Place is very good ! The food is very high quality. The fried calamari was excellent. The lobster francaise was very interesting and delicious!

Great staff. The gardens outside are beautiful and have a lot of shade and make wonder photographs. Parking is very easy and the ball room is spacious and have pretty uplighting

We have dined here many times over years (going back to the old days in Chambersburg) and always love it. They do fish better than almost anyone. We especially love their Macadamia Nut Encrusted Grouper. The Crab Cakes are great, too. Our friend said the Fish and Chips was wonderful. Leave room for dessert because they serve Artic Ice Cream, Cannoli (see photo) and many other treats. Service is always first-class, too.

Friendly staff, made set up and clean up a lot easier with assisting in keeping with packaging etc. Beautiful grounds for photos and plenty of parking. Buffet food was delicious!!

I got married here on 10.06.24 and they did a fantastic job. They were so supportive throughout planning and made the entire process a breeze. They do all of the set up and take down and packed up all of my belongings the same way I brought it in. They decorated everything beautifully and provided a lot of their own decor as well. The food was FANTASTIC and service was incredible. They were very dog friendly and allowed our pup to be there for all our photos and the ceremony. All my guests had a wonderful time and it was truly a perfect day thanks to the staff and all their hard work.

Was here for my cousin's wedding reception 😍! This place was very elegant. They served hor'dourves and had an open bar while waiting to be seated in the next room. Everything was nice and the staff was very attentive to everyone 💯. I would love to have something here in the future! I was very impressed with everything 👏🏿 🙌🏾

Amazing experience. We went for our 31st anniversary, with our moms, and my brother, his wife, and our niece. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was fantastic - very attentive/pleasant/professional, the drinks were excellent, the appetizers wonderful (my 9yo niece, after eating the appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and calamari) said that she only needed the apps!), and the entrees were delicious. We also had dessert and coffees which were exceptional. Definitely a feel of the old days in Chambersburg, with excellent food and exceptional service - well done!! We'll definitely be back!!

Over the last few years I’ve both attended and hosted small private gatherings for family and friends at Stone Terrace and each time I request either Rob or Will. Both of these young men have the utmost respect and truly know how to provide an amazing dining service. Recently my mom and I threw my dad a surprise birthday party for a larger group in one of their private rooms and the week of the event Rob was reaching out to us to ensure we were happy with the menu, reviewed every detail, made his own suggestions to better the event, and basically told me he would make whatever I wanted “happen”. When I arrived early to set up, Will was going to be our main server for the night and not only was the room stunning and just how I pictured it, he helped me grab everything from my car in the rain, helped me set it all up, made really helpful suggestions for decor set-up as well, and ensured I was well attended even prior to the start of the event. During the event I have nothing but great things to say, he was handling a large group and absolutely killed it. Everyone complimented the service and the food was incredible. PLEASE do yourself a favor and request either of those two whenever you’re hosting or even just dining at the restaurant, you won’t regret it.

Food was delicious! We enjoyed the Grouper, Seafood Risotto and Stuffed Shrimp. The desserts we ordered were the Crene Brule and Chocolate Mousse, both of which were fantastic. The Hostess, Bartender and Waitperson were all so pleasant. Reservation was right on time and we were even seated a few minutes early. Very comfortable and cozy place to dine.

There’s always a great meal to be had here. My family has celebrated many events at this restaurant and it has always been good. They have excellent, prompt service as well as delicious food. I highly recommend you check them out.

We had a small dinner with family here and we were blown away. The wine room was lovely and perfect for our party of 10 (plus 2 kids). It was private, with doors that could close. The food was amazing! All the fish was so fresh and lovely. The servers were attentive and did not rush us out, even though we were basically closing down the restaurant. Great place, highly recommend.

My husband and I got married here on 11/11/23. From our first visit touring the venue, to the night of our wedding, everything was PERFECT, seamless, easy. Joelynn and Trish were there for us every step of the way, answering my many questions and providing their professional opinions on things. The night before our wedding (at our rehearsal), we made the decision to move the ceremony indoors due to the colder temperatures, and within minutes there were people everywhere moving chairs and making sure the indoor space was just as beautiful as their outdoor patios. Their staff does everything for you: setup, cleanup, box up all decorations for us to pick up the next day, and everyone is so polite and nice. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you for making our wedding an unforgettable day! 💜

My daughters wedding was a huge success. The food was amazing, everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. The sit down dinner went off like clockwork. The champagne toast was wonderful and everyone had everything they needed. My guests were commenting how great it was. The outdoor area was adorned with beautiful flowers and looked beautiful. Each and every service provider was impeccable. I would whole heartedly recommend this venue for any occasion.the ball room looked great. I can’t say enough good things about it. The staff even cleaned up all the decorations for me to load into my car afterwards. I was thoroughly impressed. I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

My husband and I eloped back in March, and over the weekend, we had our "reception" at this gorgeous place! We come to eat here quite often, and food is always incredible! However, we never experienced the party/venue side of The Stone Terrace before, until now. After the amazing experience we had with Trish, there was no need to look any further. We are beyond happy with how everything turned out! From the very beginning, my husband and I were very pleased with every aspect of this experience. Trish was absolutely incredible! She continued to take time out of her busy schedule to meet up with us if we needed anything. She made us feel very special in every way and we couldn't be more grateful! As the planning continued, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and talk with Joelynn. Joelynn dealt with every email I sent to her (which was a lot LOL), and always accommodated with our ideas and wishes! She was fantastic! If Joelynn was out of the office, Karen would always be there to respond to my emails. The team here is just amazing!! Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the food is delicious and the staff is INCREDIBLE! Planning any type of event can be super stressful- however, Trish, Joelynn and Karen made it the complete opposite for us! We can't thank them enough for making our special day a dream come true!

Eleven for lunch on a beautiful day. We were seated in a private room with a round table affording everyone the ability to talk and catch up with one another. The salad served family style was delicious. Most of us had the crab cake platter and were extremely happy with our choice. Our server was very attentive and truly made for a wonderful day. We will definitely return!

We ate here tonight and LOVED IT! The property is decorated so nicely for fall. Service was excellent, and the food was great. The Halibut was the best I've had. It's hard to find a restaurant with this caliber service and quality.

I had my daughter’s Bridal shower in the Russo Room. It was so beautiful. The room was gorgeous and the food was delicious and plentiful! Joelynn was wonderful to work with, and the servers and staff were great! Would definitely recommend this venue to all!!

My family just had the best time attending a wedding at The Stone Terrace! It is such a beautiful venue, and the food, drinks, and staff were all superb. Best of all, I was told by the bride and groom that the planners at The Stone Terrace were very accommodating and easy to work with. It’s clear that they take great pride in making your event perfect. I don’t think you can go wrong by holding YOUR event here. It was wonderful!

Spoke to the gentleman Ryan upfront he helped me give gifts to a preplanned date for my best friend and his wife. Super helpful would definitely recommend super polite super nice 10 out of 10 would recommend going to this place big shout out to Ryan really amazing wouldn’t have happened without him.

I attended the most beautiful wedding last night at the Stone Terrace! Everything was done to perfection! Most of the staff seemed to be young, and I was blown away about how attentive they were. They were on top of every little detail, from serving hors d'oeuvres, to cleaning up tables, to refilling your water glasses, without even asking. I've never seen such a group of people work so hard and so efficiently. Everyone did a phenomenal job! The venue is absolutely stunning, as well as the outside patio, and where the ceremony was held. I've never been there before and didn't realize how much property and beautiful landscaping they have. If you are looking for a large venue in the Hamilton, NJ area, I highly recommend the Stone Terrace!

9/13/2025 was my first visit at The Stone Terrace. Very beautiful and elegant for any celebration. I will definitely used this place for any occasion of mine, and I will definitely recommend it to everyone. Good food and all.

There for a charity event. Nice wait staff, great bartenders, and awesome venue. Very nice place.

We had a milestone birthday dinner here very recently. Everything was done to perfection, including how beautifully the room was set when we arrived. Our dinner guests loved the food, service, and presentation. Throughout the planning process leading to the event itself, Joelynn and Cathy could not have been more helpful and reassuring.

Great food, service, and the whole team were absolutely professional. Really impressed with this venue. Would recommend to others for their wedding or special events.

I was pleasantly surprised, my wife and I are vegetarians, and looking at the menu beforehand we saw no options for us. Although the waiter was extremely accommodating, giving us multiple options off the top of his head. Our food was spectacular to boot.

The last time we ate at John Henry's was close to twenty years ago, before it became The Stone Terrace, when the restaurant was still located in its original Chambersburg/"Burg" location in Trenton. Now the restaurant is a part of a much bigger complex, a venue offering banquet facilities and is popular for weddings and other celebrations. John Henry's still retains its initial seafood specialization but also offers pasta dishes, chops and steaks. The dining area is divided into the main bar counter room, marked by its energetic environment, with the adjacent spacious dining hall.

This place is usually pretty good in terms of atmosphere and food. The last couple times I was there for dinner it was maybe a little less lively than I like, but of course that's just due to how many people are there. The staff is good, and food yummy. Definitely a place to try out if you've never been.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, our waiter could have been more attentive. It was a very nice dining experience that could have been and should have been outstanding.

Found this place on a whim and tried it with another couple last weekend. Everything was delicious and we'll surely return. Can't wait to try more items on the menu. Drinks were good too. Prices reasonable.

Hors d’oeuvres, even though my party had 2 we were constantly getting the exact same one, empty water glasses during the entire party. Lack of communication between the staff members. The place itself is awesome.

I sometimes love this place, other times not so much. There is just no consistency to the food or service. Sometimes everything is great, sometimes not. I will find a great dish but the next time I order it, it's not made the same. The bartender tends to ignore me until my husband joins me at the bar, then he becomes all attentive. They do sort of have an old boys club feel and if you are not part of the club, don't expect the best attention. If you like seafood, you should try them and hope you get them on a good day.

I had a wonderful experience planning a proposal for my girlfriend at this location it was cute, romantic, and exactly what I hoped for. Rob and Julian were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout the process. Unfortunately, there was a significant issue on the day of the event. After everything had been arranged with the event coordinator, Kathy, the manager’s assistant, called and threatened to cancel my reservation if more people arrived, which was very upsetting and unprofessional. Thankfully, Julian stepped in and resolved the situation, saving the day. Despite the last-minute scare, the overall experience was positive thanks to Julian's support.

The mashed potatoes were good. Went on a Thursday night kinda busy, a little slow service. We ordered appetizers server dropped them on the table and left, No extra plates to share, No spoon or tongs to pick up the calamari or seafood salad. The scallops, that were recommended by the waiter over the salmon were not great and drizzled with balsamic glaze yuck!!! How about some eel sauce maybe. My sons linguini and clams hadn't flavor no spice, it was like they opened a can of clam juice swished it with pasta water NOT GOOD. We looked at the dessert tray and nothing looked appetizing. But the mashed potatoes were good. $180. Down the drain

We ate on the terrace it was a beautiful evening. The atmosphere and the back ground music was nice. Drinks, wine, oyster casino & calamari were enjoyed. There were four of us, the crab cakes & fish were good. Beware when ordering the pasta & crabmeat, it is soft shell crab so you have to work for it. I had the Alaskan crab legs and was very disappointed, already cracked and loaded with old bay, was very dry. I should have given back ($65) but didn’t want a fuss, expensive green bean & potato dinner. Desserts and coffee were nice. Service was okay left 18% $373 for 4

Food was not good. Service was terrible. Using untrained young kids for banquet servers is not good. I asked for something and server told me "I have other tables to serve". We never got coffee while other tables were receiving it. We had to ask for it. Have been there 2x now, and both times have been a bust.

For our 1 year wedding anniversary we went to the BAPS and grounds for sculpture and decided to end our day somewhere special that would end off the perfect day. Because it’s a resturant combined with a wedding hall that offered both seafood and steak options with rave reviews it was the first reliable choice we decided upon. My husband had a reservation stating everything pertaining to our special day. We went to the hosts stand and after asking for our name asked why are we here tonight.. after telling him he assured us that we’d be taken care of. After being seating the hostess asked the same question. Why are we here tonight? After telling her it was our one year wedding anniversary it was if she wasn’t even phased and went through the specials and asked for our order. Drinks were stiff but enjoyable. Staff refilled our bread but couldn’t be bothered to refill our water. Ordered Oysters to start, the cocktail sauce tasted like marinara. Porter house special was tough but the seafood pasta fra Diablo was good. After 1.5 hour dining and not a single congratulations we decided to get the check as soon as we could and go about our way. A standard dining out experience but not at all what we were expecting for a celebratory occasion. I swear it’s as if a veil lifted because of how dark and dreary it was inside vs the beautiful summer sky once we left. Thanks for the dinner but safe to say we won’t be returning and don’t recommend especially if you want to celebrate a milestone.

We used to enjoy going here. I treated my husband for his birthday and it was very disappointing. The salmon tasted bland as though it was frozen. The cold water lobster tails were actually warm water tails. The shells were spotted rather than solid red. The meat wasn't sweet like the cold water tail. This is our last time. We won't be back. $90 for food and $90 for six drinks. Disappointing birthday gift.

I do not write reviews often but it seems like I have been but only because it was either great or horrible. Can't remember the exact date but I'm going to say we dined there April 2024 and we were both unimpressed with the meal! The Fish & Chips were burnt on the outside and slimy on the inside. The Chicken Parm was small portioned and the sauce was not Italian at all and needed much more flavor. It could have been an off night as we heard nothing but great reviews but we will not dine there again. We were very disappointed and for the price of the meal not worth it. Also we reserved a table thru their reservation system online and they did not have it and we had to wait for a table. Great bar atmosphere if you like dark and intimate.
