First, good food and friendly staff = 5 stars. I had the most expensive dinner at $21, and buddy it was great. Served in a bowl that stayed hot, it was awesome. Ate breakfast too, after spending a trucker night in the parking lot and it was good. Potatoes were fried on a griddle, not deep fried, skirt steak was great, nopolitos are good. Not everything is karen-perfect (skip the bacon) but it is a real deal.

Large menu selection, very clean, nice and friendly staff, and REALLY good food! It's worth repeating... REALLY good food! The grilled meat selections are exceptionally tender, especially the chicken. This is a little tucked in off the access road so a slightly hidden treasure but worth watching out for if you are in the area.

Best Mexican restaurant in the area! You will not find better tacos or enchiladas anywhere else. This is the go-to restaurant for me and my wife. They have good prices, and a large variety on the menu! Ask for the "bottle of green sauce" to go with your tacos. I don't know what it is, but it's awesome! (Don't let the tractor-trailer parking out front throw you off, this is a nice place to go for dinner.)

El Taco Jalisco is an amazing authentic Mexican Food place. They have truck parking and their tacos/chips are amazing! The sauces are great too but a bit too spicy. It took them a really long time to prepare our order of 3 tacos but they were nice and offered us a free drink because of the long wait.

Overall: Lots of good with some not so good. Everything was hot and tasty enough at a decent enough price. Plus, everywhere inside was nice, clean, and well-maintained. :-) Seasoning and flavor was a mixed bag: Great in the mocajete and default salsa, but the spinach enchiladas had way too little for me *even though* I asked for extra extra extra of any seasonings normally used in it plus much garlic, cilantro, onion, & chile. :-| --Instead, I received a small side bowl of these, minus garlic, rather than cooked in with the food. Loved the tractor-trailer parking! Used it. :-) Our waitstaff? Nice enough and great at the very beginning, but quite oddly under-attentive after that compared to most other restaurants. :-| (When: Sunday around Noon.)

Stopped here for dinner on way back to Dallas. The food tasted good. Nice ambiance. Good crowd. Quick service and friendly staff. Ample parking space and they even have a truck parking space too.

We eat here at least once a month and we always have enjoyed good food and good service. I ordered the large bowl of menudo for lunch. It arrived on time, bowl full and piping hot. Fresh cilantro, onions, and peppers chopped and on a plate ready for me to season my order. We also had the tamale plate. But it appeared to be just a bit under cooked as the masa was slightly soft, perhaps a few more minutes in the steamer was of sufficed.

We stopped for breakfast tacos and they were very good and friendly service. Will go again.

store bought tortillas for a large burrito other tacos where extra small usually a person orders 2 tacos and are full but here you get a 2 bite taco and on to the next and your still hungry. taco prices are to high for such small portions and My beef fajita taco was 40 percent onion so never again

Worst place to have Mexican food. Definitely not authentic. Their beans, nopales and enchilada sauce was from a can and tortillas from a package, not homemade. Very over priced. Not worth it at all…

The food is delicious and almost all the time fresh, but the portion is just very little and not right. I have address it to the waitress.

Not sure what meat was in my taco. The margaritas had a carbon drink in it. This is more on a cheap truck stop with showers than restaurant.
