Best burritos in SB county. The wet burrito deluxe is phenomenal. The meat is extremely well cooked and the ingredients are top notch! Very friendly service and great salsa bar. If you love Mexican food and love delicious grilled meats nobody beats Jerry’s Pollofino. Probably the best restaurant in Goleta. The homemade chips are delicious as well some of best around. Ola! Gracias! They do delivery also on most apps.
This is a family owned authentic Mexican cuisine cafes. We were just passing through on our road trip and so glad we stopped here!!! The most delicious rice and beans in the burrito I have ever had!!!! Home made guacamole just with the right amount of spice and kick and texture for a “gringo”. A gem of a place at a very reasonable price!
This restaurant has been in the Goleta area for more than 30 years. The ribs are very juice and tender. They have a salsa bar with different levels of spiciness. Please try the grill jalapenos if you like super level of hotness. They also had a good selection of drinks from snapple to Mexican drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Get the deluxe burrito. It has been one of my favorites for around 30 years now. Even my daughter says it's the beat burrito she has ever had. Her only regret is not getting two.

I lived in Goleta from 1997-2000 as a 26 yo kid and this was a regular stop back in the day. I've stopped in every time I'm in town and have always enjoyed the great food and service. Now my son is at UCSB so I've passed the torch. Thank you Jerry and Rafa for the great food over the years!

Just moved here and had not eaten all day and the server made sure to take care of me and by bf! The tacos were huge and reasonably priced! I really liked the tri tip more than the chicken. Will make sure to come here again!
Everything we had was delicious and I absolutely want to try the tri tip next time. The food was fresh, the tortillas homemade, and the salsas spicy. One of hidden gems in Goleta. I only have one suggestion for the chefs at this restaurant, the ribs would be that much better if they removed the membrane underneath. It’s easy and quick to do, so I hope they are able to in the future. Aside from that, love this unassuming place.

This is a great Mexican style restaurant. People will always compare Pollofino to Chicken Ranch but they are completely different styles and flavors in my opinion. When we go to Pollofino we usually get the chicken and rib plates to bring back home. The chicken plates come with several pieces of chicken, tortillas, rice and beans so you can make your own tacos. They have a great salsa bar as well. Very casual local place that I highly recommend.
I started coming here in 1997 when I got a job just down the street after the Marine Corps. Jerry was always fun to chat with, and the guy who is running the place worked their back then. The chicken and burritos are amazing, always fresh. I've never been disappointed after a meal here and I stop in whenever I'm back in Santa Barbara.

Taste was 7 out of 10. Ribs a little chewy, chicken pretty good, beans and rice very good, tortillas stiffened up quickly out of tinfoil wrap, so my guess not freshly made to order. Salsas good. Chicken salad pretty good. Nice avocados.

Great food, unfortunately they didn't put guac in my burrito like I had asked and they still charged me extra for the guac.. so I paid $17 (tip included) for a chicken bean and cheese burrito 🫤
Mexican food in Goleta apparently is graded on a severe curve. This place had beaming reviews but I've had better burritos at airports. Chicken had zero flavor and was dry despite the burrito being soggy. Crappy shredded cheddar cheese inside wasn't even melted. On the smaller side for a $15 burrito. Would highly not recommend.

Carne asada tacos were bland. Tortilla were not hand made. Ribs were chewy. The guacamole was okay. The tastiest thing was the roasted tomato salsa.
