Tip: Order the wide soup noodles, they cost extra but are worth it. The restaurant has moved to a better location overlooking the center court for horse races.

Great classic style Chinese food very nice place to go not like a hole in the wall. They’ve been around forever and consistently. It’s always great never a bad meal there.
My friends and I really enjoyed eating at Christina lee’s last night. The new location was very welcoming and we were able to sit down right away despite being busy which was great. The wonton / egg drop soup was a perfect start to the meal and the ribs were delicious. I can’t wait to come back!
Yessica at the host counter was extremely polite during my whole ordering experience on the phone. In person she greeted me and made me feel welcome. I can’t forget to mention Junior who had the most welcoming smile and was attentive as well!
The best Chinese food ever. Delivery service is only seven dollars. Food arrived hot. Chicken with black bean was very good. Egg rolls are huge and tasty. Dumplings were good. Large portions.
Always a delicious meal, the steamed dumplings, special wonton soup and ribs are not to be missed. On race days, it tends to be LOUD which is why I did not rate 5 stars for atmosphere, that is not to fault the restaurant.
We had a retirement end of year party and everything went smoothly and perfectly. The egg roll was fresh and had a nice crunch to it and was very filling. I had the broccoli chicken with fried rice. For dessert, I tried the pecan ice cream on a crunchy waffle. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Best Chinese food I have had in South Florida. There were five of us for dinner and we ordered ribs for an appetizer and then an assortment of entrees to share. Everything was delicious, but the one dish I was most anticipating did not disappoint me as I suspected it might. I love shrimp with Lobster sauce, and every time I order, it always comes with a white sauce. At Christine Lee's it was served with what the Chinese call gourmet lobster sauce, which is a rich brown sauce that is absolutely delicious. After I tasted it, I was ready to do my happy dance! If you are from the Boston area, definitely visit Christine Lee's.
Pan fried dumplings, fried wings, honey garlic chicken, Buddha's Delight vegetables, hot and sour soup and wonton soup and Rangoon (sorry if it's misspelled) were all great and plentiful! And the leftover take-out containers are wire/metal free so they're microwaveable - rare and thank you! Strong drinks will give you a nice buzz. Very comfortable strip club-like or lounge-type of chairs, so you'll want to stay. Plus, Tina, our Server, was genuinely nice and attentive!!
Best Chinese we have had in Florida. We had spring rolls, egg rolls, spare ribs, general tsaos chicken, chicken fried rice & Peking duck. Food: 5 stars +++. I felt like I was in NYC Chinatown. It’s the best Chinese food we have had in FL. Service: 5 stars +++. We had an awesome server. Santiago did a great job. Atmosphere: Kind of quiet but a bit plain. The chairs were so comfy. Overall experience: 5 stars +++
If you have a craving for a crispy egg roll, this is the restaurant, oh and their spare ribs are tender and sweet.
Once coming into this restaurant I was greeted by the hostess Nick. She was nice, kind and welcoming. I am writing this review in hopes that her work doesn't go unnoticed. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my peer. 10/10
I'll go have some dinner there recently and you know is not used to be like that Kristen Lee you change a lot and the price is so expensive small portion you know used to be better
Just had dinner would like to say I was welcomed with a smile from the host Nick. She sat me down right away service was quick and easy the best tasting Chinese food i have had in a while since i moved from New York. 5/5 recommend
No words can do this justice. Absolutely, incredible egg rolls!!! Everything was so delicious... The soup, beef, lobster, ribs, and on and on!!! And, I'm not just saying it because my friend's family has been eating here (following them from location to location) for over four decades. The food is so good I understand why they have been, though
Great experience at the restaurant. The food was awesome. Their spare ribs were very tasty and the meat fell off the bone. Service was spectacular. Our server German was great. He was very attentive and made sure we were very taken care of. Great place to eat if you're in the mood for good Chinese food. Overall great place will definitely go again.
The Best! Hands down on of the best Chinese restaurants. We are from Manhattan and every time we come to FL we go here. Better than any place in NY
NEW/BETTER LOCATION! It is very important to know that Christine Lee's has moved to a much better location in Gulfstream Park. The restaurant is now across the way from Yard House overlooking the center Court for the horse races! That means that they have the largest outdoor seating area of all the restaurants there and it is wonderful! This restaurant is family owned and operated and the personal touch is obvious when you see the presentation of the food and service. I came in for the lunch and the menu is very affordable with very large portions for the price. Lunch is everyday from noon to 4 p.m. I definitely recommend this place if you want great Asian fusion, Chinese flare food! The steamed shrimp dumplings are to-die-for!
This is on the pricey-er side, but the spare ribs and the lamb chop pictured were good. lots of vegetables to round it out and refills of tea. good scenary at gulfstream. may be back to bet on the horse races. had a good time
The food was so fresh and delicious! The service was good and fast. I got the orange chicken and it was the best orange chicken ever, so crispy and sweet. Got the walnut chicken and it was good! The drinks were good.
Love this place! Start with some ribs and coconut shrimp. Follow with their awesome aged sirloin steaks or chicken francese along side of pasta sautéed with oil and broccoli. Or if in the mood for something light, maybe a Poké bowl. Mmmm. They're moved recently downstairs across from Yard House. 👍
Another amazing visit but all Japanese sushi that was sizable but unbelievably awesome'

Love Christine Lee’s!! A great place to eat before dancing at the club nearby. Also great for lunch and enjoying a nice sunny day at the racetrack. The wings and ribs are amazing and service is top notch. Definitely support this family owned business if you are in the area!
Best spare ribs on the planet! Make sure to order the wide soup noodles, they cost extra but worth it! Send back those skinny excuse for noodles. Order the egg drop wonton combo soup! Everything else is up to you. You won't make a mistake! Prices reasonable, bring your appetite and love ❤️ your life!
I ordered a shrimp, wings, rib and fried won tong appetizer.FOOD WAS SPOILED!! ONLY BATTER!!! informed SERVER AND MGT all they kept saying was you ordered it. 🤮🤢🤮🤮🤮!!! I SUGGEST DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
My family has been coming to Cristy Lee’s for over 30 years. I wish people knew how good the food was here! The location is a little bit odd because it is in the race track but plenty of people seem to go to Yard House, which is right across the way and it doesn’t bother them! It is truly some of the best Chinese food in South Florida let alone all over. We always start with a ton of appetizers. The spare ribs are out of this world, and they randomly have the best chicken wings of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. They also have great coconut, shrimp, beef, teriyaki skewers, and the biggest stuffed eggrolls you’ve ever seen! They start you off with these also little rice crisps with sauce that our whole table devours. For main, we love the Mongolian beef, the walnut chicken, and the beef and broccoli. They also do a barbecue pork fried rice that is out of this world! We really love the food here and would hate to see anything bad happened to this restaurant because it really is the best Chinese food you can get in Florida!
Christine Lee’s is and will always be my favorite Chinese restaurant ever. I grew up in another time and place in the Bronx in NYC. We would always drive to Chinatown in lower Manhattan for authentic Chinese food. My parents moved to Florida in the 70’s where I was introduced to Christine Lee’s. I got to know the owner Mary Lee who put her heart and soul into her kitchen. Presidents and famous celebrities dined there often. As the years went by they relocated from A1A to Gulfstream Park. I made it a point to dine there at least once a week if not more often. Mary would make me dishes that weren’t even on the menu. She is one of the nicest and gracious people I’ve ever met. All great things must come to an end. Mary thank you for everything. Bob Hutt & Family

The food was amazing. Inside it was beautiful. It had nice chandeliers. The outdoor sitting area was nice and comfy. It was a good place to enjoy the night air. Everything tasted great. The volcano roll was one of the best I had ever had. I would recommend it. It was the perfect starter. Everything tasted fresh and good. The Szhewan Fish was excellent. I got to pick the heat. I liked it. The crispy duck delish. The skin nice and crispy. I loved it. The service was a little slow but worth the food. the gratuity was included in the bill. We enjoyed ourselves here. I was glad I tried this restaurant today.
Went for an afternoon lunch with my wife and kids. Service was friendly and prompt possibly because we came so early in the afternoon so wasn't very busy at the time. I had the mango mojito which was refreshing and delicious we ordered wonton soup and veggie spring rolls for appetizers. The dynasty boat of sushi is huge even though it says it's for two people. All the pieces were fresh and constructed well the kids had a rice bowl with chicken which was very good. I would of given a 5 star but there was an impact fee that wasnt explained prior and the gratuity was already included even though we were only a party of 4. Service would of warranted a good tip but I can see where that would cause a problem if service wasn't to par.

There were three of us dining. My wife had a soup and a spicy tuna role I had the sashimi appetizer and a dragon roll while our friend had linguine and clams. Right off from the start there were issues with the service. We sat with our menus closed for about 15 minutes before they even took our order. Then they brought my wife’s soup. Then we waited and we waited. Then they brought the linguine and then when I finally tracked down our waitress she went to check on the sushi bar and brought my appetizer along with our rolls for dinner. The food was excellent and I would give the restaurant 5 stars if the service had not been so bad.
The food is well seasoned taste great, but you never know if they're going to take orders in the evening. They close randomly, so don't plan on dining without leaving your options open.
The customer service was friendly, creating a pleasant atmosphere. I'd suggest reserving a larger table as the portion sizes and number of plates can be a bit overwhelming. However, the food didn't quite have a wow factor; it felt like standard Americanized Chinese cuisine. The garlic honey chicken had an unusual thick sauce, almost like it was on the verge of caramelization. Unfortunately, the shrimp fried rice and egg roll tasted bland. Considering the relatively high prices, you could easily find Chinese food of better quality and value elsewhere.
Mongolian beef with no beef… I just moved back to Aventura, and had a craving for some Chinese. The place I usually order from is closed for vacation so I checked google, and there it was Christine Lee’s!!! I remembered eating there so many times in the past at the old location. Quickly called and placed an order for some Mongolian beef and white rice Picked it up and took it home, Small container with a lot of white and green onions and I do mean A LOT!!! Now don’t get me wrong I love onions both white and green and the sauce was good with the white rice, but…… Where was the beef? It’s called Mongolian beef on the menu right? I counted 2 larger very thin slices and maybe 6 extra little pieces of beef, that was it, now it’s not my intention to just criticize the lack of beef, I would actually just eat the white rice with the onions and the sauce if that was on the menu, but I’m sure I ordered and paid for the Mongolian beef and I expected some MORE beef. I hope the restaurant sees this as constructive criticism not even mentioning the word bad once, just please put some beef in the Mongolian beef dinner (it was not from cheaper lunch menu specials) Give the customer what they expect when ordering their food. I’ll be back to try again, hope you’re not offended
I went with my husband to eat, and while we were waiting at the bar, we witnessed a very disturbing incident, wheres the bartender verbally assaulted a lady waiting for her husband, to have dinner at the restaurant. The guy cursed at her in front of her children. The woman asked for the manager And an older lady, who claimed to be the owner came. Unfortunately the owner was confronted by the bartender as well. Very unfortunate situation which should've been taking care of by the owner. Not a very friendly place. That bartender who had an spanish accent should've been fired right there. It was an upsetting situation for us. .
Christine Lee's is an Asian Fusion restaurant located at the Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, and horse racing is a major attraction there. There is also a casino there. We wanted to see the Christmas lights that they advertised for the entire park. To make a night out of it, we chose Christine's for dinner and later the casino for an hour. We ordered a Lycheetini and a Merlot to start with. The Lycheetini was really good , but the Merlot was average quality that upset my digestive system later in the evening. For appetizers, we got the Crab Rangoon, and they were delicious. However, the Pan Fried Pork Dumplings weren't cooked long enough and did not taste right. We tried to send them back, but the server said that's how they are supposed to be. This was not our first time at a Chinese restaurant, and we knew better. After a small discussion, I was able to send my order back, and they took it off the bill. The Barbequed Spare Ribs are advertised as their long-time specialty of the house, so we felt confident ordering a plate of them. Unfortunately, they came out looking burnt, dark black. You can see them in my photos. We asked the server to please bring out a new plate with non-burnt ribs. I'm sure he was rolling his eyes by now, but there is no excuse to serve food that way. By the way, we are very polite and apologetic when we send anything back. Our server said that was how they were made. The same small conversation took place again, and he brought out a new batch that looked and tasted delicious! So much for the appetizers. The main courses were Mongolian Beef and Honey Garlic Chicken. We loved the Chicken, which was cooked perfectly. The Mongolian beef was more average and not as good as other places make it. The Special Fried Rice was made with chicken, pork, and shrimp. It was good. Our bill came to $157.51 for 2 people. They already included 18% for tip and took an "impact fee", whatever that is. Service is very good here. Our server was Yong, who was excellent at his job. No complaints of him at all. He was attentive and pleasant. I would rate him 5 stars. I think that their food items are overpriced for average tasting food. They need to step it up or lower their prices. The competition is out there. Restaurants are popping up everywhere! People want to get out again after Covid. This place was mostly empty. Our reservations were for 6:30pm. It should have been crowded during Christmas week. Parking was nearby in a lot, and there is also valet parking right outside this place.
First time trying this place, I always heard good things about this place. The food is priced kind of high to me. The sushi is price is avg to a few bucks more. The Beef Chow Fun and Mongolian Beef (not pictured) are over priced for the amount of food you get. There wasn’t enough fun (noddles) in the dish, both dishes had a lot of onions. The food tasted good overall, but won’t go back.

Order take out over the phone, my own fault for not checking prices but it Chinese that I didn’t think it was necessary. I’m from New York and for 3 people I have never had to pay 118 dollars. I would have been fine is the food was worth it, honestly I wish I waited until I got back home for my craving. Wish I was told how much over the phone, I would never make them take it back.

Best thing about this place is the noodles they put on table when u sit down and the fortune cookies when you finish. Otherwise my food was disgusting, server looked miserable. Good thing they add 18% ( not 15). That’s probably why the server could care less. Worst service period… I would never go back! Ever! Way overpriced. I don’t mind paying……..for quality ( not here)
What Happened?? At one time my Favorite Restaurant. Service is terrible and the food now is just fair.. Prices are very high but that would be fine if the food was of that quality. Steak was so fatty, and when server was told nothing was even done. You can not just continue living off your Name..
This place is just ok. Not worth the price and is very dirty - dated decor, disgusting old carpet, ripped chairs. The waiter was not pleasant to deal with and he acted like he was doing us a favor. I then realized why, it’s because they include the tip and the staff don’t try at all.
Usually I go once on every trip to Florida It seems since they moved downstairs they have been very lax on service and the food has changed in the very degree that I have decided to NOT VENTURE BACK SAT AT THE BAR WITH 2 Bartenders and 3 people at the bar They took drink order 15 minutes later took my Apps Then one bartender who took our say be right back had eaten our apps and 2 drinks later Showed up and started to make and eat here sandwich which is no big deal but 45 minutes later asked is we wanted something else At that point I said maybe I wanted a bite of her sandwich Got check and left Tidbits were a little dry That’s just my observation after 15 years of going there 2-3 times a year
I was really disappointed with my experience at Christine Lee and Goldstein. The attention was seriously lacking staff seemed uninterested and slow to respond. The ambience felt dated and uninviting, which didn’t help the overall vibe. As for the food, it was just average not bad, but definitely not memorable. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
Christine Lee’s used to be the best Chinese food my family and I had enjoyed for over 10 years, but since their move downstairs, the quality has taken a serious hit. My local Chinese restaurant now serves much better food at a more reasonable price. We ordered the steak kew, honey garlic chicken, lo mein, and fried rice, but none of it had any flavor—it was incredibly disappointing. Even the Shirley Temples, which should have been a simple treat during Dry January, felt like a waste of calories. We typically visit a few times a year but hadn’t been in a while. After this experience, it’s easy to see why. What a letdown.

Arrived at the restaurant at 630pm this evening. Ordered our food immediately. Appetizer and soup brought out fairly quickly. Then nada! Waiter didn't know what was taking so long. Spoke to the manager, she didn't know what was taking so long. After waiting for 45 minutes and watching two tables arrive after us and served. We walked out. It's obvious no one is controlling the kitchen. They must be using AI already!
Christine Lee's used to serve the most incredible Chinese food I have ever had outside of Chinatown. Every dish was incredibly prepared and I could count on it being the same each and every time. I was there last night after bragging to my son how delicious it was and was sadly and totally disappointed. The food was awful having not only very little flavor but simply not the food that this restaurant was famous for. The costs are very high end but the flavours are very low end. Save your money. What a disappointment!!!
Service is not reflect the price. Food is ordinary. Additional question about the check. Besides tips included to the bill (which I hate it) they added some ”other” charges 15$ and plus some extra ”impact fee”?! Do not recommend this place

Met with a large party. Very expensive ($140.00 for 2 with tax and mandatory 18% tip included 2 appetizers, 2 wines, 2 beers, fried rice, and 2 main courses). Ordered Orange chicken spicy and it came out dry, mild, and bland. Not crispy at all like they said. Worst Chinese food I have ever had.
