I have been many times with my wife. Service is usually quick with friendly servers. The owners are usually there and they keep everything running smoothly. Everything I have eaten is delicious. It is one of our favorite restaurants and we eat here nearly once a week. It is clean, has a nice bar, the wait is not that bad when they are really busy.
I loved it . Great food great service.
Everything I have eaten there is amazing. Great staff. Last night I ordered the spinach crepes with 4-cheese stuffing and meat sauce on top. It was delicious. My usual is Chicken Romano and it’s yummy!
Wonderful warm interior, the aroma of garlic and spices greet you when you walk through the door. You just know it's going to be a good experience! Flawless service and nice menu choices. I had the snapper with the lemon butter crab topping. Honestly, I've eaten fish at hundreds of restaurants, and this was by far the very best. Can't wait to return the next time I'm in Houston!
Their food was amazing , like heaven in your mouth ! Excellent service 🥰 and Shannon was our amazing server for the night , EVERYONE was soo friendly and we got seated so quickly , definitely coming back , Thank you soo much for the great experience.
Always great service and food. Owner walks through dining areas and is attentive. Pleasant atmosphere.
This place is fantastic! We decided to give it a try last night to celebrate my daughter's piano recital. Ambience, food, service - all were perfect! Shannon offered some of the best service I've seen in years. We can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!
Went today, very early. 4:35 pm. Decided to sit at the bar. James the bartender was very interactive with conversation. Great Woodford Reserve Old Fashion. Decided on the Veal Mavala. Great choice. For dessert the hazelnut cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Service was immaculate. Treat yourself. Sit at the bar, James will definitely take care of you! 5 stars for sure!
I stopped by to pick up a house salad and pasta salad. The manager helped me and went out of her way to give me written instructions on how to put the salad together the next day. It was so perfect and everything turned out delicious. Love Campioni’s for over 20 years now and keep going back.
Food tasted delicious & fresh! I ordered the primavera gluten free pasta with shrimp. Enjoyed it thoroughly! I was with a group so our time of waiting isn't the norm, but the servers were on top of refilling drinks and getting bread out. Very friendly staff and I felt welcome. I would definitely come back here for a date night!
This place never changes. It is always consistent with service and the taste of their food. I have eaten here for over twenty years. I remember the old location fondly, but their current location is perfect. You get away from all the hustle and typical retail strip centers that are so common. The only thing more perfect is their food. I promise you'll love it.
Campioni Restaurant – A Must-Try for Italian Food Lovers I recently dined at Campioni Restaurant, and I am still dreaming about their Beef Tips. The meat was incredibly tender and cooked to absolute perfection. But the real star was the pasta sauce – truly out of this world! Everyone in my party raved about their meals, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting too. The glowing reviews for Campioni Restaurant are entirely justified. If you're searching for top-tier Italian cuisine, look no further. Campioni blows the competition out of the water!
Have been going to Campioni’s since I was a baby, literally and it’s always been the best Italian food in champions!
So, picture this: my husband and I are all set for a big night out, we’re all dressed up thinking we’re headed out to a party… only to realize it’s actually next week. Oops! Luckily, a neighbor had recommended Campioni’s, so we decided to roll with it and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar. Best decision ever! We met James and Joe, the dynamic brother duo behind the bar, who are equal parts charismatic and chatty, and, honestly, just know their stuff! James effortlessly rattled off the specials, and every recommendation was a winner. Bottom line? Campioni’s is a must-try. Great staff, great food, and prices that make you feel like you’ve stumbled onto a hidden gem—how often does that happen these days?
We celebrated my SNL birthday on 6/12/24 at Campioni. Such a nice spacious place where you can actually hear your own conversation. The food is fabulous and tasty. Quick service with a smile and a warm greeting. My SNL and his family are regulars but it was my first time. I will definitely be returning.
We got here just after opening and were immediately greeted and seated. I ordered a fish dish and my friend ordered spaghetti. We had the calamari and garlic bread as well. Shannon was our waitress and was so attentive and sweet. We got free dessert because it was our first visit!! Everything was great, but Shannon made everything spectacular! I had a glass of the Riesling, which was delicious. It's a rather large space, but tables are spread out so you feel a nice level of privacy. They have ample parking and would definitely recommend.
Wonderful restaurant that always offers a pleasant dining experience. Very pretty setting and attractive dining room. Especially like the tables that overlook the patio. Friendly waitstaff . All the food is delicious , well presented and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Chicken Pamela and the Spumoni ice cream . There are party rooms for special events and plenty of parking .
Went here last week with my aunt. She had a linguine and I had the veal. Both our dishes were terrific, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The server we had was both helpful and polite. He even informed us for first timers they offer a free dessert for the table (don't know if it applies to lunch) and came over before the kitchen closed for the night to make sure we got the order in. Definitely will come back with friends!
Charming place, everything is home made and feels like Italian comfort food. Best garlic bread, lasagna, and ice cream that I've had before. They also have a treat for first time guests to give them a welcome experience.
Great food, great atmosphere and great service!
Great food Great staff quiet atmosphere so you don't have to yell. Cost reasonable. I would eat there again.
We had a very large group but our servers were sure to keep glasses full and check in often (but not too often). The dinner was delicious and desert were just as good. I liked that the seating area was separated into smaller, more intimate areas as opposed to a huge, typically loud, space.
This is an independently owned neighborhood jewel. The food and staff are really outstanding. Mains to Pizza and salads are perfecto! Ric,the owner is gracious and he keeps a nice selection of wine at a fair price. Weekly visit for us.
Wonderful Italian restaurant nestled among trees for great atmosphere. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Top recommendation! Great for date night!
What can I say about this place? Always great food, great atmosphere and great service.
Christmas dinner for family. Six of us with two being very young. Staff were happy to be there and our service showed it. Food great, the restaurant quiet (even with our little ones). Third time there never disappointed.
Love everything about the place. Food was Great! Service was Great! Atmosphere was Great! We have lived right around the corner from this place tried it this evening and we will definitely be back. Jake did a Great job making recommendations and taking care of us.
Food is great, service was very good and the price is decent. Everything was great, down to the bread they served. I got the Greek salad with my Chicken Celio. I almost liked the salad more than the chicken and that's saying a lot because the chicken was awesome. Will definitely be going back.
Just discovered this place after 10 years and I have been missing out big time. I like Adriatic but this place overall wins for me. They don't cut corners on the food quality and the casual dining environment is what I like. I look forward to coming here for years to come
First time visiting today... Drinks, Food and Ambiance were great. Channel, our server was amazing. She made our experience an enjoyable one. Will definitively come back soon, and bring our friends...
This place has a Killer Non-Pasta Entree called Chicken Pamela that is not only foodgasmic but one you can't find on any other Italian menu. The restaurant is a neighborhood and local favorite and has been around for almost 3 decades. As a food blogger/vlogger I did my research as always before scoping it out and recommending it to my photographer who wanted to try an Italian place. Based on its reviews, we both decided to go for Campioni. She went for the lasagna. But since I'm not huge on pasta, I asked our waitress, super friendly, about the pasta-free dishes. She recommended the chicken pamela and after seeing some of My FAV Things: Butter, Gorganzola, Apples and Golden Crusted Chicken - I said: SUPER SIZE ME!! ok ok, so supersizing aside, as my friend and I talked business over lunch, their manager pamela came over to introduce herself. Turns out, the buttery entree I was scarfing down was named after her after she and the owner bickered over which of her favorite things to create a new entree around. Both Pam and Chicken Pam are Bomb! They are quintessential neighborhood, local friendly restaurant with some traditional Italian staples and then some really unique dishes like Chicken Pamela. --Seasoned, Breaded Chicken, Golden Fried, ***WALNUT BUTTER SAUCE*** (to die for), Gorganzola cheese, sliced granny smith apples, served over sauteed spinach and served with crisp, cooked green beans. I could have eaten 4 chicken pamelas - and it's a killer option when you're looking for a low-carb, diet-friendly entree. They have a number of other pasta free dishes that make it hard to choose from. And Pam is happy to share as much about the menu and the restaurant. More Good Signs? --A huge party of locals, ladies who lunch, and lunch break business professionals who have been going there for years. I stopped to talk to some (like I usually do) and they'll tell you they're long time regulars. For me, I'll be back for more Chicken dishes and any other pasta-less entree they have with some friendly stories from Pam! Menu Items are also pretty descriptive and the price point is excellent! I'd support local like Campioni any day over big box.
We love the menu and friendly atmosphere! Servers are skilled and able to handle special requests easily.
Garlic bread and meat balls changed my life i drive all the way there from tombal … i can tell the way the business is ran because it’s like a family there and Chanel was there for ten years she really feels that place is her home loved her energy … the chef and family owned for decades …great relaxed environment with the perfect light level … I can’t believe I got that free fudge cake for being a first time customer … it was so good i felt like Crying … lasagna needs to tightened up a bit Expensive lasagna is usually a small square not a plate and that top layer needs to go …..staff were all actually wanted to be there … and all were social ….this is real quality food and ambience and it’s located in a secret forest
Lasagna was very good. The portion was amazing. Ordered 1 of eqxhbdeseet with my group. One word...delightful!
It's was my first time visiting but definitely not the last. I want to try everything on the menu that I can eat. Only thing I can't eat is dishes with seafood; other than that my taste buds and stomach capacity is ready for round 2, 3, 4...you get the point. I mean look at the evidence of deliciousness with the picture. The other picture not the owner. Lol...anyhoot. See you soon guys and gals. By the way; the staff was awesome as well. Hey google...is their a sixth star I can give this establishment..? Just saying...or am I!
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. The food is excellent. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating.
Loved Campioni. Highly recommend if you want an authentic experience with family like service. Started with their garlic bread - soft, fresh and flavorful, fried cheese - amazing with their homemade sauce, pasta primavera - fresh veggies and then, because it was our first visit, our server surprised us with an awesome desert and did not charge. I had to tip high for that fantastic customer service.
Joined a friend who recommended the restaurant. It was a very cozy place and the service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the sautéed snapper which lightly floured and was tender and flaky with lump crab and mushrooms with a delicious lemon chive butter. The green beans were deliciously crisp and flavorful. I chose to sub the ziti marinara side with fettuccine alfredo (not pictured)which was perfectly sauced. The complimentary bread was hot and fresh served with a whipped butter that melted immediately when spread onto the bread. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and happy to find such a nice little place 15 minutes away from home and plan to return.

Campioni Restaurant is a charming spot offering authentic Italian cuisine with rich, flavorful dishes. The menu features pastas, pizzas, and traditional specialties made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great choice for family dinners, casual meals, or special occasions.
Campioni first off is located at an amazing lot. Huge parking lot, trees all around. Just a fantastic location. The Calamari is insanely good. The bread is great. Carafes of wine is a win. The service is always friendly, the only thing that I wish they had was some sort of outdoor seating. Given the size of the property and great surrounding view, it would be a hit and we would likely come more often if given the option to sit outside. Definitely in our regular rotation of italian restraunts though!
Hidden Gem! All our food was delicious! The house salad was perfectly delicious it was way better than the Caesar salad! My daughter ordered the Lasagna and she loved it! I order the Veal Marvella and subbed the veal for chicken and OMG it was excellent! They should definitely add this to the menu! I forgot to take a picture of it because it looked and smelled so good that I devoured it upon arrival. My friends ordered a meat lovers pizza and they said it was amazing! We will definitely be back when we are back in this side of town for sure! Don't forget to see the pics! They speak for themselves! 🤤
We have been here many times and it's always a wonderful experience. Tonight we had the honor of having Nolan as our server. He was a great conversationalist. One of the managers, Jessica, came around a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was delicious, as always! I got the lasagna and a house salad. The hubby got the spaghetti and meatballs with meat sauce. We got an order of the garlic bread, which is delicious, but also the bread that comes complimentary is just as delectable! The meal portions are very generous. Of course, I absolutely had to get the chocolate pie for dessert even though I was way too full and probably shouldn't have! I did get pictures of the meals, but forgot to get the pic of the breads, the dessert and also my super delicious house salad! The balsamic vinaigrette is superb!
My 2nd time to eat here and the food was absolutely delicious! The waitstaff was attentive and nice even though we had a large group. I'll definitely be back.
Had an impromptu back to school lunch with my kid 2 weeks ago. Haven't been to Campioni in a while. It was great. Kid loved everything and of course the hot fresh bread. Will put Campioni back in our dinner rotation.
If I could leave more than 5 stars I would… Food, service, and atmosphere are “chef’s kiss” exceptionally great. Each time. My husband and I moved to this side of Houston a couple of years ago and started frequenting Campioni’s after our first visit. (By frequenting, I mean once a week because the food and service are that good… genuinely.) Owner, Rick + staff members James, Joey, Val, Nolan, Danelle, and Kat also keep us coming back. This restaurant is truly one of the best parts of the community that we live in.
Campioni is a wonderful restaurant in every aspect. Firstly, there is a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere in this relatively small but incredible restaurant. My experience here was quite calm and relaxed, and the restaurant wasn’t too noisy. Secondly, the service here is exceptional; all the servers are very kind and considerate, and their smiles and personalities relay the message that they enjoy their job and genuinely care about providing a nice experience for their customers. The most important part of a restaurant is also perfectly represented by this restaurant, namely, the food. I came here with my family, and we were all pleased by the food, enjoying every bite. I ordered the lasagna, a very rich, warm, and hearty meal that fills your stomach with tasty pasta and sausage. My mother loved her sautéed snapper, and my father enjoyed his Penne Alla Campioni, which was a tasty penne pasta dish with a Campioni flourish. My brother received lots of chicken on his fettuccine Alfredo, which he liked but thought there might be a little too much cheese. Everything about this experience was great (except for the cheese, I guess), and I definitely recommend this place to you.
It is a very quiet and cute restaurant. You can tell the lasagna I had was from fresh ingredients. The bread that they bring out is really tasty as well. My favorite was my husbands Caesar salad. I’m going back and adding that to my entree next time. The staff was really helpful and kind.
Only been a few times but this last time the food and service was on point. Went for lunch and their lunch menu was extensive. Server was very attentive to refill our drinks without asking. Food tasted delicious and portions were not overly indulgent, which means there was room for dessert (or appetizer if you prefer). My husband got the calzone and he said the crust/bread was not too dense, which is his preference. I got the shrimp and crabmeat linguine and the shrimp were cooked perfectly - not overly done and jumbo size. Also recommend the hazelnut cheesecake. The crust had crushed hazelnuts and server told us it's all made in house. We look forward to returning again to try more of their menu options.
I'm a big fan of Italian food! I come from a big Italian family and many are in the restaurant business. This place definitely gets it right. From the beautiful location, to the service, and the quality of the food. It's definitely the place to go for a great Italian meal. What else can I say ? The whole experience was great .. wonderful service. The kind of service that always has your drinks filled, but never interrupts the conversation. That's the best compliment I can give to any server. Campioni Restaurant is TOTALLY got it right!
Great food and great service! We heard so many great things about this place and we finally tried it out! They have a Hoise bread that comes out, and also a garlic bread on the appetizer menu. I definitely suggest the garlic bread, it's amazing! The shrimp asiago on the appetizer menu is also fantastic, I used the extra sauce for the house bread! Staff is very attentive, food is great, would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat!!
Food was ok. The sauce(red) was a little sweet and bland at the same time. The portions were small for the price.
My son loves the beef tips. He orders it every time. I love the bread and butter that comes with dinner. My daughter had the margarita pizza with sausage and it was great. The wait staff was very kind.
Being half Italian I’m always skeptical of going to Italian restaurants Although I will tell you, I was pleasantly surprised the chicken Parm is very good. The house balsamic put on the salad. Wasn’t overpowering. And very tasty. I also had the opportunity to get on the roof and possibly do some business with them so all in all, it worked out fantastic
The steak tips were great. Everybody else I went with claimed to be a foodie but didn't have any opinion on their Meal's. The bat did a good job with the drinks, but our waitress had a hard time keeping up with our drink orders. All in all it was a good time..
I ate, for the first time, at Campioni yesterday. I'm giving it it 4 stars, but it could just barely shy of 5 stars. Let's start with the negatives, since there weren't many and they were relatively minor. When we arrived, we had to wait quite a while before the hostess eventually showed up and seated us. To be fair, she was in the kitchen helping prepare a to-go order, but it was quite a wait, which really got under the skin of my elderly mother. The other issue was that there was quite a gap between when my mother's entrée arrived and when mine did. At one time, the waitress asked my mom is she required a to-go box, and I had to point out that my entrée still hadn't arrive. Because lunch is served with a salad, it wasn't a big deal, but it's one of those little things. OK, now to all the positives. The dining room was very clean, and I thought it was a nice place to dine, especially with the large windows overlooking the garden. On cold day, like yesterday, when that front door opens, you get quite the arctic blast racing across the dining area. Even though there were a couple of little hiccups, I thought the staff did a good job. They were very friendly, professional and pleasant. I had the Chicken Pamela with the Greek salad. The Greek salad was absolutely delicious, and it was pretty big for a starter. The dressing was really good, and all the vegetables were fresh and crisp. I'd be very happy ordering the full Greek salad as a meal. The Chicken Pamela was fantastic. I highly recommend it. It was cooked just right, and the combination of the apples, walnut and chicken worked perfectly. The Chicken Pamela comes with a side of green beans. They weren't crisp, like I prefer, but they were very tasty. The combination of Italian spices they put on their bread is right on target. I told my wife about my meal, so she wants to go real bad. If Campioni weren't on the other side of town from me, I'd definitely be a regular, based on this initial experience. Additionally, the bar area is large and looks like it would probably be a great place to meet with friends before dinner. If you live in the area, and have not tried Campioni's yet, you're really missing out on a good meal. BTW, the Chicken Pamela is $15.99 and comes with a choice of salad (if you like Greek salads, definitely choose it) and bread. For the quality of food, this is a good price. My mother had the full Greek salad ($10.99) with grilled chicken on top (I think that was an extra $4, but I may be wrong).
Nice restaurant, hadn't been in years. It appears to be a restaurant that serves more the older crowd, which is just fine. That crowd is polite, friendly, and quiet. The staff of professional and polite as well. It was good all the portions seemed small; possibly due to the general age of the patrons.
Went to dinner there for the first time the other evening. Very quaint nice place nestled in a tree filled lot. Large windows overlooking an outside landscaped area. Ordered the Lasagna. Very good. The bread was awesome. You have to ask for the olive oil and spices to dip it in. Very nice and the waitress was very nice. When she found out we had never been there before she gave us a free slice of their fudge pie and berry ice cream that was fantastic. We will certainly be back. This is our new favorite place for Italian.
Food was a bit expensive for the quantity and quality. I had the steak over toast. Atmosphere and service top notch
Very good service, with a smaller menu than one might expect from other Italian restaurants. We did not try the pizzas, which were half of the menu. Salad was fresh and the house dressing was good. Overall the dishes were a bit too spicy for those of us with sensitive palates. My dish was linguine with shrimp and crabmeat, with a tomato butter sauce. The shrimp were large and I had enough crab on my plate. The atmosphere was a bit on the loud side for my preference, but I was overall pleased with my visit. Check out the menu before visiting.
Although they ran out of snapper, they were able to accommodate bye recreating the sauteed snapper and replacing it with chicken. Of course it was very different in consistency and all, but overall amazingly delicious! I would definitely recommend getting this dish. Lightly breaded chicken or snapper, topped off with mushrooms and lump crab meat. It is served with a side of green beans in a lemon butter sauce. I got the Alfredo pasta with it as another side. It was just any regular alfredo pasta, but the flavors of the sauteed chicken was delicious. You won't be disappointed. The ambiance of this restaurant is quiet with dim lights. Great for family events. I noticed that they also have a banquet room for larger parties of 10 + or 20 +. Our server was delightful and was very attention to detail. My cup was always filled with water! She even packaged my to go food! A great place to go if you are craving delicious Italian food.
Live music is great, but it was slightly too loud to talk.
Food is good and well priced. Nice variety. Love the salmon salad. Have pasta primavera with grilled chicken on gluten free pasta. It is excellent. We go weekly. Only complaint is is is noisy. Wish they could make it more conducive to conversation, more intimate. But food is always fresh and great.
We didn't care for the food. My calzone was strangely hot and COLD. Seems it was made with frozen ingredients. Outside perfect some parts inside cold. Maybe frozen spinach Maybe a fluke just my luck
Food was amazing. Large spicey shrimp cooked perfectly. Creamy sauce was really nice. Even the calamari appetizer was tender. Dining room was spacious with plenty of room between tables. It was refreshing to be able to talk without having to deal with a lot of noise. We were seated near a window that overlooked a peaceful wooded area. Servers could use a little more experience. Overall great meal. Update 08/30/22- food is still amazing. Generous portion size, but not excessive. I really like the atmosphere and there is enough space that you don't feel crowded with other patrons. It wasn't noisy and you can have a quiet conversation comfortably. The wait staff still seems lacking for some reason, but not horribly.
The Fagioli soup is overpriced at $6.50 for a small cup (not a bowl, a cup) with barely any meat. It was 97% pasta and beans? I suggest either lowering the price or increasing the meat. I get that Fagioli in the traditional Italian sense has very little (if any) meat. But most customers will compare it to Olive Garden or Americanized versions with more meat. So either adapt to that expectation or lower the price. The table bread: either add herbs to the dough or add salt/herbs to the accompanying butter. The bread lacks a lot currently, just a sprinkle of herbs on top doesn't change the blandness of the actual bread. Better herbed house butter could cover that up quite a lot (or even try house bread oil instead of butter, which could be cheaper and is actually more Italian). The calamari is overly breaded and underspiced. Try the calamari at Sushi Haya on Kuykendall for better calamari. Is the tomato sauce on the lasagne from a restaurant supply store? It was bland. Try more seasoning and made in house...my husband did say the Lasagne was better than Olive Garden though. The Penne Campioni was alright. The sauce needed salt and was too thin. The sausage was passable. Portion sizes here were good as was service. The ambiance outside would benefit from cheap outdoor twinkle lights in the trees to make it romantic. Overall a cute property.
The charming location and sweet, attentive service really made the atmosphere and experience pleasant, however the food unfortunately did not tally up. I would assume these are not authentic recipes or ingredients. The cheese was rubbery, the bread and pasta lacked texture, everything was short on flavor and heavy on salt and the calzone was a dripping hodgepodge of generic ingredients cooked unevenly. I would guess the tomato sauce is store bought and the lemon sauce tastes like watery melted cheese.
The food was good, but the restaurant needs an update. Rather cold and loud.
The food was ok (not the best I've had). Location is tucked away from the road. I came here for a seminar so food was paid for.
Good Italian restaurant. Ordered Cannelloni which was really good. Spinach pasta rolls filled with delicious cheeses and topped with tomato sauce. I added some Parmesan but it was not needed since everything was very tasteful. I split this dish but the full one comes with 4 rolls. I also got a Cesar salad which was ok. I also tried their hazelnut cheesecake which was very smooth but I didn’t get the hazelnut taste. It was more like coffee taste. Seems like the hazelnut was on the crust only... I will try something else next time
Campioni is like a restaurant in the woods. The place is spacious inside. The food here was pretty good. The penne campioni reminded me of a gourmet hamburger helper. I appreciate the restaurant for giving my mom a complimentary cheese cake for her birthday. My mom enjoyed her visit. One critique is the lemon white sauce they gave us with the calamari tasted like fermented sour milk. The marinara goes better w the calamari.
My husband and I were looking for a new Italian place to try in the area and found Campioni and headed over to have dinner. The staff was very friendly period we were seated pretty quickly, and as we looked over the menu, we did have some questions which our server was very happy to help and even went to go check with the kitchen for some things period We decided to order the calamari as an appetizer and pasta dishes for our main course. We also both got a side salad, and our server brought out some bread after we ordered. The calamari had a nice thin breading but no flavor and was rubbery. Additionally, the marinara sauce served with it was delicious, but the "lemon sauce" had no lemon and just tasted like watered down cheese. Shortly after the calamari came out, our salads arrived. They weren't bad, but they were very overdressed. We then got our pasta dishes and were sadly just not impressed by the lack of flavor in our dishes, and my manicotti unfortunately had a sauce similar to the "lemon sauce " that wasn't very pleasant. I will say one thing we did really enjoy was the bread, it was delicious and served with an herb butter.
As you walk in the place is very nice, the host to seat were not very polite and kind of off Standish! Our waiter was a very nice man and always made sure our drinks were good. The food came out very quickly and the bread and butter was delicious! So you ask why do I give this a two star? When we got our food mine was great not a ton of Flavor but not bad either, My Husband couldn’t eat his because there was so much cheese to the point where it’s pretty much all there was!!! My daughter who is 12 was able to take 1 bite out of her $13 meal because there was so much cheese and it was tacky that it stuck straight to her braces like she had eaten bubble gum!!! I will say she has had her braces for a year and we have never had a problem with anything until now. So in return we all three shared my plate of food! The waiter did ask us if we wanted a box and I told him nicely why and that we wouldn’t be able to eat it and his response was o then walked away! We will not be returning unfortunately because I had very high expectations and was bummed when my husband said he would rather go to Olive Garden next time which he doesn’t even like.
This place offers nothing close to authentic Italian food. The taste is generally bland, focused on quantity over quality, ingredients are not traditional of Italian cuisine (like mayonnaise or some sort of sponge cake for tiramisu)
Service was pretty good. Food was not good. Whole place smelled like seafood when you walked in, you would’ve thought it was a seafood restaurant. The house bread and butter was weird, the butter had vinegar in it. The best thing I can say was my pasta from my spaghetti was Al dente, I cannot stand mushy pasta. The meatballs were not to my liking pretty sure they’re made with sausage which I don’t like. VERY expensive and just not worth it in my opinion, I’m not sure why this restaurant has such great reviews.
The restaurant smells like sewer system. Really really bad I was accompanied with my friends and they would like to sit down to eat but the whole time they complain. The restaurant smells really bad. The bathroom door is next to the host stand and the smell of the urine is coming out. Service was lost. Do not know how to add asparagus on the side, she was standing in the middle of the hallway not knowing what to do. I have to ask other Server to help us out. One thing is for sure we will never return back. They need to do a better job cleaning the restaurant.
