Found this gem the first time I went to Houston and now I go anytime I visit. Their pupusas are delicious and they are big! Everything is cooked pretty well and the wait time is low. The staff could be a bit friendlier/more attentive but they've never been rude. This place is great!

Good food and prices but for some reason some of the beverages on the menu either they don't have the ingredients to make them or they no longer serve those drinks.

The pupusa were okay 7/10 which is very disappointing thus being my first time there & also having to wait almost 35 minutes just to recieve 2 pupusas to-go when i was told it would take 15min . Service needs A lot of work poor communication with me among how long it would actually take or why it was taking so long .

I used to come here all the time. Their Pupusa are really good but recently I stopped by for a to go order and once the server sat the bag down for me to take my order a roach literally climbed out of the bag. The response wasn’t to change the order or anything it was if I wanted a new bag. I wish I could leave a different review because their food from what I remember is good, but I worry about the cleanliness of the restaurant.

The waitresses here are EXTREMELY RUDE. We arrived at 7:35 and they close at 9. She comes up to us and says the kitchen stops taking orders at 7:40. We asked her to give us two minutes and she rolled her eyes at us and walked away. We didn’t even sit down and said we need to order now. It was our first time visiting and didn’t even see the menu and it will definitely will be the last. She even smiled when we left. NOT WORTH IT. You’re better off driving elsewhere. Not wonder why they’re a three star restaurant. Seems like they don’t want to even have their business open

My husband loves pupusas and wanted to try this place out yesterday. We ordered pupusas revueltas, cheese and bean and cheese. The bean and cheese for my daughter tasted spoiled like rotten milk. Me and husband's pupusas were not cooked all the way through. The masa in the middle was raw. I let them know about the spoiled food and was not charged for that. I took home the plain cheese pupusa. Upon reheating and attempting to eat it, it too was spoiled. Needless to say we will definitely not be coming back at all. Not even worth a try.

Called in for 10 pupusas and a breakfast they told me they would be ready in 30min when I showed up they didn't have my order ready and made me wait another 20 min at the end they only gave me the pupusas and told me I had to wait another 15min for my breakfast very disappointing I will not be coming here anymore.

I came in today 7-18-24 and the restaurant is huge inside. Lighting is dim not very bright. The cashier was actually very nice. I ordered 4 pupusas revueltas and 2 large horchatas my total was $22. My 1 star rating is due to the food. The pupusas are huge but they don’t have the best flavor. The quality of the ingredients were cheap tasting and not truly authentic to Salvadoran pupusas. The curtido was ok, again lacking flavor. The horchatas were horrible, it had a bad taste like sour milk and not authentic at all. Tasted like powder horchata in milk. Very unpleasant. I do not recommend eating here because the food doesn’t seem authentic to Salvadoran Cuisine.

I ordered over the phone ,when I finally got through I asked for a really simple order (10 pupusas revueltas) (1 mariscada) thank you order will be ready in 20 min and bye . I get there 25 min later food is not ready had to pay to start the process but with a bad attitude, because they had me waiting for another 15 min I finally get my order and it was wrong ,my order I got was 6 pupusas with green beans and under cooked and a fish soup,witch everyone knows that fish soup is not a mariscada, wow a really really bad experience

I used to give this place 5 stars, but I took my family here today and the cashier decided to pay herself by putting extra charges on my tab. The food was good as always, but I’m not into giving money away for no reason. She put two charges on my tab that say grocery, but everything that I ordered was always accounted for so I don’t know what the grocery charges are for. When we asked her, she just shrugged her shoulders. I definitely won’t be going back and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else going here. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!🤬🤬🤬
