"The Nam" IS: - The BEST PHO IN FORT WORTH. - The best place for fried rolls in Fort Worth - A great place to go for Spring Rolls as well. "The Nam" IS NOT: - The cleanest establishment in Fort Worth - A great place to go if you enjoy things like Air Conditioning - English friendly lol
Best pho, hands down. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid. I will chose this over any pho place anywhere.
I’ve had Pho all over town, and all over the great state of Texas. This place is the legit. Real, authentic and taste great. Solid staff, super nice and not to mention that they have been around for a long time. My Pho place for sure. Love this spot. Beef Skirt with Fatty brisket Pho and fried egg rolls is what I usually order.
After traveling to Vietnam, we searched for a good local restaurant and find this one. We have been coming here for 16+ years and love it! It's consistently delicious. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious and authentic. We've tried newer "upscale, gourmet" Vietnamese, but nothing compares to the authenticity and simplicity of Pho Nam.
Went there on my break and had a great experience! The lady that helped me out was super sweet and helped me choose my plate. The food was steaming delicious, and the spring rolls and Thai tea put the cherry on top. Will come back again.
Their beef pho is SO GOOD! I am so happy to find a place that will give you either lean brisket -or- fatty brisket depending on your preference, instead of just assuming you like the fatty kind. Their iced code with condensed milk is also delicious. All of the items on their menu are affordably priced and they have lots of variety. We will definitely be back in the future to try other things.
I've frequented this location for over 15 years and they've never let me down.
This Ma & Pa restaurant has the best steak phô I've ever had anywhere! Their spring rolls and peanut sauce are also the best out of all the rest I've tried anywhere else. Everything is very fresh. And beautifully made. I highly recommend this place, I've been going there for about 17 years.
Small but well maintained. It's clean, better than most big name fast food restaurants. The customer service is very good. My appetizers were brought out fast and they look good. I would come here often
Favorite pho place and I've been to many. So so cheap too. It's so much value it's hard not to like. They raised their prices but it's still such a good deal. $10 for the large pho $4 for a bahmi.
This place was delish. Banh mis for $4!!! They’re delicious too! And the beef pho was better than lots of places. Would totally come back and recommend to non vegetarian friends.
Come here all the time it never disappoints and owners are sooo nice. The all beef pho always is super delicious the spring rolls really good and 10/10 service.
I've been going to this place for years...the most authentic that I've ever had. However, it seems they might have had a change of management and the taste was...well, not bad, justnot as good. Hoping it was just one of those "off" days. Very nice inside and lovely people, as always.
Delicious Vietnamese food! Best place to dine, the ambiance is quite very nice staff. If you are in the Haltom City area you need to stop in & make sure you get the fried egg roll! Delish!!
Our favorite place to eat pho. We have been coming here for about 12 years. Hands down the best in the area. Know that it is closer to genuine Vietnamese food, so don't expect some mall food court type food. Go with a open mind and learn what real pho and spring rolls should taste like.
Best Pho in the Fort Worth area and it's also the cheapest. The broth is rich and not salty or made from powder like other pho places. Have been going for several years.
I love it! Best flavor in the pho broth! Been customer for 15 years!
Authentic vietnamese! I love eating here, the pho bo kho is my absolute all time favorite and if you order it with the banh mi it really has no equal. The prices are perfect for delicious, fresh food. Definitely worth your time to eat here.
Wow! So I've been looking for a good Banh Mi since my fave (Siagon Baguette) in OKC closed down few years ago. Chicken or pork, extra spicy.... can't keep your eyes open while eating em.
Before there were boba tea places by all the colleges and pho was widely known in the area this place was here. This is where I first had pho and thai tea and boba and it is still my favorite. Reasonably priced and very tasty. I have noticed many of the newer places are rather bland in comparison. This pho is my go to when I feel a cold coming on too. Better than OTC meds, imo. The thai tea is not watered down or over iced. I don't like it when there is so much ice in the tea that you can't get to the boba buried under the mountain of ice. That is not an issue here at all. Huge plus for me is that when you order a boba tea it is served in a glass with a spoon rather than a plastic to-go cup. If I'm not taking it out I do not want to waste the single use plastic. Side note: some one here has a green thumb. I love to look at all the healthy potted plants in the restaurant!
This restaurant is such a great find! The food is flavorful and authentic. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The place has a cool vintage vibe, and the family that runs the restaurant is very kind. Great food, great value, and kind people - can’t beat it!
We've been coming here for years and we absolutely love it. I don't have to ask for extra peanut sauce with my spring rolls because they know what we want when we sit down! Large portions, incredible prices, nice calm atmosphere. No one is blasting music, glaring at you, no flickering lights or anything like that.
NEVER COME TO THIS PLACE because it’s just for me… But in all seriousness… this place was so amazing, the food was so outstanding, the service was amazing and welcoming, and the atmosphere is so cute , i can’t wait to show everyone this place.
When I want some good pho, this is where I go every time. I’ve had the seafood pho, the meatball pho, but 99% of the time I get the beef stew with pho noodles, as shown in the photos. It’s a family owned place and they are very kind. Prices are more than reasonable. Don’t forget to tip!
Even if it's not the best looking place, it is for sure one of the best pho places, the beef stew is also great. For sure a come back restaurant
It's okay..not that very clean, but it's my mom's favorite place to eat, before she passed away she loved this place I come here for the memories ❤
This is the best Pho spot in east Fort Worth.

Exceptional beef Pho, what better way to start your day! I just discovered this jewel of a restaurant on my way to Asian market and turned around to check it out. It's a little after 9am and they're open! Wow, was I pleased :) I recently discovered that in Vietnam Pho is considered by many to be a breakfast food. So you can imagine my joy at finding a Vietnamese restaurant open at 9am. I'm not sure when they open and I saw no posted hours. I started with shrimp and pork fresh rolls served with peanut sauce, they were fresh and delicious. Then came the beef Pho. The first real test is to taste the broth before you consider adding anything. It was excellent, too good to add anything. They do have all the usual sauces on the table should you choose to customize yours. I look forward to my next visit although I live out of town so I'm not sure when that will be. Also there is an Asian market in the same shopping center so I was able to check out a new store too and that's another story.
I been going here for about 2 years and I love it, a small ma and pa place. Cheap and good food
Delicious soup and the people very nice with us we like to eat here everything is super good 🫰🏼
Really good food and very nice owners/staff. Also, the prices are so cheap and portion sizes are big. Really fantastic place.
I’ve eaten at many Pho places around Texas and this is by far my favorite. Best egg rolls I’ve ever had. The Pho Ga had so much good flavor I didn’t have to fix it up too much with sauces. The waitress was sweet and fast. It’s an old building, little hole in the wall, it’s got more flavor lol! I’ll be coming here from now on!

Have been coming here for over 20yrs, but since covid, we haven't been there in awhile, till the other day. It was different, the pho was not the same recipe we were use to, still good, but different. Their peanut sauce for spring rolls was different too, seemed to have five spice in it, which we're not use to. Overall our lunch was good, but its different than a year ago.
Super delicious food. We have been going here for years. This is one of our all time favorite places to visit. The food never disappoints. Will come back many times more. Only negative review is that the food can sometimes take a bit. Just don’t go when you’re super hungry. Other then that it’s great.
I like the foods and the price. This restaurant may be the only kept the price low but the food still good. The owner was friendly and the restaurant is clean.
The food came out very fast. I got Pho noodles with beef. And iced coffee. Comfortable place. Lots of windows. They could stand to clean the men's room. I go here a lot.
I came here for the first time today. I ended up going with my go to vermicelli noodle bowl. It was a little off in my opinion, but not bad. My buddy got the same thing but with rice. It came with the traditional soup. The soup had a little ginger in it from what I can tell. Again, could be different, but not bad. All and all, I would go again if I am in the area.

My brother and I take our 91-year-old mother out for lunch every week, and we often stop by here for a simple bowl of pho and some Vietnamese coffee. My mother loves the family-friendly atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. I appreciate the fast service, clean restaurant, and reasonable prices. If you happen to visit Haltom City, stop by for a comforting bowl of pho and a warm, welcoming family environment.
Food was deLish and great Pho’ Needs to be freshened up as far as the place goes.
Delicious food at reasonable prices! We have gotten the Pho several times, as well as different kinds of vermicelli and all were very flavorful. The beef vermicelli is especially good. The bathroom was not well cared for however, and was quite dirty. It was out of soap and towels.

I usually get pho from Pho Hung but they closed early on XMas eve so I decided to try Pho Nam right down the street. First of all the pho was pretty good. I’d give the broth a 5/5, the noodles a 4/5 and the meat a 3/5. The reason for the 2 stars overall is that the shrimp spring rolls we ordered were absolutely horrendous. They tasted like cigarettes and rotten sea food. My daughter and I both had to spit out the bite we took. I almost didn’t even consider eating the pho after that tbh but I’m glad I gave it a try bc it wasn’t bad.
Great food but, had a cockroach running around on our table🤢

Worst place ever.. while eating I am still seeing 3 tables dirty. Not clean at all.. the host which the owner’s daughter is on the phone watching the people walk in. But the 3 tables still dirty. The pho is fairly good.. but I can’t finish my plate because I am thinking how clean is this place.
This place has a lot of fake reviews. It’s filthy and trashy from exterior to interior. The food is old and disgusting. The meat in my pho was dark brown not clean or lean at all. Steer away and find a better place. Seems like the place hasn’t been updated since the 80’s!!
Great staff, terrible pho and vermacelli. Pho had no flavor and the rice noodles were mooshy. I normally go to dong ba, but they were closed so I tried the next highest rated pho place to terrible results. Left without finishing the meal, but the staff was apologetic.
different people running it now... 21 years frequenting here... same menu (was really good food), same shop, but missing the decent waiters and friendly-clean environment... May Lan (nearby) remains great - same owner, same fun crew, same... big mistake to trust your nostalgia
