Absolutely love eating here whenever I go to Akwesasne. Typically eat here once or twice a month and it’s absolutely great!

I'm a long haul truck driver from Washington state and had three days before I could offload so I parked in the Bears Den truck parking. I went in for breakfast the next morning and wound up going back two more times. I thought the food was on point and the staff were friendly and fun. I would agree with one of the other reviews that the fresh cut fries were a little under cooked but didn't detract from my experience. The Kodiak Poutine was by far my favorite, very satisfying!

Stopped in to eat before heading across the border. Full diner experience and the lady who waited on me was super friendly. Ordered the turkey bacon cheese panini with crinkle cut fries..it was absolutely delicious. The sandwich was piping hot and crispy! Timing was perfect! Will stop here again when traveling back from the USA.

The price is good. The waiters are very kind and efficient. The food was great, I cannot complain. They have all you need, since they are connected to a tim Horton's and small store. I liked my experience, and will most likely go there every time I go to the states.

Nice stop if you need to gas up and grab a snack. They have all the normal items of a convenient store along with some premade sandwiches and some fresh fruit, such as oranges and apples. There is also a restaurant attached if your looking for something to eat that is a little more substantial. Gasoline is also available. Full service.

Our server was great. She was really nice and helpful, she always had a smile! The food was good as well. My only complaint is that the host who was an older lady could be heard complaining about another customer who worked for TMG. It was uncomfortable that she would complain so loudly.

Bears den is home to the biggest burger in northern New York. Okay maybe not but it's still a half pound burger. It seems that this burgers about the size of a small baby's head. Soups are hot and ready. Food is made to order. Being on the reservation there is no tax. Go to certain of different kinds of food. Everything seems to be fully customizable. Wait staff is generally great.

I usually get breakfast when I come here. I love their steak and eggs.

We used to stop here quite a bit for breakfast when on cross border motorcycle trips (pre-Covid). Tried it again last week and was not disappointed. They are struggling (like every other place) to get staff but our wait was only a little longer than I remembered and the breakfast was just as generous and tasty as before. I have always like the wait staff here as being very friendly and efficient when busy (lots of the time). I can't comment on the rest of the menu because we only ever have breakfast but, if you like pancakes, try them here. Place is always clean, and paved parking is ample. There is a patio. I will be back.

Maple bacon poutine was delicious! The cheese and chicken quesadilla was good but had too much cheese even for me lol. Waitress was very nice. The attached gift shop was also nice with a good selection of items like dreamcatchers, mugs, blankets, and more.

One of the last down home diners. Clean environment. Friendly staff waitress was excellent. Food was good but not Wow. But I will definitely be eating there when I’m back in the area. Way better than a lot of the options in that area.

I haven't been here for years because the service was horrible. This has improved since my last visit. The food is good and they offer free WiFi.

Food taste amazing but we unfortunately couldn't get what we wanted because we arrived at 12 and they stopped selling french toast at 11 I'm not sure how hard it could be to cook french toast all day but we very disappointed.

Usually stop by once a year or so to visit my grandmother. Overall the meal was pretty mediocre. My kids Mac and cheese seemed like a Kraft dinner. My fried fish was over cooked and the other food was just meh. The fried cheese curd was really awesome and fresh when we got it though. Overall, I'd describe this place as a subpar diner.

Disappointed again. They used to have such great food but twice now it wasn't that great. I ordered a burger with sauteed onions and fries with gravy. I had a two day on the job waitress who was a little confused. I understand that. The older waitress assured me she help put it in correctly. I got no gravy so she ended up bringing me a side of luke warm lumpy gravy. I noticed the onions were missing so told her and about 2 minutes later she brought onions that weren't sauteed merely warmed on the grill. On the bright side the mild wings were delicious and the only saving grace. Might be back for the chicken wings but nothing else.

The place was not comfortable, the place looked dirty but not filthy, we had 2 waitresses, the first one was kinda rude, and the 2nd brought out food was nice but we only had for a second. The menus were sticky and gross, when was the last time they were washed? The walls had crayon all over them, why would you let kids write on the walls? The bathrooms were so unusable. Sorry

Service is great, food tastes good but the prices are outrageous even though there is no tax. You’d wish the food was way cheaper and be taxed ! If you’re a senior, be warned ! Dooooo not order the senior Menu ! The 15 dollar haddock fish you’ll get a tiny 1 1/2 inch by 3 inch strip of fish that’s laughable along with a tiny scoop of mashed potatoes, 2 table spoons of coleslaw and a little bun the size of a munchkin doughnut 😂 oh let’s not forget the 11 dollar appetizer onion rings that did taste good but on the plate you had about 7 rings in total ! ! ! Stay away from this place unless you’re starved to death and have the money to throw away because my grizzly burger was 23 dollars !

Service sucks!! There are only a few people there and we waited 20 minutes for a cheeseburger and fries...I always go back hoping it will get better and it never does.. so this is actually a great place to eat if your patient and have time on your hands.

First of all I’ll start with the good part of experience… place was clean and warm. Second my waitress was excellent!! But outside of that, food was sub par. Luke warm and small portion of meat for the price. Next a manager was loudly criticizing the waitress and waiter’s performance in front of customers. There’s a time and place for that. Definitely not going to return. 😟

Took forever to get my food, me and my friend just ordered breakfast. So I got up to pay for my drinks and leave then the waitress said to wait and would have my food to go and I didn't need to pay. I wasn't going to wait but I did because I was hungry.

I go there on low income to get kerosene for my heater when Mohawk Fuels sucked 199.5 gallons of kerosene out of the small tank to leave me and others without. They did it to speedway down the road and left hundreds with no kerosene for their needs I was one of many that got turned away. It's not justified by any means. Couldn't even get what I needed. Shame on the business for that.

I ordered a burger and fries their burger tasted like a prefrozen mcdonalds burger the gravey I got with my fries was terrible 0 flavor the waitress was loud and yelling every where she went and the prices are more expensive then their local competition save yourself a trip and steer clear of this place it ised to be good years ago but its gone down in quality and up in price.

This place is a joke everybody needs to pass this place by stop giving your money to truck stops that refuse to let drivers shower. I am on the road all but 4 weeks out of the year and rely on truck stop showers for basic hygiene and this place refused me that service!!!

I dined in and had to wait twenty minutes for corned beef hash and eggs, the waitress was rude, the food when it finally came was underwhelming and way over priced. So needless to say that was my first and last time going there.

Last year I left a 5 star review. I have to take that back. Our server today was very young, inexperienced, uninterested, not engaging. Hovered impatiently when we told him he needed a little more time looking at the menu. I asked for napkins and didn't get them until I was done eating. He didn't come back once to see if everything was ok, to refresh drinks, or ask if we needed anything. The food was pretty awful. My friend got boneless wings which were dried out, old, small pieces of chicken, all 6 of them. I got the nachos, yuck. Tasteless hamburg on chips with gas station fake cheese sauce and very little else. The staff were all talking and laughing so loud, we had to yell over the top of them to have our own conversation. They were not paying attention to the customers at all. I left a small tip, and will not go back. This used to be a decent place to eat but someone isn't minding the shop!

I understand they are short staffed but there were very few people there with us being waited on. We waited over an hour for our food to get to us. The waiter was farely new which is fine but the other waitress made this waiter leave our table to take someone else’s order. We were literally saying our order and she made him walk away. We will not be coming back

First time ever I’ve had a waitress take our order, forget she was our server and never put our order in!! Will not be going there ever again! Left without ever getting any food 🤬

Food was ok, but had a sick feeling afterwards because all they play on the TV's are Fox news. It was a disgusting display of fake news. I asked the waiter to turn the channel but he had ordersn not to. I won't set foot in there again.

Poor experience. Half of my meal was raw/poorly cooked, when asked to remake that portion of the meal the entire plate was evidently just placed in the microwave. Service was great and accommodating but I would not return.

My family and I went to breakfast this morning and between the waitress Chrystal, and the cook, our food was cold and not made right. We asked for specific add on in our food and it was not done. While we were waiting we heard her yelling about lost orders and she was just very unprofessional. I will say that the young man that Chrystal was training was the best part of our experience he was attentive and making sure my kids had colors and a coloring paper. He asked if we had our orders put in for drinks and made sure we were good. All in all we won't be coming back for sometime.

The waitress was short and rushing for the order. My mushrooms were very expensive for the amount I received and not cooked fully. Never brought an item that was ordered. This establishment has gone downhill extremely bad over the years. Will not come back here and I’m sure you don’t care.

The place is filthy. It took 10 minutes just to get menus and it took 45 minutes after we ordered to get out food and the place was not busy. They manager offered free dessert due to the long wait but we declined so she did make an adjustment to our bill.
