I've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a wonderful experience. The location is stunning, with great attention to detail in the decor and atmosphere. The food is excellent, made with top-quality ingredients. I haven't had the opportunity to eat here since it changed ownership, so my compliments go especially to the chef at the time, who, with great skill and mastery, created dishes with unique flavors.

Having planned to visit Postua (the town of nativity scenes) today, January 1st, before leaving, I looked for open restaurants and chose Osteria La Barrique, overlooking the main square in Guardabosone, exactly five minutes from my destination. I had the Osteria soup (leeks, potatoes, chestnuts, and lard), served with two slices of bread and a generous sprinkling of parsley. This was followed by the slow-cooked split cockerel with skin-on baked potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses; the cockerel was incredibly delicate, and the cooking process brought out its flavor and respected the ingredients. The dish and side dish were served on a cast iron platter, perhaps the same one the chicken was cooked on. I also greatly appreciated the side dish. The dishes were seasoned properly, requiring absolutely no oil, salt, or pepper. I think I can safely say they use top-quality ingredients. The staff is extremely reserved, almost too much so... The only flaw, which isn't related to the food, is the temperature. Anyway, I gave it a solid five; I don't think I've ever given a restaurant that first time... Prices are normal, fair.

Chef Simone never disappoints: excellent dishes, never predictable, always with a few delicious twists on traditional ingredients, like the risotto with peppers, bagnetto, and anchovies... The restaurant is beautiful, with attention to every detail, tasteful and elegant. The service is prompt and prompt. Congratulations, I hope to return soon!

Cucina casalinga molto buona..I prezzi molto alti per le porzioni servite..Basta scelta di vini del territorio..

La pizza è fantastica, peccato per la lista pizze piuttosto ridotta e la si può trovare solo venerdì e domenica sera. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ambiente caldo e accogliente, arredato con cura e molto pulito. Prezzi economici. Da provare anche la cucina.

Excellent for Business Lunch. Fast and very friendly. The meals at lunch are kind of home kitchen ... simply and delicious. Nice large terrace and as I understood, the village people are quite engaged in the summer with events that keeps the town together and is attractive for visitors too

We found it by chance during a motorcycle ride, and were delighted to have been there. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. The lightly roasted octopus with potatoes was particularly good. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. The slightly warm bread with couscous was also particularly appreciated.
