I could see why there’s so many good reviews about this restaurant! Great casual place to get great Indian food! The service was great, the menu had pictures which was helpful. The prices were amazing! My favorite thing that I got was the chicken lollipops, I would get that every time if I were to come back. The buttered chicken was very good, the taste of the butter. Curry was slightly underwhelming, it had spice, but no rich flavor but overall highly very good especially the chicken itself. The non-also was good but wish it was a tiny bit more crisp beer. Overall, I highly recommend this place and would be coming back.

Experience at Aga's today was simply awesome. Being vegetarians, we had ordered Paneer Shashlik (comes with rice and gravy), Veg Kofta in White Gravy, Garlic Naan and Paneer Tikka Masala. All the dishes were delicious and fragrance of spices were too good. We just loved the food. Staff were very courteous, smiling and ever helping. We got the table almost immediately. They have good vegetarian options. Ample parking available. If one is looking for a good Indian food in Houston, this place cannot be missed at all.

excellent 👌 Pakistani and Indian food with high quality and tender meats which were very flavorful. service is very efficient and friendly. overall top quality food experience. the goat chops were tender the nihari was the best with generous good quality meat. prices are reasonable service and staff are very efficient and organized. The rest rooms were also very clean and well maintained.

The best place to enjoy authentic Indian food in Houston. I absolutely love this place. The service is excellent, and the food is outstanding—full of flavor and truly authentic. Every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. On weekends it’s usually very busy, which just shows how popular and good it is. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Indian cuisine.

We went to celebrate one of our family members birthday today. It's hard to find the parking, probably due to Christmas holidays last minute shopping on Christmas eve today, at Marshall's, right next door to the restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. A lot of leftover to go. The service was great. Although the restaurant is packed, but they have plenty of staff that ready to help with whatever needs. Highly recommended. It's a great place for a family gathering or friends get together.

Agas is hands down one of the best places to go for any celebration — and there’s a reason it’s always at the top. The biggest thing that keeps us coming back is consistency. Everyone has different tastes, but Agas delivers the same quality and flavor every single time. We had our first meal here years ago, and even today, the taste feels exactly the same. That’s rare. No surprises, no compromises — just reliable, delicious food every visit. Another thing we love is that there’s always a wide variety available, and you never hear, “this item is out of stock.” On top of that, the service is excellent. The staff is well-trained, attentive, and makes you feel genuinely welcomed, which adds so much to the overall experience. This is why Agas is our go-to place and why it continues to be number one for us. Highly recommended for family dinners, celebrations, or even a simple meal done right.

They have perfected the art of balancing spice and flavor, with every dish we ordered not failing to amaze us. I finally had the chance to visit this restaurant last month with my family. It is one of the largest and busiest restaurants I have ever seen 😀 truly impressive ! Superb atmosphere and the food is excellent 👌 outstanding goat chops & mutton kebab with naan was delicious 😋 Overall food quality was truly exceptional 👏 For me, butter chicken was average, but everything else exceeded expectations. I would definitely love to visit again ! If you are around Houston and a meat lover, this place is highly recommended 👍a must visit !

Every dish we tried was phenomenal, but the standout was the halwa puri—a rare treat in Houston that instantly reminded us of Pakistan. The puris were perfectly puffed and golden, the halwa was rich and fragrant, and the chana had that unmistakable homestyle flavor. It brought back memories of true desi Sunday breakfasts, something you simply can’t find just anywhere. The flavors were deep, perfectly balanced, and cooked with the kind of care you rarely find. The meats were tender, the gravies rich and aromatic, and every bite reminded us why Aga’s has such a loyal following. Whether you’re ordering their signature grilled items, their legendary karahi, or any of their traditional specialties, the quality is unmatched. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, adding to an already fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for families, gatherings, or a memorable night out. Aga’s is one of a kind—a place where food, hospitality, and authenticity come together effortlessly. It’s no surprise it’s considered one of Houston’s must-visit restaurants. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit.

One of the best places I’ve visited! What truly stands out is that they don’t try to reinvent flavors - they bring out the true, authentic taste of desi dishes, exactly how they are meant to be. I’ve tried many items here over multiple visits, including Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Goat Chops, Chicken Boti, Goat Seekh Kabab, Falooda, and several other dishes, and they’ve never disappointed. Even their desserts, like Falooda, are made with high-quality ingredients and have the perfect level of sweetness. Every dish reflects quality ingredients, rich flavors, and the perfect balance of spices. The service is equally impressive - clean environment, attentive staff, and consistently warm hospitality. Weekends may come with a 10–15 minute wait, but the staff remains extremely organized and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

Aga’s consistently delivers flavorful Pakistani/ Indian food with great variety. The chicken lollipops were well-seasoned and crispy, and the goat Peshawari karahi was rich, tender, and cooked just right. The naan was fresh and complemented the dishes perfectly, and the beef samosas were a solid start to the meal. The Aga’s platter is good for sharing, but the overall bill can add up quickly—especially with add-ons and drinks like mango lassi, which felt a bit pricey. Portions and quality are strong, but pricing is slightly on the higher side. Overall, a great spot for authentic flavors and group dining. Worth visiting, just be mindful of the total.

The food here is seriously good. We did end up waiting close to 2 hours, which was a bit frustrating, so having a better way to manage or schedule the wait would make the experience smoother — even though they clearly handle a massive crowd. Once we got seated, the food didn’t disappoint. We ordered the seekh kebab, goat chops, and goat biryani. Everything was solid, but the goat chops really stood out — hands down the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Definitely worth visiting for the food, just plan ahead for the wait.

I finally got the chance to visit Aga’s Restaurant & Catering in Houston after hearing so much about it. Even on a Sunday night around 9 pm, there were at least 60–70 people waiting outside, and the inside seating was completely full — a clear sign of how popular this place is. Once our number came up, the staff greeted us warmly, led us inside, and seated us promptly. We were asked to scan a QR code at the table to access the menu. A young lady greeted us with a cheerful smile and took our order efficiently. The service throughout was excellent — quick, organized, and friendly. We ordered their famous Aga’s Goat Chops, which were flavorful and well-grilled, though they could be a bit more tender. Chicken Lollipops were okay but not great. The Goat Biryani was below the level we expected — it lacked the rich depth of spice and aroma that make a biryani truly special. On the other hand, Chicken Malai Boti and Mutton Kofta were both very good — tender, nicely seasoned, and satisfying. We also ordered Masala Chai, which came in large cups — generous in quantity and good in taste, though it could be improved a bit more with stronger spice balance. For dessert, we tried Mithai Chaat, which was pleasant and a nice way to end the meal. Overall, the service and hospitality were outstanding, and the staff did an amazing job managing such a large crowd with quick service and timely cleanup. The food was good, though a little overhyped in my opinion. Still, it’s definitely worth visiting once for the experience — especially for the goat chops, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere.
