This was our second visit for Dinner…and we can’t wait for dinner three. Their standard menu includes a plethora of classic Italian dishes (some with a twist) and a generous selection of specials listed on a second menu all served up by a seasoned and friendly staff. No disappointments!
Had two Excellent dinners on separate occasions: selecting the Tuesday special lasagna and the regularly available ravioli on Sunday. Both were very delicious, but the ravioli was prepared with a brown butter sauce, which was unique and outstanding! Great service was provided by the manager, Scott. Thank you!
My partner and I came here last night for his birthday, and our waitress was Lauren who did such an amazing job making our dinner very special for the occasion. She was also knowledgeable and helpful with helping me decide between a few different entrees I was considering. She’s an absolute gem, and so pleasant and friendly. The food was very good too, we ate almost every bite. 10/10 would totally recommend!
Came to visit and came across this restaurant, very nice atmosphere great service and great food. We tried 3 different pastas all 3 very delicious. Scott was out server ,he was very attentive and friendly. Price range was fair .
Had an amazing dinner and dessert with my daughter tonight. Osso bucco, ravioli, tiramisu, cannoli. Loved it
This is our first time in this Italian restaurant. It had a nice ambiance. It had outdoor seating; however, it was chilly especially during dinner so we sat inside & had a view of the open cooking area. Our server was very nice and she spoke Italian to the other staff which gave the place an authentic atmosphere. They had good wine selection, though on the expensive side even for a glass of wine. We enjoyed our appetizers, entrees, and dessert.
The risotto was excellent! The gnocchi was delicious! Desserts were fresh and tasted amazing! Staff was super friendly!
Love this place! Our servers were Aleksander (yes, I think the spelling is correct) and George (not his European name, but close). The food was excellent and the wine list was extensive. The restaurant is larger than you see from the entrance area with plenty of space in the dining room. Service was excellent and at a slow pace to allow us to enjoy a wonderful meal. We look forward to a return visit the next time we are in town.
At first, was hesistant to give it a try after hearing rather mixed reviews about the place, but I was glad I tried it. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was great. Their sottocenere was my favorite. Was glad to know we didn't always have to go downtown for some Italian food.

Ca’Dario Review I love going to a restaurant when I’m truly hungry — it makes the experience that much better. Walking into Ca’Dario and seeing familiar faces always makes me feel like a regular. The staff’s recommendations never disappoint, and this time the white lasagna was pure royalty — rich, decadent, and absolutely divine. Every bite felt like a trip to Italy. Goleta truly has a gem!
First time visit with my daughter and son-in-law. They raved about the place. They were not lying. Awesome food and service.

Solid Italian Food. ☛Large portions, can definitely share many of the items. ☛Good wine list. Pricey but solid. ☛Nice setting, especially love the patio! ☛Bread service is nice with olive oil, basalmic, and fresh shredded cheese. ☛Servers were not as attentive as one would expect (was not busy when we were there) with the exception of bussing staff who rocked it. ☛Plenty of free parking in lot.
Plenty of seating, different eating areas sectioned off. Busy, contemporary feel. The clam and pasta dish was confused with no flavor or wine sauce. It was basically clams and pasta with clam juice and nothing else. Meatballs were a bit on the dry side. Caesar salad was crunchy, though it lacked anchovies. Nice wine list, nice menu, and great team service. The pizza dough was excellent though it needed more pizza sauce to balance with the thick mozzarella.
This place seems family owned so i was hoping for a little more heart. Food was well presented but just ok. Sat at the bar and service was nice but bare minimum. Not sure I'll be back.
Enjoyed an early dinner. The food was delicious. I enjoyed a seafood risotto that had plenty of shrimp, crab, and scallops. Portions are not huge, but plenty for one person, and very flavorful. Service was very good. The four people we interacted with from the time we arrived until the time we left were helpful and pleasant. While I have enjoyed better Italian food in the past, this was very good and I would recommend it.

Been here several times. Some dishes and desserts are delicious. Although there are constant flies almost every time I have been here. The last time was intense and flies landed on my food. Change seats didn’t work. The waitress said I could get a substitute new dish but other than this, there is nothing they can do—because they can’t close the door. I couldn’t enjoy my meal because I need to keep waving the flies away.
Ordered the tartare appetizer, a pasta, and a pizza. The tartare and pasta were decent, but the pizza was a miss. Pretty soggy/damp and folded in on itself while eating it. Toppings on the pizza just kinda thrown on, with half of some slices having no toppings while all the toppings were clumped in the center. For a relatively expensive place, the atmosphere felt quite casual and the table was super wobbly.

I have tried to support this place as much as I can over the years, because we need some good restaurants on this side of town. The food IS consistently good here. But I have had it with the greediness! I ordered their Tortellacci pasta tonight 'to go' for dinner, and this is what I got. I put my hand in this picture for size reference. And my hands are quite small! This was a TINY leftovers size tin that was only about a QUARTER full. It is ridiculous to pay $30 for an entree, and to still be super hungry after eating it. That's the bottom line here. It took me about 5 minutes to eat this little bit of pasta (the tiny bites of ham seem like just a garnish), and no bread or anything came with this meal. (It's actually a huge stretch to call this a meal.) I know prices are high everywhere, but $30 for an appetizer size amount of PASTA is way over the top. And I am still so hungry. You may have just lost a loyal customer for good
So, I come here for business a lot and have tried here a couple times, now. Last time was 3 stars for me, spinach and Bolognese is not a good mix in my opinion. But the sauce was delicious. So this time I tried the Bolognese with a different pasta noodle, still a 3, it was too oily. However, I decided to try their homemade Patate Fritte with truffle oil and Parmesan, for $11.50, and the below picture is all I got , and no truffle oil. I think I got a two dollar side of fries for a kids meal from McDonalds. These are not homemade fries these are absolutely frozen fries that came from a bag. This is a zero star, so I’m compromising and settling on a 2, because the atmosphere and the bar service was great. Have to say, this was not a great experience.

I don't understand what happened. The pizza was good the drinks were good unfortunately the waitress sucked and our main course was chicken and it was chewy. But the food took forever to get to the table the service was extremely slow and we were extremely hungry, it was just a major disappointment after a long day. it seems like it had a good menu maybe it was just a bad night but definitely bad service. We probably should've just eaten at the bar.
Most disappointing dining experience I’ve had in a very long time. I had heard good things about this restaurant and decided to get the eggplant and Caesar salad. The eggplant was bland and basically a mozzarella soup. The Caesar salad was also far below mediocre. I make a better Caesar dressing myself. I made the mistake of thinking that their very high price point would equal quality but the service was equally below par.
Wow I can hardly express how disappointing this place is. We’ve tried it before but thought maybe we’d do better and we were tired so ordered a Gluten Free pizza to go. Terrible! Very small, crust was essentially a dry matzah cracker! Tasteless. thin and stale. There was three tablespoons of tomato- no cheese, no sauce sprinkling of arugula and a smattering of prosciutto. Never had a more bland -pizza. well I don’t even call it pizza! It was closer to a leftover cracker with a bite of salad on top. The place was absolutely empty too- now we know why- $30 for that? Larceny! Walk over to lily’s or try fasting. We’re still hungry, and now feel like we were swindled as well. 🤢😵💫 never again.
