On May 13th,2024 “Dining With Duane” had the opportunity to come here and try out their Breakfast for the first time since they opened for it a few months ago. They serve breakfast 6am-10am daily. Everything they serve for breakfast is all authentic and made from scratch literally. Their Customer Service is amazing! Their Atmosphere Is Amazing! Their food is even better! I definitely recommend their breakfast. A little on the high end for pricing but the quality of the food and the portions make up for that as I like to see it. They are locally sourced! They serve lunch and dinner here as well. If you get a chance to try out there Breakfast Go Do It. ~ Dining With Duane

WOW!! Everything was on point from the appetizers, the cocktails and the entrées! Bravo to the kitchen staff, keep it up. The food was delicious. I wish we lived closer but so grateful to have experienced this place.

What a surprise! Great restaurant and amazing staff. Drinks are incredible service is spectacular. Menu items are very interesting and you would see things that here on the menu would not expect. Indigenous and local cuisine. Very impressive beautiful décor well-managed at a great price. Sit at the bar and let Z take care of you.

EXCELLENT experience and food. The appetizers were awesome. I really enjoyed the venison summer sausage. Then their prawns were to die for. I loved everything. The service was fabulous. My daughter loved the polenta and macroni and cheese. I will definitely return.

Lydia and Cameron are great bartenders. I don't drink and they created us some of the best mocktails I've ever had. They were also very nice about it and made my night 😺 They also have a great sense of humor

Update: 2023 was better than last year. The brisket was amazing, everything else was good too. 2022 Mother's day brunch buffet was pretty good. I favored the meatloaf and cheese hashbrowns. They had an all you can drink option that didn't seem worth it(update holds true 2 years in a row).

Three visits, three home runs! We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and dinner. We love the Mac and cheese, broccolini, cauliflower and cornbread. We will return again!

Amazing experience. Super tasty. Local bison local produce. One of the best meals I have had in my life. Check it out!

My friend and I came here for dinner. Everything really came together perfectly for the evening. The food was top-notch, absolutely delicious. And the service? Couldn't have asked for better.

Absolutely amazing food! And the server checked on us 4+ times. Wonderful! A++

Great lunch experience. I had the bison burger and they actually cooked it medium! My wife had the risotto. Loved it. I also had a cup of chili and ir was very good. The water was even good. Crisp, clean, and no chemical flavor! "SAY" was a great waiter!!...... Definitely going back!!

Our server Hayden was attentive but not hovering. Everyone was very pleased with their meal (steak, lamb and prawns). Dessert was disappointing. Crème Brûlée was cold.

Came here for my birthday, I had a great steak prepared by Nandini, with awesome service by Francesca! Shoutout my good friend Matthew, he was a great food runner! Thank you all very much, very satisfied with the level of service at Cedar and Sage!

Excellent drinks and food! I want to give a shoutout to the manager and staff here.. hunted down some matches for my bad habits and went totally out of his way to do so. Great vibes !

We stopped in for food and drinks and had a great time overall. The service was a bit slow, but the drinks were excellent—well-crafted and flavorful. The bartender was very nice and welcoming. The food was solid and paired well with the cocktails. Would definitely come back for another round!

I go here for the dry rub duck wings. Add a wedge salad and you're all set. The pizza is pretty good and the shrimp dinner is lovely. I really like this place. Plus, the service is always super cool.

Cedar and Sage is located inside the cadino/hotel across from the airport. This restaurant is a favorite, if a bit pricier. With great food, excellent wine, and liquor selections, you will enjoy every visit you make here. Due to popularity, expect a healthy wait time. However, the servers are wonderful and willing to work with allergies and other guest sensitivity.

We went today for Thanksgiving and had a great time. I would like to shout out the head chef for being so nice and accommodating to the person in our group who had a dairy allergy, he went above and beyond to make something extra for him. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was good.

My fiance and I are staying at the hotel for the weekend so we tried Cedar & Sage. Omg! It was one of the best meals either of us have ever had. We started with the c cornbread which was delicious. A little crusty/crispy on the edges for me but my fiancé enjoyed that aspect. I had the valentine special of beef short rib and shrimp for my entrée. Short rib is my favorite dish and I order it often at restaurants as it takes a lot of time to make at home. Believe me when I tell you, this was the BEST prepared short rib I've ever had. Flavorful and tender but not too salty. My fiancé had the Walleye with the gouda polenta. He has discovered a love of polenta and said the Walleye was cooked excellently as well. Our server was also friendly and quick. 10/10, we will be returning!

We were there on a Saturday night. Not real busy. About five tables seated. Started off with a whiskey old fasioned for me, and a margarita for my wife. We had a terrific server named Francesca. We enjoyed a fabulous meal. She had the Prime Rib special with Crispy Cauliflower. I had the Josper-Grilled Prawns with broccolini. We finished by sharing a delicious creme Brulee for desert. Whole thing set us back about $150 with tip, but it was so worth it! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful dinner and excellent service by Hayden. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere. I am quite particular about where I eat out, always looking for quality food, well prepared. This restaurant met and exceeded my expectations. I had the bison ragu and enjoyed it immensely. My companions enjoyed the cornbread, the Brussels sprouts, the wedge salad and the macaroni and cheese. I’d love to eat here again!

Mouth watering! Great experience overall. The food was fresh and well prepared, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Everything came out in a timely manner and we left satisfied. Definitely a place I’d go back to and recommend to others.

I’ve been to Cedar & Sage before for drinks and appetizers, but on my last visit, I had the chance to enjoy both dinner and breakfast—and it did not disappoint! For dinner, Lydia took care of us, and she was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The next morning, Carol provided equally wonderful service at breakfast, ensuring everything was just right. Both ladies made my visit truly enjoyable. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality! I’ll definitely be back.

UPDATE: Been here a few times more recent. Service at bar is terrible, not even busy. Food I would call "average" at best. Chicken sandwich barely had chicken (piece looks large but very thin!) and was dry. Duck wings were very crisp, although drums not wings. Flatbread pizza was a bit undercooked. Flavor of sauce was wonderful along with the toppings. Everything "looks" wonderful but seems to lack flavor.

So the thing with this place — the food is beyond fantastic. The pizza and the cornbread are true highlights. However, I feel the servers are set up for failure in that all of the times I’ve been here, the service drags the meal. The servers themselves are nice and hard working people, and I feel there is some back-end issue that is causing this failure. The food is beyond exceptional, but the service makes us hesitate to come. The food is worth it, but be prepared to wait.

First time at Cedar and Sage last night for Valentine’s Eve. Cool spot for food or to hang out at the bar if you are staying at the hotel. Lots of TVs playing sports. We had reservations but still had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. I could tell they were very understaffed which wasn’t the employees fault who were there working. I’m mainly leaving this review because our server Mikaehla was lovely even though she was working hard to take care of every table and seemed to be the only server. She was so pleasant every time she came to check in on us, knowing that it was a bit of a wait for stuff. Our food was delicious and we enjoyed our evening. The casino people watching is also top notch.

We visited Cedar and Sage inside the Oneida Casino after a recommendation from a follower—and while the food had its moments, the service and a few missteps left us underwhelmed. Drinks & Appetizer: Off to a Great Start Our drinks—the Vanilla Old Fashioned, Patio Daddio, and Thoughtful Tropical mocktail—were all excellent. Creative, balanced, and enjoyable. The real star of the night, though, was the Crispy Pork Belly appetizer ($17). Served over roasted creamed corn with a maple mustard glaze, it was absolutely phenomenal—crispy, rich, and full of flavor. Entrées: A Mixed Experience The Duroc Tomahawk Pork Chop ($42) was delicious, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked—but small for a tomahawk cut. The side of “smashed” fingerling potatoes was underwhelming: not smashed, served cold, and far too large a portion. It felt like filler to pad the price. The Butter Burger ($18) had a flavorful patty, but the untoasted, overly firm brioche bun dragged it down. The Country Mac & Cheese ($19) however, was rich, cheesy, and kid-approved. Service: Needs Improvement Our server, Saya, was disappointing—barely said a word beyond taking our order. We weren’t told about the nightly fish fry special, and only found out after overhearing another server. When asked, he simply said “oh yeah,” as he brought a box to pack up our food. Overall, Cedar and Sage has great food potential—especially the appetizers and drinks—but the service needs serious attention. We’ll return, but will choose dishes more carefully and request a different server next time. For more reviews, follow us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok @gbdiningdykes

TL;DR: Food is excellent, but the service is not. There are many better places in Green Bay to spend this kind of money on a dinner and get the service this price point deserves. The good: the atmosphere was very nice! The menu is interesting and includes walleye cheeks and Bison. We had the bison pot roast, prime sirloin and wedge salad with prawns. Food was EXCELLENT! We also tried the old fashioned flight. Nice presentation and flavor. The bad: Pretty expensive for what you get. Waitress didn't check in with us much. The UGLY: It took nearly 3 hours for us to have dinner. 30 minutes at the table before we got drinks. Another 30+ to get an appetizer. Nearly an hour to get main course.

The waitress was decent. The wait for food was long and the only other table of 2 was finished eating, and another table of 2 came in after we had ordered. The food was pricey. The beast meatballs were good, but the polenta needed salt and was cold. The pork belly was yummy, and the creamed corn-style bed it sat on was tasty. The winter corn and squash dish was definitely different, needed salt, and also was cold. Pretty place, but they need to work on getting dishes out while still hot! It was NOT busy at all and I noticed 5 or so kitchen staff. They were also out of flatbread? We arrived around 1:00ish and they opened at 11:00. That was a disappointment as we were going to try one.

I don’t like to leave “negative” reviews, but I do want to be transparent about our experience. Unfortunately, we waited longer than normal (one hour at least) for our food to come out after we placed our order and it wasn’t a full house. We just ordered 2 Rueben sandwich’s and the risotto. By the time our food came out - the Rueben wasn’t even edible (tough, fatty) and so we had to send them back for something else. The Risotto was really good! No complaints there! Thankfully, the manager compensated for our experience which was very nice and it wasn’t our servers fault - she was really sweet. It’s just unfortunate to have such an experience especially at a place where the cost of a meal is expensive.

Breakfast was good but the service was awful. Only one server and one chef. Waited awhile to get our order taken then waited a half hour to get our food. Had to wave down server for more coffee. When staying at the hotel again I will go out somewhere else for breakfast!

K
Kim Kumm

Food was great! Atmosphere was great! Service was really bad. Drinks were not made as ordered. Never came back to check on the food quality or refills. I tried to speak to the manager regarding service. He was nowhere to be found. It's a very nice establishment but would not recommend due to poor service. Hopefully they can turn it around as we've been here several times with a better experience.

We got a beef stew and for how expensive it was, I was not very impressed. Small portions, so the price was a rip off.

J
Julie Ricks McClintic

Probably the skimpiest buffet I've ever been to. No gravy, either. None. When I asked staff 5, of whom were standing around, where the gravy was, they rolled their eyes and shrugged their shoulders. On the way out, I saw the gravy. Not 10 feet from where I had originally asked about it. The food was not what I expected from a casino buffet--I felt like I was at Perkins. Bleh. Boring. I dont gamble, so now I have zero reason to go back. Very disappointing. Waiter was good tho.

Charged twice for bottomless drinks. Was told that's just the way it is. They automatically added a $30 tip to our bill, then have the nerve to ask for more on receipt. Very expensive. $55 per person Easter brunch Very clean, decent service, decent food.

My wife and I went out of town this weekend and wanted a good meal. We chose Cedar and Sage Grill House. The reviews are overall good but the most recent ones were concerning. Well, I'd have to say that the recent ones still stand. The wait for our food was very long, our server wasn't very attentive. Blamed two large groups on that. We had the Polenta as an appetizer, when we finally got it it was cold. We let it slide and hoped the wait for our meals would best that. And wait we did! My wife's Salmon was burnt and dry her potatoes were cold, butter not even melted. My Prime Rib was also barely warm but the brussel sprouts were good, and the temperature was decent. Everything smelled delicious, if the food was hot, I feel it would have been a great meal. But everything put together, the wait, the cold food and our waitress more concerned with her bigger table will keep us from trying again.

Really disappointed in the Mothers Day Brunch. We came last year, much better. When you have a 5 star price for the meal, you must deliver above and beyond. Over cooked omelets. Maple bread pudding was way over cooked. Fruit was sparse. Salad was high maintenance, sparse dressing. Desserts were not made in house, sub par restaurant fare. The biggest disappointment was that there was no fish option. Coffee refills non existent. No water served. Totally underwhelmed.

My partner and I reserved a table using google assistant and this method works, most of the time. Went in today, and the two at the front of house could not find our reservation. The girl was very nice and accommodating, but the guy was rude and standoffish. He seemed like he couldn’t be bothered to help us and almost dismissed us after just check the reservations and not finding our name. This behavior really put a damper on our night. We love coming here, and will continue to come back, but because of the food and the waiters. They are what makes coming here welcoming.

Once seated, our food took an hour to arrive. Our meals were over seasoned. Our waiter was absent during the majority of our wait time and the atmosphere was noiser than I had anticipated. Disappointed.

Second time going. Won't be going back . We wanted a dinner menu around 2 pm. Waitress said we could not get it. That's fine but she had a terrible attitude after. She was very rude.

Arrived at 7. Seated immediately. Ordered drinks and food. Waited an hour for a french dip style sandwich and "pulled" pork tacos. Finally arrived but not as ordered. During that time we requested a refill for my husband twice. Never got a refill. Ten minutes after our food was served we requested the bill. 20 minutes later still no bill. A couple next to us had been waiting for their medium rare steaks for just shy of an hour. But don't worry they got their food to go and a bill and here we are still waiting. So I gave up and went to the front and asked if they could ring up our order or get us a bill to pay. Nope had to go find our server who made excuses about the other couple's "issues" and that that was the hold up. So finally have our bill yay right? Nope. It took 12 more minutes for here to process it. If you have ANY other option for dinner take it.

Had reservations for 6:30 on Valentines Day. Got seated and the waiter took our order. Got the appetizer and wasn’t checked on again. At 8pm we got up and left after 4 tables around us received their food. When I tried to pay for the appetizer they told me don’t worry about it and sent us on our way. No apologies or reasons why the food never came. Place wasn’t even busy.

Called ahead of time to see if I needed to set appointment, hostess seemed very unsure of I needed to reserve. So I did anyways, 8:30pm Saturday night. Arrived 5 mins early and noticed it was not that busy and plenty of tables available. After we were seated we didn't even see our server for 10+minutes. When she finally came we ordered corn bread and two dishes. After 30mins of sitting around and not even getting our corn bread yet, I decided to ask another couple there who had been waiting for a long time, they were not happy as well. I decided after 45 mins and not even having appetizer yet, we would be leaving, so we did. I told the hostess it's been over 45 mins and we didn't even get our apps yet. She gave a half apology as we left. If you're expecting us to spend around $150 for the meal, your service needs to be on par. I'll save money and time eating at the noodle bar in casino.

J
Jacqui Bone

It took about 30 minutes for a server to take our order and almost an hour and a half to get our food after that. During that time we were checked on once around the hour mark. All of the tables around us were having a similar experience. The food was fine but not worth the price and definitely not worth the wait. The restaurant gave us dessert as a consolation prize.

c

Avoid the breakfast. Visited today, breakfast was a buffet only option. $23.99 per person. If this were a complimentary continental breakfast it would be a disappointment, as it is a 23.99 "buffet," it's well beyond disappointing. Selections were: A) undercooked (liquid inside) French toast that was still somehow dried out on the outside B) wet, incredibly dense egg colored playdough C) overly dense egg colored dough with imitation cheese sauce D) some sort of shoe leather made to appear as sausage links that are as flavorless as they are tough E) slimy faux- bacon F) a small variety of stale/day old bread and bagels. G) single serving condiments which if you make the mistake of asking if they have a condiment you didn't see you will get a response that they are over by the dirty toasters and go "get them yourself" despite not having asked for them to be hand delivered, rather just the approximate location. Coffee, juice, tea etc are included although not self serve so you must hail the lone server for each small cup and / or refill.

L
Lisa

we vist the casino every year, and every year we try this place for dinner. And every year something goes wrong. Ordered a pizza and it was given to someone else, no more flatbreads, ordered steak medium to come out well done. Not to mention it took forever to get food. No more dinners here. However breakfast has always been good.

A
Anthony Hernandez

Great atmosphere no complaints at all for that. My complaint is the food. The food is too expensive to not have any taste. I could have got a better steak from Long horn for half the price. They need to step it up on the flavor. Everyone in my party of 4 was disappointed.

J
Joe T

Yeah I’d skip the breakfast. $24 + tip for the same quality and quantity that is normally included with the average hotel stay elsewhere. For that price real eggs better be available along some decent options. Server was nice and kept my glass filled - other than that hard pass.

M
Matt Paler

This didn't go well at all. We were promptly seated, delivered water, and able to place our bar. The Old Fashion was very good. When our drinks were delivered we ordered an appetizer, cheese curds. We patiently waited for over 20 minutes, before we told our waitress to cancel them, she said they hadn't been started yet. There was a lot of standing around in the kitchen, seemed completely unmanaged with zero motivation. Our waitress offered to comp our drinks but I wanted to pay for them and her for the service she provided, because it was good. We will not be going back anytime soon but more like never.

L
Laura Coburn

Very disappointed. Came from out of town specifically for Cedar and Sage. 8pm reservation for 2. Arrived 7:45pm, was able to be sat right away. Waiter seemed clueless. Got drinks and appetizer quickly. However, waited beyond an hour with no drink refills or waiter or anyone checking back. Kitchens clearly not being productive as there was a line of tickets a mile long. Nobody knew what was going on. No manager seemed to be present until we started asking why it was taking so long. We were told by host who we had to flag down and ask. We were told they had several large tables (they had 1 big table and a few 2 tops) . Finally she pointed out a manager and I walked over and simply asked for my appetizer and drink bill, because we were ready to leave and quite hungry. She told us we could just leave. With no other effort to help kitchen or provide better service. Very disappointed.
