So let me start this review saying this. I'm the guy that only leaves reviews if something is a disaster.... but this was hands down one of the best meals of my life. The pork had textures I've never experienced before, sauces are homemade and you just want to bathe in them, the sides were excellent, portions were appropriate, and the limoncello digestif a show stopper. I don't have a single critique of how the dinner could have been better. To EVERYONE at Michelin Guide... this is a hidden gem!

After reading reviews about this restaurant my husband and I booked a table for our wedding anniversary and are so pleased we did. We were greeted by Jessica , who along with the waiter (a lovely man from Lanzarote) made the evening very memorable as the service was excellent and the food outstanding (We had a sharing plate for starters, mains of Iberian pork cheeks and Sweet and savory pork followed by a pineapple sous vide and apple tarte tatin , an excellent bottle of Rosé , finished of with the best looking and tastiest Barraquito of the fortnight , and everything was 10/10 After a lovely 3 hours we said our goodbyes and look forward to visting this top class restaurant again next year

We had some great food in a central but quiet place in Los Cristianos. Some mixed starters with pulled pork croquettes hmmm The Plumo iberico soooo juicy and taste full !!! The Rib Eye grilled to perfection American style. Delicious. We will be back to this hidden gem.

Lovely ambience, great people and high quality food, cooked with imagination and passion, some personal highlights: Pulled Pork Croquettes, Tuna Tataki, BBQ Ribs (honestly the best), Iberico Pork, Ribeye Steak, Chips and Mayo, Duvel....the list goes on.

I've eaten pigs cheek before / slow cooked like this was so nice, accompanied with creamed celeriac too was amazing... and the starters, the tuna was beaitiful and the croquettes where probs the beat I have tasted ! Reservation needed. Lovey restaurant with an interesting menu. Really liked the cooking style offered of low and slow or hot and fast. The freshly baked bread and handmade butter is a lovely way to start and exquisite meal.We started with the foie gras crostini which was excellent, the sweetness of the apple paired perfectly. The pickled mussels were interesting and slightly hot. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and very soft. The iberico cheeks were like cotton wool and the thick rich sauce was divine. I like that sides are included in the price. Drinks offered were very good. Desert was not pushed on us. Staff were professional and attentive. The owner is friendly,polite and professional. Definitely worth a visit of you are looking for an elevated dining experience. Excellent value also for good ingredients and cooking.

This place should be included in all of these “Top 10 things to do on Tenerife” lists, right next to Teide hiking and ocean surfing. Maybe even before. Food, which doesn’t have to try to be pretentious to be blow-your-socks-off delicious: Chicken cooked to absolute perfection, sweet and delicate fois gras, “best example of the kind” brownie. Service, that makes you want to give a 5/5 rating even before you open the menu. Real treasure amidst the other indistinguishable “paella-n-pasta-n-burger” on-the-coast-restaurant tourists traps.

Three of us had dinner here and it was just wonderful. We shared the fish goujons, cheese croquettes and onion tarte tatin for starters. The goujons were so fresh tasting and the croquettes were fabulous but the tarte tatin was stunning, creamy onion with a gorgeous goats cheese on top. I had the tuna, which had a lovely char taste from the grill and was perfectly cooked. The *only* thing I would say is that the bearnaise is possibly not the best accompaniment to the tuna, although it was wonderful with the pork (and the chips!) The veggies served with the mains were even lovely, not just an "add on" but full of flavour. We had the apple tarte tatin for dessert and it was gorgeous - one of those desserts that you polish off even when you think you have no more room for food! Service was impeccable, even though it was a busy night, we felt very well looked after. It can be hard to find really nice food among the tourist restaurants but Pa'Lante is really a cut above. I thought it was very good value too - you would pay as much for something not nearly half as good in lots of the other nearby restaurants.

Looking for a place to celebrate my wife’s 74th birthday we had a meal here based on the Google rating. It was a really enjoyable evening- high quality food from a world cuisine, with attentive friendly service. You can choose a quiet or livelier part of the restaurant to suit your tastes. From our choices we’d particularly recommend the 3 swim fish dish, the steak, the white profiteroles and creme brulee. They created a memorable birthday meal for us.

We were able to make a last minute reservation for my birthday and it was so worth it. Service was great, food was amazing. We ordered the sweet and savory pork, papas arrugadas, angus steak and the crème brûlée for dessert. All were great, I loved the green mojo sauce. Highly recommend! Best way to end our trip in Tenerife.

Why this place isn't the number 1 on trip advisor and Google I cannot understand . Attention to detail was effortless. Spotless open kitchen. Glorious 5* food. Outstanding service. If you have never had tuna properly this is your chance to eat it correctly, choron sauce was also perfection. Ribs came with bucket for bones, wipes for hands and apron to protect your shirt. We have offered to bring the chef and his wife home with us but I think you'll be delighted they declined and you gave this place a try. Go early in your holiday so you can return! 11/10 from a pair of food snobs ha ha !

Beim Vorbeigehen sind wir zufällig auf dieses nette und gemütlich eingerichtete Restaurant gestoßen. Im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Restaurants in Los Cristianos machte es direkt einen authentischen Eindruck. Sowohl die Getränke, als auch das Essen waren einfach genial! Auch das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend hier.

This is a hidden gem in los Cristianos, it’s a must if you’re staying in the south of Tenerife. We had the pulled pork croquettes with truffle mayo and then my partner had the crispy skin chicken and I had the pork cheeks each dish was so flavoursome and cooked to perfection.The dessert was amazing as well we both got the profiteroles and again 10/10. I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re a foodie like me you won’t regret dining here. Also If you have a spare €10 don’t hesitate to get a round of drinks for the well deserving staff at the end of their shift!

Wauw! We kunnen niet anders zeggen! Wat een super restaurant, met een originele kaart en super lieve mensen. De eerste avond de meest lekkere tonijnsteak gegeten en daarna zijn we nog verschillende keren teruggekomen! Een avond genieten zoals je dat op geen andere plek in het centrum van Los Christianos kan.

In het centrum van Los Cristianos vind je het top-restaurant van chef Robin Vervenne, dat wordt gekenmerkt door zijn subtiele kwaliteitskeuken, met lichte invloeden uit alle hoeken van de wereld. We gingen dus op ontdekking en genoten van enkele lekkere creaties. Een echte aanrader!

Zwar ist das Essen hier etwas hochpreisiger, jedoch ist es das Geld auch wert! Alles wird frisch selbst hergestellt und zubereitet, sehr lecker. Das Personal und die Eigentümer des Restaurants sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Man hat das Gefühl, sie lieben, was sie tun. Wir können einen Besuch auf jeden Fall empfehlen :)

We had a great experience. The hostess was super friendly and the food tasted exquisite. The next day they closed for holidays, so that was not good for us. Made a tasting menu out of the a la cate menu. Ordered the foie gras & port reduction & the house sharing platter for “starters”. The apple compote wt cinnamon & salt went so well wt the foie gras. Mind you, it is NOT pate but actual (entiende) liver, super delicious! The sharing platter was fantastic value wt 4 difference dishes. The thai tasting cheese dip is a very creative tasting concoction, still cannot make out the ingredients…pretty impressed. Ordered 2 mains, shared them one at a time. The pork cheeks was melt in your mouth sublime. Extremely tasty but well balanced wt a tinge of sweetness. The accompanying celeriac puree…mousseline more like as it was buttery cream-like & a super combo that balanced & toned down the richness of the sauce. Just when we thought this cannot be beaten, the sousvide iberico secreto was touch of pink moist, very tasty & stood out on it’s own without any sauce! Ordered Sofros 2014! Not only is it extremely great value at €34…a 2014 neefs drinking if available! Gave it 4.1 on Vivino! Went so well wt both dishes! No room for dessert unfortunately but a 4 course sharing menu for 2 at €110!!! Fantastic meal wt fantastic staff & cosy atmosphere! Definitely worth a visit!

This place is an absolute gem, the owners are clearly hands on & expertly deliver joy on a plate - a beautiful marriage of Canarian gastro with some well travelled flair. Beautiful little restaurant. Service was impeccable. Ribs were tender and chips were piping hot and lovely coleslaw. You are given an apron if you have ribs. Nice idea. Tooth picks provided after finishing main. The tarte tatin was the best dessert I’ve had in a restaurant. The chef deserves a lot of credit. Only criticism was the restaurant was a little on the warm side but the food being served here is top quality and with superb service. Will be going back every time I’m back. Thank you

When I say our visits (yes, plural) to Pa’Lante were one of the most enjoyable things about our holiday, I genuinely mean it. My husband, who is Gluten and Dairy intolerant, felt confident eating here. A rare thing even in the UK! The staff were friendly, helpful and armed with personal anecdotes and recommendations for the menu. They remembered us at each visit and they served some truly delicious meals which made us eager to try other dishes. This small, unassuming restaurant is a must try in my opinion. Whether eating as a couple, or a family, this place did not fail to deliver. I’ve added a small handful of pictures of the meals I ate there. Definitely recommend the pork cheeks!

Exceptional restaurant for food and service, definitely our favourite on the island. We had the Onion Tart Tatin, Asian Seafood Curry & Sweet & Savoury Pork as well as the Dutch Sausage off the kids menu for the wee man all of them were exceptional. Pedimos un entrante a base de cebolla que estaba espectacular y dos platos principales: secreto ibérico y pasta con langostinos. Recomendadísimo el secreto ibérico. Muy buen restaurante, con buena comida, buenos vinos y muy buena atención del personal. Por poner una pega, un poco lento el servicio entre platos, no es para ir con prisa, más bien para disfrutar de una buena comida. Muy aconsejable.

A little nice restaurant in Los Christianos that sticks out of the average crowd. Service is excellent, competent and super friendly. We have had a fish, a meat dish and some sides. All were ok but, maybe our expectations were different.

A recent discovery on our meandering search through Los Cristianos. Greeted warmly by the owner, the decor is stylish and well appointed. The menu does not have a clear country identity and offers a range of slow cooked, bbq style main courses with some traditional Spanish and Japanese dishes, the wine list appeared balanced in its offerings. Service was excellent, attentive and courteous. There was a distinct lack of atmosphere and maybe this was due to a relatively quiet evening. A visit to a nice new restaurant is always a little shiny especially if your first experience is enjoyable. The proof is always asking yourself if you will go again or recommend it to others. At the moment the answer to this question is a yes.

2023-02 Lekker geluncht met perfecte bediening in een stijlvol interieur. Bij het aperitief deelden we: 4 croquetas de "pulled pork" @8.50€, 6 barritas de pescado met tartaarsaus @9.50€ en een flinke portie Almogrote Asiana met maïsbrood @7.50, de originele, Canarische kaasdip, met een twist. Meer vleessmaak zouden de kroketten oppeppen. De rest was qua smaak in orde, ook het mooie garnituur van de gerechten. Als hoofdgerechten: 1° BBQ costillas @19.50€ met een bijpassende BBQ-saus en een prima koolslaatje en 2° kort gebakken tonijn @18.50€ waarvan het vlees echter te weinig geschroeid was en daardoor vrij smakeloos, spijtig. De choronsaus was áf. Het garnituur had ik meer zuiders verwacht. Afgesloten met 1 dessert: profiteroles "Dame Blanche" @7.50€ krokant deeg gevuld met prima ijs, smaakvolle chocoladesaus en dito gezouten caramel. Er is een uitgebreide, vrij gunstig geprijsde wijnkaart met goed gekozen wijnen. De rode Los Tableros barrica 2021 @ 26€ was een koopje en we konden de rest van de fles meenemen. P.S. nogmaals bedankt voor de perfect gemaakte Negroni @8€ die niet op de kaart stond maar waarvoor alles in huis was... Een zaak om te volgen! P.P.S. Na het lezen van uw reactie heb ik gemerkt dat ik, per ongeluk, een te lage score heb gegeven. Die heb ik dan ook aangepast. Uw commentaar "pre-conceptions" wordt in het Nederlands vertaald naar vooroordelen. Die hebben we niet, wel verwachtingen (expectations) en daaraan werd niet geheel voldaan om 5 sterren te scoren. Met zuiders garnituur bedoelde ik een compositie van bvb. paprika's, aubergine, courgette, look, ui. Ik vroeg een cuisson "poco hecho" en die was OK behalve dat er geen Maillardreactie had plaatsgevonden die zou geleid hebben tot een meer hartige smaak van de tonijn.

Food was mediocre and overpriced. The worst was our waiter- a guy with glasses. He was very grumpy, didn't explain anything about food we ordered and complained we asked too many questions about food. He gave us incorrect information about dishes and we ordered something we didn't want to. We told him we were not super happy with the whole experience, he didn't bother asking why but told us we expected too much. He was standing behind our backs all the time watching us eating. He spoiled the whole experience, it was the worst service I've had in years. The restaurant is overpriced, not worth it.

Het eten is erg lekker, maar voor jonge gezinnen is het geen geschikte plek om gezellig te eten. Onze kinderen wilden na het eten graag buiten gaan spelen. De kinderen stonden aan de zijkant van onze tafel en vroegen of dit mocht. Terwijl wij in gesprek zijn met de kinderen vroeg de eigeneresse direct of ze aan tafel wilden gaan zitten. Wij hebben dan ook geen toetje meer besteld en direct afgerekend. Feedback op de reactie van de eigenaresse: Wij hebben twee kinderen van 3 en 6 jaar oud. Twee meiden die tijdens het eten netjes op de stoel zaten. Niemand tot last waren en ook niet luidruchtig waren. We aten vroeg, dus het restaurant was nog aardig rustig. Jullie beleid over kinderen hebben wij vooraf niet gezien. Als je klikt op tabje Kinderen dan krijg je namelijk een menu te zien voor kinderen onder de 12 jaar oud. Na wat zoeken kwam ik eindelijk op je stukje over kinderen terecht. Het staat onder Informatie en Contact. Bizar. Als wij dit van tevoren hadden gezien waren we niet eens naar jullie toe gekomen. 'Alleen welgemanierde kinderen en BABY'S zijn welkom'. En kinderen onder de 3 MOETEN buiten eten. Het klinkt compleet tegenstrijdig wanneer je promoot met een kindermenu. Kinderen en vooral baby's kunnen 'welgemanierd' zijn, maar het blijven kinderen! En het stukje over buiten moeten eten..onbegrijpelijk! Tip. Zet het bizarre stukje tekst onder jullie tabje Kinderen. Scheelt jonge gezinnen en jullie verdere frustratie. Tot nooit meer!

Lo que pasa es que , es un restaurante normal .. nada de otro mundo . Esos sabores de los ingredientes descritos en el menú, no se sentían . Croquetas , ñee. Almejas , igual . Todo bastante , normal .

Y eso que no quisimos pedir el "pescado nadando 3 veces" con un tiempo de espera por preparación de 30 minutos. La camarera nos respondió que habían entrado 5 mesas más, aunque sólo habían 3 reservas (de 2 pax) al llegar. A la mesa de detrás, que entró después de nosotros, les sirvieron su plato principal antes que el nuestro. Ni siquiera avisar de que tardarían más y traer pan con mantequilla, por ejemplo. La comida está bien. El vino de Ribera del Duero, bueno y bien de precio. No probamos el postre ante el peligro de esperar demasiado tiempo. Y sus precios altos. El servicio tras más de 40 minutos de espera entre el entrante y el principal, pues... decepcionado. No es que vayas a una casa de comidas y abones 10-15€ por persona.
