I had the Banana Matcha and my boyfriend had the Ube Matcha. The banana foam is a 10/10! I didn’t have to make line and just placed my order on their self-order kiosks, makes things so much faster and convenient. Plenty of parking, right off the 405 fwy.
The Baseline: For bubble tea cafes the drinks must have the proper temperature for the drink, suitably firm tapioca pearls, and the drink must be quality. Food: The Signature Milk Tea with boba and pudding was awesome tonight! Service: The staff at Ding Tea are awesome and friendly. Ambience: Quick in and out.
This is my absolute favorite boba tea place in the whole world, and I’ve been to a lot of them. I love being able to specify how much sweetness and ice, and the selection is second to none. Another favorite is the super deluxe taro with the burnt sugar crusted cream on top. Rookie mistake is not to shake it, esp with the ones that are multilayered. Incredibly delicious snack, and it makes our efforts at the neighboring Costco so much better to know this is where we will chill out afterwards. The only thing that might make it better is having more of a nice place to sit when lines are long. Love it and will keep coming back no matter how popular it gets. We got our free drink today as part of their app promo thing, and they were kind enough to mention that we could upgrade the free drink size.
I've been to many Ding teas, the one in Torrance (Now they're out of the franchise), Lomita, Carson, Irvine, and this one, Hawthorne. But every time I've been to the ding tea at Hawthorne their boba is always consistent, coated in a thin layer of honey and sugar, a firm chew that doesn't fall apart in your mouth. In the past (2023) Lomita also had the same consistency but recently I haven't had the same experience. It was raining on this day and I ran down El Segundo for this boba. There were many newly released Ube drinks but I setteled with the Ube Milk, being presented like a sunset in a dream, it had a beautiful purple, the drink was milky, nutty, and a little vanilla, paired with ding tea's golden boba, I had an enjoyable time. Whenever I want Ding Tea's best boba, I will come to this location in Hawthorne!
Their Brown Sugar Milk Tea is my favorite, simply the best from all places I’ve tried! This franchise specifically makes the best one, I’ve tried others before and it’s not the same! Frankie is the best! Best costumer service ever ❤️
Issac and the team at Ding Tea Hawthorne provide the absolute best menu and service to the area. So much so that my family drives 30 minutes out of the way to come here regularly. Make sure to order online to beat the crowd. Ding Tea is one of the best tea houses in all of LA County - period.
Husband and I had a boba craving on our way back to the airport from vacation and this was one of the closest to our rental car drop off...thank goodness it was because the drinks were SO GOOD. Jasmine milk tea was so fragrant and the kumquat one was very tangy and refreshing. Highlight was the pearls, they were so soft and chewy and honestly some of the best we've ever had (and we've drank a loooot of bubble tea in our lifetime). We do not say this lightly about boba but these two drinks were amazing. Would love to visit again in the future!
Fantastic boba. Normally I get the Hokkaido oolong milk tea with boba, and it's always great. The first time I came I had lots of questions and they answered them patiently. The staff is always very friendly. I definitely recommend this place... Best boba in the area!
I showed up an hour before closing (Wednesday-10pm) and it was still pretty busy. Fortunately, it didn't delay my order. Very quick service indeed. I ordered the #5 which is the brown sugar Boba tea and I added cheese cream which is basically like whipped cream. Loved it in the drink since it made it creamier. I'd def come back to check out other drinks.
I absolutely love this place. I always get the vietnamese coffee but from time to time I change it up. I even got my co workers addicted to this place.
I was raised and born in Taiwan. No way they do not use blender and use they own hands to shake the drinks… Oh my this is the real boba I grew up drinking

One time someone took my drink on accident and they made me another one for free. My new favorite drink here is the banana cream matcha latte with boba 💛

I will CRY if this place ever closes because this is my favorite boba of all time!!! Passion fruit Yakult or milk tea are the best!! This place is the only place that does fruit milk tea the best!! The only downside is that the building always has issues, so make sure to follow them on Instagram to make sure they're open!! The staff is always super nice and the wait time isn't that long even when they're swamped with people. Make sure to sign up for the reward points for coupons and a birthday reward of $10!!

On this adventure my son treated me to a cool refreshing drink. This cool trendy spot is tucked away in a small strip mall but the drinks carry a big punch. Come try some exotic beverages and comment your most del-ish or maybe your least favorite... just so I know what to try or not..
Cute little place for Boba Tea. They have the usual menu, but this place has Kumquat Lemon Ice Tea which is one of my favorite 😍😍😍 Same drink on my second visit ❤️❤️❤️ The shop is pretty busy with a steady flow of customers which is great for them, not sure if there are much competition in the area, they seems to be doing well. I would go here again when I am in the area ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's a good bubble tea shop. Probably the best in the immediate area. Service was quick and fast. I also liked that my drink wasn't overly sweetened. Try em out. They have a rewards punch card, be sure to get it stamped. 11th tea is free.

This is one of the best place for Boba in town… But he’s very frustrated that they even have the flavor displayed (avocado smoothie) on the wall, but apparently they discontinue. I recommend to all my friends to go there… But definitely the management should provide whatever they offered
The last 2 taro slush boba weren't even sweet and barely had some taste. It was like water with ice. The first one I tried, was really good.. I guess the guy or whoever makes them changed or something... now I don't even want to come back there.

Their music has cuss words and really loud. With kids coming in with families who support the business it's not inviting or family friendly. The customer service is rude and acts like I'm an inconvenience as a paying customer to be there.

Went to Ding Tea and ordered 2 drinks. One was for me and the other my daughter. I ordered the Large Taro Mash up tea with egg pudding, easy boba, and foam topping. It usually takes me a couple of hours to drink it. I was ready to slurp all the good stuff at the bottom of my drink when I noticed it wasn’t coming the straw. I tore a slit in the top and used my straw to pick up what was at the bottom. To my disgust and disappointment there was a napkin or paper or something to that sort in the drink. It looks moldy old… I am so sick to my stomach. My daughter called the store, and the young lady who answered was not very friendly and you could tell she was never taught what good customer service is. We requested for the manager or owner to return our call immediately. They said they would relay the message. Two or three minutes later a gentleman calls and says that “we will not be able to help you. You were belligerent when you were talking to our staff and you’re causing us emotional distress and we can’t do anything to help you if you wanna come back and buy another drink you can do that”. He said we were making the complaint to the wrong shift and if we wanted help, we should come back at that time. He said he was not going to relay the message and then turned around and said he would relay the message. I don’t trust that he will. So this is why I have to write this review. He was rude and condescending. I asked him several times for him to give me his name and he refused. I told him I just wanted to talk to a manager about the situation. I have had the pleasure of running multi million dollar companies and I am currently a Director of HR. There would be absolutely no way I would allow any of my employees to talk to the customers the way he did tonight. He definitely needs a PIP or write up. I will be contacting my lawyer if I do not hear from the Manager by tomorrow afternoon.

I had the most unfortunate experience this evening and for someone who comes in here as often as I do, this makes it even more difficult. I could NOT believe this woman spoke to me the manner she did as I was trying to clarify a situation of the door being left open by son and her disgustingly disrespectful comments while she is laughing and clapping her fingers while other customers watch. Trying to rush me through my order then attempting to refuse my services as she's disrespecting me. Staring me down as if she is trying to intimidate me. Once I requested the manager's information she redirected me to a board as if I worked there and should have known that's where I can locate the contact info. She refused to give me her name so all I know is that she is currently working right now. The time of events occurred on 1/20/26 @730pm. Her associate that is currently on shift with her, found her disrespect just as amusing. I hope this is not how all of your employees are trained to treat customers.
