Ci siamo fermati al rientro da una gita, erano le 13.40 ed eravamo già pronti a saltare il pranzo in quanto nessun ristorante sembrava disponibile.. girando e uscendo un po' abbiamo trovato questo: chiudendo alle 15 abbiamo tentato. Siamo stati accolti nonostante non avessimo prenotato e fosse comunque un orario inoltrato, il ristorante era molto pieno. Abbiamo mangiato davvero benissimo! Un locale da tenere a mente. Il servizio è stato un pochino lento, ma comprensibilmente con la pienezza del locale e con l'orario di punta nelle chiusure. La cittadina poi è uno spettacolo. Ci torneremo!

We were there for a baptism and had a great meal. They prepared special food for us vegans. The atmosphere was comfortable and very nice. Excellent service, everyone was very helpful.
...Friends took us to try their bagna cauda, and since then we've tried to dine there at least a couple of times a year, even though it's not exactly a walk in the park for us, who live in Paderno Dugnano. But now we've also found a lovely B&B just a three-minute walk away, so we'll be seeing each other more often!
Simply FABULOUS!!!! Truly excellent place with a beautiful outdoor terrace where you can eat, the staff was wonderful with both adults and children... and then do we need to talk about the BAGNA CAUDA???? To say it was SPECTACULAR IS AN UNDERSTANDING!!! I highly recommend this place!!
The restaurant is well-kept and clean, with very attentive and helpful service. We sampled several of the restaurant's dishes. I especially enjoyed the excellent tartare and the gnocchi with toma cheese fondue and chanterelle mushrooms, both of which were also very good. To finish, a meringue with ratafia was truly delicious. Excellent and fair value, especially for the portions. Definitely a place not to be missed!
A charming restaurant nestled on the outskirts of a medieval village. The restaurant offers a well-defined and beautifully crafted menu. The dishes are beautifully presented and meticulously crafted. The excellent ingredients and the chef's skill create a combination that will surely amaze you. Very courteous and professional service. An excellent experience overall.

I've been to this restaurant several times and have always had a wonderful experience. The location is stunning, with great attention to detail in the decor and atmosphere. The food is excellent, made with top-quality ingredients. I haven't had the opportunity to eat here since it changed ownership, so my compliments go especially to the chef at the time, who, with great skill and mastery, created dishes with unique flavors.
Having planned to visit Postua (the town of nativity scenes) today, January 1st, before leaving, I looked for open restaurants and chose Osteria La Barrique, overlooking the main square in Guardabosone, exactly five minutes from my destination. I had the Osteria soup (leeks, potatoes, chestnuts, and lard), served with two slices of bread and a generous sprinkling of parsley. This was followed by the slow-cooked split cockerel with skin-on baked potatoes. I thoroughly enjoyed both courses; the cockerel was incredibly delicate, and the cooking process brought out its flavor and respected the ingredients. The dish and side dish were served on a cast iron platter, perhaps the same one the chicken was cooked on. I also greatly appreciated the side dish. The dishes were seasoned properly, requiring absolutely no oil, salt, or pepper. I think I can safely say they use top-quality ingredients. The staff is extremely reserved, almost too much so... The only flaw, which isn't related to the food, is the temperature. Anyway, I gave it a solid five; I don't think I've ever given a restaurant that first time... Prices are normal, fair.
Chef Simone never disappoints: excellent dishes, never predictable, always with a few delicious twists on traditional ingredients, like the risotto with peppers, bagnetto, and anchovies... The restaurant is beautiful, with attention to every detail, tasteful and elegant. The service is prompt and prompt. Congratulations, I hope to return soon!

Cucina casalinga molto buona..I prezzi molto alti per le porzioni servite..Basta scelta di vini del territorio..
La pizza è fantastica, peccato per la lista pizze piuttosto ridotta e la si può trovare solo venerdì e domenica sera. Personale gentile e disponibile. Ambiente caldo e accogliente, arredato con cura e molto pulito. Prezzi economici. Da provare anche la cucina.

Excellent for Business Lunch. Fast and very friendly. The meals at lunch are kind of home kitchen ... simply and delicious. Nice large terrace and as I understood, the village people are quite engaged in the summer with events that keeps the town together and is attractive for visitors too
We found it by chance during a motorcycle ride, and were delighted to have been there. The dishes were delicious and carefully prepared. The lightly roasted octopus with potatoes was particularly good. The desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. The slightly warm bread with couscous was also particularly appreciated.
Excellent food, fresh fish and very tender meat. It's a shame the wait for dessert was so long. Overall, a great place, very elegant with friendly staff.
