Me and my wife booked a holiday to The Three Tuns and it was what we needed and more, as most people do after a long busy year me and my wife thought we would treat are selfs to a holiday and picked The Three Tuns and as we walked through the door we knew we picked the right place, as soon as you walk in your greeted with warm smiles from the staff behind the bar, and a great atmosphere of people eating food and drinking at the bar, the land lady ( Andrea ) showed us up to are rooms and gave us a brief show of where we would call home for the next week. My favourite part was in the mornings when we came down for breakfast it was cooked to perfection by the landlord ( david ) and he’s so lovely we had many great chats about the pub and the surrounding areas. Overall it’s was a great holiday and we would come back in a heartbeat and we definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.
Really lovely pub in the countryside, really kind staff, great atmosphere. A very sweet little pub in a lovely village, lots of walks and great views. Staff were lovely, even the landlord and landlady came and made us feel welcome, had a little conversation and they told us about some of the great walks around the area, me and my buddy Jimmy went for a quick walk to godrevy, beautiful view although a bit windy when we went 😂 Food was great, I had the double beef burger and my friend had the chicken schnitzel, both loved it, didn't have to wait long for our food and the staff came and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice meal with great service.
Excellent food. The trout with garlic prawns were sensational. Friendly and attentive staff and warm and inviting pub. Can't recommend it highly enough
Me and my family decided to go on holiday to the small village of st keverne and stayed a The Three Tuns, and wow did it not disappoint, we stayed for four days we had breakfast every morning and for a free breakfast it was lovely i had the full english and it was as good as i’d imagined, the staff we so welcoming and kind and helped us out with directions when we wanted to travel. We also had food every evening and it was amazing the food was lovely it didn’t take long to come out and had everything that was on the menus, overall me and my family were really pleased with are experience and would 100% recommend.
Had the most lovely stay at The Three Tuns last week. The owners and their wonderful team made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and clearly takes great pride in what they do. The place has such a lovely atmosphere — warm, relaxed. Can’t wait to go back soon! 😊
Popped into The Three Tuns in St Keverne and honestly, what a cracking find. The new owners have only been in about 18 weeks and have done an amazing job. The place feels so welcoming the minute you walk through the door. The atmosphere is spot on, a proper locals’ vibe but still really friendly to visitors too. The menu is brilliant with loads of choice, great portions and you can tell it’s all cooked with care. We went in on a Monday night and it was absolutely buzzing, which says it all really. Everyone behind the bar was lovely and up for a chat, and the whole place just had that happy, relaxed energy you only get in a proper village pub. Can’t wait to go back, easily one of the friendliest pubs we’ve been to in ages.
Had a lovely lunch here today. Very relaxed environment and great friendly service. The food was excellent, fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked and good portions. I have no hesitation in recommending.
We called in for dinner last Tuesday on the spur of the moment for dinner and received a very warm welcome from the landlady. We chose to order from the supper club menu which is very good value and the food was excellent. You can also get £10 off a bottle of wine on this offer which we did. While there the landlady came round to ask everyone if they would like to take part in the club quizz. We weren't going to stay but decided we would. Glad we did because we won and received a prize of a lovely bottle of Prosseco! 🥂 Thanks to all at The Three Tuns for a lovely evening, team 'Legates'
Lovely pub, great breakfast, nice room and brilliant service. It was my birthday treat to stay overnight and was delighted to come down to breakfast and find the table had been decorated with Happy Birthday :-) The breakfast was delicious!
We've just returned from a holiday in Cornwall where we visited the three tuns. It was so nice we returned another twice! Twice we were a party of 9 and despite this the service times were really good and all 9 really enjoyed their meals. They really are better than your average pub grub. Across the 3 visits we tried pretty much everything on the menu between us and can honestly say every meal was delicious. We will definitely return as we always holiday in the same area and we hope people give this pub the support it deserves. Keep up the hard work!!
Such a fantastic place run by amazing people! We’ve recently spent 4 nights at the Three Tuns and it couldn’t have been any better! Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Dave and Andrea, the landlords, are the most perfect hosts you could ever wish for. Nothing was too much trouble and we were welcomed with open arms. The location is great as well, right in the heart of a lovely quiet village, with lots to see and do nearby. Plenty of parking available, and there’s a convenience store literally next door, in case you needed anything. The room was superb - spacious, comfortable and cosy at the same time with tasteful decor and cute finishing touches (the nightcaps! Such a great idea - if you know, you know!). Everything was high-end, from the toiletries to the contents of the refreshments tray, which was replenished daily when the room was serviced. The free breakfast was delicious and plentiful, as were the evening meals served in the pub. We’re proud to say we tried most items on the menu, and not a single one failed to deliver. Good selection of beers on tap, including some great local ones as well. But the best thing about The Three Tuns is the atmosphere. The pub is absolutely delightful, and the log burner and all the Christmas decorations make it even more special at this time of the year. It has a good mix of locals and visitors (four-legged friends are very much welcome as well and there are treats waiting for them), and from the first moment you sit down and take the first sip of your pint, you instantly feel like you belong. We spent some awesome evenings there, taking part in a pub quiz and being treated to some impromptu live entertainment in the form of a local singing group. The whole of our stay was truly special and we are already planning our next stay. This place is absolutely worth a visit. Thank you Dave and Andrea for the chats and laughs, and for taking such a great care of us. We will be back!
I delivered a fridge to this pub recently and was more than impressed by what I saw. I spent many years running pubs in a previous life and I know within seconds of walking in a pub if it's somewhere I want to spend some time. The Three Tuns is up there with the best. Everything about the place is top notch. The next time I visit will be as a customer and I can't wait
We had a fantastic campervan pub stopover at **The Three Tuns, St Keverne** over **Christmas Eve and Christmas Day 2025**. There were four of us travelling in two campervans, and from start to finish the experience was absolutely spot on. From the very first phone call to check availability at fairly short notice, Andrea was incredibly helpful and friendly. She made booking our Christmas dinner completely stress-free by kindly squeezing us in, which we were so grateful for. We enjoyed a lovely home-cooked meal on Christmas Eve, followed by a beautiful Christmas dinner on Christmas Day – both were delicious and exceptional value for money. It was well worth the trip all the way down from Derby. The pub itself is a cosy, welcoming village pub, perfectly situated next to a stunning church, which really added to the charm and atmosphere. Andrea and Dave were genuinely wonderful hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Even though it was out of season, they allowed us to use the showers and toilets in the glamping grounds, which was hugely appreciated. They even let us order breakfast for Boxing Day morning, which again was absolutely lovely. A special mention to Dave as well, who helped us manoeuvre our vans out of the car park – the entrance is quite small, and his help made it completely stress-free. Overall, a warm, friendly, and memorable stopover with amazing food and exceptional hospitality. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would highly recommend The Three Tuns to anyone travelling by campervan. Kathy, Kenry, Andy and Sarah
Had a wonderful stay. The room's deco was beautiful and cozy, and the shower great and over all really clean. Andrea and Dave were super warm and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Showed us the walk to the local beach which was a lovely stroll. The breakfast was of a high standard and the steak was to die for! The locals who visited were a laugh and the rum cocktails were spot on!
The Location is brilliant lovely little village the staff was perfect service with a smile. Dave and andrea was brilliant breakfast/food was really nice. The rooms are clean and the beds are so comfy. Overall really happy we stayed here thanks for having us. I would highly recommend this BnB.
I stayed at the Three Tuns during the Christmas week. I arrived on Christmas Eve and everything was perfect from the second I stepped foot into the building. Food was amazing, by far one of the best meals I’ve ever had. All the staff were really friendly and whenever I had a question they answered it straight away. They have a very good range of drinks aswell, I chose to have the lightbulb and it was an amazing choice, it quenched my thirst and was just perfect. The room, where do I start, the bed was so comfy and the room was well lit and nice and warm. Credit to the members of staff who do amazing jobs, especially Andrea and Dave the landlady and landlord, who have only been there since July but they are doing an amazing job! Just Amazing!!
Wonderful, cosy pub in a lovely little village. The landlords and staff are all extremely lovely, friendly and helpful. Andrea and David hosted us and 50 guests on our wedding day for our meal. Food was cooked to perfection and the service we received from the landlords and staff was even better than we could have ever asked for. Us and our guests were looked after very well. We eat and drink at the Three Tuns regularly and the food is always delicious
Just had a lovely valentines meal staff we so friendly and every course was so good. The menu had many options and was really fairly priced including a cocktail of choice which was a nice extra, as were the little valentines gifts on the table for each couple to take home. Thank you three tuns xx
We had a lovely weekend stay. The landlord and landlady and all staff were very welcoming and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was lovely, bright and clean and the breakfast was lovely too, also accommodating of my need to avoid some allergens. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away
Came to St. Keverne for a little getaway, choosing to stay at the Three Tuns was definitely the right choice! The landlord and lady were amazing, so helpful and kind. Food was always spot on with breakfast and dinner tasting absolutely delicious! We had the sirloin steak, the homemade pizza, steak and ale pie and the double beef burger. All were cooked to perfection! Breakfast there was a good range on the menu , the bacon being delicious and the coconut yogurt with berries and granola was perfect. The room we stayed in was lovely, great size and well looked after. Couldn’t be more happier with our stay! Thank you to Andrea, Dave and all the other helpful staff!
Fabulous food at good prices with smiling, friendly service. Love the fish dishes, the starters like Padron peppers and the olives selection. A wonderful pub with an excellent menu and open for food every day, which is a rarity! We keep coming back because it’s such a gem.
We stayed for two nights at this cute small pub and absolutely loved it. The landlord and landlady -Andrea and David were genuinely lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was amazing fresh, delicious, and definitely a highlight of our visit. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a warm and cosy getaway
The new owners at The Three Tuns have taken what I’ve always thought to be a great pub and turned it up another notch or two. The stand out is the food quality and taste. A menu full of pub classics and more, suitable for all tastes and dietary requirements. I specifically liked the pie menu which changes every day, and my wife hasn’t stopped talking about the burger sauce! The staff were very polite, friendly and professional, who gladly paid some extra attention to our dog who enjoyed some of his own snacks.
The Three Tuns is a proper pub – welcoming, cosy, and full of character. The log fire was burning, the seating was comfy, and it had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We came for Sunday roast and really enjoyed it. The portion size was just right, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. There were three roast options, each served with a delicious Yorkshire pudding. The pudding selection was excellent too, and I loved the option of a hot drink with a smaller dessert portion – a really nice touch. The only slight downside was the cider selection, which wasn’t quite to my taste, but the Pilsner I had instead was very good. Overall, an excellent experience – would absolutely come back again!
We had the most fantastic Christmas Work Party at The Three Tuns. The food was beautifully presented, hot, and came out quickly and the service was just overall brilliant. The evening's entertainment was also superb, with live music playing and taking song requests. I was more so impressed that they managed to deliver this high standard of service with our work party being such a large group (22 of us), allocating us our own area within the pub so not to disturb other diners! I would highly recommend this place for small intimate meals as well as for large party bookings! Very well run place indeed!
Went for Sunday lunch and we both had a lovely meal. The Shin beef soup/stew starter, and the pork roast dinner were excellent. Service was friendly and personal. Definitely recommend
Stayed here at the Three Tuns for a short getaway with my partner. Absolutely loved everything about the pub! From the decorations, to the food and then the room everything was perfect. David and Andrea were so welcoming and helpful! They gave us great recommendations on things to do in the area, nothing was ever too much trouble. The steak and ale pie and the apple crumble were my favourites, absolutely delicious. Thank you all at the three tuns
Absolutely amazing from start to finish! The food was truly divine—every bite was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The service was just as impressive: warm, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We loved it so much that we can’t wait to go back again. Highly recommended!
Another great meal this time for the Valentines menu which was both very tasty and great value! The rose and Valentines duck on the table on arrival were a thoughtful touch. We were well looked after by great staff as always and the lamb has become a firm favourite!
Had a night here with my dog last weekend and it was a real haven. Lovely room, excellent food and breakfast was a real highlight! A fantastic place for exploring the coast and so welcoming for both me on my own, and my little dog. Lots of lovely touches which made it a special stay. Will be back for sure!
An excellent traditional friendly pub. We popped into The Three Tuns at the weekend and had such a friendly welcome from the landlady and landlord Andrea and David along with their staff. The pub is very welcoming and there was a great pair of singers on getting everyone involved, locals and visitors,a brilliant evening, we will be back!
My immediate family of 5, plus 2 partners and whippet, ate here one evening during a stay at a nearby holiday park. We chose the pub because of its location, detailed website and great reviews. It appeared to offer a lot and it didn't disappoint! We were given an extremely friendly welcome, the young staff were friendly, polite and attentive- and the food was lovely, with some unusual options on the menu. Great care was taken with the food of one of our party with an intolerance , and the manager cheerfully allowed us to make several 'adaptations' to our dishes - thank you so much! We will certainly revisit when next in the area.
We had a family gathering of 8. All young at heart! From beginning to end of our overnight stay nothing was to much trouble. Andrea and David and their team are masters in the craft of hosting. Good choice of beers and wines. Food was excellent. Rooms all spotless and very comfortable. The atmosphere in the bar was very enjoyable to. We can recommend the 3 Tuns without hesitation.
My partner and I had a fantastic stay here from start to finish. Our room was incredibly spacious and beautifully presented, giving us plenty of room to relax and unwind. The food was excellent, and the entertainment really added to the overall experience. There’s also so much to see and do nearby — you’re truly spoiled for choice, with plenty of great spots just a short drive away. The hosts were exceptional as well — welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!
Lovely pub with friendly staff. We are their regularly whilst working away near Helston , the food was superb ..literally . The supper club menu offers excellent value too. Shame the landlord was rubbish at darts mind !! Will definitely visit again , and recommend you all do too .
Had a fantastic stay, extremely clean and comfortable. Very friendly couple, Andrea and Dave running the place, all staff were really accommodating. Will definitely be returning soon.
What a lovely welcoming pub! We called for a drink then booked a meal for the following evening, from start to finish very enjoyable. Staff very friendly and polite, food was exceptional. We will definitely be back
We go here a lot as our office is nearby and just enjoyed a wonderful Christmas dinner there. Always wonderful food and friendly service. A fantastic pub!
What an absolutely lovely place, run by lovely people, serving lovely food! Was particularly impressed by the fab vegan options - the mushroom pie is exquisite!
Whether it's a small business trip or for couples or family. This is a lovely place to visit amazing service, friendly staff where the car park at the front and a private one at the back, now it is a small village, so there's not much going on. But if that's your thing, then it's perfect, there is a church. And a shop and a restaurant and another pub. There's also the coast nearby and an icecream and farm shop with a restaurant. As well Plus it's not too far from the nearest town. It's set in a lovely part of Cornwall. Almost at the end, but not the very end of Cornwall, but it's lovely. The food quality is amazing, especially in the evening. And for breakfast, you get the choice of two things plus there is a container of cereal that you can help yourself to as well as orange juice and you get a pot of coffee, which will do a good few cups, There's some condiments in the room tea. And coffee and a few biscuits, the bed that we had in Room 3 was the comfiest I Ve ever stayed in elsewhere, and the duvet was so warm, but not overheating. There is a church, very close that does chime every hour.So if that's not your thing, be aware, but you hardly notice it after a while.Plus I really liked it. Oh, and there's also I think it's brandy and port on the landing that you can help yourself to, and it just gets topped back up. The locals are very friendly. So good.We will definitely go back. Plus they have some massive tents called bell tents or something like that. And they are really beautiful in a field at the back
We stayed here for 1 night recently.. everything was amazing starting with the warm welcome when we arrived.Lovely friendly village pub/hotel with excellent food including the fish and chips we had and a lovely breakfast. Will definitely be coming back
We had a family meal and was great food, and great service we will be back. Thanks so much.
Amazing food.We worked our way through the menu during the week and every evening the meals were delicious. The standard of the meals were excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.10 out 10.
A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! I recently stayed at this lovely inn with my dog and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome from the host, who was incredibly friendly, helpful, and clearly cares about making guests feel at home. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped – perfect for relaxing after a day out. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and delicious options to start the day right. What made the stay even more special was how dog-friendly the inn is. My dog was made to feel just as welcome as I was, with thoughtful little touches like treats and a cozy space to settle in. I would absolutely recommend this inn to anyone – especially those travelling with pets. It’s a place where both people and their furry companions are truly looked after. I’ll definitely be back!
Our Sunday lunch at The Three Tuns was fabulous yesterday! Absolutely delicious food and very welcoming staff! We will certainly retuning soon!
We visited for lunch and were initially impressed with the decor. It is very clean and welcoming but still had the old country pub feel. The food we ordered was incredible, really well presented and tasted great. The person who served us was extremely friendly and went out of her way to help us. We wee made to feel very welcome!
Friendly welcoming hosts, excellent service, great menu with tasty food, good portions and good prices! Lovely village location, will certainly book again if we're in the area.
Came to the area for a short break and stumbled across this place. Booked for a birthday meal and couldn’t have been more impressed. The food was a 10/10 and the service was outstanding. Booked a table with Andrea who catered to our requests perfectly. We were greeted and seated the second we walked in, all staff were lovely & attentive throughout the meal. If you’re in the local area could not recommend this place more highly. Will definitely be returning before we leave !!
The baked camembert was the best I've ever had. Served in a bread basket with hot honey, it was truly fantastic. The calamari was great. The duck salad however was simply incredible and definitely my favourite item on the menu. Really really fantastic food. (Plus we were a larger, louder crowd and they were very accommodating when we turned up without any booking.) The service with a smile made it a very warm and welcoming place. I would recommend it to everyone.
Walking the SW Coast path with our two Dalmatians. We stopped for a night and had a great stay - a lovely big and well decorated room overlooking the square. Dinner and breakfast were both good. Very accommodating of our dogs. They had a lovely Glamping site at the back too. The new Landlord was lovely - super friendly and made sure we were looked after. We would highly recommend!
Proper country pub with great beer & staff. Didn’t eat the food but other customers seemed very pleased with it. Definitely worth going if you’re in this particularly beautiful part of Cornwall.
We had a wonderful, relaxed and delicious family lunch here after a long morning Autumn walk. We felt really well looked after and the food and service was excellent. Highly recommend.
We had a gorgeous evening meal at The Three Tuns. All the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the food was delicious. They brought out colouring for our daughter and we sat outside in the garden before eating inside. We had the steak pie and pizzas which were a great size and they boxed up the leftover slices for us to take away. The sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie were also amazing. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a lovely place to eat or have a drink. Didn't see the guest rooms but everything we did see was clean and well kept.
We were staying in St Keverne and the Three Tuns was one of our favourite places to eat with our spaniel Lily . The food and service was fab and the pub lovely with a lot of history . The new owners were so friendly and helpful and loved dogs too which is always a bonus - thankyou we hope to be back one day
Fantastic Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff and a good vibe. Not stayed here due to being local but eaten here many times and always been good.
Nice friendly staff with exceptional food. Stayed in a bell tent, warm comfortable and suprising amount of room. Shower block facilities well maintained clean and tidy and well presented will be staying again
While staying at a very disappointing hotel in nearby Coverack we happened upon this property. It was shortly before 6.00pm on a Saturday night & we were advised that without a reservation, the earliest that we would be able to be seated would be 8.00pm we headed back to our hotel room & awaited our time. We arrived to a property full of (what we believe) locals, in full song, with that evenings entertainer. Our wait was rewarded with great meals (generous portions) & an evening of entertainment that Mrs. A & I will remember & be telling friends about upon our return to "THE GREAT WHITE NORTH" aka Canada - SPA007
My husband and I arrived here for dinner on 4/09/2025 for an evening meal. We were offered to order off the 2 course supper menu at £20.50 pp and £10 off a bottle of wine. The waitress confirmed this as we placed our orders. My trout was overcooked but my husbands chicken dish was good. A bill of £92 was presented to us which was incorrect. A second bill of £82 was presented, again incorrect. The person who was dealing with bill was the manageress, who said we ordered off the A la carte menu. We politely informed her we had been advised by the waitress that we had ordered off the supper menu. She then rudely blurted out 'Well what do you expect me to do about it?' and my husband calmly said we wanted the correct bill. She came back with a third bill (correct this time with 10% service added on) and slammed it down on the table. *Receipt attached below* We paid and left. An extremely unpleasant interaction with the rudest and most unprofessional manageress. I have never left a bad review before but in this instance it is absolutely necessary.
giving out drinks and supporting the local fox Hunt under the smoke screen of trail hunting fox hunters gather outside the pub and are given drinks by the landlord " The cury hunt terrorise and slaughter Britain's wildlife. fox hunting very much exists down at the bottom of Cornwall where foxes are torn apart alive with a pack of hounds for the gratification of the on viewers & hedge drippers from the village.
