This is the best spot to either sit inside or outside watching the activities and boats cruise by. I forgot to take pictures of my food and I’m sure there’s plenty of those anyway, so I’ll put in my favorite beer ever in here instead. I had a really good time, the food was really good, and the beer… I guess you’ll just have to go here and find out for yourself. Enjoy…
Great choices of many different food genres. A couple appetizers, a burger, pulled pork sandwich, salad, and fish tacos were ordered to our table. It was all felish! There are fun lights everywhere in the taproom (Love Shack this month)...Fun atmosphere. Our waitress, Victoria, was great. She was very attentive and polite with our table. Oh yea, the waterfront is great as well. All that said, we'll definitely be back!! Thanks!!!
First time here. We were passing through. Website looked cool. We were absolutely blown away. The Christmas decorations were over the top amazing. Really cool set up. Friendly engaging staff. Excellent food. Cool drink menu for Christmas. Looks like a really nice outdoor area too. Right on the Fox river. Looks like plenty of docks if you pulled up with a boat. We bought a sweatshirt and tshirt we loved it that much. We will definitely make more trips up to see it in summer.
It’s a really fun place! Good bruise! Wonderful view. Will definitely come back here. Got to catch the sunset during dinner. Stunning! It was neat to be able to see the inside of the brewery and see the vats. Stop a super sweet. Food was made. Ordered the chicken tenders are apparently a specialty, however it feels like they fried it and fish oil and was not a fan of it. Ordered fries cheese curds (first time ever trying fried) again wasn’t so impressed. Could’ve been the oil. Definitely would try again, but would like to explore other menu options. As a tourist it was cool to visit a place that was not so crowded or noisy. It was a nice bite to eat, and like I said, the view was stunning!
One of the best burger patties I've had in a while, waygu, and the aolie was next level. 10/10 recommended. Had a good sale going while I was there too.
Excellent place to eat with a good choice of beers and food. Service was very friendly and lots of seating available. Definitely recommend whether you are looking for a casual 1-2 person brewpub or a large party
We were at a Benefit, and the food came extremely fast. It wasn't as hot as we would have liked. We figured the appetizer shrimp was probably cooked ahead, and served a bit later. Our sever was extremely efficient and so sweet. Constantly coming and checking on us. Drinks were great!
Good food and good bear with great views! The captain crunch chicken tenders are justifiably popular. The fish fry was also quite good! Skip the prime rib sandwich…it was basically a deli-sliced roast beef in a grilled cheese. Service was good. The views are gorgeous at sunset.
We enjoyed Mother's Day Brunch 🍳 🧁 🧇 🍉 at the Fox River Brewing Company this morning. The Mother's Day Buffet was second to NONE!!! So delicious and choices were numerous! Too many to name, but just think breakfast and dinner and all of your favorite desserts all wrapped into one. The service was outstanding. Even though they were packed, the waitresses were amazing and attentive. The weather was perfect - we sat in the comfortable outdoor seating area. All around a great experience. We will definitely be back.
What a great place to have dinner on our sister's trip. Beautiful river view, great food & great service. Our server was so helpful, sharing where the best shopping is in oshkosh.
I had a great experience for the first time at the brewing company. Ordered orange bobber and was pleasantly surprised as I don't normally like a sour beer. One could taste notes of coconut along with a gentle taste of citrus, reminiscent of working down on the coast of Florida. For an appetizer we opted for the shrimp which were great. Then for the main course I chose the captain krunch chicken wrap. I would order again if given the opportunity for sure. Not too heavy for a warm day on the river. Will definitely be returning if I am in the area.
We reserved a dome for lunch with our daughter, and we had an amazing time. Taylor was our server and was so awesome. She worked hard and was very pleasant. The food was fantastic. The kids' meal mac and cheese was better than most places serve. Our daughter ordered a hot cocoa, and they really fancied it up. The shrimp on the appetizer menu was so tasty, and the pretzels and cheese were huge! We also ordered some of the seasonal drink options, which were delicious. Loved the beer so much that we bought a few 6 packs to go. We will be back!
This was our first experience at Fox River Brewing Company and it was definitely a lovely experience. Our waitress Sienna was very helpful and had great recommendations. We chose to do the igloo dinner experience which was quite lovely, we had 6 people, that combined with 2 space heaters we were quite comfortable the entire time. All of our appetizers, drinks, and Entrées were phenomenal. We had the prime rib, ribs, elk burger, butternut squash ravioli, Margherita pizza, then a cranberry mule, a Carmel apple mule, blackberry bourbon crush, Vixen hot chocolate, and for appetizers we tried the pretzels with beer cheese dip, cheese crab dip, and the crunch chicken tenders. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were fantastic. Highly recommend for a lovely evening for good drinks and food!!
We started with a raspberry Tito’s and lemonade and a mango margarita, and the drinks were excellent! The crab fondue appetizer was great for a change from the normal. We ordered the brat burger on a pretzel bun and the salmon salad. Both were delicious! The service was very fast and super friendly!
Beautiful location, excellent ambiance and food! Jill was a pleasure to chat with and be served by, with the amazing brew we sampled. We took our food to go on the Cruisin' Tikis experience, docked at Fox Brewering.
Delicious food and drinks! We will be back.
This was our first time here. We will definitely be back. It was a little cooler and breezy out today, so we chose to sit indoors. The young lady placed us in a cute little corner next to the big windows. We could see all the people sitting outside and the boats on the river. Very cool atmosphere! The service was excellent and the food was even better!
Delicious drinks, food, service and amazing atmosphere! The crab dip appetizer was out of this world! The No Wake beer cheese on the fries was SO good! Fries were a tinybit spicy but not bad. All in all would definitely recommend, worth the price!
We sat outside at a picnic table because we had our dog with us. The atmosphere was Awesome on an 86°Saturday. Both our meals were excellent as well as the grilled chicken breast our dog had. My only recommendation would be that they add more staff, the servers were busting the butts doing their job, they had no one to help them bus the tables when people left and that reflected with napkins flying everywhere.
This place is accessible from the water and they have a huge pier system to dock plenty of boats of all sizes! The Outdoor area is top notch with a decent size tiki bar and hundreds of seats. They normally have live music outside. Inside is also very nice with a large bar and dinning room. Their beer is good, but they also serve other brew company beers and cocktails. Food is very good. Kid friendly Plenty of parking for both cars and boats.
Brought my family of 15 for a quick meal after adventures of the day! Our one server was excellent and kind. Didn’t forget anything and understood all the different personalities of the kids and even adults. Highly enjoyed our lunch and time here
They have a nice dog-friendly patio area overlooking the river, and it was pretty easy to find a table on a Sunday early evening. The server was very nice and the food arrived quickly. The cheese curds were pretty good, and I also recommend the braised beef and crunch salad. For cocktails, the spicy margarita was good.
It was a cold rainy day so we couldn’t sit outside but…we still enjoyed a brew and food. Service was a bit slow but it was understandable. GREAT 929 ale!
Been here multiple times before because it's one of the best spots in Oshkosh. We decided to have the igloo dinner for an anniversary. Great time. Wasn't rushed and enjoyed our night. Service was a bit slower in the igloo or it could have been the Saturday night. It was packed. Bartenders kept the drinks coming quickly which made up for the slower food orders. This restaurant is right along the river and the igloos light up the whole property. Making for a cool video and picture/ experience. Got FAA approval/permission before taking these since Fox River Brewery in located within a class D airspace.
We were just traveling through, but chose this place to have dinner on New Year's Eve. Our server was great! The beer was good! Food was tasty. We had to do the Wisconsin cheese curds. She had the Chicken and Waffles. I had the Perch and fries. I wished I would of chosen something more signature to the menu. But it was still tastey.
good local brews. menu has variety and some great choices. fish and chips was very tasty, spinach artichoke was a good appetizer. Our server David was super helpful. He's alright...but Magical
My husband and I ate here for dinner Saturday before going to the Paine Art "Nature of Light". I like that you can get a reservation when you have timed plans after dinner. Loved the variety on the menu. We shared a delicious big pretzel that was soft, warm and came with a yummy beer cheese dip. I had garlic shrimp for my meal that had fresh asparagus and polenta. Huge shrimp, delicious meal. My husband had a pasta meal that he enjoyed. There was a mix of families, dates, and girlfriend groups eating. They have a huge outdoor area for eating and drinks, but it was raining that night. I bet that is a great space in summer. We will return. Very good meal and experience.
We came in with a large group and our Server Izzy was amazing! She handled all the separate checks and male the entire experience feel seamless! Amazing serive. The food was also so tasty and the view on the water was great!
Really nice brewery with sizeable restaurant. Food was good and so was the service. Beers are great and have a pretty wide variety. Restaurant location is great as they are right on the Fox River and have good views and options to rent an outdoor igloo for dining.
All I can say is I can't edit to go back again. We went during restaurant week. We couldn't believe how big of ribeye we got. We also had cheesecake with chocolate ganache and pecans. I could go there just for the dessert. Everything was great, including the staff.
I went here a couple of times while I was in town and it was pretty good. The atmosphere and staff was great, the food was pretty good, but just a tad fancier than what I usually eat. I was in town for a wedding and we had a dinner here on the evening before. We had a pretty big party of people, and though we only had one waitress named Riley, she was on the ball the whole time handling our table like there was two of her. I usually am not lucky enough to get a waitress that good when I’m at a new place. We attended a wedding in the tap room off of the side of the dining room, and they were kind enough to provide staff for the bar, a buffet of food for about 75 people and kept the party rolling after the ceremony was over like a bunch of pros. The girls behind the bar were not only doing a good job but obviously having a good time dancing behind the bar, although a little sheepish when we invited them to come around with the rest of us. They made sure all the work was done and that everyone was having a good time. I’d recommend it checking them out if you need to have a party somewhere.
Expect a wait if you go on a weekend. Food was average. Drinks were delicious. Atmosphere amazing. We only had one issue with seating and it was resolved promptly. Definitely would go back for drinks and appetizers.
Garden salad was all kale, which as you can imagine is tougher to chew when raw. Asked for a medium well burger, and it was extremely dry and tough. Gluten free options were minimal with the limited menu. Enjoyed the atmosphere regardless.
It's been awhile since we'd been here but it's always good. Unfortunately the only thing I took a picture of was my Salted Caramel White Russian, which was delicious. We ordered the cheese curds & Bavarian Pretzels & cheese for apps & everything was great. My husband had his Wagyu burger gone before I even saw it! My friend was the same with her salmon & roasted vegetables. Our other friend had pasta & chicken & he ate all of it so it must have been good, too. I had the 8 oz tenderloin which practically melted in my mouth. The vegetables were cooked & seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately I couldn't get to the potatoes & accidentally left the box on the table when we left. I was sad. The dessert menu was pretty disappointing. The drink menu was great & our server was fantastic. It's a loud environment, so if you're looking for somewhere quiet, this isn't it. In the summer they have outdoor seating by the water which is nice.
The food is really good; we got the Margarita pizza, cheese curds and the bean dip. The food tho was extremely salty, literally everything was salted. The pizza was salted, cheese curds, the chips were extra salty. I got the pink haven daiquiri drink. It was actually really good, pleasant, sweet- they're really good. We sat outside; they were pretty busy but we but we got served pretty quickly.
I had a real good burger at FRBC. The taste was amazing and the atmosphere of this location on the river is great. My wife and I sat outside by the water and were quickly waited on despite how many tables outside were occupied. The only complaint I really have is their pricing. Their food is good but a burger shouldn’t really have to be $15. Every time I go to Fox River Brewery I think that the food is good but not really worth the price. I usually went to the location at the Fox River Mall and when I tried the Oshkosh riverfront location I was hoping for a more simple, laid back and affordable menu but that wasn’t what they had. Again the food quality was good but we can get burgers in the area we are just as happy with for $10. The beer at FRBC is good but it’s hit or miss that one of their temporary brews even sounds good. General they have the good and stable Marble Eye available for when nothing else really matches what you are hoping for.
Ate outside on the waterfront. Was a nice day. The inside was very nice low lighting. The brat was good but the toppings were a little overwhelming I had to pull off some mustard and onions to even it out. The staff was friendly but may have had to walk to far from the table to the bar area to give better attention.
Not a great experience but not a total wash either. The outdoor seating is wonderful with pub and picnic tables covered by umbrellas. Great views and laid back atmosphere. Not sure if seating inside would have change the experience. The food was ok. Nothing spectacular but edible. My first introduction to cheese curds was in Appleton Wisconsin. The bar was set there and unfortunately the cheese curds here did not meet the bar. HOWEVER, the crab cakes were shockingly FANTASTIC!! The staff and managers included were extremely friendly and attentive. They exhibited top notch hospitality I sometimes don’t see in fine dining establishments. The overall vibe on a Friday night was let your hair down and the good times roll. Attached next door is their tap room, which we didn’t visit but peeped inside to spot for beer lovers to sip play.
Our fry’s came out lukewarm. We didn’t get any napkins and when we asked for the dinner ones we got black bar ones from the bar. Had to grab silverware from another table. Our waitress was MIA when we were looking for drink refills and another waitress was helpful to help us. After that it felt like we were being rushed out of there. Food was good otherwise. The Christmas music for January 3rd was a little much.
Large restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating with live music during the day warm months. Basic American fare. The food was OK but nothing to rave about. I had a barbecue brisket and chose broccoli as my side. The broccoli was slightly warmed but uncooked, so essentially I was eating it raw. I heard the soup was OK and the burger was what you would’ve expected. If you’re there during the early evening and in the main dining room expect that the sunlight coming through the windows will be exceptionally bright and is quite annoying. Unfortunately they don’t have any window coverings to shield the sun so you may wish to bring your sunglasses in, or sit with your back facing the window. Service was good and attentive and even though they were very busy they seem to handle things quite well. They have multiple seating areas so I would imagine generally the weight should not be too long. It’s probably worth a return visit when I’m in the area and try some of the other items on the menu.
The food was decent nothing special, typical burgers, sanwiches and salad. The servers were friendly but lacked knowledge about the menu. The scenery is very nice but if you eat outside expect bees. While eating we had 5 bees land in our food. The bar is fully stocked and their gift shop is great. Overall is was decent.
We had three different entries. Chicken and waffles which was great, Mac n cheese with pulled pork which was great and mine a prime rib panini which taste like warm cardboard. Our waiter disappeared half way through the meal and the bus boy got us out to go boxes. Their homemade sodas are not that good either.
Ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was not good. Almost no Alfredo sauce and chicken was dry and unseasoned. Tasted like buttered noodles with flavorless dry chicken. I would advise against getting the chicken Alfredo there, I have had better microwave chicken Alfredo meals than their's, which is pretty bad. Aside from the Alfredo, the atmosphere was great, Christmas decorations were excellent, and our server was really great as well. The drinks were great too.
Carry out. Got it very fast. Elkburger was horribly dry with zero flavor. No seasoning at all. The brisket was good. The captain crunch tenets were a little too sweet. The boneless wing were great. The nachos were bland and not very satisfying. All I. All after spending 70 I doubt I would ever go back
Expensive burgers, nice atmosphere, not very good waitress. 4 dollars for a single can of root beer no ice no glass. But I guess to be expected in a trendy place with large overhead. Two burgers, one wrap, cheese curds, and three sodas $100, glad I didn't drink alcohol. Food, fries all were great quality
Had an absolute blast at the Love shack. However I would like to suggest that for a pop up event to have a limited menu. We had 1 meal come out completely wrong and 2 out of the 3 were ice cold. We knew how busy it was and didnt want to make a fuss. (My bill alone for 1 meal and dessert amd 1 mocktail was near $70) I think it would be easier that Mon-Thursday full menu but Friday-Sun on the busiest days have 1 pasta, 1 burger, 1-2 salads, pizza and the Friday night fish. There were so many awesome options for the cocktails it just got too much.
We visited this location for lunch and were very disappointed. We ordered Garlic Butter shrimp. The shrimp were served with the veins still attached and we found a hair in our food. We ordered the Arugula Salad. It was advertised with cucumbers and they were diced so small I could hardly find them. The arugula/salad mix was very fresh and the lemon vinaigrette dressing was good. We paid $78 for our meal and felt it was overpriced for the amount/quality. We were not impressed and will not return. Also, the wine cellar was pretty dirty.
On valentine’s day walked in and go sat and proceeded to wait 30 minutes and not even get a hello from a waiter while watching every table befor and after our seating get appatizers drinks and food and immediate hellos. drove 45 minutes to get a “sorry did anyone get you” ultimately disappointing for a place charging 30 bucks for a slice of salmon and 14 dollars for cheese curds. Working in a restaurant myself and knowing how they operate it’s clear management is poorer here.
We have come here many times and always have a great meal.. last week we had the worst meal. We had a group of 6 and everyone had an issue with our food. 1/2 of use sent something back. Seafood was cold, Chicken wrap without chicken, and fish was soggy, like it was frozen before they cooked it. a few other things. We are not the type to complain. My perch was all stuck together and rubbery ... i didn't complain as at least it wasn't cold. Overall the food was horrible and borderline eatable. Definitely coming back.
We had a reservation for 5 pm on a Saturday evening for 7 people! We got there around 4:15 to have a drink and play some video poker games. Having fun we decided to sit down at our table around 4:44 They sat us down in a room that there was no other guests. Looking at the menu and talking, 15 minutes into this the lights get dimmed in our section. We still have not seen a waiter. At 5:09 someone finally decided to come and talk to us. We finally got served our food at 5:45 and of course there were issues!!!! I received my burger which was to have nothing on it except meat cheese and bacon, but it comes out with mushrooms melted into the cheese. Then one of our guests didn’t even get their food, they forgot to make it.
