Whataburger is loved by almost everyone in Texas. I'm a huge fan of the sweet and spicy bacon burger. Everything at whataburger is perfect. It's always very clean, you always see all employees working, and they always greet people politely and respectfully. The only problem Is time. Whataburger is known for their burgers, not for quickness of delivery. But the food Is worth the wait in the long run.

I went at 10:50 in the morning and Laura who was working at the hand off window is such a hard worker! She was fast friendly and I was impressed of how she was able to multitask. She handed me my drinks, told me to pull up, and was able to listen to the other customer on the headset all at the same time.

The new wing where not as we expected they do not make sure wings are sauced right. Some of the wing had no sauce and it was just disappointing. They give really bad attitude when u mention small thing but yet they give you things how ever they please. I think it could be done better taking their time with the order and giving good customers service.

Pretty good place but you have to know when to go there, which is pretty much during low traffic times because they will sit there and make fresh fries for you if you ask them. And I officially nominate this location for the 2025’s Only One Sauce Packet Per Customer Awards. I wish good luck to this location, the Boss Chicken in Eastlake will sell you four breaded chicken tenders and will only give you one ketchup, they mean business.

Whataburger in Horizon City, TX always does a great job ensuring all food I've ever ordered from there is hot and fresh, which is totally awesome and greatly appreciated!! In addition, the service has always been outstanding... especially the order takers/cashiers inside!! I'm always greeted with a "Welcome to Whataburger," when I first walk in, a cheery smile when I get to the counter, and very friendly employees with positive attitudes when placing my order!! I've never used drive thru service, so can't speak on that, but can almost guarantee I'd be met with the same exceptional service!! Way To Go Horizon City TX Whataburger!!!

They make the drive thru experience terrible, pay drive around wait about 10 mins from the 15 to order forget to add stuff I have to constantly check if my order is correct, then park to get my condiments that I asked for at the window. It's annoying and needs attention to be fixed.

First let start off by saying I love Whataburger but this particular location disappointed me a bit this morning around 5 am. It wasn't the food but the service. When I walked in, there was no one at the front counter to greet me nor acknowledge the fact that I just walked in. Then I stood there and waited, and waited. Until finally an employee saw me but didn't take my order, merely acknowledged my presence, told me they'll be right with me and went around to the back to inform the person responsible. She promptly came out, apologized and took my order. During my meal, I witnessed another customer walk in, and wait and wait. She became visibly irritated. Finally another employee saw her, acknowledged her and informed the right person. This cannot happen again. Two instances when the customer had to wait to be acknowledged by someone. I'm sorry, that is wrong and terrible service. Please work on that. Thank you.

Have ordered a couple of times for curbside pickup, and they always take more time than what they say. One time, we waited for 10 minutes until my husband decided to go in and saw everyone laughing. Our bag was just sitting on the counter. Food is usually cold and service sucks. Workers get mad at you when you ask for sauces.

Whataburger is known for its great tasting burgers, so obviously, this one is no exception. My issue with this establishment is the number of times I've had incorrect orders from this location. Enough times to distrust when i receive the order to have to check it and make sure i get the correct item every single visit. I try my best not to order during rush hour, but even then, it's happened several times where I get my order with something I asked not to be included or something was forgotten. To be clear, I'm not one of those types to be grossed out and lose my appetite and through a fit if I get onions in my burger when I specifically asked for no onions. I'll eat the burger regardless. It is just an annoyance and an inconvenience that happens too often.

I guess the manager is not reading the reviews. (1) Cold Buns make for a bland a burger. (2) Fries are very small. Like “bottom of the bag” small. Cant dip in ketchup without getting your fingers covered in ketchup. This is not the Whataburger I know. This is recently been happening. Wake up and see what the employees are serving. Supposedly they aren't supposed to touch, but that's what biscuits & gravy is. Sounds like they were being lazy **UPDATE** 03/22/23 & 03/23/23 Went to this location back 2 back. Same time period (noon). Ordered on app. Given a promise time & waited additional time (10 minutes) from given time. Fries were a bit sogy/stale 3.5 star experience. This location can be a hit or miss. Can be good/bad customer service/food.

This whataburger has the worst service of them all. Rather drive to the Eastlake one. Things are always missing from the order especially when it’s busy. I’ve seen people get out their car in the drive thru because of this issue. Don’t bother asking for ketchup because they won’t give you any.

Used the drive-through. Outside lane has to wait for some to come out to take payment and wait again to bring the order. Ordered burger with mayo instead of mustard. Got mustard anyway. Beef patty was hot, but the bun was cold; refrigerator cold, not "room temperature" cold. No receipt with the order. Got the grill slip instead. Really not a great impression. Fries were excellent and piping hot, though.

But I drove to the whataburger and there 15 vehicles ahead of me and only one line was formed because lane 2 was closed it took 35 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I got my order. I know there had been a lot of talk since the chain sold and franchised but I had yet to have a bad experience, until this night. Burgers were dry and what was supposed to be Texas bread was regular. I ordered a pancake platter and received a breakfast platter twice in the same week. Today I went back for the pancakes. I didn't check it when I first got it because I waited for around 15 minutes and had to go back to work. I get to work after going back for the pancakes and realized there was no syrup. Everytime single time order online for delivery their is always something missing and or wrong items. I understand mistakes happen so I never complain. Today was the last straw though. Not only was I upset because 2 items I paid for were missing, but after consuming most of my burger I was horrified to realize that I had been eating a piece of wax paper from either the patties or the cheese that was left in my burger. I will never order or go back to this place again. Zero stars.

Whataburger itself is great but this location is really bad. Burgers are always cold, service is always slow, just bad quality all around. They put one drop of mustard on their burgers, have to put your own. If you want your burger hot or even somewhat warm ask for it like that, not like it would work but it's still worth a try. If you want a good Whataburger, go to the one on yarbrough or Lee Trevino.. way better! Always hot, always juicy!

McDonald's has better customer service and that's just sad. Food should not take so long to be ready only to be cold 5 minutes later. Honestly its disappointing that you charge extra for containers of onions or pickles when no other fast food place will. Dont plan on visiting again.

Clarissa provides very bad customer service. She shouldn’t be working frontline if she can’t hear and do the order correctly at the drive thru. She got our order wrong and on top of that was being super rude when we told her the order was wrong. I don’t recommend this WB as it’s really just a bunch of high schoolers trying to get their feet wet.

Always packed literally takes takes like 15-20 mins to get your order pay and get your food. I had to repeat my order so many times and they still got it wrong. I ordered 2 number 1 no pickles or onions and I got 2 number 2s with pickles and onion. My daughter is deathly allergic to onion, I'm glad I checked before giving it to her. I asked for spicy ketchup they gave me 1 for a total of 6 people. Also asked for the buffalo chicken sandwich, they had no buffalo. Asked for jalapeno on my burger they gave me 2 jalapenos. Honestly not worth the $60 I paid. Definitely do not recommend. Also please train your employees properly all this potential going to the trash.

I love Whataburger but the service and food in this particular location is so bad... I hate complaining and giving bad reviews... But it hasn’t been only once that this has happened. It has happened so much that the food they give us is cold, COLD!! The fries are stiff and hard cuz of how cold they are. We kindly asked them to make sure our food was as it should be, warm at least... and they still gave us the food cold. so disappointed. If you “constantly change the fries” they wouldn’t be this cold. That’s plain ridiculous.

Order online to avoid the hustle of waiting in line. Came to the exact time the food should have been prepared. Park my vehicle and waited for ten more than 20ms. The food wasn't ready and they were missing drinks. Worst customers see vice when I came inside to let them know they were missing some of the drinks. Ordered through drive through and when I get home all of my order is wrong and to topit off my coke was just carbonated water disgusting. I called and spoke to the general manager in horizon (female) and I told her about my issue. Second time in two weeks I will never go there again I'd rather drive a little further but will know we will get a better meal.

Took them forever, even in El Paso this is now waitaburger. When I say forever I was prolly there 35 mins in the DT, got the order completely messed up, missing the potatoes on my taquito and the bob rancheros with no jalapeños, absolutely dreadful. Food was fresh though.

This place use to be good now it sucks. Today i went and for the third time in a row they get my order wrong. I asked for my burger with no mustard, with cheese. And for my surprise, the burger had mustard, no cheese and for some reason it had jalapeños. I went i side to rectify the order and i walked out of there just to come home and find my burger with mustard residue and a single jalapeño on it. This guys used the same burger to fix my order. Unbelieveable. I will not be visiting this particular location ever again.

Don’t order online curbside. You’ll be served after everyone at the drive through. Also, the attitude of the young man working the curbside didn’t help. Went in to see what the hold up was...His explanation...there were a ton of orders before yours?! Placed the order, drove to Whataburger (15+ min) then sat in the car for 40+ min wasn’t enough time? I understand being busy on a Friday night, but not when you see the drive through customers getting served for a full 40+ min and finally get your food when you walk in. 😒

I told rep at window I don't care because I ordered burgers ! Rep who only spoke Spanish was puzzled and asked me what I ordered ! Keep in mind it was only me and a car behind me at drive thru ! Manager Alexis is the worst representative this chain could ever have. If you need assistance hell laugh in your face and tell you have a nice day. Disrespectful, unhelpful and ignorant. Refused to replace an order when another manager promised to ,then made an excuse that he couldn't get in touch with that manager to confirm. Lousy excuse for a manager and customer representative. When I use the online service they always take forever to take my order and I get missing items… this morning I went & used the curbside & it took more than 20 minutes for me to get my food to my car. I had to call to see what was going on & they apologized for the wait yet they took maybe another 6 minutes to give me my food. I leave the restaurant and I had ordered some onion rings so I start eating them when I realized there was a hair in one of them it seemed like they had fried it because it was stuck in the onion ring. Never going to that place again, it’s not only me who has complained about management and the wait time and incorrect or missing items. That should’ve been an automatic refund when I got the hair in my food but all I got was a new order of onion rings.

Best burgers ever! However, the workers here tend to mess up the orders a lot, so check before, especially if you are going through the drive thru. Customer service varies, sometimes they're jerks, sometimes they're good, just a matter of luck like in any other fast food joint. Edit: we ordered two fries and we got half the basket on one and less on the other one. They hide the fact they are not filling up the baskets with the ketchup packs. What a freaking joke. We like the food, but this is just ridiculous. See attached Pic. We didn't notice until we got home. Learn from my mistake and check your food always, and call them out, this is robbery.

I placed an online order of 3 whataburger meals with cheese, 1 whataburger Jr meal with cheese and 1whatawing meal. All my meals were missing the cheese and fries with the exception of the whataburger Jr meal. I called to the restaurant and Jacob (shift manager) apologized and offered to replace the entire order before Friday. I call back and let the manager at the time know Jacob approved to replace the entire order. Not once did Jacob asked me to go back to take my order back the same day. Thursday I decide to all and get the meals and Alexis is the shift manger for the day. He laughs in your face, doesn't let you speak and tells you to have a good day to shut the person up. He is disrespectful, unhelpful and just told me no it's not his fault that happened. It will not be replaced and that he spoke to Jacob and Jacob doesn't remember the conversation. Nothing i love more than placing an online order, it saying it will be ready between 12:05 and 12:10. Getting there around 12:10ish checking in, then 12:25, still no food. I go through Drive through Get told by the manager. I don't know what you pressed, but it didn't show on our screen that you were here. I get my food, which is already soggy and cold, and all I get is sorry. I'll talk to my staff. Tbis place already has HORRIBLE service, which is why I order online to save myself having to order there, and well, they still mess it up and take no accountability or make it right. Not that I wanted my food for free, but maybe remaking at least the burger that is soggy or refreshing the already watered-down drinks?

Food is always cold, sweet tea is always hot without sugar...young employees are always talking amongst them and not paying attention to customers... polite but low efficiency.

Manager really needs to get their staff working. Watched them flirting around and had to wait over 20 min for a single sandwich. Three tables came after I did and somehow everyone else got their food first. This place is over staffed and just wasting labor. Food was a complete disappointment and incorrect to add insult.

Terrible customer service. No one greets you when you come in and they let you wait there for many minutes before coming to take your order. Then it's "can I help you"? Really??? If that was my store I would retrain the employees on manners then fire them if they don't follow through. Shameful.. And thru the drive through once, it took a good 12 minutes to get 2 taquitos with sausage, egg and cheese.. way too slow. Seriously management???

Last few times have ordered 4 large meals and the tomatoes paper thin and looked disgusting  the lettuce equal if not poorer. The quality in general since opened 100 percent has gone down fast. Gave them high marks and another one off Alsmeda both were great friendly and the food awesome and vegetables looked and tasted farm fresh. Today order large meal and 4 Dr Pepper shakes which were all different shades of vanilla I noticed one was really just vanilla even took lid off and stirred it and no Dr pepper made them aware of it and said they r all Dr Pepper but would make another one which another employee argued that all r Dr Pepper which just shook my head and was not continuing the conversation with something they need more training on. And guess what got home all 4 Dr Pepper shakes vanilla with it barly darker than 1st one and all on top they were not mixed correctly after we stirred up them up we had 4 plus the 1 replaced we had 5 large vanilla shakes with not even a hint of Dr Pepper, I order them almost weekly 4 to 6 large Dr Pepper shakes my kids and I love the Dr Pepper shakes and love the burgers but what a let down and disappointed that management has allowed this to happen and the treatment to customers by employees. Have more if needed to post and prove. It is sad that a hamburger joint has problems with providing fresh tomatoes lettuce, and, oh, I forgot, onions and milkshakes, which is the pure basis of your business.UPDATE 11/18/20 Still no response from local management, Corporate nothing. Guess we know where they stand

No grilled onions or grilled peppers on the chicken fajita taco. I don't recommend this whataburger. Zero stars if I could.

The employee Lucas was very disrespectful always all over the place and just seemed judgy. Couldn't even help out with a simple task. Tried to talk to manager but he said he was the manager. If he's saying the truth you guys should change manager he's trash.

Food was nice and hot. Everything came out to order. I requested alterations on my two #5s and they did not miss. Everything as expected. Location needs to be power washed or something. A smell in the parking lot killed the atmosphere.

Went through about 20 minutes ago. I ordered a large meal with large fries and a large Coke. I also asked for ketchup on my burger. Got home and saw what I got. The fries box was only half full. It looked like someone grabbed a big handful out. Checked my burger and no ketchup like requested. I paid over $11 for this meal and didn’t get what I ordered. The worst part is that the drive-thru wasn’t even packed. There was one car to the right of me.

Really what’s so hard to read orders. This is not the first time they messed up my order. I decided to give it another try and this time I decided to go inside instead of the drive thru ( always missing stuff or my orders are wrong ) so I went inside and guess what my orders are bad once again missing ingredients ( jalapeños ) in 2 of my orders.The staff needs better management or to put them in training again.

Found hairs in both my burgers, unsanitary and disgusting place don’t go here. How can people be so gross and disgusting and serve food like this, I’m so grossed out and I will never eat there again and I hope they get shut down serving disgusting food like this. Food still god but location is definitely sub par to other locations from service and attentiveness of employees to extremely slow service even with empty restaurant and 3 cars in drive thru can expect 15 mins wait. Management needs to be addressed. Start a from top. (Revised) got home and checked order , no ketchup! Can’t stand that. And asked for sugar cookie for kids meal and got chocolate chip. Very lazy service here! Revision 2!!! My bacon cheeseburger has no bacon!!!! Dropped to one star. If area manager were to walk in and see empty store people just hanging out and talking and dishing out terrible service would be horrified…. Not worth going here for the food with such terrible service
