They are regularly out of menu items. It's understandable to be out of things from time to time, but literally every single time we are there, they are out of something we attempt to order. This time it was the firebird. How are you out of your signature dish? Mediocre service, the girls were on their phones the entire time we were in the restaurant. I had to ask for refills for our drinks. Will we continue to eat there? Yes, bc unfortunately there aren't many other options. I wish they had a great manager that led by example and taught their servers good serving skills and could manage to keep their menu items in stock.

First off, I would like to say your food was 👏Amazing!! We walked in and our potential server didn't welcome us , smile or say something ..anything...I'll be with you in a second or please sit anywhere... once she did come around to us she was rude and short. Yes she asked for our drink order and I said I wanted queso n chips but once u said ok ur drink? Wowww.... Attitude!!! Once we got our order to us. Which was hot and delicious.. she didn't make courtesy trips to check on drinks or we need anything. We had to wait for everyone to leave .for our ticket n box . THE MEALS was AMAZING ONCE AGAIN SHOUT TO THE COOK!!! . but servers/hostess yal need training. Your tips are based on ur work... n am a tipper. But I hope u have a better Friday April-Server.

Ordered a steak medium. Got it rare. Loaded mashed potatoes were not real but instant. Side salad was lettuce with a piece tomato n cucumber with rings of onion on top. Waitress was kind.

Been eating here for years, yesterday I had the absolutely worst visit. The customer service was horrible, food took forever. The waitress was not doing a good job at all. All in all, it was the worst service I've ever experienced here, I hope they figure it out.

Me,my son and wife went to celebrate my wife’s birthday with a nice steak dinner. They were out of steaks at 6 o’clock. We went ahead and ordered something not sure what now and salad for each of us which was three, waitress came back and said they only had two salads and after looking at those two salads, we decided this was not the place we needed to be they had been there at least a day so we paid for a appetizer and left to find somewhere that would have a steak. What gives, people this is a steakhouse and it had lousy food or none at all. The place was not clean and we will never go back. It also had a funky smell the place actually smell like beer and dirty whole place is nasty really. Shame on HEREFORD, beef capital of Texas and calling this place a steakhouse!

This place is filthy, smelled like a bar, with food on the walls and menus so worn you can’t even read what sides they offer. They were out of several steaks and sides when we went. I felt bad for the waitress who had to bring out very sad salads that were soggy and looked a day or two past their prime, maybe even frozen at some point. After that we cancelled our order and left. It might have been good once, but Dakota’s is not a place I’d recommend.

OMG,..so I've been here a few times and each time I tell myself that I won't be back, but here I am. What a disappointment, this would be a great place for a Nice Steak House in Hereford. I guess management doesn't care, this place is disgusting, dirty, crap in all the corners, dirty floors. The tables are just out, in no certain order or arrangement. It doesn't matter that the menus are faded and that you can't see anything clearly, ... they're always out of stuff. Today, no salad, no green beans, no ribeye, no chicken fried steak!!! What? Why bother to even open! What a disappointment. You need to shut down your kitchen and stick to selling beer. I love to eat out,.just never there again..

This evening was my 1st and last time eating here Unfortunately. Wait staff was friendly but service was extremely slow. I ordered a mango margarita but they did not have the mango to make it so I settled for a regular margarita. It was definitely not prepared correctly. My sisters tea glass had residue from a tajin rim as the glass was not washed correctly. Waited 30+ mins for appetizers, the blooming Onion was not cooked all the way and lacked seasonings. We ordered a shrimp dish and were told there was no shrimp. Then ordered a side of green beans I was told there is no green beans. Second round of drinks was brought out with no ice because apparently they ran out of ice also. Being that it was our first time here the menus are so faded. We could not even see what was available to us.

First of all when you walk in it’s dirty. Floors sticky pieces of things on the floor. Sticky menus. My husband ordered the Cajun pasta. Let me start by saying nasty… smoked sausage not andoui I ordered the chicken Alfredo. Bland no flavor. I asked for extra parm and got powdered parm not stringy fresh parm. It was flavorless. Everything we originally wanted to order they didn’t have or didn’t serve it. The menu on the website is not current. You’d have a better experience at mcDonald’s. New ownership has let the place go to crap. If there are any restraunt owners around Hereford that need an exceptional waitress ours was amazing provided great service and was very apologetic. I felt for her know what the place use to be and what it is now. Totally disappointed. Let me add the ranch was watered down sour cream they served with the soggy blooming onion. Their prices to not match what you get at all. I’ve been all over god green earth. Ate at the best and ate at the worse. This place sucks.

Rude..lazy terrible cold food and I saw roaches on the floor somebody should really call the health inspector..thats disgusting. My family walked out after seeing the roaches ..yuck!!

Went in to have a nice meal after church, ordered an appetizer when waitress took our drink order, 30 minutes later, I had to ask about the appetizer. Which we didn't get for another 20 minutes. Waitress then came to tell us they couldn't get chicken fried steak to thaw out, and never received my order at all. Will not be going back.

For a steakhouse, you would think this place would be on point, NOPE. For starters, the Mai Tai was nothing but juice. When the waitress asked if I wanted another drink, the answer was clearly no. But no big deal because it was pretty hungry so I order the 8 Oz steak with mashed potatoes (no gravy) and a side salad. Problem number 2... I ordered the steak medium but it was almost well done. The salad was old and dried out and the mashed potatoes was too cold very garlic heavy. If the menu mentioned that it was galic mashed potatoes, I would have ordered something else. I didn't say anything or make a big deal because I wasn't expecting much from the place. Then came Problem number 3, I was charged over $90 for a $25meal. Of course they refunded back the incorrect amount and charged me the right amount, but now I have 2 charges and have to wait 3 to 5 days for the refund of their mistake. Again, I didn't make a big deal, but lesson learned... Not worth the money, very disappointed 👎🏽
