This was our first time, and I was pleasantly surprised! The chicken was actually flavorful, and not dry at all. They have a good selection of sides, and the restaurant was very nice and clean! I will definitely be back!

Service is really good and a lot of menu options. Drive thru is super easy to navigate event when traffic is heavy.

Came with my family and was not too disappointed the food was GREAT the tortillas aren’t home made obviously you could smell the preservatives upon opening the bag. Their Mac and cheese was fire and so was their queso with the chips and queso. Overall a good experience. Would be a place I’d come to maybe once every three months when I’m sick of the regular places I go.

I am giving it 2 stars just because I have only tried this specific food. This was my first time trying El Pollo Loco. I ordered the Double Chicken Avocado Salad. When I picked up the order, I already saw the avocados and lettuce did not look good. The corn smelled very off. The chicken was so dry. I took one bite and I couldn’t even get through chewing it from how dry it was. The cilantro salsa was pretty good, but I couldn’t get myself to eat the salad at all. I didn’t bother going back as I was already too far. Maybe their other food is better? I was very disappointed, especially after seeing the good reviews.

The sides were great. I paid extra for a breast and all I got was 1/3 of a breast. It was dry and low quality. I am sure there was less than 4 oz of chicken. Very low quality. Too bad

Gross, flavorless food. I was excited to try the grilled shrimp. It was dry and flavorless. The quesadilla was also bland and uninspiring. Even the agua fresca was watered down.

Went inside to order and wasn’t greeted. All the workers were standing around talking while I stood there and waited for the cashier. Once she finally came over she just stood there and didn’t say a work. Clearly she didn’t want to be there so I just walked out. Horrible customer service!

I purchased this on Grubhub and normally I would do a review there. However, the issue I had with this food was a problem with the establishment itself rather than the delivery service. This chicken was dry, not a regular overcooked dry but a "this was cooked 24 hrs and sat under a lamp or warmer and we sold it the next day" type of dry. I could tell that if it was fresh it would've been great but it was inedible in the state I got it. Mind you that I paid good money for this. Nobody should have sent that food out in good faith. I feel like since it was delivery they just sent out some junk. The positive is that I got my refund from Grubhub.

Came to pickup an order, waited at the register for 10mins while the employees stood around talking to each other while blatantly ignoring me. Finally informed them of the name on the order, waited another 15 minutes, walked up to the front to find out they accidentally gave the order to someone else.. had to wait another 10 to finally get the meal. The short guy working the front needs to be fired, he even seemed to have an attitude after making the mistake as if it was my fault. I didn’t argue or fuss just got my food and left.

this is my second time here and I ordered a quesadilla, but when I was checking my food I saw they add 3 small pieces. The chicken portion in the quesadilla is terribly disappointed
