I heard good things about the lunch food and prices from my girlfriend and decided to take a look at the dinner menu. Do yourself a favor and stop in here. We split the cup of seafood gumbo that seemed more like a bowl! When they brought out the Snapper Ponchatrain we could have split that three ways and still have been satisfied. Nevertheless we managed to finish it all! The toppings and sauce is legit! Everything was great and I have not had a quality dinner out without spending $200 for this kind of dining. Thank you to Marissa for the attentive service from the moment we walked in the door. Great experience!

This place is great for a date or family dinning. Atmosphere is very upbeat, but not loud. Service is great! Their staff is very professional and you feel like you known them. Managers always come up very friendly and ask about your experience. Definitely stop in and have a bite. Food is awesome!

My significant other and I had a craving for some catfish and chose this seafood restaurant nearby. The wait staff is very courteous, friendly and attentive. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice too. Also For appetizers we ordered the fried alligator which also has stringed onion rings...and the Boudreaux Bread which were both really delicious. We also ordered the catfish and shrimp as our dinner entree. The catfish and shrimp was seasoned perfectly and also tasted really good. We definitely will be coming back to try more food on the menu, which has a nice array of choices to choose. Thank you.

2nd time going there. 1st time took my niece there to celebrate her birthday in July, then I went there with family to celebrate my birthday with her mom, dad, and siblings. The food was great, portions large, and the atmosphere is family and kid friendly.

Every time we visit this place we enjoy our meal. The service is on point and helpful. The kitchen is well run, never making us wait long. The price to portion is fair (important when feeding hungry teenagers). The food is suberb. Delicious crawfish queso and the grilled catfish is perfectly paired with a delicate sauce.

BABY! Let me tell y’all about this mom and pop spot. So, originally I was craving crawfish but seeing how the season has been delayed I started to develop a taste for charbroiled oysters. I searched and seen they had them and good reviews so I was sold! Once we arrived, i expected the place to be bigger but it was honestly perfect size. We were greeted with some nice young adults and took our seats. Almost immediately our server came to us. Drinks ordered- red wine (I forgot to ask the brand but it was so good😭) When it was time to order , they unfortunately were no longer selling the charbroiled oysters. So I went ahead and ordered the crawfish queso and chips 10/10 for my appetizer, the chips were fried to perfection and mixed so well with that queso & stuffed seafood flounder for my main entree also 10/10. First time trying flounder and I was not disappointed. My significant other ordered red beans and rice which I sampled without the meat and the seasoning alone was amazing 😫 and the portion size was immaculate! He also ordered the 2 meat platter which his was shrimp and fish. He gave it 9/10 which is great for him. I finally found a seafood spot close to me that I love and will continue to go back too and bring business with me!! I can’t wait until crawfish season so I can try those there😊

My wife and I went for dinner while here on business and we had never been here. The Boiled Shrimp, Crawfish Queso, 9 Grilled Shrimp, Salmon, Fried Rice, and Vegetable Medley were amazing. The service was outstanding, and even though we came in within 1 hour of closing, they were very attentive and made sure we enjoyed our food and made sure to keep our Refills coming. We also didn't feel rushed. You should definitely check this place out. Located just 0.3 miles West of the Best Western Plus in Manvel.

I have never been disappointed with the food which is delicious or the service. It is also reasonably priced.

Family owned restaurant with a quiet atmosphere. The food is fantastic with reasonable prices. If you want seafood this is definitely the place to go.

Really good local spot for Manvel. Some items I feel like prices a little too high but like they're hamburgers really good they're fish every time I go back I try something new. 54 is a place that makes everything by hand that frozen pot still judging them on that.

The restaurant is super small inside but really good. You get a lot of food for your money and it’s very affordable. The food was good overall! Veggies could use some seasoning and be cooked down a little more but other than that everything was great!

The people are so friendly and I really wanted to love it but my flounder was weirdly metallic tasting. I also tasted the The shrimp very good so maybe it’s what you order. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Pretty nice service. Good Cajun food. A friend thought it was on the salty side. I’m a fan of salty foods so I wouldn’t know if it was or not. It had flavor to me. 3 Flounder and etoufee 3/5 Flounder was good. Etoufee was soso. But watery. Not as saucy as we like it. Gumbo 2/5 Light, tad bland. Too watery. Flavor was okay. Fried seafood platter 5/5 Fish was good. Super tasty batter. Lots of food to try. Everything was still tender. Tartar was good. Boudin something 5/5 Unique take on boudin. Tasted like dirty rice fried in both sides. Super flavorful, had a nice light crunch and soft inside. Played a good balance in texture. It maybe I’m just weird. Stuffed flounder 4/5 Has a good flavor and sauce on top but was a bit dry. Cesar salad 5/5 Solid salad. Dressing a bit salty but it’s on the side so that’s good.

Atmosphere is as expected. A little loud but not unbearable. The wait staff was friendly. The food was disappointing. The shrimp was overcooked but had flavor. The fish however must have been frozen and thawed in water. It was mushy and not flaky at all. The oysters were a joke. Straight out of can and placed in the sauce that is put over the fish. Menu stated you get oysters.. yea, right. The fried mushrooms were good… at least I got something decent out of a $60 meal for two. I’m sure my dog will love it!
