I lived in Goleta from 1997-2000 as a 26 yo kid and this was a regular stop back in the day. I've stopped in every time I'm in town and have always enjoyed the great food and service. Now my son is at UCSB so I've passed the torch. Thank you Jerry and Rafa for the great food over the years!

Just moved here and had not eaten all day and the server made sure to take care of me and by bf! The tacos were huge and reasonably priced! I really liked the tri tip more than the chicken. Will make sure to come here again!

Everything we had was delicious and I absolutely want to try the tri tip next time. The food was fresh, the tortillas homemade, and the salsas spicy. One of hidden gems in Goleta. I only have one suggestion for the chefs at this restaurant, the ribs would be that much better if they removed the membrane underneath. It’s easy and quick to do, so I hope they are able to in the future. Aside from that, love this unassuming place.

This is a great Mexican style restaurant. People will always compare Pollofino to Chicken Ranch but they are completely different styles and flavors in my opinion. When we go to Pollofino we usually get the chicken and rib plates to bring back home. The chicken plates come with several pieces of chicken, tortillas, rice and beans so you can make your own tacos. They have a great salsa bar as well. Very casual local place that I highly recommend.

I started coming here in 1997 when I got a job just down the street after the Marine Corps. Jerry was always fun to chat with, and the guy who is running the place worked their back then. The chicken and burritos are amazing, always fresh. I've never been disappointed after a meal here and I stop in whenever I'm back in Santa Barbara.

Friendly place, not cheap but in this case you get what you pay for. This ain't a fast food place. Kind of reminds me of SB Chicken Ranch, but with a larger menu selection. I ordered Combo 1, which was one quarter bird and one quarter tri tip with rice and beans. The chicken was very good, but the tri tip was just okay. I do want to try the ribs next time.

Chicken was really good and the portion size was great.

Nothing special but if you are in the area and want some chicken n beans n rice it’s fast hot and plenty of food. Restaurant is boring and needs a little excitement, Food can be dazzled up a bit. Taste was 7 out of 10. Ribs a little chewy, chicken pretty good, beans and rice very good, tortillas stiffened up quickly out of tinfoil wrap, so my guess not freshly made to order. Salsas good. Chicken salad pretty good. Nice avocados.

Great food, unfortunately they didn't put guac in my burrito like I had asked and they still charged me extra for the guac.. so I paid $17 (tip included) for a chicken bean and cheese burrito 🫤
