Although the parking lot at the front of the restaurant was full, there was an attendant who directed us into a secondary lot behind the restaurant with direct access into the foyer. Our 7:00pm reservation was honored on time and we were promptly seated at a table of our choosing on the outdoor veranda. Our server brought us water and asked us about any other beverages as we reviewed the menu. We ordered our starters within 10 minutes and after these were brought and we had a bit more time to review the menu we ordered our mains. Their Lentil soup is outstanding and can be enjoyed even on a warm evening. Their Lentil soup Fatouche salad we ordered for the table was sufficient for the four (4) of us to share. Both couples ordered one (1) main to share plus a side of Fries that we all enjoyed. The chicken dishes were nicely seasoned and the dishes came with heaping servings of rice and were enjoyed by all of us. We decided to stay for dessert and we shared their Mediterranean Key Lime Pie that had some Halvah sprinkled on it. The pie was nice but I would opt for another dessert at our next time back. We talked over coffee for a good 30-45 minutes and the server did not hover or pressure us to leave. It was an enjoyable meal and we will return again.
My daughter brought me to this spot for brunch. It is the cutest place, takes you away from Florida for a while. The ambiance is relaxing and accentuates one's culinary experience. The menu is varied with different choices from one's everyday eating. Each dish is made fresh and their juices are amazing "Healthy". The service was impeccable, the time for food to be ready was great. I wanted to try the whole menu but left some for another day. If you want to treat your palate to exquisite taste give Café Landwer a shot. I know that you will love it.
What a quaint restaurant with delicious brunch foods! We enjoyed everything, including the fresh, sugar-free juices. Wish I had enough space in my tummy to try their coffee and Pistachio Croissant. I guess we need to come back soon. 😎
Wonderful breakfast experience! The food was very fresh and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great job on presentation and excellent friendly service. We will definitely be back!
Amazing place. So well kept, service was quick, seated right away. Food was delivered fast, accurately and hot! Everything we ordered tasted great. The restaurant itself was clean and organized. Prices are accurate for portion of food you receive. If I had 1 complaint it would be the lack of water served. I'm a big water drinker and I felt like the server couldn't get water to us fast enough. Other than that one complaint the place and food ... worth it!
Café Landwer is absolutely divine. The atmosphere is great, it’s such a cute little place. The food is DELICIOUS. The Nutella & Lotus roselach are to die for! Everything I’ve tried there has been a hit. The service is also great, the staff is kind and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend
Love this place. Outside seating is just lovely, especially in winter months, food is great, big size coffee is a plus. The only problem is that you have to valet your car, no free parking offered.
Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the chicken salad. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The salad was light, filling, and much healthier than other restaurant options. They also have a ton of different gluten free and vegan options. Our server, Camila, was incredibly sweet and attentive. The reastaurant itself has a great vibe.
The design of this place is the main draw; it’s a very well-done space. The food was good as well, and the schnitzel was definitely the best part of the meal.
OM GOODNESS WE HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE KAMILLA (OUR SERVER) WE LET HER PICK ALL OUR DISHES INCLUDING OUR DRINKS AND SHE WAS SPOT ON!!!!! DEFINITELY GOING BACK BEFORE WE HEAD HOME
Great place to have a delicious breakfast/lunch and I believe a dinner as well. Very cozy restaurant, good service. I recommend to book a table in advance on Sunday
Enjoy lunch on a sunny day. Service was good. Food was delicious and good options. Love the atmosphere and location.
What an amazing experience! The staff was top notch, it felt like you were invited to join them at their home for a meal. Food was exceptional! Flavors popping from every bite. Do yourself a favor and visit this gem.
Both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice atmosphere, food was well presented and tasted okay. Parking is difficult if you don't use their valet parking, which is odd for this area. Would visit again if nearby.
Phenomenal Mediterranean / Israeli food. After trying many around the area Cafe Landwer is up there on the list. The falafel is tasty, soft on the inside, yet still crunchy on the outside. Their breads were all incredible. Even salad and drinks were thoughtfully crafted down to the details. I really recommend this place. High praise
Honestly one of the best pita breads I’ve ever had. It’s moist, chewy, and fluffy. I feel like the food was very authentic to the eastern Mediterranean region, possibly Israel. It was fantastic. Great flavors, nice portion sizes. No complaints. Just wish I could visit more often to try other dishes. JUST BE AWARE - parking is not easy and it’s valet only for $5 a car.
Surprisingly, they greet you right away and offer you a table - such a warm welcome! The quality of service is excellent. The shakshuka was a bit on the spicy side, but still very tasty. Overall, I definitely want to come back again!

The food here is so good that they can afford to have incompetent management and people still come back. No one has explained to the hostess that her one and only job is to greet guests. Every time I come here I find myself standing around for 10 minutes looking for the hostess because she is running around the restaurant doing god knows what. Then after being seated I can easily spend 10 minutes trying to flag down a waiter and beg him to take my order. And unfortunately no one has been able to explain to the waiter that an order of coffee should come with milk and sugar. Despite all this I am happy to come here every weekend. And frankly if I had to choose between good food and good service, I will pick good food every time.
The food tasted amazing! Everything was delicious, the coffees both hot and cold were great! Service was very slow. I stood by the entrance for close to 10 mins waiting to be seated when there were plenty of open tables. Food and drinks took a long time to come as well. Our waiter stopped by the table once. We waited long for the bill. Noisy place. Go for the taste of the food…not service or atmosphere.

Cafe Landwer is a cute hidden gem! The food is consistently delicious, and the coffee is just as good. The Shakshuka is a must-try—absolutely amazing! Their pastries are also top-notch, perfect for a sweet treat. The space is cozy and charming, and the customer service is always friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot worth visiting if you’re after a laid-back meal with great flavors!
Cafe Landwer is a nice little place if you’re looking for a quick and nice Israeli breakfast. The servers are nice and will tell you what they think is best. The food and drinks came quick which is nice if you’re in a rush. The Farmers Breakfast was a bit dry, but it satisfied our expectations. Inside, they had a small bar and a lot of tables. They also have outside seating. Inside, it was a bit cold, but overall, this place is very nice and I recommend coming here. Food: 3.7 stars Service: 5 stars Atmosphere: 4.3 stars
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the service is great. I tried their pancakes, but they were just okay, nothing special. I also tried the Nutella roll, which was delicious, and the cappuccino was fine. The price is very reasonable and good. I think the food is tasty, but I haven’t tried their main dishes yet. I should definitely try them and give my review.

As a coffee enthusiast and guru, I really wish my experience and review would be 5 stars but I am willing to try it once again to hopefully make it a 5 stars review. The service and atmosphere despite ordering takeout was fast and quite honestly the most enjoyable experience I've had in quite a while in the Hallandale/Aventura area. However the coffee lacks the depth and complexity. Coffee is bitter and you can tell by tasting it that the machine is not in the best clean and running condition and for that my review can't be any higher and for the amount we collectively spent, I held this establishment at a higher standard.
