Best white Sangria I have had!! The food was delicious. I ordered chicken parm and my kids loved the pasta with vodka sauce, they did not have Alfredo sauce on the menu but we asked and they came through for us. Live music was playing I am not sure what days they play it, but we enjoyed it. Lots of locals, it was graduation week and it looked like lots of people knew each other and the staff knew them too. It was a complete experience, drinks, music and delicious food. We will make reservations next time.

Always a great pleasure dining here.. aHands down the best Italian food on Long Island. Friendly, efficient waitstaff. My family and I can't get enough of their delicious food.. On weekends it can get quite busy, I'd recommend calling for reservations.

Da Nicola restaurant is truly a gem in the dining scene. When you step inside, you are greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and immaculately clean surroundings. The amazing bartender, Marisol, provides top-notch service with a friendly smile and a talent for mixing the perfect drink. I ordered a dirty martini! Delicious!! One dish that stands out is the delicious Chicken Calabrese. The flavors were bold and satisfying, leaving you wanting more with each bite. Amazing. The menu is full of tasty options to cater to every palate. Overall, Da Nicola restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The excellent service, delectable food, and welcoming ambiance make it a standout choice for any occasion.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing, love the ambiance, went there for a birthday dinner! Unfortunately they didn’t have pizza so we were all bummed out; but we ordered alternatives and when I tell you every single thing was on point, every single thing was ON POINT! I am usually not a big fan of seafood, but their seafood options were amazing and delicious, baked clam, calamari, chicken parm, Avocado salad, Caesar salad. On & on 10/10. Their pasts were so-so, kind of bland but very safe options. The waiters were kind and nice. Their birthday wish was very lively and eventful. Lovely ambiance as well, the restaurant is packed usually. They have valet, but finding parking is usually tough. So def recommend you use the valet. We all had a phenomenal time! Will go again! Will try their pizza as well.

I went here for a graduation celebration once and another time just to pick up an appetizer. Both times the service was outstanding and the manager was very willing to help. He even helped carry a hot platter to the car since it was freshly made and the food was hot. The food is delicious and made to order in efficient time. The staff is friendly and is always willing to ask if you are okay. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Eggplant parm was exquisite. Vegy shaved salad was fresh with a lovely vinaigrette. Lychee martini was perfect completed with toasted almond cake. My server was extremely pleasant

Da Nicola absolutely exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, and authentically Italian, the perfect balance of upscale and welcoming. We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was exceptional. The halibut with butter lemon sauce was perfectly cooked ,flaky, delicate, and incredibly fresh. The sauce was light yet flavorful, enhancing the fish without overpowering it. It was elegant and balanced. The grilled branzino over broccoli rabe was another standout. The branzino had a beautiful char and crisp skin, while staying tender and moist inside. Paired with the slightly bitter, perfectly sautéed broccoli rabe, it was a flawless combination. The pasta with short ribs was pure comfort food in the best way. The short ribs were melt in your mouth tender, and the sauce was rich, deep, and clearly slow cooked with care. You can taste the love and time that went into it. And the chicken calabrese had just the right kick …bold, flavorful, and perfectly executed without being overwhelming. What truly sets Da Nicola apart, though, is the hospitality. The service was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. The pacing of the meal was perfect, and every plate came out beautifully presented. This wasn’t just dinner, it was an experience. Da Nicola is the kind of place you look forward to returning to before you’ve even left the table. Highly, highly recommend.

They quickly made another order with GF pasta and told me to just keep the regular one. The food is amazing, and the staff couldn't be nicer. They also offered me a drink while I was waiting. Five stars always.

Food is always great here! Everyone from the hostess to the chef is beyond friendly. This place can get a little loud on weekends because it's definetly a packed house. Haveny had a meal I didn't love.

I went here mostly to escape the heat since my AC wasn't working. They had live music ⏯️ ng and the place was pretty full. Usually an indicator that they serve good food. Boy was I right. I had the bone in rib eye which was a little charred for me, but not enough to ruin it in anyway. The meat was tender and juicy. My wife's Bolognese was amazing. The biggest surprise was the mash potatoes.Jesus, best mash I've had in my life, I didn't expect them to be so good. This was also the first time I had Italian cheesecake which was pretty good. It was light, and lightly sweetened with a taste of lemon. I enjoyed it, not as much as traditional cheesecake but not bad at all. Service was good and prompt even though they had a pretty full house. The manager or owner came by and was very pleasant and warm.Overall I'll come back again, this place is a gem that I will add to my list of places to visit when I'm back in NYC.

First time visit. I was impressed with the service. We wanted outside seating and they placed a table outside just for us. Servers were good and generally attentive. The chicken Calabrese was a generous portion and quite delicious. Took the rest home and enjoyed the second serving there too. Prices are generally decent.

Since it was an extremely busy night for them I’m certain this could be the reason it didn’t live up to the previous reviews. We had a reservation and still had to wait over 20 mins to be seated. It was Vday so I get it, they were packed to capacity so I tried not to let it annoy me too much. Service was also pretty slow and not very attentive, our table barely got checked on. Again, extremely busy night so I get it. Finally, the food and drinks were just ok. The best item we had for the night was their crab cake. Everything else we had left us underwhelmed. Again, I’m sure the kitchen was super busy and burnt out and it probably wasn’t their best work. Not sure if I’ll be back, but if do return I’ll be sure to go on a less busy night to see if I have a better experience.

We are frequent diners.. which is why we were stunned that the "Manager" of the restaurant was hostile when questioned as to why 20% glass of the cocktail ordered was left not full. He began with a statement "We had a meeting with the boss last night". and among other things said "We can`t give away alcohol for free" stated in an accusatory way.The interpretation being "You want to steal alcohol from the restaurant."! Yes ,the manager of Da Nicola is now accusing patrons of wanting to steal from the restaurant !! The "cocktail " itself was very poorly prepared more like warm lemon juice with a touch of alcohol. Hopefully this was an aberration and the "Manager" gets some hospitality training, and and the bartender learns how to prepare a drink.As of now beware.
