King Taco in Glendale has really good food and excellent service—everything I ordered was delicious, and the staff were friendly and efficient. My only issue was with parking: even though I paid at the kiosk, I still received a parking ticket, which was frustrating. Hopefully they can improve how the parking is monitored. Other than that, it’s a great spot for tasty tacos and a quick bite!

King Taco treated me with the rarest of miraculous gifts - a nearly empty restaurant in the afternoon with no customer line waiting. It was a deep pleasure I haven't enjoyed in LA for nearly all my 50 years here; it was like snowfall in Socal, a chimerical happening.

As a non-native speaker, I must remind you, using a little Spanish goes a long long way. Just used what little words I could, and the folks were very delighted. Service was GREAT! Taste of the food isn't bad, but of course the original is the best. Still, this place isn't bad. Plus, their sauces are actually spicy! Best of all, tons of seats and lots of space to eat in. Not bad on a Monday morning. Best of all, food came out pretty fast.

1st time visiting The Burnt State since 1996 when it was still The Golden State. 1st think on the list was going to King Taco. Tacos were ok not what I remember, but the location was great, the atmosphere is nice and clean. Service is also good.

My cousins 1st time at king taco. His favorite food was the chicharon tacos! The red hot salsa is the best and extra spicy. King taco is my favorite place to get tacos. Sopes we’re delicious and this place wasn’t packed so I enjoyed eating here.

Founded in 1974 by Raul Martinez Sr. King Taco is a fast-food restaurant chain based in Los Angeles, California, serving soft tacos, burritos, sopes, tamales, nachos, and authentic Mexican drinks such as horchata, jamaica, and tamarindo. Some locations also serve rotisserie chicken. I've personally had King taco maybe 4 times, I got my first taste from a friend who drove all way from the bay just to give them a try. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat the burrito right away (doesn't count). The 2nd time was the DTLA location honestly, I wasn't fond of the flavorless tacos. I had friends in town craving King Taco, the nearest location was Mountain Ave, in Ontario. A bit toasted from the night before, I was looking forward to a greasy flavorful taco. Again, a bit disappointed in the tacos. I didn't understand the hype..... I was in area and thought, let's give them ONE LAST TRY. #Bestdecisionevermade The carne asada combo burrito was scrumptious. The combo of carne, rice and beans were perfect, not too much or little of something, know what I mean? The flavor profile was absolutely delish when paired with the verde. The only down side was that they do not have extra slices of lemon or lime.

Nothing terribly special about this place. Good basic mexican food. Pretty much what you'd expect. Close to my hotel.

The food is great but management here is poor. They have one cashier for a queue of 10+ people. It took 15 minutes to take my order and another 15 to serve my food.

The wait was lengthy, indeed. The food was satisfactory. Service could be improved. We intend to attempt visiting again on our next trip here.

The ordertaker in my opinion was too old to be taking orders and on the register. She messed my order up and the Manager quickly resolved the issue by making my burrito personally. Everything on was room temperature, the burrito shell was right out the bag hard with grittness on it like flour he didn't warm it to make it soft and chewy instead it was hard and fell apart with each bite. The combo meat's weren't flavorful and some of the beans weren't cooked all the way. I've had better frozen $1.00 burritos but this one cost $12.10. She got the drink right but the whole experience was vexing to me and I didn't get any napkins plus the Manager address me as sir and I don't hardly look like a man he was just being insulting to me. Made a horrible cold burrito with a raw tasting shell . I give this place a 2 because it's super clean other than that food isn't authentic or tasty but the drink was good.

I experienced what felt like racial discrimination here. I am Asian, and my friend and I ordered two tacos and one cheese tamale. A customer who ordered more food than us received their order before we did, while we had to wait about an hour and a half. We kept asking when our food would be ready, but we were only told to keep waiting. On top of that, the cheese tamale I received was the worst I’ve ever had. It was completely dried out and tasted terrible. This was a very disappointing experience.

This was my first time at this Glendale king taco, now if you know king taco the asada meat sometimes comes with some white type of chewy meat but you might find one or two pieces in your burrito. This time I came here every single bite was chewy meat, I tried to eat it as I love king taco but after several bites and all the chewy meat I had to put aside after every bite I decided I couldn’t so I ended up letting the manager know and they were nice and offer me chicken or al pastor but I only like the asada meat. By far the worst king taco I have ever gone too.

I used to love coming here to eat for lunch but now there getting really stingie with there salsas and food quality has gone down. Paid almost $35 for 1 burrito and 7 tacos and the lady only wanted to give me 4 salsas. Which is ridiculous and had attitude the whole time.

My husband and were just here at the King Taco in Glendale. No one here speaks English! The woman in the front is not trained well. She can't speak English then has an attitude because she can not communicate. My husband asked her for the hot drink atole and this person didn't know what that was. This is pathetic the staff MUST SPEAK ENGLISH!!

I really like all the other King Tacos locations, but this one sucks! Asked for No beans on all three burritos... got lots of beans on all burritos! Took another15 minutes after getting our food for us to receive the nachos. The restroom was nasty, boogers on the walls and piss all over the toilet seat, it smelled bad. It was dead here, hardly anyone coming in or out. Asked to purchase a gift card and the lady at the register didn't speak English... she just kept pointing at the debit card swiper. Finally she asked another of her coworkers what I was saying. Then refused to sell me one unless I pay in cash. Overall a weird vibe here. When we first got in line another customer was wondering why they were charging him for asking for an extra salsa. Now I remember why we haven't been here in awhile. It jogged my memory that they always get our order wrong.

Last time I checked, Carne Asada was supposed to be made out of steak, but I guess they think it’s onions and cilantro. 😕 I would’ve asked for a refund or something, but I had already started to drive away The second burrito was only beans and rice. You need to microscope to find the meat.
