Laz Turkish Tapas

Probably the best Turkish food I’ve had in Glasgow - Lamb ribs a stand out!! Treated like family by the staff and the complimentary extras were amazing - will certainly be back! 😊

My 1st visit to this restaurant, I had a great time having lunch with my family in such a fancy place. Everything from the grilled meats to the sides was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We ended this wonderful meal with some desserts and a cup of tea. Just when I took the first sip of the tea, It was the same unique flavour I had back in Turkey.

Food was incredible and so nicely presented . The service was enjoyable- the staff want to know genuinely how your experience was so they can constantly improve. Cant wait to bring the family and enjoy more of the menu. Favourite was definitely the lamb chops from the mixed grill for 2 🤤

I ate here while in Glasgow,I had tapas,chips and rice along with complementary lentil soup and bread with dips all beautiful,I also had baklava and sutlac for dessert also tasted fantastic.The staff are very welcoming and cater to all your needs,highly recommend

Phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere at this lovely restaurant. It’s got a nice comforting vibe with delicious treats. We had the calamari, lamb ribs, grilled halloumi x2, pistachio girit, and the octopus sote.

Our first time coming to Laz and it won’t be the last. This restaurant is fantastic everything was perfect, the bread , the dips, the starters, the mains all the way through to desserts. The staff are brilliant and as it’s only been open a couple of months they will definitely be kept very busy. My new favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Brilliant

The food is absolutely gorgeous and good sized portions. I had chicken sis which i'll order again. The service is 5 star and they made me feel like a VIP. The restaurant is very well laid out and spacious. You can enjoy a conversation with friends without worrying you are disturbing other diners. I will definitely be back as many times as possible

First time here and definitely won’t be my last , service was spot on , food was amazing , great atmosphere, will be our new go to when in the city.

Ambience very nice, restaurant rich with detailed walls and ceiling... very nice location. Staff very friendly but about the food... my goodness. Food was lovely and absolutely tasty. I will definitely comeback for another outstanding experience.

Great restaurant, staff super friendly and attentive, food delicious and perfect tapas, great for sharing. They even brought a birthday surprise which was lovely. Well worth a visit.

Apologies - should have reviewed sooner, having visited almost 2 weeks ago with my husband and 2 friends. Anyway, thank you from us all for an amazing and authentic Turkish meal. We each chose 3 different tapas and every single one of them was delicious. For me, the mussels and smoked sausage were outstanding. We each had a dessert afterwards - all of which were a treat to eat - and finished with a coffee. The quality and presentation of the food was outstanding throughout. Complimentary starters were provided at the outset, with Turkish tea and a sharing cake before the dessert. Such lovely touches! The staff could not have been more welcoming, polite or attentive. That was, without a doubt, exceptional service!! One final point - the price per head, including a glass of wine each, was unbelievably good value. My friend happened to have a discount voucher but, having seen the undiscounted total, I’d have been more than happy to pay full-price for this experience. Can highly recommend Thank you, guys - I’m already planning a return visit….

Booked a table here for my birthday meal with my partner, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating if they tried. 10/10 service with 10/10 food and consistent checks to make sure everything’s ok! Would definitely recommend, we’re already organising to go back! Ihsan knew it was my birthday and organised birthday cake.

Outstanding experience at Laz Turkish Tapas! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent-friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the mixed grill, and every piece of meat was fantastic: perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of rich, authentic flavor. We also enjoyed the soup and fresh bread, which were comforting and delicious, and finished with baklava that was sweet, flaky, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, everything from the quality of the food to the outstanding service made this a truly fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended-we'll definitely be back!

We just had a fabulous time at Laz. We were seated in a very comfortable booth by the window, the servers were so friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. The food was delicious - plenty of choice for a vegetarian and 2 meat-eaters 🥰 We were then treated to the most delicious desserts, teas and coffees. We will certainly be back! Thank you x

First visit and will definitely return... Excellent Chicken kebab... We got two and split between Two adults and one child. Staff are lovely and had a nice Turkish soft drink. Great location on Bath Street. Saw some other dishes, Lamachun looked ace.

Honestly. WOW I don’t think I’ve ever ate this much in my life! The service here was incredible, the breadbasket to start was beautiful and an unexpected addition to the absolutely stunnnning Turkish tapas to follow! They have amazing deals on as well, honestly everything that was served was 10/10. We even had dessert which I never go for but that was beautiful too as well as the Turkish tea. We visited before a show in the royal concert hall and will be sure to come back, I’ve told everyone how good it was, can’t wait to visit again, literally the best meal I’ve had in such a long time.

My family and I decided to try a new restaurant in Glasgow today so we chose Laz Turkish Tapas. I would highly recommend this place as the service is very efficient and our servers Ihsan and Kenan were highly attentive and made us feel very welcomed. We received complimentary Turkish bread, butter and soup to start off with, and continued with saksuka, lahmacun, sucuklu pide, chicken kavurma and chicken shish - which was delicious. Ending off with baklava, traditional Turkish tea and coffee seen in the pictures attached. Thank you.

We came here for dinner and honestly it was a 10/10 experience! We were served quickly and everyone was very welcoming. There was lots of complementary dishes served to us and the food was absolutely delicious! Best Turkish in Glasgow!

I came here with my friend and we REALLY loved it. I had the Octopus Tava and it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. My food came a few minutes later than my friend’s and I had to chase it, but the staff were so kind and attentive that it didn’t even matter. There was also lovely live music. We decided to stay for another round of drinks (great cocktail deals!) and they gave us some shots and melon slices too for free. We loved the kind staff and had a great time here! Will be returning when i’m next in Glasgow! RECOMMEND

I had a really nice experience, the food is really authentic and highly recommended. Went for 3 Tapas for 21£ - Tapas is a little bigger than you expect so I would say 3 Tapas and two sides are more than enough for two.

The hospitality here was just asel asel (honey honey) – absolutely amazing! The food was super delicious and the portions were perfect compared to the price. We ordered hummus with meat and got complimentary meze (teşekkür çok güzel) and a mixed grill for two… as you can see, it was more than enough for us, and we left full and happy. Big thanks to the restaurant for their warm welcome and great service!

Went for a solo date. Tried the Zinfandel rose, the wine definitely had so many flavours. Ordered halloumi and sea bass and they both were super delicious. They also serve bread in the start as nibbles that is too fresh and too yum. I would definitely recommend this place for every age group. Must go must try. The service was respectful too and the environment was pretty!

Tried Laz on a Friday afternoon after finding it by chance on Google maps. It's only been open a week but hopefully word gets around quickly and they get the business they deserve. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We tried the tapas and every one of the dishes was bursting with flavour and we were very generously given warm bread and dips on the house before the tapas arrived. The garlic prawns, stuffed vine leaves and the sucuk were my personal favourites but everything was really good. The service was some of the best you'll get anywhere in Glasgow, looking forward to going back for dinner and trying the grilled meats.

Randomly stopped in at this place and was pleasantly surprised. The food was unreal!! Everything was so fresh and tasty. The staff could also not have been more friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back! Many thanks :)

Food was really good, everything was so fresh and came out piping hot. Chicken shish kebab skewer was number one for me. The staff here were all really friendly and attentive. They treated us to a free cake and Turkish tea. Would 100% recommend

Came in for a quick bite. Complimentary items (lentil soup, bread & tea) were superb. The tapas items ordered: spicy tomato salad and Adana were also top notch and the prices were extremely reasonable. Friendly service goes without saying. Overall really enjoy my experience and would recommend to anyone interested

Fantastic! Genuine Turkish delicious food, fresh products used, good yeni raki, one of the best baklavas I’ve ever tried. Service is exquisite. Very friendly staff and atmosphere. Good price for what you get. Kitchen closes late. Absolutely recommend, and would say, it is a must try in Glasgow. Thank you so much, guys. Looking forward to come back.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Complimentary soup and warm bread that tasted out of this world. Followed by the mixed platter for two... the meat was soft and juicy and very flavoursome. The salad was fresh and zingy, the dips were smooth and complimented the meat and rice beautifully. We finished off with Complimentary Turkish tea and a complimentary apple sour, lovely. They have a great wine list and I observed other dishes being served and everyone looked as tasty as the next. Would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were very attentive warm and friendly

Delicious food and wonderful service; we had the amazing cocktail and tapas deals. The cocktails were delicious and clearly used the finest ingredients. The food was excellent; the mini şiş, halloumi, and sautéed potatoes were particular highlights. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and even gave us complimentary starters and an 'digestif'. Highly recommended.

Stumbled accross this amazing restraunt.in advance of seeing a show at the pavillion. Most friendly welcome from front of house, interior just beautiful! The food was outstanding they even automatically bring you fresh water, bread and dipping sauces in advance of your order. My husband and I will definitely be back with our family. The complimentary shot at the end of the meal went down well too. Staff are all amazing 👏

We chose Laz Turkish Tapas for our Valentine's dinner. This was our first visit here. Also first visit to a Turkish tapas restaurant. Great idea if you want a taste of most dishes in smaller portions. Great atmosphere with live music. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, very fresh and just the right flavours of Turkish cuisine 👌we also got some complimentary side dishes and dessert to share from the owner. Thank you for your great service guys. Brought my parents here for a meal as we enjoyed it so much the last time my partner and I come. The food is beyond good, we ordered 12 tapas plates between 4 of us, a solid favourite was the chicken wings, lazanya, lamb kebab and the gosuk. The staff are so attentive and cannot do more for you. We got complimentary desert nd turkish tea! William was our server and we couldn't be more complimentary towards him

The food here was fabulous, second to none. Had 6 tapas between 2, they also gave complimentary soup with bread and dips. My favourite was between the seabass marine and the mini lamb ribs, would get all the six choices I had again , but will try others in future as will so be back. The service was really good, nice friendly people.
