whole time I waited. Then when she brought me my food I told her how bad my experience was and she walked away. Wouldn't even listen or care. And the food was soggy. I will never eat there again.

Was very disappointed by this place today. I went through the drive thru and ordered food for my wife and I. When I got home I did not get exactly what I ordered!!! It was a big disappoinment! I live in San Juan Bautista and can't just go back to show proof. Not only did I get 2 of the same combo's (which isn't what I ordered), but both burgers were burned and the buns were hard and tasted burned and stale.

Took over 45 minutes to get my 1 burger. Employees were standing around talking while there was a line to order and plenty of people waiting for food. The employees that I did talk to were not friendly and rude.

Drive thru is super slow. Hope the food is good when I finally get it. Edit: Ordered my burger dry, no sauce...got a burger dripping in ketchup and mayo. This place is terrible.

This Carl's is in need of a new crew that knows what to do as far as customer service. Maybe with adequate training in this subject, current crew would shine. It's pretty evident that they haven't had this kind of training. I know what I'm talking about because I myself, am involved in Retail Sales and have over 35 yrs. experience when it comes to customer service. I would not recommend visiting this eating establishment.

My husband and I stopped at Carl Jr on January 1, 2021 to get a bite to eat. We went inside to order. We both order hamburger and fries. We waited almost 10 minutes to get our order and when we did we went outside to eat in the truck. The hamburger were not very hot and the fries were cold. We were very disappointed and sadly to say three hours later my husband got sick with food poisoning. I was lucky I didn't get as sick as he did. It was awful. We won't be eating there again. I didn't want to give it a star but I couldn't post without one star click.

I went to buy food around 8pm. I ordered my food at the drive thru and when I went to up to the window I saw 6 cockroaches all over their wall. When the girl opened the window I told her I didn't want my food because there was cockroaches all over. She looked outside and said "oh the big outdoor ones". I saw them go into the walls! I told her sorry but I didn't want my food. Worst experience of my life. I wouldn't even give them one star. That's disgusting!!!!

I love Carl's Jr but sadly I will never go to the Carl's Jr in Gilroy. First the girl taking my order at the drive through had no manners AT ALL. Not only was she rude to me she also made me wait 15 min to receive my food which the patty on the burger was raw and the fries were cold. When she said the total to me and I was not done ordering my order I said excuse me.. she cut me off half way with my sentence and she answered with a very rude and loud WHAT! then I was able to hear people in the background laughing at the way she was talking to me. I am not a racist I love all people but that was a very rude black girl.

Don’t ever get take out like this before closing. Chicken was old, burnt and small portions. Fries were fresh enough. Cheesecake was sealed so it was good. Bad experience.

Hello, this morning after completing my order, I used the restrooms. I heard someone coming out and not hearing anybody washing their hands. After I washed my hands I knew 100% that the female didn’t wash her hands because I didn’t hear the electric hand dryer being used nor the door handle being wet. After coming out I asked which female used the restroom. The young woman said which bathroom, what other bathroom can be used than the female bathroom I asked. She said she used it, I asked her why she didn’t washed her hands, which she responded that she did. I confronted her that the electric dryer hasn’t been used, she responded that she used the paper towel in the kitchen area. Her supervisor approached her in Spanish than chimed in and offered me in a very unpolite way if you don’t want your order we can redo it. My point is, if she did washed her hands why was the door handle NOT WET!!!!! I submit the complaint to the company website.

I asked over 5 times for a plain spicy chicken. Still got it with lettuce and mayo. When I came in to tell them they seemed bothered. All Sergio did was throw away the lettuce and buns added a slap of cheese and gave it back to me…. Patty seems like it’s been sitting there for time fries are stale
