I stopped going to Chipotle in Fresno for more than 10 years because I got food poisoning. We moved to Hanford last year. We have been to the Hanford Chipotle twice in the past 2 months. It has been a good experience and I have not been ill after eating their food. The service has been good on both occasions. We will return. If you have read my other reviews, you know I don't give compliments that have not been earned. Keep it up Hanford Chipotle.
I always like going into Chipotle because the staff is always so respectful and nice! So I decided to write a review today to show how appreciative I am of the consistent hospitality! I was greeted by Amber who gave me a smile and eye contact. And then a man (who's name I did not catch) in a collared shirt did the same as he finished my order. And lastly I was greeted by the cashier Aliyah (I think that's how you spell her name) talked to me in a kind and welcoming voice. I love coming here!
I go here every time I visit, about 4 times a year, and it is always great. The food is good, the portions are good, the service is great. The chips were amazing. My go to is 3 tacos and I mix up the meats, 2 pollo asada, and 1 carnitas tends to be my go to.

Every time I visit, the food is cooked to perfection – the ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, and everything from the rice to the proteins is consistently well-prepared. Beyond the amazing food, the restaurant itself is impeccably clean and has a welcoming atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to dine in. The staff are another highlight; they are consistently polite, efficient, and clearly work hard to keep things moving smoothly. Good service, bathrooms were dirty but the rest of the restaurant was very clean

I like coming here for lunch. It gets very busy so be prepared. I always get the the salad with chicken or steak. They have outside seating which is nice when the weather is nice.

Price is too high for the portions.
The two chicken bowls we bought 10 minutes apart were vastly different from each other. One was ordered on the mobile app, the other in store. In the online ordered bowl, there was a lot of rice, filling more than half of the bowl. There were few beans, 4 pieces of chicken, and lots of lettuce. The scoop of guacamole was not even a tablespoon full. The in store bowl was made and barely hit the halfway mark of the bowl. Beans and lettuce were not available. Again, only 4 pieces of chicken. The finished bowl was nowhere near worth the $14 paid for it. I'm not sure I'll return to this location. You do not get enough protein to make the meal worth the price.

I asked the guy for just a little bit of extra rice and I get charged for everything but their portions are very very poorly given for the price it is and they didn't have the steak they don't have nothing you want when you go in there and the guy was just rude and he just threw it into the bowl like it was some slop any food kitchen LOL but I'll definitely never go back again
I'm here a few times a week. Today, the gentleman who helped me shorted my bowl. The bowl wasn't even halfway complete. He made a point to tell the other worker, “ 2spoon full “ for the extra guac, but that wasn't even one full spoon worth. They were slow because they had no cold drinks today, so maybe he was too busy in his conversation to care.
I went in and bought a $11 barbacoa burrito. So disappointed. Usually the burrito is full with plenty of meat. This time very little meat and burrito was half size ... I got ripped off!! So unhappy! Makes me think twice about going there again. The employees were polite, so 2 stars instead of 1.
Let me start off by saying, we LOVE Chipotle. However.... they really need to start paying attention to orders placed online (for pick-up/DoorDash). Every single time, and I mean, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. our order is either A) Another customers B) Missing or C) Missing 75% of the ingredients listed on the order - and sticker on the lid of the bowls! Today my son got another customers order, which in turn led to us ordering another bowl/paying fees again, etc. Our second bowl had a lot of toppings that were not included (sour cream, black beans, guacamole-which is over $3, fajita vegetables, and all salsas). This bowl is usually overflowing and the lid doesn't close well - and this bowl was looking sad. The scoop of white rice was stuck together, mushy, and no more than 1/4 of a cup worth. I hate to say it, but this establishment has probably lost another family because of the lack of quality customer service by the workers. People are crying for $15/hour for these jobs - yet customers are supposed to accept terrible service and incorrect food without saying a word? No thank you.
We walked in at 10:10 almost an hour before closing, they close at 11. Chairs were up on tables already, the staff was rude, like how dare we come in at that hour. They didn't have chips, or cilantro, they ran out of salad dressing. We were planning on eating there, but our food was packed up 'to go' automatically. There was no where to sit anyways because the chair were already up on the tables. They basically pushed us out the door. We chose this place because it was open late and we wanted to celebrate the awesome job my nephew did in his school play. The play was over at 10pm so we figured this place would be perfect. Yeah, wrong!
Unfortunate that I must write a review of a good franchise that lacked in so many areas. 9:12p.m. we arrived... waited in the slow line and when we approached the counter and was asked our order we were told there was no more cauliflower rice, nor anymore chicken but there could be some if we wanted to wait about 12 minutes or so and we said yes, we're patient. The 7 people behind us also chose to wait. As we waited I noticed about 10 minutes had gone by and didn't see anyone making the rice. I asked the cook if it was being prepared and he looked in the pan on the counter and said "there isn't anymore, that's all there is for tonight" which I replied "when we placed our order, that was the first thing asked and we both said "cauliflower rice and chicken." The cook sounded frustrated and walked to the back and complained about it to the young man who took our order. I was just hoping that we'd get the type of rice we originally ordered when we were told it and the chicken would be about 12 minutes, so now that it has been 10 and now 11... we were told it would be another 10 minutes for the rice. Sure, we waited that long already. 2 people got upset and left. Many pans were near empty. 2 gals chatting could have restocked but seemed to not care. Getting the old dried out stuff from the bottom of the pans isn't what we wanted to spend our money on or the lack of professionalism in good customer service. Portion control at this location depends on who your server is and if they know you or not. While others got full bowls, ours were made as if we said we'd like very little as if we are on a diet, or want to eat like birds. We waited nearly 50 minutes for our order... no apology, nothing. If a business serves food until 10p.m. then they should continue replenishing everything until at least 9:45, not 9... more people came in at 9:45 while we were still waiting. Management team take notice... :-( 😲🙁

Somehow the staffs on this store are always rushing loading up the dishes on the bowl or plates. As if the line is super long. Like today, there are 3 people in line and still rushing as if they are closing up the store. When they load the dishes you pick, they just slap on the plate or bowl. Its like you're in line for food in a prison. When they rush, they make mistakes like they did today. I asked for the mixed vegies and its missing. It happens to me a couple times already. The food is pretty good no issue on that. This particular store, all their staff or employees need to be retrain well by the owner or the corporate. Slow down and take the time and spread the dishes well, to avoid mistakes..I hope that the management will read this review. Thanks

My son and I went in and ordered burrito bowls. So disappointed this time. Usually, the bowl is nice and full, makes you feel like you got what you pail for. This time, I got ripped off!! So unhappy! Makes me think twice about going there again. The employees were polite though.
Everytime I eat here I get disappointed. Just ordered thru the mobile app, asked for no rice on my burrito and it seems like a got an extra portion of rice on my burrito. Brisket is cold. Don't think I'll visit this chipotle anymore
I went inside after a long day at work to get my husband and I some dinner. I asked for two burrito bowls. I asked for double everything on the first bowl and the girl rolled her eyes and barely put anything in the bowl. It definitely wasn’t a double serving that I had asked for. She started to close the lid and I asked her if that was double everything like I asked her to do at the beginning and she rolled her eyes and plopped a ridiculous amount of queso into my husband’s bowl. It was like soup she put so much and my husband couldn’t eat it. I don’t understand why asking for double was a problem. She acted like she was paying for the double amount out of her own paycheck. Extremely rude. I’m a regular customer there and spend a lot of money and they always seem to be very rude. Not sure what’s going on but I work in fast food as well and we would never treat our customers this way. It’s appalling.

I’ve given this location a few tries because they used to be good. They’re pretty awful now. The quality of food, the cleanliness of the restaurant, customer service, attitude of employees. They’ve all gone down hill within the past half year. Myself and my friends agree, this place is trash now. I’ve gotten orders wrong, chicken under cooked. It’s a shame, it used to be amazing and now I’m glad to say I tell everyone I know that it’s not as good as it once was. Avoid if at all possible. Shut the whole place down, there are better alternatives elsewhere.
If there was a rating less then one that's what I would give it, was going to eat there for the first time but I walked in and went up to the counter one of the three goof offs that was behind the counter didn't even acknowledge I was there and turned around and walked towards the other two they just kept goofing around with each other I stood there feeling like an idiot for a good two minutes, not even a we'll be right with you, nothing! So I left, someone needs to show the kids there the proper way to wait on a customer, I'll never go back there are plenty of other places to eat.

Ordered my food at 8:45pm to pick up at 9pm. I checked it and I was missing my side of guacamole, so I went back in to ask for it, and the employee looks at another employee annoyed says, “Oh. Were out of that for the night.” and walks away. No apology, no explanation, nothing. So i paid an extra $2.45 for literally nothing, which I understand, accidents happen all the time. Its not about the fact that they forgot an item, it was the fact that they had an extreme lack of customer service. Don’t have an item on your menu if you are going to stop serving it before closing. On top of that, the beans were cold and the rice was super under-cooked. The 1-star, (if even that) will be for the chicken quesadilla, the only thing that wasnt awful. Upset I even spent my money here.
They decided to charge me a full amount for a quesadilla and decided 2 plain warmed up tortillas was good enough. Spoke to the employees and they didn’t want to do anything about it, if I wanted warmed up tortillas with nothing inside I would’ve made them at home.
Nothing wrong with Chipotle itself but a couple young ladies refused to put lettuce on my bowl after putting the aluminum lid on it. They didn't ask but just coverd it up. I asked them to put lettuce on it. They said they could not take the lid off. They would give me lettuce on the side in a plastic cup. One of them said they couldn't take the lid off because she sliced her finger on it. REALLY??? If it's dangerous to take off an aluminum lid of a burrito bowl then why would you give it to the public? I didn't ask for the lid in the first place because I didn't plan on taking it to go. They sure didn't like that I questioned them on that.
I decided to order online to save time and for the safety of others (COVID). It said it would be ready at 7:30. Great! I waited at this location for 40 mins. No one updated me on if there were any delays or reason why our food was not ready. I was the first one in there and the last one to get served. You’re better off going in.
The worst Chipotle ever, really bad and unprofessional management, needs to train your management team better, my second horrible experience with their bad bad management, just walked out on them

My family and I, visiting from out of town, recently stopped by the Chipotle in Hanford. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. Upon entering, we were greeted by an African-American young lady with long braids who appeared very serious and seemed angry. Her demeanor was off-putting from the start. As I began ordering bowls for my family, it became clear that this young lady was rushing through each order. She did not allow me to choose the specific ingredients I wanted for each bowl, making me feel hurried and uncomfortable. It felt as if my presence and order were an inconvenience to her. Despite spending nearly $60 on food and being prepared to spend more, the rushed and unfriendly service significantly marred our experience. At one point, a young man named Jose stepped in to assist, but the overall customer service, particularly from the young lady, was extremely poor. It is evident that this young lady could benefit from retraining in customer service. Such behavior is not acceptable and does not align with the quality of service we expect from Chipotle.

It’s not a right for anyone but the cashier specified “we stop giving discounts to correctional officers, only sheriffs and PD.” I just don’t get the reason why ? Update: 10/27/2024 No response from the owner. The only question I had was “is it true you stopped giving discounts to CO’s? If so, why ?”

Went in at 9pm and they close at 11. Chairs were all up and staff seems really inconvenienced by you. Meat was cold but sat down at one of the available tables and ate. Had to use the bathroom and had to ask 3 employees who all told me different reasons why I couldn’t go. One said she lost the key, the other said it was being cleaned and I could go soon and then finally the manager told me that it was closed for the night because it takes over an hour for the floors to dry. Overall the staff seems to really dislike being there and they show it with how they treat the customers. Food service can be difficult but at least show basic politeness when customers show it to you.

The last three times I have gone in, I have been let down by something. First, it was missing Queso from my order. The next time I came in, i DID get queso..that was old, discolored, and bad tasting. It quickly went into the trash. The third time I came in, we decided to eat at the restaurant to avoid any of the prior issues. Only this time, the staff was impatient and pushy. Not offering any choices or even informing us that fresh food was on the way. We didn't have a choice between white or brown rice or beans. They just served what there was. Also, there was no lettuce, and I wasn't given the option to wait for it to be refilled either. Also, the restrooms were closed for "cleaning," and they remained closed the entire 1.5 hours I was there. I peaked in around 10 p.m., and the restroom was still closed for cleaning. I had dinner there around 8 pm. This was Saturday the 20th of July.
I came into the store trying to order a bowl off of my phone while i was ordering the ladys were rude and rushing me rolling their eyes at me because i asked them to wait. after they made it wrong i told him and they all started laughing at me and rolled their eyes.
I get that this is a fast causal service however this Chipolte was VERY rushed and almost all the employees in the cook line had an attitude. I don't think I'll be back due to being rushed and employees with bad attitude

Customer service here is horrible, rushed and employees seem as if they’re forced to be here. Especially 2 girls at the front had the worst attitude, honestly ruined my meal. And it’s my second time at a chipotle, Visalia had by far better customer service, should get some service tips from them.
We ordered the family build your own taco meal to go, I ordered 4 large shells in addition to regular shells and a large queso. We didn't receive the regular size shells or the queso.
I’ve been a huge fan of Chipotle for over 10 years, and this is by far one of the WORST locations I’ve been to. The amount of food you get when ordering is laughable. It’s like the staff is trained to give half scoops of everything. Good luck getting any protein because apparently this store is on war rations when it comes to chicken/steak/etc. I’ve basically received a half scoop of protein every time I’ve gone here. As an added bonus this store has consistently higher prices than its other locations. So you get less food for more $$$. Which is really cool.

The employees act like the food is being deducted from their paychecks with how greedy and stingy they are with portions. After a few times of giving this location a try (after I was warned by several people how awful employees are), I finally decided to speak up about the double protein portion I received tonight. One was for chicken which was a good portion but the second of barbacoa was not. Mind you, I have typically always asked for double at other locations and for the same meats so I know what the portions should look like. I asked the employee by the name of something like Yaziri if that's the correct scoop amount and she looked at me as if my question was foreign and crazy to her. She finally said if she adds more, she'll charge me for a full third scoop. I said no problem no worries I'll simply write my review and report to corporate. I've worked in customer service for over 10 years and the fact that she couldn't simply add a little bit more to complete my portion that I was paying for, is absolutely insane. Either they can get it right the first time or don't work at all. My husband's plate was even worse with the portions. This is now about the 5th time coming here with their small portions and I'm so over this chipotle location and its employees. Besides asking for the employee's name, in which she responded aggressively of course, and paying and not causing any other issue, the four females working the front said "have a good day" extremely sarcastically as we walked out. Very professional ladies! Great job!
Extremely disappointed with our experience at Chipotle. My husband found a hair in his bowl — which is completely unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. What made the situation worse was the staff’s response. Instead of apologizing and immediately remaking the bowl, he was told to get back in line to have it replaced. Asking a customer to wait again after serving contaminated food shows a serious lack of accountability and basic customer service. This experience was frustrating and unacceptable. We expected far better standards and professionalism.
I ordered food through grubhub and the wrong order was placed in my bag. When i called the store the girl on the phone made it seem like the grubhub driver grabbed the wrong order. I corrected her and told her my name was on the outside of the bag but the wrong order was placed inside. She told me I needed to call customer service and that was all she could help me with. I asked to speak with the manager and she insisted she was the manager. I asked for her name and she said that it is policy that they can not give names. Their customer service is terrible and their "policy" is laughable. Will not be ordering from a place that has no accountability and does not try to correct their wrongs.
went in for a burrito. i live on base. drove 20 mins to get here. I asked for all the sides to be put in a container so the burrito wouldn't get soggy by the time i got home. the lady refused to and said shed have to charge me separately for the tortilla, even though i want a burrito.. . then said she couldn't understand what I meant. I dont want a soggy burrito after a 20 minute drive and just wanted the contents of the burrito on the side. repeated this 3x and she just kept laughing so I walked out.

She did not allow me to choose the specific ingredients I wanted for each bowl, making me feel hurried and uncomfortable. It felt as if my presence and order were an inconvenience to her. Despite spending nearly $60 on food and being prepared to spend more, the rushed and unfriendly service significantly marred our experience. At one point, a young man named Jose stepped in to assist, but the overall customer service, particularly from the young lady, was extremely poor. It is evident that this young lady could benefit from retraining in customer service. Such behavior is not acceptable and does not align with the quality of service we expect from Chipotle.
Went in at 9pm and they close at 11. Chairs were all up and staff seems really inconvenienced by you. Meat was cold but sat down at one of the available tables and ate. Had to use the bathroom and had to ask 3 employees who all told me different reasons why I couldn’t go. One said she lost the key, the other said it was being cleaned and I could go soon and then finally the manager told me that it was closed for the night because it takes over an hour for the floors to dry. Overall the staff seems to really dislike being there and they show it with how they treat the customers. Food service can be difficult but at least show basic politeness when customers show it to you.
