Way better than you remember it if you grew up in harrison, kearny and east newark they took new England approach to the pie better than most if not all the pizzeria s in the area it's my family's new spot they deserve a try if you like your pizza crisp the ginas special square really good it will feed 5 grown adults drunken grandma really good also you can tell they put the work in.

The slices of pizza are enormous. They taste wonderful - the bread is nice and fluffy, and the sauce and cheese are of high quality as well. Prices are as excellent as you can find in the area. They deliver, and their service instore is top notch.

This place has excellent customer service, the staff is friendly, and even if they're busy, you get your order quickly. Clean establishment, fresh and delicious food, and the Italian ice cream is to die for! The decor and paintings are also very beautiful. They often play sports games on the television for all those sports buffs out there,lol.

Gina's Pizzeria is must visit spot if your ever in the area! Since I've started going, I haven't found a pizza place that can beat the quality and price. They have a huge selection to choose from and the 28'' pie doesn't disappoint.

Let me start off with saying the pizza at this restaurant was phenomenal… real Italian pizza we order a 28”inch and omggggg the slices were huge like New York pizza my kids really enjoyed that not to mention the customer service was amazing I didn’t ask the young lady’s name but I asked her questions about the establishment and she answered with confidence and pride that my family would enjoy this pizza… my husband started we have finally found a new real pizzeria and this is our new place.. we thank you very kindly for your service 😋

Gina's pizza is on the smallish size for a pizza shop but they have big hearts, big flavor and super big pizza slices. They make nearly any type of Italian dish or type of pizza. They also have vegan and gluten free options. This picture is an example of thier New York style pizza. Their service is excellent. I was with a party of 8 on multiple occasions and it was problem free. Look at the picture of their slices...Huge!

It's an awesome pizza place and a Harrison staple ive been coming here for lunch in middle school 27ish years ago. I got the stromboli and the thing was massive but the pizza is a must for new people get a slice they're also huge and delicious.

I grew up in Kearny next to Harrison. Moving to Florida, while up here I went to Gina’s craving an anti-pasta salad. It was by far one of the BEST I’ve ever had. The small is more than enough for 1. So much meat and all the veggies just enough dressing. My nephew got the Sicilian slice. He highly recommends all there food. He’s the one that introduced me to them.

My CPA’s office recently ordered delivery from Gina’s Pizza & Restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The food arrived hot, fresh, and perfectly packaged. The pizza had a crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. The chicken francese was just the best!! Everything tasted homemade and full of flavor. The order was accurate and delivered right on time, which made the whole experience even better. It’s great to find a place that consistently delivers quality food and dependable service. So it’s my 1st time ordering from them, I must say great customer service over the phone, the price is definitely reasonable…. My kids are very picky eaters and they loved it…. They actually gave it a 👍👍 I’ll definitely be ordering more from them and trying different menu options as well… thanks to the driver as well, he was very friendly and we got it in about 30 minutes was warm and delicious…… For a medium pie it was definitely bigger than expected….

I always get the Nutella calzone from here, it’s literally my favorite thing on the menu. It’s so good every single time. The crust is soft but still has that little crunch, and the Nutella inside is warm, melty, and perfect. I swear it never misses. It’s one of those desserts you start craving randomly because it’s super good. The people here are super chill and always welcome you in with a smile. I’d say it’s a nice work environment too, they are always laughing together. The food always comes out yummy. The place itself is a super cute little slice of Italy. I’ve been going here for years and it’s everyone I knows go to for pizza. It’s clean, cozy, and just has a really comfortable vibe. I think it’s a tradition in the town at this point. Everyone has gone here at least once. I’ve tried other desserts at different spots, but nothing beats this one. It’s simple but so good every time. If you like chocolate or anything sweet, you have to try the Nutella calzone. I get it every time I come and it always hits. Definitely a 10/10 and 100% recommend!

Seriously the best pizza spot around, with the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet! The place has such a warm, welcoming vibe and is always spotless. The food is absolutely incredible and packed with flavor — plus they offer amazing deals! I’m always coming here and bringing friends to try it out. I’m from the BX and I struggle to find good pizza in Jersey. I took a chance while on my lunch break ( I work at Mattress Firm Kearny Plaza come see me for a mattress ) I found Gina’s on Google and went over there. Great old school feel to the place and the Pizza is GOOD!!! Big slices, thicker crust ( I hate thin crust ) great sauce!! The guy behind the counter was really cool too. I’ll be back!!

First time with original oven baked pizza with huge size ( pepperoni + cheese) that can make you full in 1 slice. Variety of menus, not only pizza but side dish especially jalapeño is the best. Fried , salad , pizza and pizza puff. Friendly staffs. Cozy and spacious. Definitely visit again

I literally grew up across the street from this amazing pizza. If we had pizza at home it was me running across the street to pick it up. In high school when we got out for lunch, back in the day shout out to class of '07, we ate here four days a week. I moved away after graduation but my dad, unlce, and friends still lived here so every time I came to visit I made sure to take a pie with me back home. Over 20 yrs of eating pizza here and it's still the same amazing pizza. Staff has always been great. It's always awesome talking to the owner and catching up and also getting that nostalgic feeling like I'm back in high school. It's not just my favorite because you see I like to share, so it's not just nostalgia and the pizza I grew up on. Everytime I bring a pie home I'm sharing it with family, friends, and co-workers, they all agree that it's an amazing pizza. If your anywhere near Harrison then you need to stop by here and try it for yourself. By the way the pie in my pictures was shared between 7 of us, the slices of the extra large pie are no joke.

I ordered the pizza through Slice app and I must say it is undoubtedly one of the best vegetarian pizza I have ever had in the NY-NJ area. The service was quick and delivery guy is humble. Definitely one of the best pizza to treat your vegetarian taste buds. Available in normal, crispy, & thin crust. I ordered crispy crust though.

Was there one night past 10pm after work and was pleased they were open. Pizza was very good, as were the fried ravioli. They were friendly and ready in 20 minutes. I did take notice that they had a personal size gluten free and a low calorie cauliflower/gluten free crust...very impressed with this option.

Edit' Idk what happened here. I used to love this place but the last 3 pizzas I got here were pretty mediocre. First pizza I got here was fantastic, the second pizza I got here was a little undercooked so I told them and they replaced it quickly and the replacement pizza was great. I have been going here for a long time, but as of recently, my pie keeps coming burnt and I keep asking for it to not be and it still comes half burn or fully burnt which is a bummer so now I’m seeking to find a new spot. I tried to let it go but it was 3 different times in a row

Ordered about 200 dollars with of food and was upset with some of the pizzas we had. The buffalo chicken was dry and did not taste fresh. Ordered half pepperoni and half cheese well done and it was not. The X-Large pizza cheese had a little bit of a weird smell and left an after taste in your mouth. First time ordering and will be the last.

I ordered a specialty pizza with the sauce on the side and it came with the sauce on the pizza. I am allergic to the sauce. The only thing they did to reimburse me is give me a small personal pie when the original was a medium. This all cost me 25 dollars

Dry pizza. Not enough cheese. Sauce is nondescript. The definition of mid. Pizza is supposed to be a treat. This was more of a trick. Take pride in what you serve to people. Make the food with love and use good ingredients. All pizzerias should be AT LEAST a 7.5. This is like a 5-6. Note: The pizza DOES have potential IF they do a little of this and that.

Gina's Pizzeria used to be my favorite pizzeria. Going there was always a treat because their pizza was so delicious. The friends and family I'd bring with me were always in awe of the size of the slices. However, I'm not sure if they are using a different recipe, but the pizza does not taste good at all. I tried a slice of Buffalo chicken pizza, and it wasn't good. I decided to give them another shot and tried their cheese pizza yesterday. I bought a slice for me and for a friend. I was so disappointed. It was dried out and tasted terrible. My friend agreed. Despite the friendliness of the staff, I can't recommend this pizzeria anymore.

I hope whoever made it is enjoying their first day on Planet Earth, and will eventually learn a little bit about the food they’re being paid to prepare. Thin crust pizza was ehh; very dense on the bottom, not enough sauce. They got the soda right! I’ll donate $30 to the less fortunate before I spend it here again.

Used to come here when I was a teenager and decided to treat my wife and kids after hyping them up for it. It’s not the same anymore... The large slice they are known for is still decent, but the other stuff was just not good and expensive. Ordered a meat lovers pie and the meats had a weird plastic type of smell to it(hard to explain). The tomato sauce tasted like it was sitting past due and the cheese had a shiny white color to it. Decided not to judge a book by its cover, and took a bite and it did not taste good. Wife wasn’t happy either. Thankfully the cheese slice held us off, but I would not recommend the meat lovers pie. Almost had the look of the pie display they gave us. It wasn’t even warm. It tasted cold and stale. Front staff also was all over the place and not very attentive when customers were waiting. Was told an amount to pay. After paying the girl was looking at the computer with her back facing me and I stood there to see if there was anything left. Completely ignored. Just grabbed my food and walked out. Just overall weird environment. Never again. Gina’s you used to be good.

Hands down the best pizza in town. Large delicious pies at a great price. You can tell they put allot of passion into each pie. Perfect authentic. Edit: 7 years later, the place has gone downhill. Slices are barely cooked through or overcooked. I go to Ninos now, authentic Italian slices, the best in town.

I have no idea how the food is in this restaurant. That being said, an elderly relative of mine keeps ordering food. 3 dinners a night. I have repeatedly asked them not to take multiple orders (she doesn’t remember) but they continue to take them. They have assured me several times that they would not. It’s such a shame.

I heard about this place from tiktok , and I decided to give it try ! I walked in and ordered a Jamaican patty and a 2 cheese slices . Long story short the guy on the register dropped my patty on the floor and still put it in the oven .. once he gave me a total I told him I don’t want the patty no more , then they looked at me confused as in why I didn’t want it.. Pizza was a 4.5/10 not coming back !

We placed a large order tonight and it was awful. A lot of the pizza was too burned to eat. The garlic knots were black firm being over cooked. It was so disappointing. Even the antipasti salad tasted “off”. We won’t be ordering from Gina’s anymore. It’s a real shame because the food used to be really good.

If culinary disasters were an art form, Gina’s lasagna would be a masterpiece. From the first bite, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience — and not in a good way. The noodles were more like soggy wallpaper, the sauce tasted like it came from a can labeled “Regret,” and the cheese? Let’s just say it had the texture of melted rubber bands. But the true villain of this dish was the meat. I’m not entirely sure what creature it came from, but it had the flavor of sadness and the consistency of week-old mystery meat. Every bite was a gamble — dry, chewy, and eerily reminiscent of something that had given up on life long before it reached my plate. Somehow, the flavors managed to be both bland and offensive, as if the ingredients were in a heated argument and no one won. The only thing layered more than the pasta sheets was my disappointment. And the portion size? Generous, but only in the sense that Gina truly believed no one would dare ask for seconds. To be fair, I did learn one thing from this lasagna — I now understand what culinary rock bottom looks like. If you’re in the mood for a memorable meal, I’d suggest Gina’s lasagna. You’ll remember it forever, even if you try not to. 1/5 Stars — One star for effort. The rest went missing, probably alongside the flavor

I went with my wife just for a night out and had dinner. She ordered chicken nuggets & fries and I ordered two slices of pizza. She received her food first and I was still waiting. I finally go up to the counter and ask about my two slices. The guy who took my order never put my slices in the oven to warm up. When I received my slices finally it was in between warm & cold. They don't pay attention to anybody who is waiting for their food. My wife and I have decided not to go back there or even order from there anymore. They lost two good customers bc of the nonsense they do. This isn't the first time it happened either.

Gina's is our to go place for pizza EXCEPT for today. Pizza tonight was a TOTAL disappointment. It seems as if we ordered just DOUGH slapped with tomato sauce!!! This is NOT pizza. Tried the Gina’s special pizza, which was not at all special,it hardly had any cheese,the seasoning was missing, and the pizza was so soggy, couldn’t even finish a slice, and not to forget, theirs a lot of flies in the dining area, which made it impossible to eat.

I don't know what happened to this thing. The delivery driver must of used the pizza box as a butt warmer driving it over. If it was just a mutilated pizza that would be one thing but it also had very little cheese and was cold coming out the box.

From a scale of 1 - 10, my order was a 3.2. I had to wait an hour before my food arrived and when it did the pizza was soggy (see photo) in the middle. It was so bad that the bottom of the box fell apart (see photo). The food was only ok at best. However, the people that works there are pleasant to talk to.
