Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse

Our son turned 25 and requested we take him to a Brazilian steakhouse. We chose Leblon based on their great reviews and I made a reservation thru Open Table. This was a new experience for all of us and we all had a wonderful time and LOTS of delicious food! I’m not a fan of salad bars or buffets but I wanted to at least look at it. The name “Salad and Hot Bar” does not do it justice. The variety was incredible! We all got a plate and thoroughly enjoyed it. The shrimp! The table service by Amy and all the Gauchos were top notch. The choices of well seasoned meats is very impressive. The only thing I didn’t sample was the ribs because I was stuffed. The grilled pineapple was amazing! We also got mashed potatoes for the table and they keep the bread basket full of hot and fresh Pao de Queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). Those morsels of goodness were addictive! I highly recommend Leblon and I would go back. We felt the price was very reasonable for what you are offered. It’s a festival of food that shouldn’t be missed. BTW, when you decline dessert, they bring around a dessert trolley. Not exactly fair but, dessert to go? Yes please!

Amazing experience and if you're hungry and like fine dining with a bit of a twist; this is the place to go! I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. Yes, it may seem a bit pricey but when you stop and consider what you are getting: its truly a no-brainer. All of the food is prepared by Chefs that know what they are doing in the kitchen. The meats are all perfectly cooked to perfection and the many soups and salads are deliciously prepared to perfection too.

I had a great time here, probably my favorite steakhouse now. Really good food and service. The waiter was super attentive. The food was delicious and it had a glitzy style. Nice salad bar, with plenty of options. I'm satisfied with this restaurant. Great tasting Caipirinhas, and delicious mango cake. Food is served in your plate and you have a sign to suggest if you're interested in receiving more food or not. I loved it here.

My family treated me to a Brazilian steakhouse for my birthday (May 5th) for the first time! All the meats (lamb, prime rib, ny strip, chicken, pork sausage links, etc.) were fantastic, but the ribs, by far, were my favorite! The salad & hot bar were also amazing (a lot of what appeared to be fresh seafood options). Great system for signaling the servers to keep bringing more food...large cardboard chip when flipped on the green side means 'keep the food coming', when flipped on the red side means 'let us work on what we already have on our plates'. Also, kudos to our waitor, Anthony, who was very welcoming, made great recommendations, and made sure we had a very satisfying dining experience. I look forward to going back and trying more items topped with their rosemary peppercorn sauce as well as the stuffed flounder on the hot bar. I would definitely recommend making a reservation before coming. With so many food options, you definitely will not be disappointed!

Words can express the way this establishment catered to my 50th bday dinner party! Adam and his staff was extremely professional, the atmosphere was high class and the food was. Grade A!! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to have my dinner party! Thank you for the warm hospitality and professionalism the Leblon team gave us!!

Great Brazilian experience with awesome food including an unbelievable Salad bar. But the meats are the shining star!

This was our first time going here. The staff was super friendly, and the place was very clean. The food was delicious! The pineapple was the best I have ever had. The salad bar was very good with plenty to choose from. The croutons were to die for. The deserts, cheesecake, and chocolate cake were also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Great dining experience! All you can eat ! A great salad bar with lots of choices , excellent variety of meat that the gauchos bring to your table , from filet mignon, chicken, ribs , picaña , sausage, etc. , love the grilled pineapple 🍍 😋 yummy! Also offers hot sides like rice , fejhoada( bean Brazilian style), mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes , etc.

I loved it!!😍 Went for Mother's day.. beautiful atmosphere courteous kind waiters, food was delicious!.. first time trying, only thing it was and can be a little pricey, if you do not stop accepting all of their wonderful meats!!! amazing salad bar,taste like home made so fresh, steamed and stewed fish dishes, the variety is awesome! Great for special occasions, date nights to impress, I can't say enough about this place. Truly 5 stars necessary.

By far our favorite place to celebrate! Nick is our favorite waiter! The salad and hot bar is the best in town, quite often I go for just that….

We had a great time celebrating our first anniversary here! This was our first experience of a brazilian steakhouse and we can’t wait to visit again. The food was delicious. The staff were all attentive and very polite. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Will be recommending to others!

A nice quality churrascaria with warm service. There is a great variety of meats/skewers including picanha, prime rib, bacon-wrapped tenderloin, lamb, sausage, chicken, ribs, pepper steak, and also unique items like seared cheese cubes and grilled pineapple. The flank steak was a personal favorite, but each one was good, with a great seared flavor, and piping hot, too. The non-meats are nice, too. There's a decent salad bar, the ubiquitous Brazilian cheese bread is delectable. This place is worth the little splurge ($47 for adults)

I took my husband for his birthday dinner and we had a wonderful time. Left full and happy! Deserts were awesome.

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse. This one was a great experience and delicious food. Our server was Zuly and she did a fabulous job and was so warm and helpful.

I came here about 6/8 years ago and have returned and I can say the food is still FANTASTIC. Service was amazing as well, special shoutout to Nick for taking very great care of us all night.

This was our first time coming to this location and it was a great experience. It was my birthday dinner and I was given an ice cream treat. I love that they did that. Chris was an amazing waiter. Will be going back.

Food is fantastic. Service is even better. Been to many Brazilian steakhouses and this is by far the best. Cold buffet has excellent options. Meat was cooked great

The gentleman as we saw as we walked in was nice. He made sure we had a nice place to sit. Zuly lit up the room!!! She was so kind and attentive. She made our first experience here enjoyable. The flank steak and grilled pineapple were our favorites. Definitely get a reservation.

My wife and I came here for our Valentine's Day date. The food was divine. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The service was exceptional. There wasn't a minute were I was waiting on something. The experience is well worth the price.

Pricey, but neat experience! This was my first time trying Leblon and it was pretty good. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Their vegetable/appetizer bar was full of fresh veggies and soups. It's easy to fill up just on that! Their meat options were plentiful and good. My only complaint (and only because of personal preference) was that the filet was wrapped in bacon. Other than that, the sausage and beef flank were amazing! Their black beans from the buffet were well seasoned and paired well with their white rice. They also had cheese squares that came out with the meats that were worth combating my lactose intolerance for!

We went for our anniversary dinner. We arrived well before our reservation time and were immediately shown to a table. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. The sirloin was our favorite. Do yourself a favor and say yes to the pinespple... seriously just say yes! The caipirinha drinks were outstanding, with Hot Brazilian being the best!

The food and service was wonderful! The only issue is where we were seated. We were seated (party of 2) in a section that was right next to a large party in the room right off the buffet. They were pretty loud and not an ideal seating arrangement for a date night when there were so many other seats available. Other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

We are from out of town and always go here when visiting the area. Last night we had dinner and it was very good. The service was prompt and attentive. The salad bar was extensive with new items added to the selection. The meat was done to perfection, flavorful, and when we asked for specific cuts, they brought it right out. Although busy, the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet, making for a great evening.

Great choices of different meats 🍖 👏 for all temperatures of cooking from rear through well done "your choice ". Salad bar one of the best with all selections, Italian, vegetarian,American and Brazilian. Highly recommend that you try this place. Nice bar also with fine selection of wines 🍷 rum and beers 🍻.

This was our first time at this restaurant. Service was excellent! Don’t fill up on the salad bar like we did. It was great, but we left very little room for the main course. The prime rib was out of this world. I did ask for a more rare Fillet mignon. They will get you whatever you ask for!

Was a good food experience my only dog is that our server just wasn’t attentive. A young girl that just didn’t meet the mark. For a $300 dinner I expect better. Had to wave and get her attention for drink refills, everything. Maybe she had a bad night.

Very nice and clean restaurant. The price is like $45. All you can eat. Huge salad bar with lots and lots of choices. The waiters are always on point. They’re constantly coming by your table. You do get a side dish of mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, but this is basically a all you can eat meat. chicken steak lamb. they usually have around 15 different styles of meat. The only real complaint I have is this is not your top cuts of meat as far as steaks go a lot of gristle, I would pay more to have better grade stakes . If you go, you have to try the pineapple. It is amazing. Make sure you save room for it because you will want more. I will be going back from time to time.

First time visiting gotta say super impressed!! Food was excellent and trying everything is a must. The quality of service was the best I have ever experienced in any restaurant. Food was really excellent but service was phenomenal.

My husband loves all things meat and I love the salad bar. Priced well and service is nice. It’s not really a “vibe” but the food is good.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt a bit dated, and while the staff were polite and welcoming, the service was rushed. They often served food without paying much attention to the table’s status badge, which took away from the experience. After each round of serving, the table became messy with plates and scraps, and it didn’t seem like much effort was made to reset or clear things properly. Maybe that’s normal for this type of dining, but it definitely made it harder to enjoy. As for the food, I would rate the taste as average at best. Most of the cuts were served quickly, almost too quickly, which made it difficult to savor or appreciate each piece. Instead of pacing the meal, everything seemed to arrive at the same time, leaving me feeling rushed and unable to really enjoy the variety. For a concept built around tasting and enjoying different meats, I expected more balance and better execution. Overall, while the staff were friendly, the dining experience felt messy, rushed, and the food itself was not memorable. It didn’t quite live up to the anticipation I had for a Brazilian steakhouse.

We were promptly greeted by a friendly face, and our waiter was very nice throughout the evening, which we appreciated. The service and atmosphere overall were pleasant. The food, however, didn’t quite meet expectations for the $47 per person price point. We tried several different meats, and while none were bad, they were all just okay. The filet mignon, in particular, was underwhelming and chewy. The chicken was my favorite. Excellent chimichurri. The restrooms were absolutely disgusting. Again, for this price point it was extremely disappointing. Nothing about the meal really stood out as special, and we’ve had better dining experiences elsewhere for less. While it wasn’t a bad visit, it also wasn’t particularly memorable given the cost.

For the price you pay, this place missed the concept. Waiters ignore red/green on the table. We waited forever for them to stop to offer meat. They seem to have favorite tables. Same meat offered 5x. We won’t be back anytime soon

I dined with my son for my birthday. The food was great! The only person who acknowledged my birthday however was the concierge who checked us in. It wasn’t super busy but there were a few large parties dining as well. Our waiter wasn’t engaging and seemed rushed most of the time. I only learned his name by reading the receipt. The two tables next to me were also celebrating birthdays and were presented with complimentary dessert. It would have been nice to receive the same treatment. It was my first experience and I made the reservation hoping to have my special day acknowledged. I paid, still tipped my waiter and left disappointed.

Food was top notch even their salads are delicious. I could probably go back for just salad. But read until the end for the service part. BBQ they brought out were really good. Don't miss the picanha it was my favorite. The chickens were good but only get a few as they're bigger chunks and when you have multiple pieces of it it starts to slow you down. The only thing missing was probably the sauces to go with the meat. As you have too many meat you'll need some flavors to cut the meaty feeling. We ended up eating more grilled pineapple to fix that. Don't miss the pineapple it was soooooo goooood!!!! Tiramisu was a meh though. The meat guys came to your table regularly just be sure to flip the yes/no because they will not stop putting more on your plate. They will even ask if you want even though you flip no. We came home feeling miserable and that whole night we were suffering from meat sweat and bloated and gassy. I mean it was a great meal but eating too much meat could kill you 😅 One huge down side to me is probably the hosts. When we entered the restaurant one of them looked at us like we couldn't afford to eat here. I dressed up super nice that night as it was new year's eve and also my husband's birthday. My husband also had his dress pants and dress shirts and leather shoes on. After I said I had a reservation he still didn't even smile or make a better facial expression to greet customers. It was also the same when we left. He knew when we were walking towards the exit as I saw him glanced at us but didn't even say thank you or goodbye until I said it. Also I noted in the reservation that it was my husband's birthday and I was expecting something like a small birthday cake or staff coming out to say happy birthday but while we ate the whole time none of that happened. I mean paying this kind of price at a restaurant a little attention to details matter. I don't know if this is lost in translation kind of thing between the host and waiter but this certainly gives me doubt to go back.

We tried this spot for a friend's birthday. Nicholas was our server. We were made to feel like we were more of a burden for him. Maybe they were short staffed. But numerous times we were without drinks. He never introduced himself or asked if anyone wanted anything other than water, we had to ask. Our plates sat stacked up, new entree plates were never offered. We asked for specific things to be brought over and they never came. 2 meat carvers were nice and had personality, while the others seemed grumpy and didn't want to be there. The male host seemed to be grumpy as well, no welcome, just how many, follow me. Our server asked if we were celebrating anything and I told him yes a birthday, we saw him bring it dessert with a candle 3 times, but never to our table. We were over all very disappointed. We'll just stick with Chima in Charlotte

Leblon Brazilian Steakhouse was a disappointment from start to finish. Most of the meat that came out was burnt, dry, and clearly overcooked like it had been forgotten on the grill. On top of that, the service was trash. I asked a simple question about how long it would take for a cut of meat, and the server Marcel snapped back with “one more minuteu” in a nasty, annoyed tone, like I had the audacity to ask him to do his job. Completely unprofessional and unnecessary attitude. Between the burnt meat and rude service, this place is not worth the money or the time. If you don’t like customers asking questions, don’t work in hospitality. Won’t be back.

I strongly don’t recommend this place. We went to a Brazilian steakhouse in Florida and had a great time so we wanted to try this place out for my fiancé‘s 40th birthday. When our party was seated, there was so much confusion. No one explained the process to us however, it was a good thing. We were already familiar. We had no idea who our waiter was. We didn’t get offered refills on drinks until I walked up to a waiter and asked to get water myself. Several of the meats tasted as if they were bad, but covered up with garlic. There were several other meats that had very little flavor. They had very little variety on what means were offered. The people that worked, there were extremely unfriendly, Not pleasant to speak to and act greatly in customer service. And to add salt to our wounds, we all have food poisoning today. I will never go back to this place again

There have been some welcome additions to the menu over the years such as the pineapple being available at all times and serving grilled cheese. Regrettably, the prices have risen substantially, and the quality of the offerings has only declined. I would typically recommend what used to be called the house special if they bother to cook and cut it well. Ideally, the cut isn't paper thin or thicker than a third of an inch and the cut will have a thick, charred ring of fat. This was originally a reliable staple. Of the four servings tonight, I received a mix of thick, blue raw cuts with bone-dry, tough edges or similarly unflavorful wispy sheets of meat, all without a hint of trademark fat. With the most visually promising of those, the exterior turned out to be entirely unchewable gristle. Incredibly inconsistent and disappointing for a meal that costs more than $100 for two in 2025. Sad to see the restaurant in this state. Honorable mention to our waiter who offered to bring some to the table when I asked about the item. I genuinely appreciated the offer, but we were already quite done with the experience. The next time you think about trying this place, instead think about the sheer quantity and quality of meats you can buy for $50 per person. Save yourself money and frustration by supporting a local butcher rather than line the pockets of a guy who can't read a timer and a clown who can't cut straight.
