The cafe de olla is from Oaxaca Mexico Toasted. Have a delicious flavor. And a sweet bread, tres leches cake, trenzas. Hot chocolate and champurrado.

Love the cakes by the slice. Slushitos popular with kiddo. Friendly and helpful always - cheery place to stop by in the morning on the way to work.

This location was great, cashier graciously offered a sample of the guava cake - which was delicious (note to self: mom's birthday cake). Coffee was perfect - I asked for ice to cool it quicker and received quickly in a smaller plastic cup - which was also perfect, ☆☆☆☆☆

La Monarca is my go-to for fresh pastries and great coffee. Their tres leches cake is amazing—moist and not overly sweet. The decor is warm and inviting, with bright colors and Mexican-inspired art. Service is friendly and efficient. I also like their organic Mexican coffee, which has a rich, smooth flavor. It’s a great spot for a casual breakfast or afternoon snack.

i went there and it was nice and cozy. their mini cookies were only .75 and they are so tasty. i might turn around to get more. i got a large vanilla latte which comes with 1 shot so i added 3 more. very nice staff. i hope i can make it back someday

I stopped by to use their restroom while I was delivering mail and Google flagged me down for a review. Their establishment is clean and well-lit and smells like sweet pastries. Their restroom is really clean too. I guess any place that puts in that much effort and attention to cleanliness must have good food and refreshments. Also, I didn't get shot like that time I didn't get shot when I drove by that park while delivering mail the other night. 5 out of 5 stars.

This place is the bomb! The staff is friendly. The environment is cool and relaxing. Parking is pretty plentiful. It’s a good relaxing environment, especially for studying. They do not have WiFi at the moment, but for me that cool because it limits distractions. I absolutely love the staff. They are the best. I hope management is treating you well because you all deserve it!

Try the dulce leche croissant. The staff was kind enough to give me a cup with ice with my Topo Chico on a warm day, the first of December in Los Angeles. High ceilings. Massive space. The door knob on the restroom is tricky and there's no wifi.

Good: Coffee, WiFi, bunch of tables and outlets. Bad: Always cold inside. Bring a jacket if you plan on having a study session in here. Music tends to be super loud. Bring headphones.

We got breakfast sandwiches, they were delicious. Our coffee was really tasty, was hoping to have it hot. But the espresso machine was broken, so we got iced coffee.

Staff is pretty awesome. So far great experiences. Great pastries, galletas , pan , pastel, flan. This time they had samples of a tasty moist melt in your mouth guava cake. BOMB! They offer drinks, tacos, other food and snacks :))

We got breakfast sandwiches, they were delicious. Our coffee was really tasty, was hoping to have it hot. But the espresso machine was broken, so we got iced coffee.

I like this place but lately they have been giving me the wrong items in delivery orders and one time it was a cake that turned out not to be fresh. I had already cut into it so I didn't think I could take it back but also, I am trying to avoid contact because of covid, so I just put up with it. Another time they cancelled an order of mine for no reason and when I called they couldn't figure out why they had cancelled it. So I am not as eager to order from here as in the past. It's too bad, they used to be good.

Bought 3 different cake slices 😋 Guava, Chocolate, and dunce de leche. All three were dry and tasted like they were in the fridge for a few days😬😭. I also had their Cafe de olla , it was delicious 😋 . Customer service was great!!!

Bruh! Idk who told them to make champurrado or whatever it is but it's not good. It tastes like watery hot chocolate with some cinnamon. Three times is the charm. Whether it’s morning or evening, they’re always out of bread or cafe de olla. The worse is their unapologetic attitude. I really wonder how this business continues open despite their lack of items and service.

Ordered a Tres Leches cake from here for my wife's birthday, and it had no flavor. While soaked, it somehow tasted dry. Very disappointed, especially when it's nearly $40 for a whole cake! We've had plenty of Tres Leches cakes (including for our wedding!), and they were all good, and I thought it was impossible to have a bad Tres Leches cake...until now. Would not recommend.

Staff was super rude when I wanted to use the restroom before purchasing food. I didn't want to take my food into the bathroom. Also the bathroom was in bad condition and the bread was stale.

On Thursday April 7 at 2pm my 9 year old daughter and I had a very rude employee interaction. I asked for the regional managers email business card or phone number so I could report this and the woman told me no too bad I'm not going to give it to you get out of here. I'm not from around Los Angeles and couldn't believe the way I was treated by who I would later find out is the shift leader. I will never return to another location of this franchise I will find out what other franchises are associated with the bakery and will no longer frequent them as well

I am very unhappy with my recent visit to this Bakery. I walked in around 7:50 this morning. And place an order for an espresso with almond milk. I asked a woman at the register if this Bakery offered any vegan pastry options and she pointed at a glass cabinet and said "yes! That glass cabinet of pastries is vegan" so then at that point I chose two pastries from the cabinet and added to my order. Once I finish my espresso and pastries, I decided to go on my phone. From where I was sitting I was facing those same glass cabinets about ten feet away and I noticed that one of the other options of pastries in the "vegan cabinet" was a type of cheese danish, So I decided to stand up and walk over to the woman behind the counter and clarify about this vegan pastry. To my great disappointment she informs me that only two options of pastries on the very top, within that cabinet we're vegan!? Everything else was dairy-based. Now realizing that this woman intentionally sold me a non vegan pastry I was very upset. Of course I understand that this was my mistake I believe that it is La Monarca bakery obligation to properly, and visibly label when something is or is not vegan, or at the most correct or clarify when a customer has made a mistake Before placing an order Because now in this morning I feel sick to my stomach.

Bakery is ok, staff on the other hand ruined it for me today. Go in there every day to get tea and a chocolate croissant. Today, they were out of them and on top of it, I seem like someone that tags bathrooms - so I wasn't allowed to use it. I think this is just silly. Also, now I see why locals prefer going to other coffee shops around here. There's a girl that is really nice but the one who was on shift today - Friday around 5 may 20 not about the good vibes.

Pastry and price is good but their burritos sucks. 9 dollars for some little cheap warmed up burrito that looks like the chimichangas you buy at Walmart. Quality is no Bueno. Don't order them unless your okay with paying more for less.

The Dulce de leche roll was probably the only decent item. Came from out of town looking for some good cafe de olla hot beverage and I got a watered down, almost cold, coffee-like beverage. The employee seemed confused and didn’t pay enough attention to understand what I wanted. He seemed to annoyed and bothered to help out.

This is the first low rate I have ever given to a place. I was so very excited to go into the place and make a purchase, the way I was treated by the employee was very disappointing. There was only one person seating at a table, whether if he was a patron or an employee, I don't know. The point is that after looking around I was ready to make a purchase. Took the item I wanted to the counter and addressed the employee who was standing behind facing the wall. I said "Excuse me, I'm ready. When you have a minute, would you please help me?" Since she was facing the wall and not me, I could not see what she was doing. She turned around and in a patronizing, upset, fastidious tone she said "I'm making food, can you please wait? Thank you- ...Thank you- ...Thank you" No, is not what she said that made me upset. The tone and attitude. Patronizing a customer is never a good idea. There was no hand sanitizer anywhere in the store. The employee was wearing a face mask, which by the way I'm thankful for, I would had been even more disappointed and upset if I had seen her face. I have no idea about the quality of the products. There are tables for people to seat and eat. I would not want to be in a place where employees are too busy doing "their job" to be troubled by customers. We are their job and customer service is king. Very disappointed with the employee. I walked out without buying anything. Definitely do not recommend visiting this place.
