Pizza is amazing! The owner is from Chicago suburbs and his pizza is so good. The owner is often at the store with the workers and also super friendly with the customers. All the staff here are super lovely and nice people and I love going here. We get the jalapeño and pineapple custom pizza. We've also tried their deep dish and it's also amazing. The beer and wine selection is pretty solid too! This is my favorite pizza place of all time :)

Went in for the first time to meet some buddies and oh my.. what a delicious and fresh tasting pizza. Cannot wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Prices were very agreeable and was super easy to share a bunch of things with a group at the bar. Keep it up Red & Louie's!! You've got something special here.

We ordered a regular cheese, regular pepperoni, and a Margarita Bianca!!!! Super delicious and the ingredients tasted fresh and top quality! We enjoyed our dinner so much!! Best pizza place! Would love to see a restaurant like this in Vegas! Thank you so much for such a delicious experience!

Ideal place for a casual drink or pizza; it’s open late, serves Chicago-style pizza and sides and feels like old hermosa in a very inviting way. Can be loud and communal but Bobby D will take care of you. Get the hot honey 🍯

This is hands down the best pizza I've had in a while. The owner even gave us a peek of the unique pizza oven. We had the Classic Margarita and the Blanco Margarita and they were outstanding. The owner gets the crust perfectly thin and crispy. This is not drunk pizza, it's a masterpiece.

Wow this lived up to the reviews! This spot is an absolute must. First of all the staff was extremely helpful in guiding our choices and making recommendations. I was so hangry from a beach day that I couldn’t even make coherent choices. The owner (I think) was super friendly, introduced himself, and offered us a round on the house. We took our food to go back to the hotel and IT BLEW MY MIND. Italian salad is stellar with ranch for the dressing. Homemade meatball sandwich was absolutely outstanding. And best of all…the PIZZA. Flavor is out of this world with crust so thin and crispy! I did a half and half and was able to try the deluxe (sausage omg) and the Margherita Blanca. Trust me when I say we will be back when we are in town next time. My only regret is I didn’t order a dessert!

Today I went with my family to have some pizza. This was the first time. We really enjoyed the quality of the food, fresh ingredients, very polite staff and very clean place. Almost new floor, good repair and atmosphere. We will come again.

Really nice people making delicious deep dish pizza that reminded me of some of the best I had on the East Coast when I was a kid. Thanks for being so nice to me and my little from big brothers big sisters of LA! It was his first deep dish!!

Their authentic Pepperoni pizza is absolutely delicious 😋....I also enjoyed their homemade ranch dressing which I dipped my crust in ☺️🍕.... Staff is super friendly and attentive. I had the privilege to meet the owner who was also friendly and provided quality professional service to me and my friends as he brought us chocolate treats after our meal.

In search of an Italian Beef sandwich to rival Mr. Beef in Chicago (verdict: there is none), we headed to Red & Louie’s Pizzeria. I know. But nonetheless, we ventured out, and for a sports bar, you can’t go wrong here. Good food - try the toasted raviolis (someone is missing the midwest), and their Italian Beef is NOT bad. Friendly service, and right on Hermosa Ave a block from the beach means you can have midwest and west coast all rolled into one! Enjoy! Note: easy parking not included.

This place is a small store with counter seating and several booth seating areas. The pizza is one of the best I've had in a very long time. The owner is Red and he is from Chicago and serves a Chicago style pizza. Louie in the Red & Louie's Pizzaria is Red's Black Cat. Louie is NOT on the premises so don't go looking for him because he is sitting back and collecting the belly rubs. ;)

Had a very delicious create your own pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms!! This is exactly how I like pizza and with the fluffy crust. They serve beer but I whent with a premium bottle root beer. Very good !!

It made me feel like I was eating inside the Loop in Chicago, but without the usual heaviness or saltiness of traditional deep-dish. The sauce was vibrant, the cheese was gooey and indulgent, and the crust had that perfect golden crunch. The Owners and Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. Plus, they have a fantastic selection of adult beverages to pair with your meal. If you love pizza, this spot is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be back! 🍕🔥

They have really good pizza! I tried their thin crust Deluxe and Margherita pizza. I loved how it was crunchy and toasty, it was perfect. I also tried their well done fries and buffalo jumbo wings, and they were really good as well. Their servers were very friendly and attentive. FYI- Yelp says they open at 3pm but they actually open at 4pm (at least in the weekend)

A classic Chicago place with perfectly well done thin square cut and deep dish pizza AND an elevated Italian Beef that won't disappoint even if you are a Portillos fan. Great local happy ambiance too. Wish I lived a lot closer than I do...

It's sooo good. My wife would suggest the Pinkus beer. They also have a Ms. Pac Man / Galaga table game that you can play for free. We went on a Thursday night, spontaneously, and it wasn't crowded at all.

You can really taste the freshness and quality of ingredients. Make sure you ask for their house made ranch and hot honey! A perfect compliment to a delicious pizza you can tell is made with love and care. We live in LA proper and would make the drive down here just to have pizza. The atmosphere truly feels like Cheers and I’m so grateful we decided to walk in for a bite. Special shout out to Bobby d for making us feel at home. With legit one of the best pizzas we’ve had. Ever.

Hooray! Decent deep dish pizza that isn't swimming in cornmeal on the bottom. It takes 25-35 minutes so get some appetizers. I do wish they had more specials that both had a lot of meat and veggies, but I feel like most pizza places think you only like one or the other Outdoor seating is gone (and despite telling Google maps to change this, they haven't) but we sat next to the giant most of the wall open window. The sun shade for sunset did block more air than I would like for a chunk of our meal. After we sat down, a very drunk, very loud party of folks who finally got a night off from the kids sat next to us. Nothing like that Hermosa strand vibe.

I tried it about a month ago. A friend and I ordered what I call a meat-a-saurus pizza. It was absolutely perfect. On this trip for the review we thought "this place never disappoints." Something wasn't quite there. It doesn't deter me and I will be back.

The fried ravioli, caesar salad, and french dip was good. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was excellent. The restaurant patreon were interesting and entertaining. Parking is so-so considering it's Hermosa Beach.

It was empty today during fiesta Hermosa. Literally only one table taken when we walked in. It was our first time there. Had the thin crust bc we didn't want to waste a lot of time waiting. It was edible....but stuck to the white cardboard thing it was presented on. Lost so much cheese and bottom crust trying to pry the cardboard off our food before eating it. Overall, wayyyy too expensive for mediocre, small pizzas. Also, we ordered fries and they were covered in black pepper. Who puts pepper on fries?!?! And doesn't disclose it on the menu?!?!

This place came up #1 on Yelp. We both thought we shoud go there! Ugh! I will not believe yelp reviews ever again. We got the house original thin. Meh....it wasn't bad, however I would not call it the best. Not even close. Atmosphere is a little cramped inside. We were both disappointed and will not make a 2nd trip there.

pretty decent pizza until I bit into a slice and almost broke a tooth. See picture, a chicken bone was left on one of our slices.

I went by myself for a pizza, looked around - 8 available seats. Initially the waiter seated me at a table for 2 and when he found out I'm by myself he asked me to move to the bar - which I did and after he asked me again to move to another part of bar where literally you couldn't sit because of the large gentleman near the available chair. Got up and left. I live in the neighborhood - not going back again, either alone or group.
