Amazing experience! Attentive, friendly service , GREAT happy hour and bartender….. friendly waitstaff, delicious cocktails, food was incredible— can’t say enough good things ! Had the best time, will definitely be coming back and will add this restaurant to the regular rotation!! FRESH, delicious seafood …perfectly seared steak… delightful cocktails… decadent desserts, crème brûlée is my favorite and this one was fabulous !! .. conveniently located .. 10/10 😀

Had the pleasure of dining at Taste & Sea tonight. I'm a big fan of calamari. Even though there was a special calamari dish I stuck with the original on the menu. It did not disappoint. The calamari was delicious and the chimichurri that was served with it was outstanding! Little did I know that they currently have a Wednesday three course meal for $49. I selected a caesar salad, sesame encrusted tuna, and creme Brule. All were wonderful. The tuna was perfectly seared and flavorful and it came with a side. No a la cart purchases required! I added pictures but they dont do the food justice. You just don't get this type of quality for the price elsewhere. I will definitely be going back. Often.

Came here for a relaxing night out with my wife. It was our first time here. I ordered the venison she ordered the lobster. The food was delicious and the staff was great. We will be returning.

SO WORTH IT! This restaurant sits in a very unassuming location but you need to go here!!! We had tuna & salmon and both were insanely delicious. The entire atmosphere along with our server, Jaden, provided a terrific evening. The drinks were also perfecto! Well worth every dollar. Thank you for an amazing experience.

We have been there twice. Everything that we tasted was amazing!! The Risotto was my favorite. The dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back again!!

Phenomenal! Definitely closer to "fine dining" than you'll find in the area, and the prices are extraordinarily fair for the quality and experience. Thoroughly enjoyable and we'll be back in the near future!

Beautiful restaurant, food is exceptional. Tenderness calamari I've had in a long time. Deconstructed beef wellington was also superb.

Visited Taste & Sea to celebrate my birthday. There were 4 adults and one 9 month old. We were pleasantly greeted and given options for seating bc we had a baby with us (we went early 4:30). All staff were exceptional! Drinks were great, appetizers delicious and are meals were excellent! We had raw oysters/clams, lobster bisque & lamb chop appetizers. Venison, filet, surf and turf and rib eye for entrees. It was a great experience from the minute we walked in the door until we left. We never felt rushed and waiter was very attentive. We will definitely be back.

Taste & Sea: A Hidden Gem in Glen Mills! I recently discovered a true gem in Glen Mills, PA - Taste & Sea! From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The happy hour specials are unbeatable, offering delicious bites and handcrafted cocktails at amazing prices. But the real star of the show is Reenie, the talented bartender. Not only is she incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, but her espresso martini is simply divine - a perfect blend of flavors and a must-try! The food is equally impressive. Every dish I've tried has been a flavor explosion. The fresh seafood is cooked to perfection, and the unique twists on classic dishes are a delightful surprise. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience in Glen Mills, look no further than Taste & Sea. You won't be disappointed!

We had the pleasure of dining this evening at their restaurant. We got there early and enjoyed sitting at the bar. The food & drinks were both amazing. Our bartender Brianne (sp) made the best Cosmo & maple cinnamon old fashion. We were fortunate to meet the owner (Chrissy) sorry for the spelling, who was extremely welcoming and conversational. We will definitely be back again to enjoy a dinner. I would recommend giving this a try!

Just want to say after reading this post and all the recommendations, we have a list of places the wife and I plan to try. Tonight for our 27th anniversary (we’re not really that old are we?), we chose Taste & Sea Seafood, Steaks, Libations. I can’t speak to which is the best and we all have our opinions, but every part of this evening was perfect. We made reservations, although probably not necessary for Thursday. We arrived early for drinks at the bar. The bartender was great and cocktails were delicious. We checked out the patio that we had reserved but decided inside would be quieter (road noise). The host had no problem switching us and remembered it was our anniversary from the online reservation. Once seated, John our waiter was the perfect mix of attentive and not in our face. He was fun, engaging, and informative. We had lobster bisque and roasted Brussels sprouts for starters. Having lived in the Virgin Islands, the lobster bisque rivaled any 5 star restaurant there. We enjoyed steak, lobster and crab cake for our entrees. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious. Yes, my steaks on the grill are better 😉 but for a special night out, I can’t recommend Taste & Sea in Glen Mills more highly.

We have now been to Taste and Sea several times. We have brought family and friends along and everyone has had great experiences. Each time we go, we try something new. I have been impressed with the food and atmosphere. The owners and staff are extremely attentive and make it feel like a more relaxed fine dining experience…it’s like you are dining with friends…it’s not stuffy. The food has truly been so yummy! I steal from my husbands plate every time because I can never decide what to get! The pork chops have been my favorite so far and the cocktails have been top shelf as well (try the old fashioned and the spicy marg) Don’t wait for a special occasion, make any day an occasion by stopping in here and enjoying some delicious food!

I have been here serveral times. Last night was the first time I sat on the beautiful outside patio. Started at the inside bar, which was tended by John. He is very professional, friendly and accomodating. I rarely order a drink without specific "instructions" as to how I like my drink. He did exactly what I asked, without having a bad attitude, like many bar tenders. The Whiskey sour was delicious and not Pre-made like most bars. I ate, while at the bar, a wonderful Mushroom flatbread. Unlike most flatbreads I have had in the past, this was perfectly done! Correct amount of cheese and mushroom ratio to the bread itself. Nice plump, Fresh, mushrooms, definitely not of the canned variety! No skimping on the shrooms!! My friends joining me got scallops with Risotto and Pork Chop Tenderloin. I tried both. Both dishes were AMAZINGLY crafted by the owner and chef, John! I am not a huge fan of pork chops,usually, but this one was thick, moist and perfectly cooked! I wish I had taken pictures of the food. Everything was right on point! They had a very large crowd on the patio last night, as there was a very good trio playing. I'm not sure they were quite prepared for all of the guests last night, but the owners and staff did a great job tending to everyone's needs, considering the crowd! If you haven't tried this place yet, please do yourself a favor and give it a test run. If you are looking for actual great food from a Delco restaurant, this is the place to find it!! I wish this little gem of a restarurant the best of luck and future success!

We (4 persons) had dinner at Taste & Sea recently and it was wonderful. As a table we shared the amazing appetizer Truffle Roasted Brussel Sprouts. A large plate of sprouts came to the table, enough for everyone, and it was perfectly cooked and flavored. Our table also enjoyed Cioppino, Sea Scallops, Tuna, and Salmon. Everyone happy and we'll be back!

Everything was delicious. Went on a Thursday and we were surprised to have the place to ourselves. Recommend the lamb chops And the scallops!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding from Start to Finish —Our New Favorite! Everything we tried here was exceptional! The barramundi is flawless (crispy skin, tender and flavorful), but the prime rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender with perfect seasoning, the surf and turf was an indulgent dream (steak and lobster done right), and the Scottish salmon was rich and beautifully prepared. Started with their homemade soups—comforting and hearty—and those fresh rolls? Warm, buttery perfection. Lilly, our server, was fantastic: attentive, warm, and made the whole experience even better. We tipped extra because the food and service truly deserved it! Highly recommend for any occasion. We can’t wait to return! 🍖🦞🐟🥣

Afternoon tea was delightful and delicious! The food was phenomenal and the tea selections were outstanding. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would highly recommend Taste & Sea. We will be back soon!

The happy hour menu is fabulous. We had things on the happy hour menu and some not. Crabcake sliders were really good, but the rolls were just OK. Seared tuna was delicious. The wine list is great and the drinks are perfect and great prices during happy hour. Have not eaten there yet for dinner in the regular dining room but we will for sure. So we highly recommend.

WOW! First time there. Definitely not the last. I haven't eaten such fresh crab cocktail and steak that tastes like how a steak used to taste. Lily our server was perfect! And Anna stopped by to ensure that we were happy. Great experience. Look forward to being so spoiled again.

Excellent experience at their high tea event! All items were fresh and delicious. Staff was organized and friendly. The tea offerings were exceptional. Can’t wait to return for dinner!

I’ve had three solid meals here. It’s locally owned, and the food quality is top-tier. Skylar made the best espresso martini I’ve ever had.

Sat at the bar tonight service was great. Bartender makes the best old fashioned I have had in a long time. He really does a great job! I highly recommend.

You are certainly missing out if you have not visited this restaurant. It may be a bit out-of-the-way, but it is worth your time in trouble to visit it. Service is wonderful. Staff is fabulous but even better than that. The food is magnificent. Cannot complain about anything and will be going back soon.

We tried Taste of the Sea for the first time this evening. He was an unforgettable experience. We had appetizers, salads, entrée, and dessert. Each one was as good as the next. I had the blackened barramundi and my wife had the scallops. Everything was delicious. Our server, Darcy, was very pleasant, attentive and helpful. My husband was celebrating his birthday and the entire staff showed tremendous appreciation. We definitely recommend Taste of the Sea the next time you’re looking for a fine dining experience.

We really enjoyed our experience on a Wed night. It was not very busy this night, but it enabled us to talk with Chrissy and John, the owners. They are really committed to creating the best experience- food, drink and ambiance. Reenie was our bartender who made great drinks and conversation. John was our waiter and was great as well. I had the salmon which was delicious. My husband had the filet mignon with awesome Demi glaze. His portion was a bit smaller than expected but certainly enough for a great meal. We took the choc cake dessert home with us and it was excellently wrapped and scrumptious at home. The HH is really good and the entertainment plans look very inviting. We will be back!

This was our second visit to Taste and Sea for Happy Hour and it was a great experience. The bartenders, Joe and Alonzo were fantastic. The bar food was excellent. We had the Loaded Calamari, Ahi Tuna, and on the recommendation of another patron, the Truffled Brussel Sprouts. We are planning a return visit next week and are bringing friends.

Loved everything about our dining experience!! From the welcoming hostess and kind coat check to the beautiful dining room to the attentive waiter, Taste and Sea is a first class establishment. Our food and drinks were amazing! The taste, the plating, and the choices!!! We loved the lump crab au gratin, steak special, and chicken cordon bleu! The wine selection was wonderful as was the pomegranate martini. Wow!!! We will be back to try more!! Such a fantastic restaurant!!!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time. It was outstanding. I had the Scottish bourbon salmon. It was so incredibly delicious. My husband had the filet and he ate every bite. We shared the wedge salad. The dressing was creamy with blue cheese chunks, cherry tomatoes, bacon and a wedge of egg. Also yummy. The atmosphere was quiet, and romantic. Our server, John, was attentive without being intrusive. We had a wonderful evening. I would highly recommend Taste and Sea. A wonderful dining experience.

Wow! Just what we were looking for! My boys all love steak-which was perfectly cooked, I love seafood. We had the lump crab cocktail with the best cocktail sauce ever (ask for it) and the *deconstructed beef Wellington as an appetizer (great idea). The ribeye my son had was “the best he ever had” and he is a true foodie! My husband had the venison based on a recommendation and he and I were both amazed by the flavors. We got to meet the local owners that were so sweet! Even had live music tonight on Friday that was such a nice treat. We will be back!! ( probably Friday 😂)

Fabulous food, service and highly accessible. The Venison Diane melts in your mouth…everyone in my party was equally impressed with their respective selections…can’t wait to get back!

We tried Taste & Sea for the first time and were really impressed. Everything from the food to the service was spot on. We ordered the tuna poke, lobster carbonara, oysters, and calamari, and every dish was excellent. The tuna poke was fresh and flavorful, the oysters were delicious and fresh, and the calamari was light and crispy. The lobster carbonara was the standout for us. Service was great throughout the meal, and the bartender was especially friendly and welcoming. They also have some really good happy hour specials, which makes it an even better spot to check out. If you’re looking for a new local place to try, we’d definitely recommend Taste & Sea. We’ll be back!

We went here after getting a gift card for Christmas. We got calamari as a starter, cooked perfectly, tender with a lightly crispy crust. My entree was barramundi and shrimp while my husband got chicken cordon bleu, again cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were just right, enough to be satisfied without feeling too full or still hungry. Prices were appropriate given the quality of food and service.

Visited another new place on the weekend. Taste & Sea Seafood, Steaks, Libations. I had very high hopes since Google Maps reviews are at 4.9 (but I noticed just before we left for dinner that Yelp was at 4.0). Which rating do I agree with? The vibe was okay but I would say mostly reminding me of a seafood place at the shore (“a little too blue”). It also was a little cold throughout the restaurant (although we were told it was 70). Service was excellent (thanks Jayden!). I had the “okay” mushroom soup (slightly lumpy and too much cream; not as good Iron Hill’s Brewery which oddly is my favorite). My entree was Venison Diane with fingerling potatoes and a mustard/mushroom sauce. I liked this very much although ever so slightly under-seasoned but cooked to a perfect temperature. I finished with apple crisp. I told Evan and Ginny that my favorite apple crisp was what we were served in high school, so go figure! This was not that. Mostly oats as the “crisp” and seemed to be lacking the butter and brown sugar to bring the topping together. Evan said his scallops were perfectly cooked but the risotto was only lukewarm and had a really odd taste. Ginny tried a few appetizers and they all seemed fine. The standout she ordered were the scalloped potatoes. I tried some and they were phenomenal!!! So was the experience more Google Maps or Yelp? Definitely more Yelp, but worth another try!

Have been to this place several times and can vouch that it offers the best happy hour drinks and a delicious menu. They serve top-shelf alcohol during happy hour, which is rare. The happy hour food isn’t precooked —it’s as fresh and tasty as the dinner menu. In fact, the happy hour food is so good, it led me to try items from the dinner menu. The crab cakes are absolutely delicious and my favorite. In addition, the bar tenders are very pleasant.

I came here for Valentine's Day dinner. I know this day is always slammed for restaurants, but service was actually pretty good! Our waitress did a good job. I got the calamari, crab cakes and the blueberry crisp. The calamari was good, and the crab cakes were fine (I've had better), the crisp was pretty bad. The crumble on it didn't even taste like it was cooked, just tasted like raw oatmeal and brown sugar. My husband also didn't like his raspberry cake. Maybe skip the desserts if you come here.

our first time to this place and it was fine. it’s a funky little place and the people who work there were very nice. we sat in the bar area. great live music! we had several apps and drinks and a few entrees. the brussels, salmon and lobster carbonara were good. the rest was just ok. do not get the crab dip. its still relatively new so maybe they will continue to tweak their food. worth trying.

Very average. My husband and I dined there recently on a Saturday night. Everything about the place was average. My husband had the cioppino. The sauce was good but nothing to rave about - clams, mussels and a couple of shrimp. The portion size was small. I had crab cakes. They were good but again very average. Not much filler was used but they also had very little flavor. Service was average to below average. When my husband ordered a second glass of wine to drink with dinner, the waiter did not bring it out until after we finished our meal (15 minutes after it was requested). All in all, value was below average. A meal for 2 with one glass of wine and no appetizers or dessert was about $100. Nothing about this restaurant made me want to come back anytime soon.

The atmosphere is upper crust and elegant, and there was live music. The server was very attentive. The dinner rolls were like previously frozen parker house rolls from the grocery store, and the butter served was a whipped and piped unsalted sweetened butter with tiny and sparse chives mixed in. My partner and his father enjoyed their steak dinners and lobster tail. I ordered the rainbow trout special, and it was bland and overcooked, so I had to send it back. The food was priced as though it were a two Michelin star establishment, with dishes ranging about $30-50, which seems very expensive for what you get.

My scallops where bitter, my desert was dry,dinner took over 2 1/2 to get through without us delaying anything . Others had steak that was amazing and im not a steak guy. The waitress did not volunteer refills . I had to ask for refills 4 times,I didn't even get the asparagus that was supposed to get with the meal. I quietly dealt with it and left . I probably won't go back especially considering the price we paid for the meal
