Was a pretty chill vibe for a Thursday lunch. Went to the bar to order drinks and food and they brought it out to us at our table. We ordered a hamburger 🍔, tacos 🌮 and a pork bowl 🍜 for the three of us and the food came out fresh and hot. Everything tasted great and the portions were generous. Service was prompt and would definitely come back again to try more of their eclectic menu. Prices were spot on for the area.

Such a beautiful spot with great food options and even better customer service. I walked in, was immediately greeted by everyone in a very friendly way, they were helpful when I was trying to decide between 2 orders, and the food came out so fast I almost didn't believe it. I got the black beans and sweet potato tamale. Unfortunately the sauce was too spicy for me (but still tasty). The tamale was a nice size and delicious! I'll definitely be back again if I'm on that side of town to try more dishes and drinks

Love this place! I had the Brasil Benedict with Smoked Salmon, and it was delicious! The ube cold foam was sooo good on the Ube-Dooby-Doo Matcha Latte. The Migas were also really good, although they could have had more jalapeños, and the breakfast sandwich was just as good as any great breakfast place. I definitely recommend this place :)

Cafe Brasil has been one of my favorite spots in Houston for a long time. I’ve been coming here since my college days back in 2007, and it’s still just as good now as it was then. On my recent visit with my family, it reminded me why this place has stood the test of time for me. The food is consistently excellent no matter what time of day you come. Breakfast is always fresh and hearty, lunch hits the spot, dinner is flavorful, and the desserts and treats are absolutely worth saving room for. Everything is cooked with care and comes out tasting just right. The space itself is one of the things I love most. It has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with great ambience, and it’s the kind of place where you can sit down with friends, family, or even solo and feel comfortable. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re in Houston and looking for a spot that offers incredible food all day long with a vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy yourself, Cafe Brasil is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Disappointed by the food options of a place named after Brazil, it's a pretty typical brunch cafe with a pleasant interior and even outdoor seating shaded by bamboo, but the food just didn't cut it for me. The hashbrown was overcooked and way too dry and tough, the morning bowl was filling but limited in flavor. The prices are expensive but the quality is just not there. I've been to many other restaurants in Houston with better flavor for the same price so I would not recommend this location, except for the atmosphere.

I bought a whole lunch and coffee, but this establishment doesn’t allow you to stay longer than 2 hours to make “room for new patrons” even when there’s plenty of seating for other people (spoiler: their food is shit). The owner is the worst, and I’m not sure why he would feel comfortable coming up to say something like that to a paying customer.

I try not to be super critical but I was blown away by how bad the food was here. Some of the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Tamales = dry, tacos = dry, shawarma = dry and earthy, pizza = dripping with grease and floppy. Don’t think they used any salt on the food either. Only redeeming quality is the staff was pretty chill and the atmosphere was very nice. Response to owner: DAMN — this owner’s response is unhinged. Anytime I feel compelled to leave a negative review, I always take a moment to look back at my review history, which is overwhelmingly positive. I don’t leave bad reviews lightly. Since you apparently require proof, here is the receipt. I originally gave two stars because your frontline staff was genuinely kind and professional. After reading this utterly irrational and hostile response from ownership, I’m revising that rating to one star. This response alone says everything a potential customer needs to know.
