Oh my goodness, the food here is spectacular and I stumbled across a new favorite food item...the chorizo cornbread 😋 The burgers are juicy and the Irish stew...incredible! I'm looking forward to trying their steak in the future The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

What a great spot for any time of the day. Whether you are with friends, family, coworkers, by yourself, or with a large group. Their unique Mexican/Irish menu has something for everyone to enjoy. The drinks are great as well. Great cocktails and cold beer hits the spot. The staff is great and I highly recommend this place.

Love this place!!! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are on point. Service is excellent. We love the chicken wings, fish and chips, and everything off the brunch menu!!! If you enjoy cocktails, you must order a drink or two from this awesome cocktail menu. My personal favorite is the Old Fashion and, for dessert, the Apple Pie cocktail drink. Highly recommend you check this place out. You will not be disappointed. 😁

We’ve never ordered something we didn’t absolutely love! Delicious food, personable, engaging, and fast service, large portion sizes. It’s a win all the way around. Try their shepherds pie!

I just have to say, the kid who served us last time was absolutely amazing. His name was Elijah and he definitely deserves a raise. Super friendly and well versed in the menu.

Pop's is great! After having been here a couple of times, I can definitely say that the food is consistently great. They have a great selection of signature drinks to try out while also having yummy food. I personally really enjoy the garlic burger, and we've also tried the baked potato soup which is really good. The pan dulce bread pudding is so delicious, and caps off the great meal. Also, the service has been phenomenal, especially from Carlos who was on point in every aspect during our last visit. This place is definitely worth a try!

Came in for dinner with some good friends while visiting the South Bay! Good beer selection, and great food! I had the spicy chicken sandwich this go around and it was awesome! Also had the tall Mai Tai-PA beer. Great food, great times and great company!

Our first time there and all around great experience. A lot more family friendly with some games. The fried chicken sandwich was amazing and the Cobb salad had great chicken!

Pops is a wonderful place to dine they have great appetizers to choose from a great selection of ,drinks and entrée. They have all the sports games on so it can get a big loud we like it we are loud people .The hostess waitresses and food runners are excellent

This was our second time at Pop's Public House. Great service and food the first time (bf got the whiskey burger and a beer, I got the fish and chips and a Just Peachy cocktail). I got a cup of the potato soup and nearly fell out of my chair - best I've ever had. Yesterday, I ordered a bowl of the potato soup (didn't realize how big it would be with two bread slices!) and then my bf got the Cal Fusion burger - yes they are huge here! - and I also got the chicken parmesan after a nice discussion with Taylor, our server. EVERYTHING was amazing - even my Flavor Burst drink was to die for. All the servers and staff were great. I think Taylor may be my favorite server of all time - and I'm 51, so that's sayin' sumthin. I would have loved different or wiped down decor items on the wall along the entrance where we sat. It's not bad but could be zhuh'd up. Not even really a critique. We will be back here and bring our local friends. Simple a highly pleasant place with amazing food and drinks - just our kinda place. Taylor is the best!!!

What a fun place. Myour first time visiting. The food was beyond delicious. Our waiter Christian was just the best, great knowledge of the menu and helped us navigate the various options. He made our late lunch a very memorable one. He was attentive to detail, had great timing and made great suggestions. Kind and welcoming!! We will definitely be coming back!

Great food and drinks but over all of that, the best service my husband and I have ever had. This is our second time here and we had the same server and she has been so amazing! Always sooo sweet, energetic, and welcoming! Positive vibes all around and great mojitos!!

On our Kid’s Birthday it’s a family tradition they get doughnuts for breakfast and choose where we eat for dinner. Westlyn chose Pops Public House! Thank you to Katie Perales and staff for making our dinner so great. The food is delicious and the environment was perfect!!

What a delightful surprise we found in Gilroy. I was very impressed,our whole table was of five ladies with the food, the service, and the atmosphere, it did not disappoint. I'm looking forward to going back again to share the restaurant with my husband and try some more food and delicious cocktails. We had the opportunity to go on Taco Tuesday and three of us had the taco deal which was an outstanding value. I upgraded my drink for the Paloma cocktail which was such a great deal and it was absolutely delicious. Taylor, tall. And with tattoos, as she called herself took care of us mightily. We were never without anything at our table she was always one step ahead.

The server was amazing, she was patient, and great personality. The food was really good again. This is the second time we have eaten here and both times we ry enjoyed all of the food we ordered. I had the steak and mashed potatoes. The girlfriend had the mom's potatoe soup and a blt with fries. Both were really good. They have pinball machines, Pac-Man, and a pool table. With plenty of tvs for sports. The atmosphere is nice and the people that eat and drink there seems to be good people too. Ive seen families with children and grown men having good time relaxing and everyone is happy.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pop's, and it turned into a wonderful opportunity to reunite with a former senior manager. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the evening even more special. The food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. To finish, the dessert was outstanding, the perfect sweet ending to an already exceptional meal. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Manager Mike, along with his team members Marquette, Julio, and Christian, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening. This restaurant is not only a place for great meals but also for memorable experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding food and exceptional hospitality.

I went with my family who are more old school and they enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service. Definitely won’t leave hungry and the staff is incredibly friendly!! Food is so good can’t wait to come back to Gilroy to eat at pops again :)

The calamari tacos were huge, delicious, loved the jalapeños!!! I had the burger with cheese. I like that they had sautéed onions and raw onions, lots of good green lettuce. Salad was really good, i would just ask for the dressing on the side because i prefer less, but my husband loves his salad fully drenched., so for him it's perfect. Onion rings were good too.

I was looking for something garlic themed because its Gilroy! The burger was really good. Service was friendly. Very clean. I would return.

My first time stopping by, I came for our friend's birthday dinner. This is a MUST-try restaurant! The food is delicious, especially their burgers! They give you big portions! I eat a lot, and the burger alone filled me up. They're definitely known for their burgers since mostly everyone in the restaurant ordered burgers. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. He was very attentive, and we got our food within 20 mins, which wasn't bad since they were busy! The lighting in the restaurant is perfect. They have a pool table and games to play with friends! A bar is you're just trying to grab a drink. Overall, I had a great experience! I will be going back to try their pasta!

Best waffles and wings! Lots of yum on the menu! I love the orange marmalade waffles with candied orange peel! Soooo good!

Service was great. I was disappointed with the ribeye steak. My BF had a burger and he really liked it. The mash potatoes were delicious. The garlic fries were delicious.

Tall Taylor was the absolute best server. However, the food left something to be desired. The Irish stew was a soup. The beef was tender but the flavor was not very robust. The rib eye sandwich tasted as if propane had infiltrated the meat. The French fries were good. I guess if you've never eaten authentic Irish stew it would have been good. As we went out of our way to eat there we won't go back
