Not authentic Mexican cuisine, but the food was good. The service was exceptional. Debbie behind the bar was a machine, she handled the entire bar area, tables and all, giving everyone fast attentive service with a smile. Great job!

We absolutely love coming here! We've gone twice now and they do not disappoint! The staff is the friendliest and they all seem to like their jobs! Definitely recommend coming and trying them out!

We were visiting from out of town and we had been sat but there was some miscommunication between the server and host however this woman who works there named April walked past and checked on us after that the service was impeccable and the food was great! They did a great job on fixing the miscommunication situation and we had a great experience!

Had Blue Goose upon visiting the area. Of course I tried the dirty bob. It was an excellent meal. I cannot recommend it enough. I enjoyed the steak dirty bob and the sopapillas which were also very tasty. I highly recommend the dirty bob if you are looking for a great unique dish in the area. They also give complementary chips which were simply great as always.

My Uber driver had recommended this restaurant while I was in the area for a conference. I had been craving fajitas for a while so I decided to try it out, and was not disappointed. The only downside is I had no refrigerator in my hotel room to take leftovers to, and the portions are very generous. My coworker ordered the combo platter appetizer as his meal, and said that was delicious as well.

So I ordered the steak fajitas and I substituted rice and beans for 🌽 elote. The was the right thing to do. This elote corn 🌽 was great! Best I would I have had from all the places I have reviewed. So I highly suggest that substitution. Then I ordered the steak fajitas and they were great! The 🍖 meat was very tender 😋 and the veggies were grilled to perfection. I highly suggest this combo. There is a bar there but I didn't try anything Today. I'll start giving grades and this was a 9 out of 10.

Wow!! Yummy. We got the queso, a very soft but tasty cheese delicious 😋. Then the chicken fajitas, came out sizzling. The chicken and mushroom 🍄 quesadilla, Omg this one was delicious 😋. The bacon shrimp 🍤 was amazing the shrimp were cooked perfectly 👌. (If you are a drinker try the Diablo you won't regret it!!) If your lucky you'll be sat in Garrod seating best server I have had in a while drinks were never empty, very attentive and fast. Thank you so much for a delicious meal!!! Visiting from out of town and stopped for lunch and now I’m sad I can’t come here all the time! The food was delicious but the service was outstanding! I have a severe gluten allergy and they were very careful and knowledgeable. The salsa was very good and the chicken tamale was my favorite! Plus you can’t beat $2 margs on Tuesday! If you go, definitely ask to sit in Marcos’s section - best service ever!

Had a slow start to our Dinner, but the Alexis and Alex made our 1st experience here absolutely amazing. Food was delicious, margaritas were amazing, and the hospitality and service was exceptional. If we are ever back in Grapevine we will be back!!

Mexican restaurant you dream about. Every aspect of this place is spot on. From the food, to the service and atmosphere. Waitress (Jolie) was great and very helpful. I had loaded Queso dip, 3 choice dinner with a chicken taco, beef enchilada and chicken tortilla soup. All was very good. Only minor complaint was the soup is too salty. I tried two drinks: Pablo's Daughter and their signature El Diablo. Both were excellent. One of the kitchen staff came out to check how my food was. Awesome! Lastly, the best tortilla chips I've ever had. Perfect!

I had a nice experience here and my waitress was sweet and attentive. I had a frozen strawberry margarita and chicken quesadillas and everything came out perfectly. I hope to visit here again soon!

I got the chili rellenos and thoroughly enjoyed them. The chips and salsa were also great - chips are thin and crispy and the salsa has the perfect combination of heat and cilantro to make it very enjoyable Ariel was our server and she was absolutely amazing - great personality to work with people.

Overlooked restaurant!! We enjoy sitting in the covered enclosed patio here. I think somehow this restaurant gets overlooked but we like coming here as it's never too busy, and the service is good. The queso also seems better at this Blue goose in comparison to others. Also, try the peach margarita!

Our server was excellent and the food delivered quickly. The Spicy Mango Margarita and Pablo's Daughter are excellent. The Chicken Fajita Salad is good but not remarkable. The Dirty Bob chimichanga is absolutely fantastic!

Great nachos and brisket tacos!!! We got very quickly seated and our server was excellent. He got our chips and salsa right to us. The nachos were so filling that two filled me up. We had enough left for another meal. We couldn’t decide if the chicken or the beef were the best. They come with guacamole and pico de gallo and sour cream. We were in and out in less than 35 minutes. The brisket soft tacos were good but a bit too salty for my taste

This is my #1 choice when I crave tex-mex food. Our server Daton (hope I got the name right. He was a tall gentleman) was an amazing server—friendly, attentive, and super helpful. He made our experience at the restaurant even better with great service and a positive attitude. Definitely ask for Daton! 🌮⭐

My boyfriend and I eat blue goose often and have been to grapevine, McKinney, and Frisco locations. Each one has always been great! Especially on Thursdays with $3 queso, but what stood out the most today was server today at the grapevine location. Dayton was absolutely incredible! Truly wonderful service, genuinely nice guy, and you could tell wanted for us to have the most wonderful experience we could.

Came out on Friday to meet a friend for lunch. Ordered a cheese and beef enchilada. The food came out quick and our service was great. We had Stacey as our server and she was very attentive and friendly. I recommend 10/10

We had a Big Group so we kept our waitress busy refilling Drinks and chip and salsa. Food was good and this place is busy. They seated us at a picnic table basically since we had a Big group 7 total. I would have preferred different seating since I'm handicapped ♿️ have a hard time getting my legs over the bench seats and no place to lean back. I didn't say anything and managed since we had a large Group.

Great little place I just stumbled upon. I was by myself on a business trip. It was about 4PM on a Friday. Walked in and got seated right away. Plenty of very attentive wait staff. Kept my drink full, chips and salsa coming! Excellent food, reasonable pricing. I was in and out in under 45 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

I regret not speaking to a manager while there so I'm hoping this reaches the right person. Yesterday was the first time me and my family had been to Blue Goose. We mentioned it to our server and she gave us suggestions we might would like. When she brought our drinks back she brought us some warm flour and corn tortillas with butter for us to try without us asking. She kept our drinks and chips filled. After we ate she brought us sopapillas free for being first time guests. My kids loved them. I think her name was Stacy. She made our first time great. The five stars is for her. We will come back again

Visited Blue Goose Cantina with a large group of 10 people (and a baby) for lunch on a weekday. We were quickly seated at a large table grouping and server took drink requests. There was great deal going on for $3 queso appetizer so we ordered several of those as well as some guacamole. Guacamole tasted great but just wasn't a very large serving to be shared. Ordered multiple items on lunch menu (chicken fajitas, chicken quesadillas, etc.) as well as regular menu items (birria tacos and chicken quesadillas). Food all arrived at the same time, was perfect temperature and tasted AMAZING! Only very minor negative was server was busy with other tables so it gave the perception of slow service ... but always delivered requested items and was very personable. Great visit and great food!

Our server David was super awesome, made us feel very welcomed, quick with the service and refills and we got to chat a bit about the world, culture, and languages. Love, love, love this place!! Excellent food, hot and fresh with perfect flavor. We visited on a Saturday evening while they were busy, but still didn't have much wait time for seating or our amazing food. I can't say enough positive things about our service too. We had chips and salsa given to us as soon as we were being seated. The drink order came quickly after by our quirky but absolutely awesome server, Alex. He stayed on top of everything, as did others whose names I didn't catch, unfortunately. The atmosphere is inviting, portions large, the restrooms clean, service top notch, we definitely look forward to going back again.

We loved our experience at Blue Goose! We sat on the patio on a chili day and I was worried it would be cold but it was very toasty and pleasant. It was not as loud as inside and we enjoyed it. The food was great. We had 8 people and ordered the Burro Grande and Mesquite Shrimp and had plenty for everyone. Service was not the best but it got busy so I could understand. I would recommend!

This place has the best salsa. I wanted to just buy a quart to take home. My husband got the chimichanga and I got enchiladas. They were fantastic. We will be going back.

Took a while to get seated but we had a large party. We sat where the heaters are and it felt like I was in the sauna. Food was not that good. Friendly staff though.

We had trouble with one of the items we ordered. The server wasn't helpful. But the manager Kayla was amazing. She individually attended to the situation. We would go back again because Kayla made the experience excellent.

They have the physical menu and online menu that you scan the QR code with your phone. Got the dinner version of “The Dirty Bob”. The shell of the chimichanga is nice an thin. Unlike most places, the shell is very thick. The tamale was very good. The beans and rice are like any Texmex place. The salsa was not too watery, it was surprisingly thick and flavorful. The stuff jalapeño was good , but I’ve had better. It wasn’t too spicy like some stuff jalapeño. The dipping sauce go very well with the stuff jalapeño.

I instantly love a place that gives me my own salsa. That and a cute mascot. Was visiting in the area and this popped up as a nearby choice for dinner. I probably should have slowed down on the chips and salsa. On the other hand, the guacamole was a great addition. I wanted tacos and that's what I got. The food was very good, unfortunately, the rice wasn't quite as delightful as I wanted it to be, but that's ok. Other than that, I have no complaints. Glad I visited!

Second blue goose location I've been to. About the 5th or 6th time overall. Food is very decent especially for the little money they charge. To feed my family of 4, with 2 appetizers and 4 meals, it was only 60 bucks. Add tip 80 bucks. Can't beat that when fast food cost me 50 to feed us all. Not to mention I have a bunch to eat later for my second dinner.

Overall the place was neat. Loved their bird mascot. Food just seemed to take forever to come out, but once it did, it was very tasty. The Dirty Bob is super filling, (ask for cheese on the beans, makes them even better).

Blue Goode is better than you’d expect if you’re a fan of spots such as Pappasito’s, but they do need to step up their margarita game. The margs are priced as highly and underdeliver on the experience they are trying to deliver, with the flavors melding together and just being a sweet drink with very little hint of tequila that makes you feela.

The chips and salsa are good. The salsa is a good combo of tomato, onion and smoky pepper. I had the Birria tacos. Nice, savory twist on an old standard.

Tacos, nachos, quesadillas all delicious! Our vegetarian order, a salad, came out with bacon and very little avocado. Michael made it right, and even the KM came out to apologize and offer dessert! Thank you for the wonderful service!!

The place was busy when we went for lunch, but we were able to get a table in the bar area. Food was pretty good, very hot when it come out. The beer my boyfriend ordered was cool the touch, not cold. He did ask for it to be dressed and it was missing the salt on the bottle neck. My peach margarita was spicy, but I guess I missed where it stated that, but I still enjoyed it.

This was our 1st time here and it's pricey for what you get. My son got the Shrimp bacon wrapped fajitas and was disappointed and wished he ordered something different. He barely got any rice and beans with it, and it only came with like 6 Shrimp. He did say it tasted good but not worth it. I got nachos 😋, they tasted awesome except well beware of how Crunchy the chips are, I broke a peice of my tooth off 🙃 My mom got the Cheese Enchiladas, she loved em. My hubby got the Birria Tacos, it's was ok but pricey again. Overall, I won't be going back but I would recommend at least to try it. Friendly service, our waitress was in training but u couldn't tell and she was completely on the ball, and so friendly too.

Food was good, but nothing that screams phenomenal. I ordered a chicken enchilada and the serving size didn't quite match the cost in my opinion. I believe it was $14 for this plate if I recall. Service was subpar. I saw the waiter a total of 3 times during our hour visit. Once for drinks, another for our order and again with the check. Never got offered any refills on our drinks and a cool dropped our food off without a word. The atmosphere seemd a bit lazy as the wait staff were huddled around a table next time ours talking about how much they hated their job and they didn't care about being fired. All in all, a typical post pandemic restaurant experience.

This place was busy when we got there. We got on the table list for a party of three. We waited and waited in our car, they were supposed to text my cell phone when they had my table ready. I saw numerous people walk in and out. After 45 minutes of waiting in the car I went inside and asked about my table. They had forgotten about us and quickly got us a table when there were numerous tables open at the time. Our waitress and the food was really good. Also, you can’t beat a $2 margarita!

The staff tonight was top notch even though they were all working g double shifts since so many people called in. They ran out of all beers. Our food took over an hour to arrive due to staff shortages. Our wait team was amazing even though you can tell they were stressed out. Seems to be a huge management issue going on.

Food was good. They should give paper menus and not expect you to scan a card some may not know how to do it. A sweet lady gave the kids dough to keep them busy and it worked. Everything was good enough, but nothing from the menu we tried was spectacular. Portion sizes were generous. Waitstaff were responsive, although some meals came five minutes before the dinnerware and napkins.

Served Chips and Salsa to get started our server was very sweet and did a fantastic job navigate the group. We had guacamole as and appetizer which was served in a taco shell with limes fresh with some zest very good. I had the Tacos Dorados and Diana had the Mesquite grilled shrimp for drinks I had the Old Fashion and Diana the Paloma. Food was served hot with Rice and Charro beans. And we all were served at the same time so no one was waiting while the others ate.Its Tex-Mex done well

Everything was good. We had to wait for our table but not as long as predicted. I tried the bacon wrapped fajitas with rice and beans. It was really good. Also, I tend to judge a Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa. Both did not disappoint. Guacamole was good too. Plenty of food.

I met a friend for dinner here. We both ordered the birria tacos plate. It brings 3 tacos, rice and consomé. The tacos were very drenched in the consomé when they friend them. Mine were just a tad soggy but my friends weren’t. The flavor was good but not the best I’ve tasted before. The lemon really added zest making them enjoyable. The consomé was nice as well, but I barely used it. Again, my tacos were so drenched already I really did not need to dip them in the consomé. The rice was a delicious. It was flavorful and well cooked. My friend had a margarita on the rocks that was on special and she mentioned it tasted not like a margarita. The server changed it for a frozen one and it was better. Our server was training another server so it wasn’t the quickest service but good enough. Overall, if one wants some good Tex-Mex, this is a great option. Personally, I think the Plano location is nicer ambience inside with food just a tad better as well.

This was my first experience ordering from here. The staff inside were all nice. Unfortunately, I found a long hair in my veggie fajita. First time eating at the Blue Goose Cantina and was there around noon on Sunday. They have a pretty good menu for Texmex, but I ordered from their brunch menu. Had Carne Asada and Huevos. The food was very good, but the service was slow. Might have caught the waiter on a bad day.

Met a good friend for Margarita Day and thought why not Tex-Mex on Saturday. Hostess read my mind as we wanted booth seating. Brad was our waiter and was very attentive. Margarita specials was legit and inexpensive. Grabbed queso... Kinda cheesy. Worked down 2 baskets of chips. Salsa not hot but decent. Ordered veggie quesadillas and what do you know a few chunks of ground beef was gracing my plate. Sent it back and was brought another one immediately. Suspect but was explained my plate was thrown away and had made another one (someone else's order). But I didn't trip cause it wasn't in the actual food. AND I'm not that much of a stickler. However, it did affect the score.🤔 Quac was solid and so was the sopapilla. If you like Cinnamon Toast Crunch without the Crunch. All in all. Worth the try.

We had a male server. He was very kind and did a great job with customer service. He was knowledgeable for the items choosen to eat. I forgot his name but an African American young guy. We sat thank you for assisting us today.

Really clean and neat dining area. Warm and welcoming greet at door. Our server was really dry and slow, didn’t pre bus. One of our meals was cooked a little longer than their liking and the manager gladly fixed the issue.

Had the Combo Fajitas and a bowl of Queso. The Queso got sent back, it had a terrible flavor. The beef was a little under cooked and very chewy. The chicken was good, however.

We had a group of about ten come in. The restaurant was pretty empty. The wait staff was barely there. It took around 15 minutes, and asking twice, to get my lemonade. And while the food was creative, it wasn't very good.

I didn't take pictures because I underwhelmed by the food and the drink especially...the $3 on the rocks margarita tasted like dish water. I ordered the Goose Eggs and they were flavorless. I think the only thing that was good was the chips and salsa. The service and atmosphere was pleasant.

Not sure why it took 5 people to figure out where to seat us, but it did. Food and salsa were delicious as usual. Small Bowl of chips ran dry quickly with 4 people. Couldn’t get the waitress or anyone at the hostess station to acknowledge us, finally grabbed the bus boy and he got someone to bring us chips. Drinks ran dry, had to ask multiple times for refills. Wife asked for the cheese sauce on her meal to be put on the side. They charged us $3 for a side of queso, not happy with that.

It’s a great restaurant have been coming for years usually we take it to go, however lately their portions sizes have been getting smaller despite everything being more expensive. We got a full pound of fajitas, that should enough for 3-4 ppl. Look at how much rice and beans they give you. When they used to give you pints of rice and beans to actually feed 3-4 people. If you get your food delivered or order take out make sure to check because this is not enough for 3-4 ppl. My husband got a separate entree and he got the normal portion of rice and beans which is the same as the one for 3-4 ppl. Doesn’t make any sense!

We went on a Friday. Slightly busy but not too bad. We had a reservation for a mid afternoon lunch. We had a party of 10, so they sat us outside with a heater. It took about 30 minutes before they took our order, and another 30 minutes before we got received it. The food was tasty but not crazy good. From our experience, I would say to come when you aren't in a rush and ask for seats inside. Courteous service and decent food, just not a fantastic dining experience. 3.5/5.

The food was pretty good and the atmosphere is super fun. Our service was pretty bad. They never came to refill our drinks despite multiple requests, We also asked for hot sauce when our food came out and twenty minutes went by. We asked two other people for the hot sauce and everyone said yes no problem, but it never came. Eventually a supervisor came out to speak to us and just said that they were really busy. It was a half-assed apology and they did nothing to make it right.

I was not amused by this place. We arrived after the dinner rush so it wasn’t busy however it took our waiter to acknowledge us about 7 mins. By the time we were asked for our drinks we already knew what to order. The drinks & chips arrived at the same time which should not be the case. 35 mins after sitting down our food was delivered. Ordered the birriaquesadilla, the chile de árbol was overwhelming even bitter & served with rice. Usually birria has no other side besides the broth but the rice was good so didn’t mind since the birria was not tasty. Also ordered the chile rellenos, which translates to stuffed pepper. Definitely not relleno, the cheese and chicken cubes laid on top of the poblano pepper. It’s was a cheese and chicken smothering, cheese was not fully melted. We tried to eat both dishes but it wasn’t for us, left most on the plates. We didn’t complain simply paid for the meal and rejected the to go boxes. I wouldn’t return, not enough “Mex” in this Tex Mex restaurant for me.

food is good but some of the staff are pretty rude, like Allie. Rolling her eyes & condescending tone in her voice. Why would any self respecting restaurant want someone like that representing them? Do better. I won't be back.

The food came out cold, the enchiladas were cold so were the rice and beans as if the food had been sitting there and the soup was cold as well. the server barely acknowledged our table and he was not busy at all, I would not recommend this place.

I’ve actually had it with this place I used to be there every week Every time I go in there is one bartender who pays me attention and that’s it, every one just looks at you crazy and walk past without offering any help. Sat down for over 10 minutes with 0 greet 0 people at the host stand everyone’s just standing around talkin to eachother and to be honest they have ROACHES I have had several issues with roaches and talk to manager and they are very aware. I think today was my last day stepping foot in there..

Host and Server were incredibly rude and condescending. Ordered quesadillas with chicken and cheese only, came out with tons of jalapeños. Would not recommend to anyone who considers coming here.

Very disappointed report...sent a family to try this place and unfortunately report came back that a) wait was near 40 minutes to be served b) customer service sucked (woman) was worthless, never came to check on them and walked around before going to place the order c) the enchilades were poorly made - they just poured the enchilada sauce on top of rolled tortillas- our guess is the dish washer must have been the cook that day.... the most important thing RESTUARANTS Fail is - Ask, is this your first time, if SO WOW THEM SO YOU GET REPEAT CUSTOMERS....Manager needs more experience !!

Food was floating around in the bottom of my water. Then when it came time to eat i unrolled my silverware and there was food on the fork.. not a big deal but couldnt help thinking how dirty everything else was after. Made me nervous. I did ask for plastic utensils for the family. Waitress said "everything goes in a big dish washer, i dont know" was very nonchalant about it and didn't apologize, again not a big deal. Food was mid.

Service was incredibly slow on everything.. waited 45 min for a table of 8 .. took forever for everything . Food was terrible bland and cold and the portion sizes are more rice than protein . Asked for more salsa but never came .Had to eat more chips and salsa to fill up .. was there for over 2 hours ..awful experience.def will not be back.

We went as a family after visiting Gaylord ICE around 7:00pm we waited 45 minutes for a table and they weren’t busy at all. There were tons of open tables that just needed to be cleaned. The staff was just standing around talking amongst eachother. They sat us on the patio then we waited another 45 minutes for our food. The food was amazing. Once we paid we waited another 30 minutes before all getting up and walking to our waiter to retrieve our cards and change. He was just standing at the hostess area talking with our change in his hand. Service was horrible. We didn’t leave until 10:30pm
