Absolutely gorgeous food. Had la taberna salad followed by a warm scone with jam and cream. Service was fast and efficient even thought it was just one chap serving all the tables. Friendly and nice atmosphere in a lovely setting. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend.

Oh, das war echt eine Überraschung...... Nach einer kleinen Shopping Runde in der Nachbarschaft hatten wir Lust noch etwas zu trinken und fanden diesen kleinen Schatz. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterin war außergewöhnlich und sie hatte ein ansteckendes Lächeln..... Wir entschieden uns für einen Kaffee und für den Cheesecake.... Der Kaffee war Kaffee ABER der Kuchen war der Hammer. Absolut empfehlenswert, aber hat Suchtpotenzial 😉 Die ganze Atmosphäre war wirklich sehr gut und gechilled. Süß sind die Schlüsselanhaenger für die Toilette, ein Muss für jeden Disney Fan. Lasst euch überraschen......

Found this place when out walking in the morning, I was staying up at Fantasia, ended up having a coffee every morning I was there, chatting with Alex and the two Scottish gents who come for a coffee every morning, lovely place with brilliant coffee and popped in for lunch one day and it was brilliant. Thank you for your hospitality all week Alex and I look forward to having a coffee with you next year when I’m there :)

Great food, friendly staff, reasonable prices but would welcome an area for smokers and vapers absolutely hate it when your in the middle of a lovely meal and the table next to you all light up, better still do as some other local restaurants have done, ban it, surely it must be illegal anyway.

The best salad I have had for years Lashings of smoked salmon on a crispy cold iceberg dome topped with a giant prawn. Beautifully circled with thin slices of apple,red onion,tomato and cucumber and lots of it. Fabulous. Good friendly service

Wish I’d found this place earlier in the week. Got fed up with hotel half board and just fancied a bit of homemade food, in this case scone, jam and cream. And proper Scottish/English tea. Bliss. Will be back.

I have been going here for years. One of the first places I visit on the island. It is a family run bar/restaurant that has lasted the test of time on Golf del Sur. They have a Great selection of drinks, Coffees, juices and food. My partner loves the iced coffee, always drinks it with a smile on her face. The breakfast, salads, and prawns in garlic are a great choice. Alex is very helpful and is Great to have a chat with. He seems to build great rapport with the clientele. Most of the seating is outside with options of shade and sun. It is clean, well run, and the food and drinks are fresh. Shame I didn’t get a Sangria this time. They looked amazing. See you next year. Thanks for everything!

Nous avions mangé à La Taberna plusieurs fois durant notre voyage d'été, et de retour à Tenerife pendant les fêtes de fin d'année, nous y sommes retournés car nous nous étions régalés de leur English Breakfast. Nous nous sommes aperçus avec surprise que le serveur nous avait reconnus ! Ça fait plaisir de constater qu'il fait tellement attention à ses clients qu'il se souvient d'eux ! En plus de l'accueil formidable, la nourriture servie est excellente, et les cocktails au top ! (je recommande le Gin Tonic, ils ont une carte très fournie de différentes marques de gin) Enfin, La Taberna est très bien située, à proximité de l'océan, des hôtels, et des boutiques. Nous avons hâte de revenir à Tenerife et de retourner à La Taberna. ❤️

I've just been here for breakfast. Top notch all round. I got the big breakfast and my wife had an iced latte, and it was superb. The waitress was super friendly, and the service was very good. The surroundings are also very pleasant, and we were able to sit outside in an elevated area. I would definitely recommend this lovely wee cafe

Cute place. We went for a walk from Los Abrigos to San Blas and found this place. Exactly what we were looking for breakfast. I had eggs, bacon, and toast x2 ( yes, I had 4 eggs and more bacon). My husband had the English breakfast. Simple, cheap, and good. 6/19/2024, we stopped by again for breakfast, i ordered eggs, bacon and toast with coffee...It was as good as the first time!!! And We tried the carrot cake this time, Delicious 😋

Went here this morning had a large full English and my partner had the veggie breakfast . One of the best breakfasts I've had here in tenerife ! This is a place that we go to regularly because the food is fresh and prepared so well, the staff are very attentive and professional. Lots of care is taken by this family run restaurant. Great choice on the menu. My favourite is the BLT sarnie which I had today. The British breakfast is lovely too. Well done team.

We stopped in for some food a couple of days ago. It was very busy, but we managed to find a table and were promptly greeted with a smile & offered menus. We had Orange Juice, Ham & Cheese Omelette, Sausage & Bacon Baguette & Coffee. All came in good time and were delicious. Well done, excellent service & good food at a very reasonable price.

Great food and freshly cooked good portion size. Good location, just a short stroll from the broadwalk, so once you've eaten you can take a stroll to Golf Del Sur or to Los Abrigos.

Popped into La Taberna this morning for an English breakfast and it was superb — honestly couldn’t fault it! Everything was cooked perfectly, fresh and tasty. The staff were lovely too — really friendly and welcoming, with great table service. A brilliant start to the day — highly recommend!

a great place for a quiet and delicious breakfast, the whole time we were in this establishment I felt comfortable, the food is very tasty (we were able to try a lot of things) I ordered toast with sausage and egg and cold coffee for myself, everything was great and tasty, I wanted to order dessert because they have a pretty interesting selection of cakes, unfortunately there was no cheesecake or mordant cake, so I had to take almond cake which surprisingly was quite good, it was warm and served with vanilla ice cream, in general they have a very large selection of breakfasts for every taste, drinks (I tried hot chocolate with brandy for the first time) the staff was very friendly, the prices are nice, we will definitely visit again on our next vacation to Tenerife!

Love this place, so friendly and welcoming, food was amazing- cheeseburger highly recommended, as is the baked potatoes- massive, prices were more than reasonable too, great atmosphere, travelled from Callao Salvaje to be there so it was worth it- will be back ASAP

Lovely bar with good selection of food and friendly staff. Bar is usually very busy with most tables taken so might have to wait a wee while.

Two years since our last review and honestly The Taberna just gets better! We were greeted very warmly by Alex, his Mum and Timmie the wonderful waitress. Whether you are on a walk or staying in San Blas I highly recommend you try it. We have had All Day Breakfast, Omelettes, Jacket Potatoes and scrumptious Cakes and Scones. Everything served is to the highest standard - they stop serving at 4pm so get down there people - don't miss out ! Shaun & Jill.

Was ok.. nothing special just your usual English breakfast you can get at many other cafes and restaurants on the square.

Terrasse bien exposée au soleil, belle vue sur la mer, super endroit pour boire un café ou prendre un petit déjeuner. Par contre colonisation de clients anglais et service automatiquement en anglais aussi. Petit-déjeuners typiques anglais également, pas très envie de manger cela en Espagne et donc nullement le sentiment d’être en Espagne, la-bas. Fort dommage et déplaisant. La serveuse de ce matin était le minimum serviable et à la limite du désagréable (arrêtez de soupirer face aux clients…). Dommage, le charme de ce super lieu est gâché par ce qui y travaille et ce qui y est servi.

The food is barely good. Baguette was dry with a microscopic slice of ham. Coffee was worse than in hotel.

Burger wasn't so good, so I recommend to order something else here. The waiter was Nice!

Have been going there for over 15 years. However, the last time I visited. Poor quality, expensive prices. Non existing service. I also get the feeling they won't care about this review. As they seem to work on the fast turnover of customers. (The next lot of holiday makers don't know how bad they are.) To reply to your comment. It's clearly not my fault you don't remember me from my photo. But I can assure you pre covid, I visited tenerife 3 to 4 times a year. (My brother lives on the island. Making it a cheap holiday place for me) Pop into Arcada with my photo. Ask them if they know me. The simple fact is your quality has dropped. Not only in food, but the staff. Some of which I remember from before. Also you need to ask the question. Why did I bother to comment? If was OK, then I wouldn't have said anything. Ps. I'm back over in a few weeks. I'll introduce myself. However, won't be eating there anymore.

Good for a coffee, but don't order anything cooked. The guy literally went down to the supermarket and bought a baguette for us (it said freshly baked baguettes hahaha), nothing of the quality you would expect.

Worst attitude from serving staff we have had in 15 years of going to tenerife. Food was cold and definitely nothing special. Female server was pleasant to other people and down right horrible to us. First and last time we will ever go there. Will be sticking with plaza breeze in the main square where the could not be more pleased to see you and go the extra mile to give you a great experience. They even managed to fit us in last new years eve with a full restaurant and no booking on our part.
